Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #153: BROKEN AGE Wow - is there any more overrated developer than Tim Schafer? Broken Age starts off pretty good, and Act 1 ends with a bang. Then, Act 2 ruins the whole thing. the trophies really suck, too (a speed run trophy? in a point-and-click? good thinking!). Still, the plat was very easy (with a guide, of course - without it, trophies like "No Retreat!" wouldn't even make sense).

Popular Post aquartertothree
#88: Mad Max Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 5 or 6/10 (probably a solid 7 if it was less glitchy) Hoo boy, this was one of my more stressful platinums. Nothing was particularly difficult but having to constantly keep an eye on challenges/stats while dealing with other random issues that popped up frequently (fast travel would stop working until i rebooted, I'd fall through the map, it would say a storm was approaching but then one wouldn't happen, etc.) was a pain. I didn't realize that the scavenging locations were a thing that glitched for some until I was like 80% through the main plot with a decent chunk of open world stuff accomplished so thankfully I avoided that. Overall though I think this can be put with games like Fallout 3 and similar titles that I'd enjoy a whole lot more if the glitches weren't so constant. I'd probably be less forgiving if the framerate was all over the place like some other games or if I experienced any of the game breaking glitches. I had Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on PS3 next in my gamefly queue and it shipped before I finished this but I really don't want anything to do with sandbox/open world titles for awhile now. Popular Post Ala-Arska
The Order: 1886 The Grail Collect all Trophies "Even though I walk through the valley of shadow and death, I shall fear no evil... for I'm the meanest motherf**ker in the whole f**king valley." So this is the game that divides opinions like Moses the Red Sea... And before I get too biblical ( I'll leave that to Sam L. Jackson and Pulp Fiction), I'll get this one straight out of the way: I liked The Order: 1886. The visuals are gorgeous to say the least. The more-or-less fictional olden London never looked better, I found myself just gazing to horizon more than I could bare to admit. Voice acting is top notch. It's professional, nobody's cheesing it, and especially Galahad the Knight (Rider) sounds just right. Nailed it! Gameplay is fun and consistent for the most part. I'm not the biggest cheerleader of QTE's (well, who is?), so less that and more kiss kiss, bang bang next time The story is pretty much molded in a way of a Hollywood movie. Clearly the developers left room for possible sequels/prequels, but overall a very cinematic experience. What this game lacks is length. It's only a few hours long (short?), and even during that time it feels occasionally like you're watching a film instead of actually playing. But, my limited time with TO: 1886 was filled with enjoyment, and that's all I wanted from it in the first place. I really hope there would be a sequel to this, only with more meat this time. For fans of 3rd person shooters, eye candy, good stories and Sherlock Holmesian London, The Order might just be the thing for you. Just wait until it gets cheaper, though My RNG is ready to rock out with its co....., um, block out, and looks like the winter is coming! But it's already January, so duh...Game of Thrones (PS4) is up next Edited January 11, 2016 by Ala-Arska

Popular Post SergeantMalon
#8: Max Payne 3 Platinum TrophyUnlock All Max Payne 3 Trophies Well, this is a platinum I was not expecting to get. This plat took me about 157 hours to get (according to my Social Club stats). I thought the game was fun and challenging. Beating the game the first time on Hard helped me get used to how the game works. Making Old School and Hardcore easier then most people make them out to be. NYM is easy. The only hard part of it was Chapter 13. Why it's 2% UR is beyond me. NYMHC, however, took me a while to beat. It just revolves around overcoming stupid cheap deaths and glitches. When I did beat it, It felt so satisfying. I liked the MP, but there are too many damn people using Sawn Off shotguns. My favorite mode is Payne Killer, but it's deserted. I just did not see myself playing it for that long and just used the Score Attack method of gaining XP. This will probably stay as my proudest platinum for a while. (Unless I get P4A, but I don't see that happening) Overall, It's a fun game, but it felt like the platinum requirements are dragged out too long IMO.
Popular Post LeetWolf2
#116 - Sound Shapes (PS4) 32.63% - Uncommon You've Gone Platinum Complete all Death Mode and Beat School levels. Just an auto-pop Platinum and 100% for this one. Still a great game, but this platinum is soured by the fact that despite my efforts, it popped in seven seconds and is now permanently my "Fastest Platinum" on my profile. (Which sucks) #117 - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS3) 26.64% - Uncommon The Key to San Andreas Unlock all trophies. Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Plat Time: 29 Hours, 13 Minutes This was one of my favourite games I played growing up, along with GTAIII and Vice City. Unlike most people who seem to love Vice City the most, I always preferred San Andreas. Playing through this game again with all the additions of the mobile version and it being in HD was amazing. The graphics honestly don't hold up that well (if you disagree, compare it with other AAA games of the time and you'll see what I mean) everything else s still fantastic. The gameplay, the depth, the amount of stuff to do, the light RPG elements, the vehicle variety, the story and characters, etc. The platinum itself is just a copy of the Xbox Achievements (but with better images) but it actually introduced me to elements I wasn't aware was even included in the game. The platinum was only tough in the sense of dealing with glitches and crashes, and the lack of an autosave feature outside of missions. On the subject of it being a port of the mobile version and it's additions; I think they're great. I'm aware I'm in the minority here, but the menus in the original PS2 release were pretty bland and the loading times between selecting options could be a pain at times. Example: buying clothes. In the original, you'd have to choose your item (not knowing what it looks like), wait for it to load forever, then see CJ check himself out and then see it looks crappy then repeat the process. With the updated menus you get an idea what the item will look like and you can easily (& quickly) back out to check something else out.Haven't played the PS4 version yet, but I'll comment on it once I get around to playing (and platting) it. #118 - Super Exploding Zoo! 18.03% - Rare Everything's Ruined Complete Super Exploding Zoo. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Plat Time: 8 Hours, 26 Minutes Really fun puzzle game with a cool concept. Had lots of fun with it and I'm really glad I got it from PS Plus. I guess the puzzles were a bit too easy but I thought the difficulty suited the game. Short enough to continue to be fun throughout, but not too long that it starts to get boring. Not much else to say other than I love it. #119 - Ether One 11.68% - Rare Validation Excellent Work Restorer. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Plat Time: 6 Hours, 48 Minutes This game is an odd one for me. I wasn't too much of a fan of the gameplay, as you spend the majority of your time just walking around and backtracking. Not to mention, that the puzzles are really easy. You either figure out something for yourself by using common sense or you just read something in the environment that tells you exactly what to do. There are some occasions where they do something different but its not enough for me to say that I honestly enjoyed the gameplay. On the other hand, I loved the story. The dialogue is written and voice acted incredibly well, Pinwheel is a beautiful place to explore (excluding the Mine and Industrial centre which is meant to be ugly in contrast), the world building is done really well and you truly get attached to these characters, especially Jean who you hear pretty much every few minutes through the entire game. Both endings are also incredibly emotional and there are points in this game where the story made me cry, BUT--this game is incredibly buggy, has a lot of visual glitches, so many crashes too, even with all the patches that have been released. I'm not surprised at how many people just gave up on it, not just the platinum but the game in general. It's incredibly frustrating to keep coming across glitches that stop your progress or a crash that causes you to redo 45 minutes of progress, or fast travel loading times being slower than actually walking to your destination. I hope this game gets patched to a state where all of these problems are gone because underneath all of it, it's a decent puzzle game with a beautiful art style and emotional story. Sorry for the long post, been wanting to post this for ages but I just haven't had the time. But it's here now Edited January 12, 2016 by LeetWolf2
Popular Post snakebit10
#174 Riptide GP2 Very fun Jet Ski Racer, Not to bad for a mobile budget game ported to ps4. It is known to be a easy platinum but I will admit I struggled more than I would like to admit. It had a few frustrating moments and the AI was addicted to rubberbanding. At times it seemed like they endless boost available to them. Once I got my jet ski upgraded and got to the last cup of events it seemed to get a lot easier. If you are a fan of racing and like jet skis than I can recommend it. I checked Vector units website yesterday and the have a new Riptide in development for consoles. It is called Riptide Revenge. It looks like cops n robbers. Until next time cya.

Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
Decided to delay posting about these so I can put them all in a single post. I'd rank the GoW games like this, with top being the best:God of War III God of War II God of War: Ghost of Sparta God of War God of War: Chains of Olympus God of War: Ascension But anyways: Trophy of Zeus Unlock all God of War® Trophies The first God of War, where this all started. The game was good, had good boss fights (though that can be said for all God of War games), and how apart the magic was from each other (which can also be said for all God of War games) was also interesting. I liked Rage of Poseidon the most out of all the magic throughout the series. Too bad it wasn't carried on to the other games. I found this game's Challenge of the Gods the hardest out of all of them, mainly Challenge 10. Not to say they were too bad though. Trophy of Gaia Unlock all God of War® II Trophies I rank this game second best. The game made what the original game was good at and made it better. The story is more interesting, I can recognize more characters then I could in the original game, and the boss battles were better for me too, especially the Colossus of Rhodes. The Challenge of the Titans was easier than the original's. Above and Beyond Collect all of the trophies This game is second worst to me, but it is still a good game. Though there isn't really much to say about this game that isn't said in the previous games. It was pretty cool finding out how Atlas became chained from God of War II, and the battle against Persephone was the best in the game. The Challenge of the Gods were also easy. Platinumed this in 15 hours, this game was very short. The Ghost with the Most Collect all of the trophies This game seemed better to me then Chains of Olympus, third best in the series. The story was more interesting to me then Chains of Olympus, fighting Thanatos with Deimos was memorable. The Challenge of the Gods in this game was the easiest for me out of all of the GoW games. The only bad part I found about the game was how short it was. This was shorter than Chains of Olympus. Popular Post Priere
#59 Persona 4 Dancing All Night "Dancing All Night" "Your Affection, Past will tell you when to make yourself a hero" "Heartbeat, heartbeat, it keeps on pounding Heartbreak, heartbreak, you tell me goodbye" This was no surprise, i love rhythm games so it's naturally for me to pick this one sooner or later. And i will tell you, the music and note rhythm is...un-BEAR-evable I loved this game, the Visual Novel of the game is still strong, as i saw. It has a few spoilers of the P4(G) story if you played this game before that one, but nothing too heavy. I'll skip the bull and talk about how the actual gameplay is for me, unlike the Project DIVA games, the HARD difficulty is literally hard (but not really difficult) as it shows challenging elements and stuff. I only played a couple of songs on the hardest setting (All-Night) and...it's going to be a while for me to get used to it If you're a fan of Rhythm (being a Persona fan is a Plus), pick this game up as soon as you can #60 Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair "Hope's Last Reward" "EXTREEEEME!! Aaaahahahaha!" "Love! Love! Teehee~~" The Danganronpa series takes my prize of the best mystery visual/interactive novel of all time, this is me who's talking. As usual, Danganronpa 2 introduced the game magnificently, the story takes place after a certain not-too-long time after the events of Trigger Happy Havoc, and this time about a group of 16 Ultimate students of were all applied to Hope's Peak Academy, sounds familiar? Yeah, that's what you think Anyways, the story takes place in an Island far off Civilization, yet having those elements inside 5 of the abandoned and connected islands. With Ms. Usami being their "Guide Teacher" through this "Heart-throbbing School Trip" to collect a bunch of Hope Fragments from eachother. The group show their dismay with this "atrociousness" at first, that is...until a certain monochrome bear arrives...Puhuhuhu.. You take control of Hajime Hinata, a student in the same academy as the other Ultimate Students, but Hajime cannot recall his Ultimate Talent after being brought to this island. The story unfolds in the Island smoothly, with each case and...."Crime" having more complication than the first Danganronpa game. Oh, and the class trials are longer too. They also added few new minigames and tweaked a little with current minigames, and it's all just...amazing And ofcourse, i have to give my report on all 16 characters, plus MonoMono and Usami (Warning, may contain spoilers) #8 Hajime Hinata (???): Eh, Hinata is actually different from Naegi, in a good way..? I don't know, Hajime sounded at first too....panicky? Overall a good MC. #4 Nagito Komaeda (Ultimate Lucky Student, sounds familiar? Check his attire...): Ugh, the masochistic attitude, the overflowing hope miasma coming from this guy...it's....AWESOME....Aaaahaha! #9 Nekomaru Nidai (Ultimate Team Manager): I-i like his encouraging spirit....I CAAAN'T HEAR YOU, SHOW SOME SPIRIT! I-i-i LIKE YOUR ENCOURAGING REGIME....A-a-and you doing *it* to me!! (only people who played the game will understand this sounds-inappropriate sentence ) #10 Akane Owari (Ultimate Gymnast): A woman who lived a poor life all her time, and fills her empty life with Food. She's also caring, 10/10 for this fine girl. #15 Teruteru Hanamura (Ultimate Cook): A cook who has his....flirtatious ways around both girls and boys, Hanamura wishes and always tries to apply that he likes the Big-City theme and to cook there with his mother. #7 Kazuichi Soda (Ultimate Mechanic): a Happy-go-lucky guy with a troubled cat-persona inside whenever troubles stir. He sometimes annoyed, me. But, seeing Sonia literally shoving him off made him better #11 Peko Pekoyama (Ultimate Swordswoman): a Lady with a scary outside-look, and a girl who loves fluffies in the inside-look. She also has her ways around swords. #6 Gundham Tanaka (Ultimate Breeder/Overlord of the Dead): Gundham speaks in a "coded" speech pattern, often referring to overlords and destroying the world, and the next moment blushing when Sonia flatters his Hamsters. Gundham also refers to Sakura Oogami in a certain way, hush it haters. #14 "Byakuya Togami" (Ultimate Affluent Progeny/Spoilery-ish talent): "Byakuya" has gone and became fat, and got himself to another killing game, what luck, right? With an improved attitude and quite a shocking caring-under-the-sass personality...you'd wish for something.... #13 Mikan Tsumiki (Ultimate Nurse/Fanservice): Yes, this lovely nurse is packed with bandages, first-aid kits, utterly-shy personality, Fanservice CGs and most importantly....Hidden Despair. #5 Mahiru Koizumi (Ultimate Photographer): Mahiru is the character in the game that makes everyone so...inspired and happy? Even though she's strict with guys, Mahiru is also shy around them. #12 Hiyoko Saionji (Ultimate Traditional Dancer): Hiyoko is your typical lolita with a rotten attitude. But despite all that, i quite loved her #3 Ibuki Mioda (Ultimate Musician): Ibuki is a free-spirited girl with a cheerful personality....Ibuki is known for her....touching...music taste in...Heavy Rock. #2B Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu (Ultimate Yakuza): Fuyuhiko is the heir to the Kuzuryuu clan. Fuyu-Fuyu doesn't like it when you call him Baby-Face, but i do it anyway #1 Sonia Nevermind (Ultimate Princess): The Princess of the Novoselic Kingdom. Ms. Nevermind has a lovely personality, and is quite caring. She has a weird obsession with Japanese Drama for explained reasons that i found sensible. #2A Chiaki Nana-nana-mi (Ultimate Gamer): Chiaki-chan is what most people would call her the "You-will-be-forced-to-love-me" character, but i actually like her for spoilery reasons, so i won't say them. She also rocks all Genres of games, except Dating Sims which is understandable.. Monokuma: Obviously, Monokuma is here again and with his BEARY funny attitude. And now, with his little sister, Monomi! Usami/Monomi: I don't know why i saw so many people posting about how much they couldn't stand her.....Personally, i liked her. Love! Love! And with that, ends my arguments. Can't wait to Puu-puu MonoMono in Another Episode Oh, and as the fat rabbit once said...i leave you with these inspiring words. Yes, indeed.... Popular Post aquartertothree
#89: Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Grabbed this during the winter sales as point and click adventure games are one of my favorite genres and I enjoyed Broken Sword 1 and 2 on my PC. I already owned this on my PC but it was so cheap and had a platinum so I couldn't resist. This was pretty good, if you've played one Broken Sword game you've more or less played all of them (3 and 4 seem to have branched off a lot gameplay wise but I haven't touched those yet.) Great for a one or two sitting playthrough if you have the time but it's nothing that will blow you away. Shears is one of my favorite NPCs in the series.

Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #78 The Legend of Heroes:Trails of Cold Steel (Vita) For me this was the best game of the Vita for 2015. With Dungeon Travelers nearby. It felt Persona 4 Golden with fishing, social links, interesting characters with some sort of problem holding them back. There are some romance implied events but nothing like Persona. The ending reveal shocked me but I bet many here already saw through it. Using the Walk through and trophy guide made this quite manageable. Even with best armors, high levels and ultimate weapons. The last few bosses were a pain on Nightmare mode. Especially that luck based final boss that crashed my game after 8 retries. Can't wait for the second game to continue the story and it left out in a point where I wanted to know more. I just hope we can transfer the save for a OP second game play.
