Popular Post tommeyliang
#68: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA (PS4) Obtained my 68th platinum from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA. There were times during my first playthrough that I didn't think I would achieve the platinum. After earning all but the one for seeing the True Ending on Nightmare difficulty or beyond, I started my second playthrough of level 90+ cast of characters. I had to consistently use Flash Guard/Flash Move for some story bosses, but others I couldn't even though I was familiar with their attack patterns and behaviors. I had to constantly keep healing or reviving myself. Today I finally achieved a difficult platinum. Overall Ys VIII was a great JRPG. The first 20% of the game was flat, but it definitely picked up after a certain point and I never looked back. The sentimental music being used when maxing approval for characters was very touching. Gameplay is easy to pick up. Overall: 9/10
Popular Post Ceridane
› DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ #69 Difficulty: 2/10 (Boosting ranked) Time for platinum: 20 ~ 25 hours Enjoyment: 9/10 Perfect game for Dragon Ball fans. Every single character is extremely fun to use and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. The detail they have put into the moves and specials is just incredible. Difficulty wise without boosting it would probably be around 8 or 9 because of how many skilled players you encounter online. Thankfully its really easy to boost and it will only take you a few hours to get the trophy with a boosting partner. Trials are also so easy specially because it only requires you to do 200 and there are so many characters you can choose from so no issues at all on that trophy. Now the 20 million trophy would have been an absolute grind but thankfully there is an easy exploit with the login bonus were you can get 200k every 2 minutes. This bonus will be available until the 27th so if you want to get this platinum is a good time to start now.
Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#126: PlayStation VR Worlds Platinum Trophy (0.61% - Ultra Rare) Complete every PlayStationⓇ VR Worlds Trophy PlayStation VR Worlds is one of the first VR games ever made, and has often been bundled with the VR, a thing that contributes to the rarity of the Platinum. But not only that, because the Platinum is actually quite hard: I agree with the 7/10 and 25 hours of the guide, it was not that bad to me once I got the handle of it, but I can definitely see why worse players would give up on it. The game is actually a combination of five different games, each containing various challenges to complete, and for the Platinum you need to complete all of them. It should be noted, however, that out of the five games, only two are hard and the 7/10 rating is applied to, the other three are easy. Ocean Descent is the easiest of the bunch, for the simple reason that it doesn't even have gameplay at all. All you have to do is boot it up, and simply do nothing for some minutes until the "game" is over. It was thought to be a mode where you simply enjoy the VR itself and the view, but it didn't feel appealing to me. A completely useless mode, and they might as well have not included it. Scavengers Odyssey has you explore some space wrecks, killing enemies in the process. It is possible to die if you suffer too much damage, but the amount of damage you have to take in order to die is actually high, so there is nothing hard about this mode. The hardest part was actually the challenge asking to get every collectable, because for some reason one did not count, but I didn't know which one and I had to collect them all again. Eventually, it turned out I had collected them all, but one didn't count, for some reason. London Heist has you being part of a three men gang of thiefs who steal a diamond, and is essentially a first person shooter. Weirdly enough, it is not possible to die here, making the difficulty close to none. There are also a lot of cutscenes full of dialogues and miscellaneous tasks to do related to the challenges, making this mode overall more enjoyable than Scavengers Odyssey. There is also a free play mode where you have to shoot some targets and gather points within a time limit, trying to get Gold ratings. Getting it in some occasions took me some tries, but again, nothing hard. As I said, it is in the next two games that the difficulty spikes up. VR Luge is the first of the two games that are actually hard to 100%. In this game, you take control of a person who drives in the middle of the road with an electronic skateboard or something similar, I don't know exactly 😅, gathering a ridiculous amount of speed (100/200 km/h) and trying to get to the end of the track as fast as possible. It is not possible to stop riding, he goes forward by himself, all you can do is change the direction by switching your head to the sides: you lose speed by crashing against the track or against the other vehicles. The hardest challenge requires the player to finish the VR Luge Tour sub-mode, which consists of all four tracks one after the other, with at least 10 seconds to spare. At first, it felt impossible to me: it took me like 4/5 hours to finish it with 18 hundredths of a second! Eventually, I learned the tracks, their layouts, the vehicles spawns and the best spots to gather speed, and eventually I finished with roughly 6/7 seconds. I was getting there. More hours of trying, and there was it: I managed to finish it with 10.78 seconds to spare. I also made some mistakes in the last track, I'm sure I could have saved at least one full second, probably 12 seconds would have been possible, who knows But I was very satisfied, especially because of the fact that the video I tried to emulate finished with 10.28 or something similar, so he was actually roughly half a second slower than me. And in the end, Danger Ball. That's where I thought I would give up. This game is a mix of Ping Pong and football free kicks, where you need to headbutt the ball in the opponent's goal. At first, it felt scripted and very luck based to me, I was very frustrated and I would have given up, if it wasn't for @F1rstinFlight's tips (Thanks pal). Without his tips, I'm sure of it: the mode becomes scripted, luck based and the difficulty spikes up even higher. His tips consisted of putting the hands at the sides of the VR, thus giving you more stability, and headbutting the ball with strength, instead of just standing still, in order to give more power to your shots. The first hard thing to do is beating 5-0 Necro, the final boss of the Tournament sub mode: the problem is that you can only face him at the end of the tournament, so if he gets one single point against you, you have to restart over the entire tournament from scratch and waste a good 15/20 minutes to even have a shot against him once more. Very stupid. Thankfully, once I mastered those two tips, I beat him 5-0 at my second try. The second hard thing is getting a score of 8000 in the Score Attack sub-mode: at certain points, the ball goes insanely fast and it's hard to react, you really need good reflexes. At a certain point, my best was 6980 and I didn't go any further, until when the next day or two I suddenly made it with 10.100. Once that was done, just few still hard, but much easier challenges were left for the Platinum. Overall, I had a great time with this game, especially with the two hard game modes, a challenging game I recommend to anyone looking for a decent challenge. 👍🏻 Out of my 126 Platinums, with its 0.61% rarity, it is my second rarest, only behind WWE 2K18 (0.54%). Oh and I almost forgot, here's the Platinum screenshot, courtesy of @ihadalifeb4this. 😅 Edited March 22 by KenjiCBZ

Popular Post parkerdip
#99 - Assassin's Creed Mirage (PS5) First trophy - 3rd March 2024 Platinum - 21st March 2024 Time taken - 2 Weeks, 4 Days, 11 Hours After all these years I still enjoy the gameplay loop of Assassin's Creed. I thought this was another fun entry in the series and makes a nice change of pace from the last three extremely large games, Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla which I did really enjoy all of them too but I am surprised how after this many games they keep coming up with ideas to keep it fresh and enjoyable. Still I wouldn't rank it as one of my favourite entries and the story wasn't the best it was a fine entry in it's own right. They really did go back to the more stealthy approach of the original and stealth is encouraged more. I found it much more challenging once you entered combat and they brought back the notoriety system so killing people in view made it harder to travel. This game is probably the closest we will get to an original Assassin's Creed remake. Although I think this is better as the first Assassin's Creed was boring as you were doing the same few tasks over and over again. This game had aspects of that but also added variety and I did not get bored playing through the 25 hours it took me to platinum. This was my 2nd platinum of 2024 and 99th in total. Now I need to work on getting that coveted 100th platinum! 19

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #784: It Takes Two Difficulty: 3.5/10 Playtime: Who cares? Time is a flat circle Ohoho, I'm such a rotten person... well, anyway, you know me. Multiplayer games. I don't like 'em. Unless one is randomly fucked by the vicissitudes of the things you call fate--and thusly forced to engage in the practice for the sake of the Hunt and its ultimate preferred end goal of Completion--one does rather prefer the solitudinous life of a Lone-ish Wolf. RAWR, and all that good stuff... but all you furries out there best keep your thoughts to yourself because I AM NOT SOME PIECE OF MEAT FOR YOU TO OBJECTIFY!!! Yet still, gang... now and again one reaches a flashpoint while blindly traversing the Great and Bewildersome Crazy Quilt of Life, and must concede, before God and Man, that sometimes... Hah, bet you weren't expecting a reference to the sixth worst Olsen Twins movie today, now were ya Skippy? Ensuring that your daily pop-cultural exposure doesn't ever veer too narrow or recentist, that's me lot in life! ...Yeah, so recently, some rather wonderful and transformative relationship type stuff has been going on in my semi-sane kind of life. I mean, haven't you noticed how my recent outpourings of rambly nonsense that nobody asked for have been tinged with a hitherto unseen disposition of positivitude and chipperishness? What's that? You haven't?!? Well then, would you kindly just go take the 5:15 to LlamaLand and blow a blowfish, you base, unperceptive, mollycoddled two and a half star Ignoramasaurus?!? So yes, now my life has changed in oh-so-many ways... And so, what better way to crystallize the thermodynamic miracle that is the coming together of a pair of twin souls in a universe as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, than to make the commitment of playing an extravagantly goofy asynchronomatic multiplayer deal in a togetherly type fashion? Pretty much heckin' nothing, that's what! Hell, what with the central premise of working through interpersonal issues borne of years of lacking communication through high concept platforming, odds are you'll be pre-empting the onset of such things occurring in your own love life. I mean, if video games didn't teach you applicable life skills, what point would they even have? Hey, don't give me that... you know I'd be out there forging Falchion Gladiae of Infinite Tempest right now if Orichalcum weren't so goshdarned hard to come by! Now, as for the other exigent ingredient of Troll Pubes, you can't even take a five second walk around here without stepping right into a whole heap of them, so that's not the problem. I tell ya, if Jomeo and Ruliet had had access this shtuff back in t' day, things would have turned out a lot different. Jack and Rose... eh, maybe not so much. There would have been even less room on top of the BIG ASS FUCKING DOOR THAT COULD HAVE EASILY CARRIED BOTH'A'YOUS with a whole big ol' PlayStation home theater set up and stuff. Not to mention all the potatoes you'd need for power, even factoring in that Molly Brown probably ate most of them already. Hey, what the hell dude, it's reductive and slightly racist of you to ascribe her infamously voracious potatoe eating ways to her Irish blood... that's 93.7% practice and god-given talent. Neither of us will ever come close because some people were just plain born to do it! ...Bloody amazevelous, now you've made me sad because you reminded me of the existence of Billy Zane, and by extent, how the trajectory of Kingdom Hearts already went sort of a little bit kind of astray the instant they recast him as the voice of Ansem, Seeker of the Dark Snitch, and star player of the Caelum Xehanorts. Oh boy, aren't you lucky I'm in such an agreeable and even-tempered mood these days... there's no telling what kind of painful to fatal rearrangement of bodily organs (to wit: skin's an organ too, as many an unsettlingly knowledgeable pedant has informed me) might have occurred were it not for the enrichening and lively sense She gave to my life and to its pace... Ahem. Resultantly, it will prove tricky for me to maintain objectivity towards this most special of game experiences as it was not one very conducive towards detached observation and analysis, because I was busy gleaning whatever one can glean of the foibles and idiosyncrasies of a person you cherish and admire through the admittedly somewhat limited expressive spectrum of gameplay... and, y'know, HAVING FUN?!? I know, I'm breaking all the rules of video gamery in 2024 here like the stone cold rebel mama done raised me to be. That being said... ...I wouldn't really have had to try hard anyway. Because IT2 (hopefully its success will motivate the devs to finally port IT1) is an inordinately tightly designed, aesthetically stupefying, and highly polished experimental genre potpourrilatformer with a staggeringly consistent fun factor and a very agreeable level of challenge. One minute you're throwing nails to create poles for your partner to twirl around on; the next you're casting ice spells in a Lite RPG like a very low-effort Sub-Zero cosplayer; and five seconds after that you're killing hordes of bugs with what amounts to a weaponized version of coffin packing foam technology from Grim Fandango! It's such an unrelenting panoply of whacktacular ideas and pure unadulterated shithappenage you have to seriously make an effort to find a dull minute. ...Hmm, okay, maybe I spoke too soon. The storytelling could have used some tightening. When you're not proactively engaging in some small reaffirmation of the self through cleverly narrative-propelling gameplay rooted in an aspect of your complex interrelational conflict, the sense of progression tends to stall. The cutscenes with a certain talking relationship counseling book and his wholly needless hip gyrations (do magical talking books even have hips?) grow repetitive righto quick... there are so many better ways to implement crucial progression information. The writing too, while amusing in small doses, is pretty much stuck in one mode... sometimes to the detriment of its more impactful moments. Which is not to say that it doesn't go hard when it counts, but it's rather telling that the best story beats do tend to be the ones that show rather than tell. Well, plot-progressing shenanigans are all well and good, but the game also proves a fertile playground for all sortsa sidetrackey buffoonish jackanapes, offering some much-appreciated breathing room in-between all the sensory-overdosed kinetic madness. Foot-based picture painting, unqualified train conducting, casual snowball fights... it's all there, and more besides. And of course, it's chock-a-block with minigames, minigames, minigames! And unlike certain overrated JRPGs I could name, not a one of them clumsily and carelessly undermine the tone of the ostensibly dEeP and pHiLoSoPhIcAl narrative. In a world in which Hunts that Take Two (or More) almost invariably shit the bed where cross-skill-level accessibility is concerned, the devs are to be eternally commended for keeping things at an amiably casual level... heh, though I've hardly suffered more nail-bitingly tense moments in recent times than when I was cheering on my sweet and lovely girl during some tricky passages. Anyway, checkpoints are plentiful, puzzle solutions are clever and discernible more often than not, and a thorough Chapter Selection function makes trophy cleanup a breeze. Even the aforementioned minigames are optional to play once found: probably a net positive for the more competitively inclined duos out there... how many relationships have been snuffed out over the years on account of a fierce round of musical chairs is not to be known. As fate would have it, we ended up finishing the thing on a highly fitting... date, so as you can understand, my objectivity, socalled, has been well and duly compromised in the best of ways... I hope I've been able to provide some nuance anyway. If not, sue me. Despite some flaws, the game radiates heart and passion... an ingredient that the industry deems more optional by the day, and is thus doubly appreciated. It has confidence in its reason for being and pulls it off with style and attention to detail. The music has a bit of '90s soundtrack whimsy to it; as conducive to a choice dollop of escapist adventure as ever it was. Again, the judicious approach towards challenge ties it all together into a rare immersive experience of pervasive child-like wonder afforded only by this lone medium. So what are you waiting for? Put down your dinky tinker toys; stop wasting Santa's time wishing for hippopotamuseses because--let's face it--you do not possess the precocious charms and persuasive acumen of Gayla Peevey; pick up that phone; reach out to a good friend, and go have yourself a gay old time, in the pre-pejorative sense of the word! Oh, and I'm still referring to the game here if you're confused. Because, my friends... IT.... TAKES... eeeehhhh, you know the rest. Excelsior, and stuff! Popular Post Biscoito18
Since 2020, every year I plat three games from a series in a row. It doesn't have to be in chronological order of release, they just need to be from the same franchise. In 2020 I did Bioshock's remastered trilogy, in 2021 I did Spyro's Reignited Trilogy, in 2022 the GTA Definitive Trilogy, in 2023 the Syphon Filter's PS1 trilogy and, for this year I chose one of my favorite franchises with: Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered Trilogy! #242 - Tomb Raider I Featuring Lara Croft Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Rarity: 7.80% (PSNP) / 0.9% (PSN) Having played both the original as a child and TR Anniversary (the 2007 remake in the style of TR Legend) on both PS2 and PS3, playing this remastered version now is like a two-layered trip back in time, if that make sense. It's a unique experience that solidified for me how important Tomb Raider was to video games in general. Everything works perfectly. It's at the same time simple but also delicate. A masterpiece of the 5th generation. #243 - Tomb Raider II Starring Lara Croft Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Rarity: 3.61% (PSNP) / 0.4% (PSN) One of my favorite TRs as a child, next to Chronicles. I've always loved the creativity of the Dagger of Xian's power and the ingenuity of making Croft Manor the stage for the game's final level. The charismatic final cutscene cements Lara Croft as an icon beyond the fourth wall. They really don't make games like this anymore; #244 - Tomb Raider III The Adventures of Lara Croft Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 0.96% (PSNP) / 0.1% (PSN) TR3 is a cruel and treacherous game. Guides are a must here since you'll never guess where the solution is (especially in Aldwych). Take it with patience and see it as a test to see if you could handle Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, which, God willing, will be the next remaster along with Chronicles. OldSnake031
On 3/14/2024 at 8:08 PM, Viper said: #350 Ghost of Tsushima (PS5) Living Legend Thought I was absolutely flying through this playthrough, but it some how took me 3 days longer to Plat it than the PS4 version back in 2021. I gave a longer review for the PS4 version when I got that Plat, so I don't want to rehash things I already said before, but this is still a blast to play. I was worried early on that I might end up feeling that fatigue from playing it before, that sense of "yeah, I've done this before". But honestly the game felt fresh again, and I forgot a lot of the finer details. Not even bored with it now, ready to jump into the Iki Island expansion. I bought the DLC for the PS4 version months after I got the Plat, and just found it hard to jump back in, so I'll get it done now on PS5 while the game is fresh in my mind, might even try out Legends Mode which I didn't bother with last time (I know most people say it was great, but it felt like another one of those unneeded MP modes in a SP game). But this is definitely one of my favorites to come out of the major PlayStation exclusives (that are now mostly on PC), the story is brutal, tragic, heartfelt. All the characters are likable...except maybe Kenji, he felt like the dimwitted comic relief character in a drab, serious setting with very little room for him. Khotun Khan was menacing, smart and dastardly, the actor playing him ate up every scene he was in. I'm guessing the Shogun will be the enemies in the sequel, perhaps? These authority figures branding you a traitor even though you sacrificed everything to save your people...Jin will possibly be doing something to restore his name while they hunt you. Can't wait...rumors saying it could be officially announced this year. Amazing game, worth the replay. It really is a great game. One of the most visually stunning I've played. On 3/21/2024 at 2:25 PM, RylahPlatin said: Platinum #45 [Final Fantasy VII Rebirth] Total Playtime: 172 hours Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 PSNP Rarity: 1,22% (Ultra Rare) The Planet's Hope IT'S DONE - I don't want to exaggerate, but this was definitely a test of strength and endurance. Firstly, the game is beautiful and probably my game of the year. Playing through the story was amazing and really did justice to the world and legacy of Final Fantasy VII. The story alone took me around 100 hours - I also played all the mini-games and open-world content as the came along. I really enjoyed the mini-games - it really felt like a mixture of Yakuza and Final Fantasy. I like both franchises - so it didn't bother me at all. To name a few of the best: Jumpfrog (hello Fallguys), Run Wild (hello Rocket League) and Queen's Blood. Also, playing through the different music themes on a piano rhythm game was great. Generally, they weren't that hard - you pretty much got through them all after a few tries. The Tifa sit-ups took me the longest. That was all well and good - but then came the two biggest challenges: Harmode and combat simulation. If you have the right materia setting and take the time to level up your materia, you're pretty much on the safe side for the first 11 chapters on hard mode. It felt like the hard mode from Remake - which all in all wasn't that bad. In chapter 12, the difficulty was increased. Rufus / Darkstar was the first wall. Also the fight is not fun at all. Chapters 13/14 were quite a slog - luckily the checkpoints on the last bosses were really fair. That took some of the difficulty away. The Chadley combat simulation - well, let's start with the brutal battles. Again, you can just skim over the first few. The first difficulty spike came with Challenge 5 - The Seventh Seal - especially the Gigantuar and Gargantuar group. Luckily I got through it pretty quickly - the fight was pure chaos, so it was probably more luck than anything else. Brutal Challenge 6: The Rulers of the Outer Worlds was, in my opinion, the hardest challenge the game had to offer. There were a lot of "easy" strategies, but none of them worked for me. In the end, I had the most success with the "Aerith Limit Loop" method - the strategy also felt the most consistent. After about 10 hours of trial and error, I was finally victorious. The last bit was the Legenday Combat Simulation challenges - and thankfully they weren't as bad as the brutal ones. You get a solo challenge with all the characters. This was really fun and you get to know the strengths of each character. Overall, though, they were quite manageable. With one exception: Moss-Grown Adamantoise with Barret. This fight felt like you had to make perfect decisions and play without mistakes. After the solo challenges, there are two duo challenges (Cloud/Zack and Cloud/Sephiroth) Cloud/Sephiroth felt like a really fun challenge and was probably my favourite battle sim - due to the great synergy and utility Sephiroth had to offer. Cloud/Zack was the second hardest challenge - luckily my biggest problems (Titan, Hueyacoatl) were in the first two rounds, so I was able to learn and replay them easily. Once I got past them, it was a breeze. All in all, I really enjoyed the game - I think the combat challenges are set way too high, but everything was manageable in the end. After playing the game all month, I'm definitely going to play some more relaxed games Welcome to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Platinum Shot after 172 hours - final trophy was for finishing all of Johnny's Treasure Trove Next Up #46 Congrats On 3/15/2024 at 8:19 AM, Smaxoy said: #151, 152, 153 What a journey that was..... I rarely play games that connected to each other buy one story like Metro trilogy, Telltale's The Walking Dead and so on, so on of the sales i've pick up Mass Effect Legendary edition to give it a try. I didn't know much before playing aside of the whole Reaper-Harvest concept, Shepard and some other characters and ME 3 ending fail. But man, that were hell of the games, 1 week and trilogy completed, the last time I was that involved in the game and It's characters that much was RDR 2 back in 2018. Luara, Tali, Wrex, Joker, Miranda, Mordin and many of them are pillars on which ME stands, and I'll remember many of them, and Shepard of course. Solid story in which u can see your decisions matter and can be traced, even poor side missions in ME 1 can influence two other games in expected moments. Now I'm up to play Andromeda and replay trilogy on Insanity, wish me luck) Hardly recommend this game to any, who didn't play yet, this game will steal your heard and your tears, if u mess up somewhere (Rannoch moment) Awesome
Popular Post Phlegeth
#76 Dragon Ball Master Obtain all trophies. Like a lot of people I grew up with Dragon Ball. This game was a nice trek through memory lane. Cell Saga is my favorite. Gohan going Super Saiyan 2 always gives me chills. There won't be another like Toriyama. Anyway, the game was fun. There was a lot of RPG jank though. So much fetch quests. Not even counting the sub-stories. And it was funny how they gave Goku one last fight against Kid Buu. Couldn't let the final fight go to Vegeta. But it did that thing where the main theme plays and I'm a huge sucker for that, so I can't fault it.
Popular Post Blitz
#265 - Red Dead Redemption 2 I do not remember when was the last time I have played game this impressive. All the small details that were placed inside blew my head right off, the quality of story, development of characters, creative quests and random side quests and encounters, sound, gameplay physics, writing of each dialogue etc etc, all those make this probably the best game I ever tried. Totally unreal. Edited March 23 by Blitz
Popular Post mega-tallica
#274 - Need For Speed Unbound Enjoyment: 1.5/5 - Oh NFS.... one of those series that you know exactly what you're getting into when you play. No surprises, same old song and dance. Race, run from cops, upgrade your car, rinse and repeat. Makes for a solid filler game. Even though all the games are basically the same, this one is noticeably not as good as some of the last few games, particularly Heat which was one of the better NFS's of the past 2 decades in my opinion. The car physics and handling is just not good. It's too unpredictable. You can take the same turn exactly the same way and end up having two completely different outcomes. Not as bad as Payback's physics were but it's not far behind. And just the dependency on RNG. That you hopefully get a good traffic pattern and hopefully that train doesn't cross the tracks exactly when you are ruining your race. A lot of it just comes down to pure luck as there's simply no way to avoid crashing sometimes with these psychic traffic cars placing themselves exactly where you need to be and there's no way to avoid them. One crash will ruin your race with the obnoxious rubber-banding AI. Everybody's favorite mechanic in a racing game. When a game punishes you for being too good. The story, the dialogue, the soundtrack.... all get F- grades from me. Atrocious. Like a high schooler wrote the script. Not that the story in a racing game matters but it would be nice if they at least put some effort into it rather than spitting out this mess. They're actually getting worse with each passing game. The soundtrack... ugh. No diversity, it's just all bottom-of-the-barrel rap. Pure garbage. Of course this game reintroduces online trophies to everybody's delight /sarcasm. Online is not terrible but not great either. The late addition PvP mode is definitely the saving grace as nobody in public free roam seems to have any interest in actually racing and would rather just ride around doing nothing in particular. I don't know how many times I tried to start a playlist in a full lobby only to have nobody join. Very frustrating so thank god for PvP, it would've taken forever to get the Full House and Mixtape trophies otherwise. Difficulty: 1.5/5 - Activities are much easier to 3-star in this game luckily, particularly the drift zones as they appear to be very broken and you can just fishtail endlessly down straightaways and easily get the 3-star requirement. With the activities being the only real thing that was difficult on the previous 2 games, with them being far easier here that pretty much removes all the difficulty with regards to trophies and ultimately the platinum. 25-30 hour platinum so not a terrible time sink either for a relatively easy plat, it's just you have to play 30 hours of a particularly bad NFS game in order to get it. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you.
Popular Post kkulifay
Assassins Creed 3 Remastered (PS4) The controversial AC3 I don’t even know where to begin. I plan on getting all of the platinum trophies for every game in the AC series. Because of negative comments that I’ve read prior to actually playing it, this was the only game that I wasn’t looking forward to. It had its highs and lows, but honestly, the platinum wasn’t as bad as others have expressed. Here’s a list of pros and cons: Pros: + Love the setting and all the references and homage to American history. + Despite being spoiled by the smooth parkour mechanics in AC Unity, tree traversal was satisfying. The rest of the parkour elements were actually pretty shoddy though + So much diversity in terms of the trophy requirements. From the challenging mini-games to Naval combat. There was hunting, homestead supply and convoy management, and the 100% synchronization requirements were fair. Missions were littered with checkpoints so it made it seamless to restart from the last checkpoint and push forward without a hard level reset (like you had to do in AC Brotherhood) + DLC was fantastic! I actually enjoyed the DLC storyline more than the base story lol. The animal powers that you earn are a blast to use! Think shapeshifting. + I believe AC3 introduced Naval combat to the series and I thought it was well done, especially considering the age of the game. It set the groundwork for the beloved AC4 : Black Flag that we all adore so much. Cons: - Atrocious (probably too strong of a word) controls and mechanics. - AC Liberation Remastered comes free with the Remastered PS4 edition and it’s the worst AC game in the series that I’ve played so far. It was bad. - The protagonist was uninspiring and mundane. He’s a badass on the battlefield, but an overall boring character imo. - On the PS5, the graphics were so inconsistent. To get consistency, I had to always disable HDR before launching, the convert back to turning HDR on as soon as start. It was a ritual that I had to do every time, otherwise, the graphics were washed out and over pixilated (hard to describe since I’m not very technologically savvy). Last remark, I’m proud to say that I did all the expert mini-games thru trial and error! No use of online bot emulation to mirror moves or use of YouTube videos. Just dedicated time to learn Morris and Fanorona and ended up enjoying them towards the end! Overall, it feels so damn good. I’m not bragging at all, I just hope to encourage others to tackle this platinum if you’re on the fence or skipped this title. I’m just a casual gamer, so if can do it, anyone can. You just need the patience and persistence. Don't let what you’ve read elsewhere deter you because I’ve seen a lot of that. Popular Post BlinkWinkel
#262 - Hatsune Miku - Project Diva F (Vita JP) I platinumed this game on PS3 and Vita about 10 years ago, but this is a great rhythm game with lots of replay value and after finding a good deal on the Japanese Vita version, I felt like getting the platinum trophy for a third time! I also wanted a physical copy for the Vita version, since the western release was digital only. Although I still really enjoyed getting the platinum trophy, it made me remember how annoying and tedious the trophy for the loading screen images is... even after getting every other trophies, I still had to load screens over and over for numerous hours over the past few days to get the last CGs I was missing. Oh well, at least I was able to do it while watching anime. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 4/10
