Popular Post yellowwindow7
The Lombax Triumphant / RATCHET & CLANK: A CRACK IN TIME finally got the chance to play this game and man i really likes it, it's really fun and funny and the graphics is easily among the best looking games on the ps3, definitely one of the best ratchet and clank games i've played so far, the only downfall it have is the length as i think ratchet and clank 2 is much longer if i compare it to a crack in time in term of beating it 100% there are some personal things i really hate in this game, the first one it had to be the hover boot, i think the testers in insomniac didn't even bother to fully check it's flaws, the camera cannot be controlled while you're accelerate the darn thing, and i hate it when you try to move forward ratchet always turn to face the screen then turn to move to the direction you want to go, also 80% of the deaths i got are cheap deaths by falling off ledges while using the hover freaking boots. the second one is the dialog ( the one involve a side mission or chose what you wanna do ) that you can't skip, you know, once you play challenge mode you may wanted to skip the dialog's to speed things up, but the weird choice insomniac did is that the skip button actually cancel the entire thing like it was never happen. also i think the developers at insomniac games really love that opening cinematic "ALL THE TIME IN THE UNIVERSE" that every time you go to the Zolar Forest it will play and guess what.... it's unskipable! it's so annoying especially if you keep forgotten a collectible that you need to go back and get it (like i did) oh and be warned! when you chose to go back in time to beat lord vorselon after beating the game "DO NOT SAVE YOUR PROGRESS ON VORSELON'S SHIP AND QUIT THE GAME" i was so tired and wanted to get some sleep saved my progress in there and turn off the ps3, the next day i comeback and reload my save the game thought i'm playing on challenge mode! it restarted the whole game from the beginning with all my stuff EXP's weapons, armor and bolts. then on Zolar Forest when Quark break open the second stone door the game froze, and when i restart it from the last checkpoint the freaking ALL THE TIME IN THE UNIVERSE cinematic will play again (cannot be skipped) then you continue from the last checkpoint, then the game froze again before Quark break the door then.................. anyway this have caused me to completely delete my save and start from the very beginning from scratch, thank god this game is really fun and good or else, off to my shitty game list you goes, lol.

Popular Post NebbyLunala
My most recent platinum was Dark Cloud, an old classic PS2 RPG ported to the PS4. Great game, I highly recommend it, but beware: Two of the trophies are complete RNG.
Popular Post Mad-rise
#3 Paladins Champion of ChampionsUnlock all trophies in Paladins Ultra Rare - 0.54% (now 1.16%) This game is not bad, I played it for a little while on pc and managed to get on the leaderboards for Fernando (top 50) and my friend got on Grover's leaderboard (top 30) but eventually stopped playing it, I might get back to it though. So when I saw that they added trophies I tried to get them, since I already had the beta installed. This plat though it's soon gonna be next to impossible to get. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
#195-Final Fantasy X-2 Well I liked it better than 10...so that's a start. This was an interesting game. I can't say I outright hate it...but I was more disappointed because it could have been so much better. The Battle System OK let us get the mechanics out of the way. I love the Job System. I loved it in Tactics and V and I love it here. BUT they do one major thing wrong here and that is making the Dress Spheres useless when unequipped. There was no point in levelling up the Festival Dress Sphere because you will never use it and it doesn't do anything to your character. I would have loved to have seen the ability to equip techniques after mastering the Dress Sphere. That way you could have a Dark Knight that could also use Mascot attacks. I remember in Tactics being a Ninja but having the Jump ability so I could completely wreck even the final boss by jumping across the screen anytime I wanted. Other than that I was happy to see the Job System brought back as it allows you to completely customize your battles to your play style. My only other complaint would be I would have wished they would have had an "equipment saved" feature as I would have a couple of different teams depending on the situation and to keep switching back to my "Mega Tonberry" team every time I saw one was annoying. The Sidequests OK...as much as I liked the battle system this is where I get off. I personally felt the Side Quests completely killed this game. There were just so many of them and rarely did they feel like they added to the plot at all. There were some, like the Crimson Spheres, that added to the overall experience but after that you were helping monkeys have sex, playing a coin/math game, handing out promotional material, getting people to marry a loser, playing DDR with a bunch of lightning towers and more. This game is about 20 hours long but the Side Quests stretch it out to almost 100. That is way too many sidequests and I would often lose the point of the plot because I was worrying about what was happening in these little moments. I had the same problem with Skyrim because by the time I got back to the main quest in that game I had no idea what I was doing any more as there were too many sidequests. The Characters and Story So I might have called Yuna a plank of wood in the first game The problem is she is TOO different in this game. She has a personality now (thanks goodness for that) but she went from a meek summoner who respects all life...to a gun toting badass wearing Booty shorts who extorts people for money. I mean a big part of this game was deciding "do we really want to help these people...how much money will they give us" I mean what the fuck...aren't we the good guys here? That was my problem with the 3 girls on a whole here. They really did seem to be awful people most of the time. I mean when they weren't breaking into temples to steal Spheres, they were extorting people out of money to save them from fiends, shooting up humans that got in their way, using sacred Ronso water to have a lesbian threeway (oh come on what else was happening there) and other things like that. They just came across as 3 entitled people that you ended up kind of hating by the end. On the flip side Nooj, Barelei and Gipul (their male counterparts) came across as much more interesting people and I kind of wished we could have followed them around. I mean these 3 were the leaders of the 3 different nations and they had to put aside their differences and become friends again to take down the unstoppable weapon. I don't know I kind of wish we got a X-3 and got to play as those 3 guys instead. Finally the main boss. Shuyin had a lot of the same motives as Caius, from 13-2, mainly "my girlfriend died so now I am going to destroy the world" but here I didn't mind it as much. Shuyin was more mad at the idiots in charge that were going to sacrifice his girlfriend that he wanted to turn their own weapon against them. He was killed for his troubles and his rage continued to manifest itself throughout the ages. The short scenes where you got to see what happened between Lenne and Shuyin were very well done and you wanted to know more about their lives...but we never got a chance to because we were stuck with the Babysitter Club instead. OK my biggest gripe...I mentioned we got stuck with the girls instead and while I think they were kind of horrible characters I didn't mention their biggest flaw. THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THIS GAME WAS TO GET BACK TIDUS...WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF PLOT IS THAT. Seriously that is the only reason Yuna is on this mission. She really doesn't care about the destruction of Spira...she is more interested in finding out what happened to Tidus and that is her major driving force. She went from a doormouse character in X to a love stuck teenager in X-2. People are always saying we need more strong female characters in games but not like this. I mean you have an Airhead with a Whale-Tail, a Female-Squall and someone who gave up on life because her boyfriend is gone...those aren't the types of Strong Females we need in games. In Conclusion This game had a lot of high points. Yuna's concert in the Thunder Plains is one of my favourite scenes in any FF game...it is up there with the Opera Scene from 6 so that is high praise but there was so much dragging it down it ended up being a dud in the end. If they could have cut 90% of the side quests and just made this Final Fantasy X DLC where we got a strong side story it would have been a much better game.

Popular Post GoodbyeBread
# 62 - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception I have enjoyed most Naughty dog games, as they have a lot of my favorite games. Uncharted and Uncharted 2 were amazing and I was looking forward for what they were going to do for Uncharted 3. Needless to say, I was happy and sadden by the results. High points were Nate and Sully's story, more weapons and treasures, and the environment. Nate and Sully's origin story was problably one of my favorite parts in the game, as well as the ending. I feel they have really developed over the past two games. Weapons like the M9 and the PAK-90, are a great addition to the game. The treasures they used were well designed. Finally, the environment was breathe taking, especially when Drake travels through the Rub al Khali desert. I feel like I was walking with Drake through the intense heat. Low points are Multiplayer trophies, Hard to obtain treasures in multiplayer, weak shotguns and content removed. Multiplayer trophies are the worst and the bane of my existence. I was unable to get 100%, but thanks for some boosters I was able to get a majority of them. Still, it was an unpleasant experience. Treasures in multiplayer are done badly, in my opinion. Back in the day, once you had something, you had it for good. In Uncharted 3 multiplayer, you get some of same treasure again and again and again and if you are lucky, you might get a new treasure. I've spent too many days trying to get them all, but all I got was the same treasure every match. Shotguns were greatly weakened in Uncharted 3. Despite it being a "power" weapon, it didn't have the strength that it did in Uncharted 2. Content removed from single player is something I'm still crossed about today. In the past uncharted games, when you complete a challenge or found a treasure, you would earn money to unlock a character, a gun or a mode for the game. What bonuses do they have for Uncharted 3? Treasures and statistics. Really? No unlockables or means to change the mode of the game? You could argue they removed the guns, so they wouldn't cheat, but in the past games, when you were playing hard or crushing, those were turned off until you actually beat the game. Uncharted 3 is still good, but I prefer the single player overall. In my opinion, Multiplayer isn't terrible, but hurts the game rather than helps. It will be a while before I can get Uncharted 4, but until then, the Uncharted series is still one of my favorite from Naughty Dog
Popular Post Pershing24
#20 Legion Of Merit Spec Ops: The Line Finally got number 20! And although it was tempting to give it to Uncharted 2, I decided the Spec ops was a better contested since it was one of my first game I got for PS3, and it was alot more challenging, even though it has no multiplayer trophies. (thank god it has no multiplayer trophies.) Technically the game is pretty straight forward, but you will need to replay it twice, not just for all the optional choices and the weapons kills, but also to beat all difficulty. Like Uncharted 2, the hardest difficulty will not unlock until you beat it on its second hardest, which is Suicide, then FUBAR will be available, so don't play it on normal. Also, make sure you focus on the guys rappelling or on zip lines the most because the trophy Airspace Control is not as easy as it sounds because they get off their lines really quickly. Fortunately chapter select will help you along with other trophies on the easiest difficulty, like All You Can Be, Sierra Hotel and Close Combat Carnage This game is beatable of course, and won't be a problem for shooter expect, but because of the game's poor controls and aggressive AI and dimwitted teammates that get themselves hurt all the time. This game suddenly become a more pain in the ass than it should be. But hey, what do you expect from a game that's base on Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse Now. Gentlemen, welcome to Dubai. silenticecream
#29 Infamous: Second Son Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: 7.5 Despite an underwhelming story and uninspired implementation of the Karma system this was a pretty fun game. The world, unfortunately small though it may be, was a joy to interact with and the powers were fun to use. With a bit more focus on character development, original mission structures and storytelling this could have been a fantastic game. However, it was simply a good one.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
. . . Platinum #130 Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today Another point & click Platinum in the bag for me. This one in particular is very dark in tone and deals with some very adult themes. There isn't a lot of joy to be found in this game, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good game because I thought it was very well made. The story whilst quite sad, held my attention until the very end. Overall I would say that Dead Synchronicity is well worth your time.
Popular Post Aranea Highwind
Resident Evil 7 Biosplattered Unlock all trophies. Resident Evil has made a comeback to the survival horror, but also enters on the psychological horror genre as well. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard feels and plays like a new horror IP despite the fact it uses the mechanism of the classic RE titles such as limited ammo, limited saves, puzzle, etc. Definitely a good game if you are looking forward a top quality survival horror title.
Popular Post FallenElysion
#25 Hong Kong Legend Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (PS4) Besides Saints Row, I haven't played an open-world title for a long time, and I am so glad that I chose to give Sleeping Dogs a chance. Exploring Hong Kong was so cool. I spent the first 3 hours just messing around, not paying the missions any mind. The pacing was surprisingly good, but the story felt way too short. I stalled the last 3 missions in between a bunch of grinding and collecting, and it still felt like it was pretty short. But since it was really well-written, I won't complain further. The hand-to-hand combat is really good, and it quickly became one of my favourite parts of the game. All the mini-games were pretty nice too. Personally, I found the gunplay to be awkward at times. The reticle can be pretty inaccurate and it was annoying when the game didn't register a clear headshot or the bullet just flew past the enemy. Not cool, man. The platinum itself is pretty easy to get with some grinding, although there are some irritating things *coughs*TriadXP*coughs* but nonetheless, Sleeping Dogs was overall, a surprisingly pleasant game and I had a wonderful time.
Popular Post colinmazzini
#48. Deadly Tower of Monsters Laundry List Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 10/10 This game is fantastic for what it is. As a kid I loved bad Science Fiction movies and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I also loved video games (okay none of this really has changed except I am supposed to pretend to be more of an adult now). This game combined the two and nailed the best parts of the bad sci-fi genre. It was short and easy but for me definitely worth playing. PS Plus was awesome for this game for me, I knew I wanted to play it since it came out, I just was waiting for a sale, instead I got it free and made it all the better. I would definitely recommend it to others as long as you don't take the game too seriously.

Popular Post Wdjat Prinny Doods
#148- Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator The Absolute World This was a pretty fun game and an improvement over the first game. I liked that more characters were added and some of the newer mechanics. Plat wise this was easier than the first and less tedious than the first, although the online trophies are more grindy than the first game it was still a better experience. The thing that pleased me the most was M.O.M mode. It is waaaaaay better than the first game's abysmal version of this mode. This time the menu is essentially the character select screen instead of the horrible board from SIGN and you get to choose which character you fight with their being different version of each character with different stats, items, and such. The mode still has some flaws but considering how much of an improvement it is from the first they weren't much of an issue. The story in this was a disppointment even though SIGN's story wasn't that good either. It is still a better story than you usually see in a fighting game but considering this is the company that gave us Blazblue which has the best story in a fighting game and one of the better stories in gaming in general this game's story is a letdown although I do like the characters in the game. Aside from the grindy online stuff this was a fun experience and I'm looking forward to Revelator 2 doods

WorldOfSheeps
#8 - The Witness Platinum I read and heard a lot of good things about The Witness, but €40,- (at release) looked a little much. So when I saw this game in the PSN store for €15,- I bought it immediately. The game was enjoyable, but also frustrating. There are puzzles in the game where the solution relies on colors and for people that are color-blind, like me, this is hardly impossible to complete. Therefore, I had to use some YouTube video’s, what took away some of the experience. Gladly for me, the puzzles for the Challenge Trophy weren’t heavily relying on it. Kind of spoiler: Besides that, I find the end scene a little strange. Don't really know what I was expecting, but certainly something different than this, something more satisfying. The Witness has some difficult puzzles in it, but they are doable. Same goes for the Challenge Trophy, it took me some tries (I believe 23) but I never had the idea that it was impossible to complete. I am glad that I waited till it got a discount because I still believe it is a €15,- / €20,- game. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 (It's hard to rate the difficulty of this game, because you can take all the time you need for most of the puzzles).
