Popular Post slender_adrian
#144 Difficulty: 8/10 or 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Grind: 5/10 Time: 195 Hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 1.0% / Very Rare 7.43%] "My memories will be part of the sky..." Every time I heard the name "Final Fantasy", this is what I imagine it would be. A wondrous world filled to the top of pure fantasy, a world born from an incredible imagination and a writing that brought to life one tale that will never be forgotten. Final Fantasy 9 is the game that closed one era in the series, it's no wonder why it is such an incredible game since FF9 is a big homage and tribute to what came before, and looking at what Hironobu Sakaguchi said about this being the closest of his ideal Final Fantasy game, you can really tell that this is what a Final Fantasy should be, a magical world filled with the purest of fantasy. I found the story of FF9 to be one of the best if not the best, it's a story filled with profound themes like existentialism and the inner struggle for a purpose, the characters in FF9 are one of the best I've ever seen even the side characters are so memorable you never forget about them. The main cast of characters throughout the story really evolve, this is the type of story I like where you can feel the characters not just as characters instead as humans living, they are amazingly written. And what's better than a good story? A good story with freaking good music! Nobuo Uematsu created one legendary OST for this game, more than 100 tracks and the main theme Melodies of Life is such a beautiful song, my favorite ost in the FF series are 10, 7 and 9. Final Fantasy 9 is a fantastic game accompanied with an incredible art style, ost, characters, an incredible story and world, this is my one of favorite FF game for all of these, this is game I'll never forget about it. Straight to the point, getting the plat in this game depends only on one trophy, Hail to the King, jumping 1000 times in a minigame. Now there are 2 ways on doing this, you can use the a script or you can doing it the intended way. I went for the normal way, and let me tell you that this trophy is by far the hardest shit I ever attempted, this trophy broke me, but you shall never surrender oh and I'm never doing it again. Jumping 1000 times comes to one thing only, skill, you either are good or not. I spent 88 hours on that trophy and I'm not proud of that, I just wanted to test myself and see how far I could go. So the other way is using a script which gets you the trophy without any inputs from your hands. My honest advice for anyone that wants this plat, don't bother with this use the script, unless you want to do it. Since I hate myself I tried later the script method and without the time it took me to watch the guide on yt, it took me 20 minutes to get to 1000 in only 3 attempts. 88 hours > 20 minutes. This is a very skill based trophy so it can be easier for some and very hard for others so keep that in mind. Btw I ran the script on windows 11 since I read it doesn't work, for anyone wondering it does. So with that out of the way lets forget Hail to the king exists, it never happened. The rest of the trophies are very easy to get, sure they require time and surely 99 nobles would be impressed by the trophy list but they are nothing worry about. One advice, always look every corner in all areas for treasures, you need to pick up a lot for a trophy and I was in the endgame and I thought I missed, but then I went back to Alexandria and got like 6, granting me the trophy, so be sure to check everywhere. The other trophy that can be a "pain" is Bloodlust, killing 10k enemies, which is a 15 hour grind but if you're used to this time of grinds is no big deal. I recommend while doing this to get the 99 frogs too, every 1 or 2 hours I went to grab some frogs for the Quina side quest. I've done worst grinds, this one was by far one of the easiest and I love grinding, just lay down get comfy and watch anything, you can even watch a FF9 speedrun and by the time it's done you'll still need like 6 more hours of grinding hahaha. Good luck for anyone going for this amazing plat and remember that no cloud no squall shall hinder us for getting the platinum trophy kupo! I truly love Final Fantasy 9, a complete work of art, my favorite universe in the series and a game very special to me, I mean it has moogles, what else could we need? Spoiler While playing FF9 one of the dogs I grew up with passed away with 11 years old, for me she was part of the family and I never saw her as just a pet. I just wish Bonnie is finally resting. And all the memories I had as a kid with her will be a part of me forever.
Popular Post NetoStyle
Gotham Knights + 100% with DLC's #213 Heir to the Cowl Earn every Trophy in Gotham Knights 19.73% | Rare 6 days, 23 hours. I was interested on this game when it was announced, but on launch it had many problems so I decided to hold on and it got added to PS+ Extra catalogue a while ago so I made the right decision. I played the campaign with a real life friend on co-op, we had fun... it was a nice surprise after all, we had very low expectations but we had a great time! Of course when playing with a friend everything becomes more entertaining, overall the campaign was alright but the post game modes (DLC trophies) were way more entertaining. My only complaint is that the game still runs at 30fps on new-gen bruh... I feel like 60fps should be the standard (at least).

It's a vibe for sure, so much so that I decided to double dip with the other version and do it all over again lmao, this is 120 hours of just spraying water on stuff right here. If only I could be this enthusiastic about cleaning my own place up or something... but sadly no trophies for that CX

It is an unique game, if you allow yourself to fall into the world and immerse yourself into your character, you will give yourself an unforgettable role playing experience that you will often fail to find in other games. Note: Civil War quests are notoriously buggy. At first, i joined the Imperial army but soon i had to go back to a previous save file and join the Stormcloaks instead due to a quest breaking bug during the Reunification of Skyrim. Multiple frequent saves is the way to go with this game. Edited March 18 by ShinigamiSensei-

Popular Post SirDave1988
# 175 Ratchet & Clank 2 (Vita) He Went Commando Obtain all Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando™ trophies Finally. 5 years this took me, because I gave up on it for so long. For the most part, this is a reasonable Vita port of the HD re-release of Ratchet & Clank 2 that runs much better than the comparable Jak ports on the system. However, one aspect of this port makes it 10x harder to get the platinum than any other version. That would be the analog controls on the space flight missions. Imagine analog controls, but the sensitivity of the sticks is turned up tenfold, with no way to turn them down. This turns Platinum Bolts on these flight missions from trivial matters to Cuphead levels of difficulty as you need to win these races, beating your opponent and flying through every single ring on a course without missing 1, and the slightest flick of the stick will send you wildly off course. It's legitimately one of the hardest tasks I've ever done on PlayStation, I don't know what they were thinking with that. Once that was done, it was easy enough from there, and the rest of the game is still very good, it's just a shame about that one overlooked aspect. This has given me renewed interest however into finishing off the Jak ports on the Vita, despite their wonkiness. It would be nice to get them finally completed and move on. Popular Post Golem25
Platinum #169 & Platinum #170 Tchia [PS4] & Tchia [PS5] New Caledonian - Collect all Trophies [PS4] New Caledonian - Collect all Trophies [PS5] 6,145 Owners -1,420 Achievers for a percentage of 23.11% (Uncommon) (average completion; 25.74%) [PS4] 25,117 Owners - 5,011 Achievers for a percentage of 19.95% (Uncommon) (average completion; 22.38%) [PS5] Enjoyment; 7/10 Difficulty; 2/10 across both stacks (the game was clearly designed with kids in mind) Trophies; 6/10 (nice tiles and names, but too heavy on collectables) I wouldn't mind living here; 10/10 This post will probably come too late for most people, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't write it. It's not the most difficult or time-intensive Platinum, but it's still worth celebrating. And for what it is, Tchia is actually a really, really lovely little game that deserves your attention, even a year after release. Tchia is a third person action-adventure game set in a game world inspired by the French territory of New Caledonia, including its people and their culture, that was developed by Montreal-based studio Awaceb, whose founders have ties to this group of islands out in the Pacific Ocean. Most Playstation enthusiasts may know this title as being the headline addition to PS Plus Extra back in March 2023, when it was added to the service as a day one release. The screenshot above does the game more justice than I could possibly be able to do with just worlds. You take the role of the titular little girl and are dropped into a gorgeous, sunny, vibrant world rife with unspoilt beaches, untamed nature, and plenty of animals scurrying around. Your father disappears and you leave your tiny little home island to explore to big landmasses as well as a small few extra islands and landmarks dotted around the ocean, while the plot drives you forward in your quest to reunite with your dad. I won't go into the story any further, but it veers off into some very, very interesting and wildly unexpected places towards the end - with themes and cutscenes that do not align with how kid-friendly the rest of the game is. Gameplay is simple and accessible, built with children in mind, I would think. Taking more than a few pages out of the books of Wind Waker and Breath of The Wild, most of your time spent in Tchia is exploring its vast wilderness, but not in very conventional ways. Befitting of a little girl, you don't really run all that quick, so the game makes you rely on supernatural powers that let you possess animals and inanimate objects. Need to cover miles between you and the next town? Possess a bird and fly there. Stuck offshore? Posses a dolphin or dugong. No animals around? Possess a rock, and fling yourself through the air. For sea-based travel, you do get a little raft with a sail that doesn't go all that quick but gets the job done. The possession mechanic also comes into play when exploring - possess a small rock to fit through tight spaces - and partaking in combat. Dotted around the islands are camps of cloth-like enemies that Tchia needs to burn, and as you're a little girl with just a puny little slingshot, you're instead forced to throw open flames at them - or just possess an oil lamp or log from a campfire, and roll into them to set them ablaze. It's all very simple with little challenge while not being too mundane, which is a very delicate balance to strike, but there are 30+ of these damn camps and plenty more burning to do as part of the story, and it frankly overstays its welcome. This applies to other elements of Tchia as well. 180 little trinkets to find for a Trophy, 80 pearls in the sea that are laborious to collect, 95 treasure chests, 36 campfires (used to restore spiritual power), 58 fruits that extend your stamina, 15 Points of View (the local equivalent of Ubisoft Towers), 26 racing/diving/slingshot challenges, 10 fast travel points, dozens of animals to register to your not-Pokedex..... it's a lot. And you need all of them for Platinum. Tchia's story will take about 4, maybe 5 hours, but getting 100%? That's going to take 18 to 22 hours, depending how good you are at flinging yourself around as a rock to make sure you get around quickly. Without the possession mechanic, I'm sure it would take 60, 80, maybe a 100 hours. The collecting does get extremely tedious at a few points, but by and large, the gameplay loop of possessing random junk and flying through the air for as long as your mana bar allows remains so smooth that it's not a massive issue. The worst points for me where having to clear out a set of massive industrial enemy encampments in the second half of the story, with no indicators available as to where the last of the enemies are - so good luck finding the last of those 27 stupid cloth golems in the big factory! The game tries to reinforce its theme of exploration by not giving you a fit-for-purpose minimap, and your own location on the map is not marked 99% of the time, so by using a single marker you're given, your compass, and your surroundings, you're expected to figure out your location yourself. Not that big a problem when going to story waypoints, but it's a tad too prohibitive when going for the hundreds of collectibles. I would have liked to see a proper map as an unlockable following the conclusion of the story, as by then you would have proven to the devs that you have been able to make do with the few tools they gave you at the start of the game, but alas. Ultimately, most of the frustration you might experience while playing Tchia comes from the needlessly large number of collectibles. This detracts from the overall game, but if you commit to merely a casual playthrough, you're in a for a really good, charming time. There is a lot of love that was put into this game, from the local voice actors to the various New Caledonian dishes recreated in the game for you to eat and restore your magical powers with. The cartoony graphics fit really well, and it's ultimately a carefree saunter through a very beautiful tropical setting. As such, I don't hesitate at all to recommend Tchia, but that's where I might be too late. Tchia is leaving PS Plus Extra today, so I doubt anyone will boot it up today. However, if it ever returns to PS Plus Extra, or is added as a monthly game on PS Plus Essential, I would really recommend you give the game a fair go.

Popular Post DaTruthAboutCats
Platinum # 57,58: Brotato PS4/PS5 This game was on my radar after watching some rogue like must plays and ranking videos, all having something pretty good to say about this game. If you're about having fun with a game, and not take things too seriously. I recommend this game. It's simple, you move your character around the enemies and your character is attacking enemies. If you get got, you lose HP, you lose HP, you start over. The longer you last, the more items and upgrades you get. If you win a round it unlocks different characters with different abilities. So there's replay value as well. If you're into trophy hunting. Ya know, because this is a trophy hunting forum, you'll like the trophy list. It's doable on the normal modes even though pretty challenging as you move further up the difficulty latter with harder runs. I feel with enough practice with one character I could get the game beaten. The trophies have you play with different characters and win. Which is good because it helps you get gold and the game and see what possibilities there are besides the typical ways to kill enemies. Not much more to say, the music is great and catchy and it's only 5 bucks in the PlayStation store. Next game: Balatro
Popular Post GothGirlMaxine
My 3rd platinum of 2024 - Taxi Life! Time: 30-40 hours Fun Factor: 7/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 Disclosure: I did receive the game for free, all opinions expressed in this post are entirely my own. Taxi Life is a simulator, set in Barcelona, which puts you in the driving seat of a busy taxi driver. The game is pretty unique and definitely fills a gap in the simulator market. The trophy list is very simple, mostly just grinding out routes, KM’s (nothing quite as insane as Fernbus Simulator thankfully), reaching level 30, collecting all collectibles, and some miscellaneous tasks. - Nothing difficult but it can feel like a grind after about 100 routes. You’ll need about 180-200 routes to reach level 30 based on my stats but this will vary. (Again nothing insane compared to Fernbus, that 1000 routes trophy was just painful) Don’t get me wrong, despite the issues, the game, as an open-world taxi simulator in one of the most beautiful Western European cities is nothing to be sniffed at, and the game is great in regards to its premise and it serves it’s purpose well. If / when the issues are fixed or at least less of a bother, the game will be more likely to be recommended as a game to play. It needs more polish, but thankfully if you’re going for the platinum, no issues there. Also fastest platinum achiever as of when this post was made, so go me! Either way, I am glad I experienced this game, but even if just the framerate issue is fixed, it will be in a much better state. Thank you for reading! ~ Maxine
