Popular Post MatCauthon
#119 Infamous First Light Noble Achievement 29.57% - Uncommon I decided to jump on the bandwagon and earn January's most popular platinum! There's not too much to say about this little side story in the inFamous universe. It gives a short prequel to Second Son, explaining how Fetch got into the situation that she was in at the onset of that game. The gameplay is pretty much the same as SS with slightly altered powers. All of the collectibles are easy and there aren't too many of them. The majority of your time will be spent in the 5 arena battles. Even those are not too difficult once you learn that that you can survive indefinitely by spamming the missile attacks on the Survival modes. On the Hostage modes, make those guys your priority and spam missiles in between to keep your multiplier up. Once it gets overwhelming, you should have your vortex power charged up to clean house.
Popular Post Rowdi
Been a minute since I posted here. #103 Dead Nation: Vita Romero Would Be Proud I enjoyed the PS3 version and the PS4 version was even better than that. I figured that since I enjoyed the game so much and already had the other two plats, I may as well do the Vita version also. The campaign for the Vita version is by far the easiest because there are less zombies to deal with. However, I had to grind about 25k kills after all was said and done to get the 53k kill trophy. The dlc was more or a pain this time around too as I found it hard to get the multiplier and combo trophies with less on screen zombies. Big thanks to M-Easy for the Vita pointers guide as the regular strategies don't work. #104 Need for Speed: Most Wanted Vita No More Wanted I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this level of difficulty from a NFS. I think some of my problem was that this game was originally meant to be played on the PS3. The Vita's smaller screen made it hard to see oncoming traffic and I can contribute many wrecks to that. I also had problems with some of the game mechanics where my car would crash if I was using a side rail to straighten up or take a corner tight enough that it looked like I made it, but there'd be an invisible boundary that would cause me to crash anyway. Also, the police were way too aggressive. At times I would just lay the Vita down and let myself be busted because it was quicker to watch the unskipable cutscene then it was to try to evade pursuit. To top all these problems off, the game crashed at least a dozen times. I'm really glad this was free cause I'd be pissed if I paid for it. Big thanks to Stevieboy1975 for being a top notch co-op partner for both games.

Popular Post daftprophet
#75 / 4500th trophy - 1/21/2014 Final Fantasy X HD Completion Obtain all available trophies So this is probably one of my all-time favorite games ever and quite possibly my favorite FF. When Squeenix announced they were releasing this as an HD remaster, I was sold instantly. I pre-ordered the collector’s edition and everything. I did almost everything back on the PS2 version…about 10 times or so, therefore I knew I’d have no trouble doing it again while experiencing one of my favorite games with a little remake, and that it was! The OST, visuals, and gameplay are all a little different from before and mostly in a good way (minus a few songs, IMO). The visuals are absolutely fantastic if you set them side by side with the original (which I did ) They also made it the international version which had some super bosses not originally in the US version on PS2, so that’s something I though was awesome! Not much more that I can say other than I did play the shit out of it until I got to the endgame, decided to take a break, and come back to it to make it a special platinum milestone! 10/10 would platinum again if released on PS4 with a separate list. WARNING: I didn’t even think this could happen, but I will explain it right here to hopefully ease anyone else’s worries about the delay in time from last trophy to platinum because it took me by surprise as well. I’m going to assume this happens with ANY cross save game with the same platinum list. Since I have it for both PS3 and Vita (which is awesome) I was able to play it on the go, the problem is this, I had a few trophies before the platinum. Was away from my PS3 so worked on fighting Penance on my Vita, beat him, transferred the save over when I got home BUT DID NOT SYNC TROPHIES. Then, while I was playing on my PS3 and finished the sphere grid trophy AND watched the Eternal Calm video (thinking I was fin) realized that the platinum didn’t pop…weird I thought. I did everything and got all trophies. Synced my PS3 to the server to see that I didn’t defeat Penance…booted up my Vita, synced trophies, platinum unlocked but it was like 6 minutes or so after AND I DIDN’T EVEN GET TO SEE IT POP!!! (though I guess I can when I go back to my PS3) tl;dr – there may be a delay in your platinum time if you don’t sync your trophies between the PS3/PS4/Vita when earning the last trophy required for a platinum. You have been warned. Edited January 21, 2015 by daftprophet
Popular Post Senbon Kaguya
#91 Hitman 2 Silent Assassin Perfect Assassin Unlock all trophies. Sooo.. after FINALLY beating this game, I'm so happy to have it platinumed. I've never played this Hitman game before and it wasn't too bad, I think I prefer Contracts and Blood Money more.. a bunch of this game's levels were huge! Last game to platinum in the trilogy will be Blood Money.

Popular Post Dante_196
# 18: Deadpool Okay, you can sell the game now Earn all other trophies My first plat of 2015, a very fun game, the Ultra Violence difficulty made me rage several times, but I had a lot of fun with this game, a must have for all the Deadpool fans.
Popular Post dontwaketheKIDS
#69The Wolf Among Us (PS4) Full Moon Telltale's best game to date, easily. Great story with perfect pacing, fantastic Fables backstory, collectibles based on moral choices, and the game ran incredibly smooth (quite unlike my TWD:S2 Vita experience). If the comics are anywhere near as good as this game they may have a new reader.

Popular Post amebapiko
Show Thumb Respect Velocity Ultra I was meaning to start this one for a while but got delayed, I like skill based platinums that don't take too much time. For me this was no cakewalk, It was a test of determination and perseverance, it really did hurt my hands at times, especially getting all the perfects . I'm glad to have achieved this one, possibly one of my top 3 hardest...

Popular Post madbuk
#89 - The Walking Dead I was skeptical about this game at first. Zombies aren't really my thing, and it had way too many parallels to TLoU (which I hated). I had been meaning to try out a "new" Telltale Games game for a while though (new as in, not the old style like Back to the Future/Sam & Max) and this game was on sale. After days of contemplation on whether to get this (£6) or The Wolf Among Us (£10) during the sale, I chose this as it was the first and the one I'd heard the most praise for. O_O It was amazing. The story was gripping, and I found myself always so eager to get back home from college to continue playing from where I had left off. I always felt like the characters were in danger, and I had no idea what to expect in terms of who was going to make it through to the end. I did encounter a major spoiler when I tried looking up whether the characters in this game were a part of the show, which ruined the end a bit, but otherwise this was a very fun platinum to obtain. There isn't much gameplay to be had, but I loved the decision making aspect of it, although sometimes it felt like the timer was a bit too quick, and I often didn't have time to read all the options and make a decision in time. I hope this is improved in sequels, although I guess it's realistic. tl;dr Get this game. It's amazing.
Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#131 Wolfenstein: The New Order I got this game from my brother and thought "I'll give it a try". So I started playing and couldn't stop, even while getting my butt kicked on the hardest difficultly I just had to keep going. This game was surprisingly fun and has a decent story as well, definitely worth giving a try if you get a chance.
TimmyTurnersDad6
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception It won't show up on my ps3 for some reason, and I don't plat games or finish to 100% completion often; but I Know I saw that plat flash across my screen. I collected all the treasures, and did all the trophies that were in the campaign.
Popular Post TheFinalEmblem
Platinum #21- Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Earned every other trophy in the game Yet another amazing game, just like it's predecessor. I loved this game even more than the first, the characters were all likable, and the investigations and trials were even tougher. Everything about this game, I think, was better than the first.
Popular Post LukeWarm115
#82 - Uncharted: Golden Abyss Even without Naughty Dog, this was still a great game. With the exception of a weaker story, this was just as good as the console titles. I liked having many different types of collectibles because they kept things interesting. One major problem I had though was the boss battles. QTE's are bad enough, but touch screen QTE's when the screen was often unresponsive was just annoying. Hope to see what Bend Studios is making for PS4 soon.

Popular Post LA00_LA0
#48 Akiba's Trip Advent of the Akiba God Akiba's Trip takes you to electric town Akihabara (Akiba for short), a haven for Otakus and gamers alike. In the game, you are an otaku wherein you have to defend dear Akiba from Synthisters (vampires), in order to do so you have to bare them naked and expose them to sunlight by stripping them lol. The visual recreation of Akihabara is top notch, you really feel as if you're there. Going for the platinum is not a painful task, be warned however I screwed up on one playthrough due to an inventory bug.Once you see the words "You have only X amount of space in your closet" it's time to start selling or synthesizing the non-stackable weapons/clothes else your game would freeze whenever you enter a store or when you chain strip a lot of enemies. There's no patch yet for this bug, so be wary! Popular Post Lady Blanc
Trophy Master (English PS3 version) This would've taken about 2-3 hours less if not for 2 loading screen images refusing to pop up when I wanted them too. My final clear time was something like 47 hours (in-game), so that tells you how much of a break I took from it since it took me over a year to get the platinum. Just the Japanese version & English Vita version to go now, but they can wait, I'll go for Project DIVA F 2nd's platinum first. Only 2 songs gave me any sort of trouble on Hard, Nyanyanyanyanya! (Damn fluctuating tempo ) & Negaposi*Continues (I had to actually resort to the Combo Safeguard help item to get through it). One little tip in regard to getting DP easily, I found doing What Do You Mean!? on Normal with the Perfectionist challenge item was my best bet, I almost always got an Excellent, which would net me 36400 DP. That song is essentially one of the easiest on Normal, it doesn't even have any double notes to hit. A definite choice for rhythm game fans who love a challenge in my opinion, I just had 5 problems with it; No English translation of the song's lyrics (Thankfully Project DIVA F 2nd does for all but 1 song though) Not enough Luka songs. Not enough Kaito songs. Not enough Rin songs. Not enough Meiko songs. Edited January 23, 2015 by Lady Blanc
Popular Post Shazarul1985
Trophy #1000 Platinum #20 RESIDENT EVIL Platinum Splattin' 'Em! I really like this game in the Resident Evil series since I bought the early Gamecube version a decade ago. I played this game a lot and beat all challenges it threw at me long time before trophy system are introduced into gaming. So, getting platinum of this game is not really a challenge for me. I hope Capcom could remake second and third installments just like this.
