Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #94 Alan Wake II Sisu Fun: 9/10 Difficulty:3/10 Time: 28 hours Last year I bought Alan Wake II to play in 2024 and it did not disappoint me, while I liked the first game, I loved this sequel. Let's just talk about my individual point: I don't play a lot of horror games, let alone get the platinum with them, but I had a lot of fun with this one, I thought that while this wasn't as scary as other horror games I've played, the horror vibes it gives are fantastic. The music of this game is amazing, the Old Gods of Asgard are awesome, especially with Dark Ocean Summoning and Herald of Darkness, but almost every song was a banger, I also loved that every chapter end had its own unique song. Having two main characters was great, Alan was as good as in the first game, but I feel like talking about Saga is important. When I saw her, I thought that she was just an Alan replacement, but I was wrong, her character, her story and her weapon arsenal were great. I like that she and Alan were super important. The bosses were really cool, I did have trouble with a few of them, but that's fine. I learned from my mistakes and managed to win. I do feel like I've said everything I wanted to say, this game has been amazing, I can't wait to see what's next for Remedy because at this point I am completely hooked with them. Sadly no platinum screenshot, there was one but it's the first one that makes me go "Yeah, that screenshot sucks"

Popular Post disaster500
#106 - Grand Theft Auto V - 1.97% Personal Difficulty - 4/10 Time Played - ~125 hours GTA V is a niche hidden indie gem. In all seriousness, I played through the story mode a few years ago and had a great time, but didn't bother going for the plat as the remaining trophies sounded tedious. But recently, Rockstar announced they were removing the Rockstar Editor from the PS4 version of GTA V, so I hopped on and grabbed those DLC trophies just in case (Rockstar updated the requirements, they are still obtainable, fortunately). Remembering how much I enjoyed the story, I gave the plat a shot, and it ended up being surprisingly fun. The remaining single player trophies consisted of many collectibles (which are some of the laziest collectibles I've ever seen in a game btw), getting 100% completion, and getting 70 gold medals in the main/side missions for doing all optional challenges. None of these were particularly difficult, just a bit time-consuming. Next was the online mode. I much prefer singleplayer games, so I wasn't really looking forward to playing GTA Online, but it ended up being decent once you rank up a bit. The experience is rough when you first start, you have no idea what you're supposed to do, you have no good weapons/vehicles, and every mission you encounter seemingly requires a $1.5M building just to start it. But it's OK once you know what sort of stuff you can do. I did get very lucky, getting to rank 100 is supposed to take 20-25 hours of grinding, but I got it in less than 3 hours thanks to The City 8 race exploit (which lasted for less than a day online). I don't know if I'll get the 100%. I'll probably run through some of the remaining heists at least once for their trophies, but I don't care about DLC trophies that much in any game really. Elitist and Masterminds also seem to require team co-ordination, something I'm also not a fan of. Idk, I'll see what happens but I'm not too bothered. I'm very glad to add the plat of this great game to the list though. Edited March 14 by disaster500

Popular Post Leon Castle
#260 Street Fighter 6 14th Mar 2024 The latest SF and the easiest. The only hard part is getting 10 wins in Tournaments, with some training and luck, it can done. Did 100% World Tour, it was hard at times but after getting best gear and maxed it. It got easier. The JP boss was not that bad, I did use run and Spiral Arrow tactics on him and ended him with Delta Red Assault. I save the last trophy for Fighting Ground then Akuma and the Monster Hunter Pass is out in April.
Popular Post thorryhartmann
PowerWash simulator 100% Time spent 128. All I have to say about this game.. Fabulous game when you have had a long day at work and you have a TV series on the second screen. Be aware that almost all missions have a trophy where you have to wash something first or last. then you don't have to wash the same track several times. Popular Post Redgrave
#305: Platinum Trophy - LA Noire (PS4) If there was a game I would say is lightning in a bottle, LA Noire is definitely it. I was very excited to play the remaster since I loved the game on PS3 and playing the remaster felt like experiencing it for the first time all over again. I don't think I can praise it enough and I think it's up there with one of the best RockStar games. I know the production history of this game is rough due to bad working conditions and such but I am glad that despite all that it got made anyway even if it did pretty much end Team Bondi. For the game being lightning in a bottle I really think that the casting and everyone that worked on it was basically like everything falling into place at the right time. They did fantastic recreating a 1947 Los Angelas to where I can practically feel the atmosphere and I don't see how this could have been as great if even one of the characters were cast by someone else. I only know of Cole Phelps's actor being in the AMC show Mad Men which I very briefly watched once but his role as Cole is perfect and despite being known as the funny screaming guy I think Cole is also one of RockStar's best characters because like John Marston or Niko Bellic, Cole is a well made but flawed character. When I say flawed I don't mean badly written, but rather through the flashbacks and other bits in the story, Cole has a troubled past to where he basically wanted to join the military for an ego boost and the experiences he went through after that really shook him and brought him back down to Earth to the point where despite getting the praise he initially wanted he winds up trying to awkwardly move on from the topic. I think my favorite moment is when he's talking to Elsa about why he chose to be a detective and despite her insisting that he won't win the war on narcotics he says "It's about trying to make the world a better place" which felt like he really meant it after everything he went through. I also like John Noble's role as Leland Monroe. He does the two-faced businessman role very well and it's funny to think of Denethor from Lord of the Rings basically trying to do a massive insurance fraud to embezzle money from the government. Along with that are the partners Cole gets assigned on each desk. It's hard to say which one is my favorite since they are all interesting characters. Bekowsky is a good starting character that deals in the more mundane cases that make the tone more humorous and then Rusty is a funny cynical drunkard. But once it gets to Roy, he's a funny scumbag type but he shows how dirty the work can be, and then the final partner Herschel is more a tired old man but he winds up having a heart of gold and I like how he warms up to Cole despite the bad rep hanging over his head. Everything about LA Noire just makes it a timeless classic for me. Some say the facial capture they used didn't age well but I think it helps give the game its identity and helps make the characters stand out the way they do since none of them truly look the same. I think the only thing about it which can't really be helped is that the characters' hair look a bit strange but again I can't really fault the game for it since it was more of a technical limitation. There isn't much to say about the trophies since they are the same in the PS3 version. They did add two more sets of collectibles but they weren't that bad to find. Surprisingly, Auto Fanatic didn't take near as long as I thought it would have and getting the film reels did take a while but they also went by quickly. The one trophy I was dreading again was Bulletproof Windshield in the Nicholson Electroplating DLC since I remember that one being really frustrating when I first tried it but this time it wasn't that bad and only took a couple of tries. Other than that, most of it is getting five stars on each case which I did make a guide for and used it for this playthrough. I wound up revamping a lot of the guide where I fixed some mistakes here and there but also explained certain things in more detail as well as included more details to certain sections. I actually had fun reworking the guide on it while playing, and I even replayed a few cases to make sure everything worked right. Again, I really love this game and it was great playing it again. If I get the chance to stack it again I definitely will. Sadly I know the chance of it getting a sequel are pretty much right next to zero since RockStar want to focus more on GTA which is why I hope some other studio makes a spiritual successor to it. If it were to get a spiritual successor I would love it if it had the same dynamic Cole did with his partners. It also wouldn't have to, but I would love it if the game started out with typical investigations but then every other case involves B-movie schlock like mad scientists, haunted mansions, and swamp creatures while having the Cole character take it seriously. I also just want to hear the Herschel or Rusty character say "We can't shoot him Cole, he's behind some kind of force field!" when trying to apprehend a mad scientist or they encounter an evil jazz musician that can control minds with his music so the Roy character can say "Aahh! He's scrambling my mind with his music!" All I'm saying is I have some ideas. It also makes me wonder how that Agent game could have gone. Maybe everyone else including RockStar forgot about that but I sure didn't.

Popular Post BlinkWinkel
#261 - Kizuna AI - Touch the Beat! (PS4) This game went under my radar since it didn't get a physical PS4 release in the west, but instead the Japanese physical version includes English text, so when I found that out I decided to import it. Overall a really fun rhythm game with great songs, just really short. It only has 15 songs. VR mode was really cool for watching the concert style music videos, but I had an easier time playing the songs on my TV since the PSVR lens often fog up. For most VR games I can just pause and wipe the lens off, but in a rhythm game, that's enough to instantly ruin a combo. The difficulty was just perfect! Not insanely hard like Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session or other rhythm games that require getting perfects on Extreme difficulty, and not ridiculously easy either like Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone which you get all trophies just by "not failing" the songs on easy difficulty. In Kizuna AI, we need to clear all songs with S rank on easy and normal difficulties (which means only missing about less than 5% of the notes, which is very doable). And get 100 perfects, which can be done on the easiest song on easy difficulty so it's more grindy than hard. No need to even touch hard difficulty. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10
Popular Post Viper
#350 Ghost of Tsushima (PS5) Living Legend Thought I was absolutely flying through this playthrough, but it some how took me 3 days longer to Plat it than the PS4 version back in 2021. I gave a longer review for the PS4 version when I got that Plat, so I don't want to rehash things I already said before, but this is still a blast to play. I was worried early on that I might end up feeling that fatigue from playing it before, that sense of "yeah, I've done this before". But honestly the game felt fresh again, and I forgot a lot of the finer details. Not even bored with it now, ready to jump into the Iki Island expansion. I bought the DLC for the PS4 version months after I got the Plat, and just found it hard to jump back in, so I'll get it done now on PS5 while the game is fresh in my mind, might even try out Legends Mode which I didn't bother with last time (I know most people say it was great, but it felt like another one of those unneeded MP modes in a SP game). But this is definitely one of my favorites to come out of the major PlayStation exclusives (that are now mostly on PC), the story is brutal, tragic, heartfelt. All the characters are likable...except maybe Kenji, he felt like the dimwitted comic relief character in a drab, serious setting with very little room for him. Khotun Khan was menacing, smart and dastardly, the actor playing him ate up every scene he was in. I'm guessing the Shogun will be the enemies in the sequel, perhaps? These authority figures branding you a traitor even though you sacrificed everything to save your people...Jin will possibly be doing something to restore his name while they hunt you. Can't wait...rumors saying it could be officially announced this year. Amazing game, worth the replay.

Popular Post Smaxoy
#151, 152, 153 What a journey that was..... I rarely play games that connected to each other buy one story like Metro trilogy, Telltale's The Walking Dead and so on, so on of the sales i've pick up Mass Effect Legendary edition to give it a try. I didn't know much before playing aside of the whole Reaper-Harvest concept, Shepard and some other characters and ME 3 ending fail. But man, that were hell of the games, 1 week and trilogy completed, the last time I was that involved in the game and It's characters that much was RDR 2 back in 2018. Luara, Tali, Wrex, Joker, Miranda, Mordin and many of them are pillars on which ME stands, and I'll remember many of them, and Shepard of course. Solid story in which u can see your decisions matter and can be traced, even poor side missions in ME 1 can influence two other games in expected moments. Now I'm up to play Andromeda and replay trilogy on Insanity, wish me luck) Hardly recommend this game to any, who didn't play yet, this game will steal your heard and your tears, if u mess up somewhere (Rannoch moment) Edited March 15 by Smaxoy

But really, this was no fun. The 3/10 is literally just for the story related trophies. The rest is a miserable grind that took me over 100 hours to complete. Luckily you can grind the levels with an AI partner. but it's still so damn miserable and absolutely not worth it. For anyone curious, this is a screenshot of my stats the moment I finally earned the platinum. Popular Post Nauticus87
Platinum #1,000! Platted: 3x First achiever: 2x Fastest achiever: 3x My favourite game of 2024 so far, a true hidden gem with a grand total of 37 owners on PSNP over the three stacks. I've no idea why this game is unknown, it's brilliant; a precision platformer with some shooting on top, varied level design with new things thrown at you in each of the 8 levels (including one of the best handling water levels I've ever played in a game), brutal difficulty at times but plentiful checkpoints (at least on normal). The trophy list is great and really puts your skills to the test, requiring three playthroughs of each level - normal, hard with less checkpoints, and a speedrun mode - as well as a couple of really tough miscellaneous tasks in the form of 100% accuracy in a level, killing enemies in certain ways, and completing a level on impossible mode (no checkpoints) while collecting all collectibles in that level. I've no doubts if this was a popular platformer it would be an ultra-rare platinum. I've known this would be my 1,000th since I did the two PS4 stacks, I just needed to get a PS5, which I finally got around to. I also planned on setting as fast a time as possible and I'm so proud of what I managed to achieve here with doing it in 9 hours (9.5 hours real time). For reference: my first time getting the platinum took 18 hours, second took 11.5 hours. Unfortunately the PS5 stack does seem to have a few technical hiccups that I didn't find present on the PS4 version, namely the audio glitching horrendously at times (to the point where it would sometimes break and go silent, requiring a restart), the menu no longer functioning (either restart or keep going in and out of the menu until it complies), and strangest of all: some platforms that are visible in the PS4 version are invisible in the PS5 version, making those respective areas a lot more difficult if you don't already know what you're doing. But it says a lot about the game that I wasn't put off by any of these problems and still loved going through it all again. I would recommend if playing it yourself to go for one of the PS4 stacks, though they have some minor issues too, namely mid-room checkpoints sometimes not respawning everything correctly when you lose and putting you in an impossible situation (fixed by resetting checkpoint, you might lose a minute of progress at most). Any platformer fans need to check this one out, it's the only way I might see a sequel!
Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#124: Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends True Awesomeness (0.76% - Ultra Rare) Earn every Trophy in the game Never watched or cared about Kung Fu Panda, but this game has several easy Ultra Rare Trophies, so here I am. 🤷🏻♀️ It was given on Ps Plus back in December 2017 but at the time I didn't bother redeeming it, so I had to purchase it on eBay: not a cheap purchase since it's been delisted and physical copies are expensive, but whatever it takes I guess. Thankfully, my best friend had redeemed the game back in 2017, so I boosted the Online portion with him: it takes around 10 hours of time, and it simply consists of quitting when the match begins so the opponent gets Xp points. The only mode that requires a bit of skill is the Tournament of Legends mode, which is basically the Arcade mode, with three lifes available: you need to beat it with all the 20 characters available, this was a bit of a pain as some are terrible and have terrible moves, but eventually I made it. Other than that, there is nothing: that mode does offer an intro (Which is the same for every character) and a short line at the end after the last match, but lacks aj actual story mode and other modes you may expect to find a fighting game. So yeah, a mediocre game, but I guess it may be funny if played with friends. Out of my 124 Platinums, this one, with its 0.76% rarity, is my third rarest, only behind Fantasy Strike (0.74%) and WWE 2K18 (0.54%).
