Popular Post Bahraini_carguy
I haven't been playing on console that much lately, much less doing trophy hunting but regardless, here's two of my most recent platinum trophies. Platinum #49 - Sleeping Dogs (PS3) 27th Jun 2023 An open world crime game set in Hong Kong, one that i still wished if it have received a sequel. I already talked about it twice before so i have nothing new to say really. ------------------ Platinum #50 - Mafia II (PS4) 23rd Nov 2023 Good game, less than stellar remaster. It's basically a re-release of (then) 10 year old game but with slightly better graphics and much buggier game play. Much of the cut content or issues with the OG game haven't been addressed as a result. Regardless, i quite like the main game. I can't say the same about the story DLC's. The two Jimmy one's especially felt like a user-made DYOM mission for GTA San Andreas, it's that bad in my opinion. At least Joe's DLC was tied to the series lore and had somewhat more interesting mission designs.

And Watch Dogs (PS3) Ultra rare platinum nr 232 & 233https://psnprofiles.com/Tomy_IV/log?rarity=ultra-rare&type=platinum Pox Nora is a Card/deck builder game. It has a big learning curve at first as there is so many Cards and decks to understand how to use correctly. But eventually i managed it and got the plat 🤩
Popular Post mega-tallica
#273 - Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth + 100% Enjoyment: 4/5 - Always loved the Yakuza games and all its whacky, weird glory and this game is certainly no exception. To have an entire new map to explore (finally) in Hawaii was a huge positive. Kamurocho and Ijinchu are staples (and the other Yakuza map they've always used that I can't remember now) but they've gotten quite old having to run around the same map for what? 8-9 games now? It was nice to play a Yakuza game where you don't already have the entire map memorized before you even play it. The story is a long one that, to be honest, really slogs on. By Chapter 9, I didn't care anymore and was skipping all cutscenes and dialogue and later read a synopsis of the ending story online. Being longer =/= being better all the time and I would say it's definitely the case here. As with all many of the Yakuza games, there's always a sub-mode and/or minigame you need to complete. This one has the Sujimon League which is a spoof on Pokemon and is pretty fun and doesn't overstay its welcome. And then there's the whole Dondoko Island section which does the opposite and I didn't enjoy at all. I can see what they were going for, design your own amusement park except it wasn't anything at all like Roller Coaster Tycoon or any of those other fun park builders. It was more grind out resources, collect random fish and bugs, build random things (literally, all the items you build are just household items and buildings and that's supposed to be a resort I guess?), slowly raise your experience and level and eventually after 6-7 hours of doing nothing but this, you'll complete Dondoko Island. I hope this mode doesn't become a running theme in future Yakuza games. The only positive for doing it is it rewards with the most OP attack in the game, the Dondoko Laser which will make the rest of your playthrough and Legend mode a lot easier. Difficulty: 2/5 - As long as you don't mind deviating from the story and grinding in the dungeons to get XP every now and then, there's nothing difficult about the game whatsoever. It's so much more balanced than the first Like A Dragon where you had to spend dozens of hours in the dungeons grinding levels for jobs to have any chance at the True Final Millennium Tower. Luckily, this game does not put you through the same torment. You'll still be grinding, don't get me wrong, but not nearly to the extent you had to in the first game. The Dondoko Laser attack one-shots most encounters on Legend, combine it with other area attacks from other characters and you'll breeze right through. NG+ on Legend is easy as long you enter it around Lv. 80 or so and have all jobs at at least 50-60, you'll breeze through. You'll be around level 90-92 by the Finale Chapter which makes the final boss very doable even though he's Lv. 95 and hits hard. My setup was all the default jobs for all characters even though the Chef job is very OP with a proper setup but it's not needed. Kiryu's crew was Nanba, Seonhee, and Zhao. All with their best weapons at +50 power. Seonhee is an Assassin who can do good damage and then inherit the Geodancer healing skills and you'll be unstoppable. Give all the male characters powerful electric attacks and Essence of Champagne Wave from the Host job. Also helps to give them the magic boost skill as well to give Kiryu's Essence of the Dragon even more powerful. For Kasuga; pretty much the exact same setup. Chitose will be like Seonhee and be your healer/buffer and her default job does good damage too with a maxed weapon. Tomi and Adachi just copy Nanba and Zhao from Kiryu's crew. Optimally, have your leaders and healers wear the Wizard's Hat so your MP gets replenished after each fight and you'll rarely ever have to even use items at all during the Legend run.
Popular Post NEOITH-
Platinum #27: Classified France '44 1st one in the world to obtain it! What can I say about this game. I bought it the day of release, since I am a WWII fan and would recommend it to anyone who does like strategic games. The platinum is not difficult at all, only Elite mode requires some patience, since some missions took me 2/3 hours to complete, specially if you'are aiming to get 5 stars and do all objectives for supplies, which I'd recommend, since you need the best gear in the game for later missions. Ended a bit burned from Elite mode and another full Recruit playtrought, to be honest, specially if you start in Elite like me. The game has some minor bugs, like the framerate drops in some later missions, where it's full of enemies, app closing when you're makinga quick-save... apart from that, nothing special. Marseille Mafioso trophy is actually very luck based in my opinion, since there is no way to check what gear you gonna get based on your decissions, plus only one character in the game can use the thompson 45 and use the full suit. If anyone wants to start it and needs some advice, feel free to shoot me a message! Definetly a 10 of 10, super enjoyable game! Popular Post ninja-star95
Been lazy as fuck sorry so here it goes #94 My Hero One's Justice Probably one of the worst anime arena fighter plats I have done. Nah actually it is. Boring grindy trophies(looking at you Character and Player Customization trophies). Boring floaty ass broken gameplay. Mission Mode can eat my ass. Doesn't help I stopped giving a fuck about MHA years ago. With how bad this plat was, I refuse to play the second game. Only positive thing I can say is I am done with it for good Now for something less bitchy and more positive #95 Tekken 8 [*mwah*] Tekken my beloved One of my favorite fighting game series Man, this is easily one of my favorite fighting games of all time, and was a fun platinum. Excellent story mode (by fighting game standards), new and improved gameplay, godtier music, better online and more SP content. This definitely brought Tekken to greater heights. The plat itself was easy as hell as per usual not much to say. My Tekken 100%/Platinum streak remains perfect ^^ P.S Spoiler Reina best girl Edited March 13 by ninja-star95

Popular Post Swotam
#235 - Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4) The Original Gangster 15% Rare This one was on the "huh, that looks interesting" list for a long time before I finally got around to checking it out. Originally released on PS2, the game was fully remade for PS4 in 2020 and turned out very nicely. In the game, which takes place in the 1930's, you play as mafia member Tommy Angelo as you proceed through mission-based gameplay, interspersed with free roam sections where you can drive around the city, exploring the map while finding a variety of collectibles. The game is third-person and is very similar in style to Grand Theft Auto titles in its gameplay mechanics and storytelling. The story is solid and well written, with likeable characters and an interesting plot that should appeal to fans of mafia movies. The remake itself features substantial graphical improvements on par with what you'd expect from a PS4 release, as well as many quality of life improvements such as the ability to skip driving to destinations during missions which can save you a decent amount of time. The Platinum isn't complicated, with the primary challenge being completion of the game on Classic difficulty, in particular a car race during one of the missions where you must win to continue the story. Vehicle handling on Classic difficulty can be quite challenging at times, especially when driving at high speed, so winning the Classic race legitimately does require a lot of practice and patience unless you resort to <cough> less sportsmanlike conduct in order to secure victory. Beyond that things are generally straightforward, and like most hard-mode difficulties it's mostly a matter of proceeding through the missions carefully so you don't find yourself dying repeatedly. Otherwise everything is easy and trouble-free, with the bulk of the collectibles being accessible through the Free Roam mode and any mission-based collectibles you may have missed accessible through mission replay. There's nothing particularly arduous here, and you should be able to get everything done in short order without much trouble. The game was part of the February 2023 lineup for PS+ Essential so if you subscribe there's a good chance you have it in your library. If you enjoy GTA-style games then Mafia: Definitive Edition is definitely worth checking out.

Popular Post UK-Danny-93
283 - Helios 13.31% Rare 15,000th Trophy Great game. I've been sitting on the last surveys for a couple of weeks for the milestone platinum. Procedurally generated collectibles need to be better implemented though. If you only had to find 75% of them or something it would be a lot better. Wouldn't let it put you off the game if you're interested though. Lots of fun and very doable.
Popular Post Biscoito18
#240 - Ravenous Devils Honest work Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: 51.36% (PSNP) / 15.3% (PSN) An excellent business/horror/comedy game. The closer we'll ever get to a decent Sweeney Todd game, I'm afraid. The gameplay loop is addictive, the animations are grotesque in a good way (especially when Hildred is cutting beef), and the plot constantly surprises you. The ending is left open but I like to think that everyone died and went to hell. #241 - Pumpkin Jack Official Groupie Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Rarity: 55.94% (PSNP) / 19.2% (PSN) Some minigames are annoying, especially the gift-throwing one that requires a bit of luck, and the final boss features a surprising increase in difficulty. What I liked most were the sidekicks, especially the anxious crow. NEXT: The Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered Trilogy! I'm just finishing TR3 and I'll pop the 3 plats one after the other! Popular Post Dauersack
Orcs Must Die! 3 # 77: Rifts Protected A somewhat lesser sequel of a great series. As a veteran of the series who has played the first 2 games on PC, and then was one of the few insane players who got the platinum for Orcs Must Die Unchained, which is still my rarest trophy to date, I have to say this game captured a lot of what made the older games good, but the new cast is very weak and the trap balance is atrocious, making it lose points with me. This game was fun to play for the most part, piss easy admittedly except for the dlcs, so easy that I started doing Rift Lord difficulty long before half my traps were properly upgraded, but still pretty fun, classic orc slaughtering action with mostly the same traps as the past games had, with a few additions. The DLC was a lot harder than the base campaigns, more exotic enemies, one particular siege map being so nonsensical and sudden of a difficulty spike that I have not yet finished it with 5 skulls as of now and I am beginning to doubt that the par time is even doable anymore at this point. Some of the traps are stupidly good, others are damn near useless, same with the weapons and trinkets, some clearly and undeniably being far superior to others, which I can live with as I can still use the crap traps for shits and giggles sometimes, but it leaves a bit of a bitter taste. What I can't live with so easily are these two lazy rip off characters that have been put in front and center for no reason, and the new redcon antagonist that is as cliche as it can get. Their dialogue is pretty annoying, and not in a fun way, their design is lazy, they are obvious copies from the original duo that makes a return too, which was the big saving grace as I was able to switch to the more bearable characters long before my time with the game was over. A few new enemy types and the same kind of story as in past games made for a decent experience, honestly I was just glad that I had an excuse to slaughter orcs again so I am probably more forgiving than I'd normally be, even if the sequel left a lot to be desired, it still was overall a fun time for me. Now off to hopefully complete the last map with 5 skulls, somehow.
