Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#38 Jak II Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 7.5/10 Recommend: YES Going back through this game, made me see it's many flaws: the lack of checkpoints, keeping the same (low) amount of ammo you had before you died, the horrid camera angles when you are being chased... I could go on. BUT, I still enjoyed the game. Playing it again made me really appreciate the story a lot more the second time around. OH, and don't even get me started on the humor. The best line had to be when Krew congratulates Jak on a mission well done and Daxter says "What am I? Chop liver?" And Krew responds, "OH I WISH!!! *Agressively licks fingers*" OMG, I was weak . If you haven't played this game, you might want to for the golden moments like those. That scene alone made the hassle of the platinum totally worth it! 4 hours ago, Carlver said: # 37 Jak & Daxter Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5-6/10 Never played it when it released on the ps2, I was the "gamecube kid" back in the days. Anyway, glad to finally play it, it's a fantastics game, really similar to mario 64 and such, though a lot of collectibles. Oh, and definitely not a 2/10 as some people suggests, I died a lot of times, that clunky jump action really tricked me. I wanted to start the second at some point, but I have heard so mny bad things that I don't know if I should, and on top of that they say the developers went on the GTA route with the second. I was hoping for them to be platformers, but will have to play it to get an opinion, maybe they're great too Lol, just read my most recent platinum above. It pretty much explains why people poo on it so much. It's definitely understandable, but it definitely has it's golden moments. The GTA comparison is a little much since the world isn't that big and the game does not contain any side missions other than challenges to either find the precursor orb, race to this spot, etc. It also doesn't give you a lot of room to "goof around" as you'll get F*d pretty quickly as you do not regenerate health and you can't find any health in the overworld. If you thought the first one was hard, I find Jak II at least twice as hard as the checkpoints in between missions are minimal and some of the missions are just flat out stupid hard (Collecting the Mar artifact for the Lurker was the WORST). Though if you want to have the same #38 platinum as me..... Edited March 25, 2017 by Beyondthegrave07
Popular Post Redgrave
#98: Perfectionist - Tearaway Unfolded This Plat took three days but felt like it was longer. Not a bad game really, but there were a lot of choices that made you wonder what they were thinking or why they didn't do this or that instead. It had a certain charm to it that I appreciated the first time playing through it, but then that charm slowly wore itself out when I had to go back and get everything for 100%. The worst of it all isn't the collectibles or having to replay certain levels more than once. It's a certain gopher that you have to escort during some missions, and that's where the game really decides to test your patience. I can deal with an escort mission, I can deal with failing an escort mission multiple times, I can even deal with me screwing up because of a bad decision, but what I absolutely cannot stand is if you fail that escort mission, you have to start the whole level over again. Yeah there's that restart from checkpoint option, but it's pointless because the game doesn't register you having the gopher even if you were carrying it at the checkpoint. Not only that but if there's a cutscene you probably won't be able to skip it, so be ready to hear the same dialogue over and over again. And I could have forgiven all of that if the checkpoint system worked the way it would in other games or at the very least let me skip the damn cutscene. That said, the game does have a cute charm to it, but don't go trying to Plat this thinking it's going to be relaxing.

I was hoping for them to be platformers, but will have to play it to get an opinion, maybe they're great too When you know how the jump mechanic works (you can't double jump the immediate frame/sec, and you lose your double jump if you gain too much falling momentum), it's actually pretty easy to control Jak while platforming, especially given his great ledge detection skills. On the other hand, many good things are also said about the game. You should. It shares similar themes to GTA, but its not the GTA clone/wannabe that most people believe. The open-world concepts are different between them. GTA's concept is centered around the whole world, Jak II's still (faithfully follows the level design and stucture of The Precursor Legacy by) focus(ing)es on the sectioned off levels within the open-world, while making the zoomers from the first game the main transportation through the bigger world to get to those levels, essentially acting as the extended zoomer sections from The Precursor Legacy, which makes sense, and adding in guns which concept's still ultilize eco. This is why the openworld complaints are kinda out of place, because the focus is on the sectioned off levels, not the open world, and its why the OW has no platforming elements while all the SOLs do. Jak II is still heavily a platformer, it only vaguely seems like less or little platforming because of the increased size of the OW. The hub world is bigger, so it takes longer to get to those sectioned off levels with platforming. TPL's OW design was linear. Sequels are wide-open world. Popular Post Jak
#105 Ratchet & Clank: All For One 4 Play Get all of the Trophies in the game. Downloaded from IGC when it was made available. Eventually earned a trophy from it then moved onto other games. Planned and came back nearly a year later mostly to clean up, but realized down the way that this is actually a pretty good co-op game, if nothing more. Popular Post Abbey97
Platinum #57: Perfectionist Collect all the other trophies I loved playing this game as everything in it is just so adorable! I loved how they have made such a visually amazing game just using paper as its main base/factor and also the fact that they make the player use all of the features on their PS4 controller and I think more games should do this. The only thing about this game I didn't like were the Misguided Gopher Escort Missions as they were just down right fustrating and uneeded and I'm sure a lot of gamers can agree with me on that. Thank you Sony for putting this on PS Plus this month, you've done good Sony! Edited March 25, 2017 by RizzleAbbey12

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 135 - SHADOW COMPLEX REMASTERED Date of achievement : March,27, 2017 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult: 6,0 Hardest Trophy: ChAIRness Shadow Complex Remastered, as the name implies is a remastered version of the same game released way back in 2009 exclusively for Xbox 360. Developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic games, this awesome Metroid style game finally sees the life of day on PS4 7 years later and the result, is a game you just can't miss. The game plays in 2.5 format, for the most part, it indeed plays like a old school Metroid game, and since that one is one of my favorite Nintendo franchises, it was no surprise i had lots of fun exploring each square of the map, finding all the power ups, and becoming a fully armed walking army. We play as Jason Fleming, a regular average Joe that is currently enjoying a day out with his new girl around Olympic Mountains. Needless to say, and by proving once again that girls knows how to seduce and enchant us, he soon discovers that Clare was more than she seems to be, leading our a alpha man into pursuing the truth behind all of this. As a Metroidvania game, expect to start with barely any resources, you must explore, fight and conquer if you want to survive and impress your new girl. The platinum is actually a very fun challenge, even trough insane has some tough moments, is far from being impossible, it's actually a very fair experience, the speedrun however is another story, and the requirement for the plat lifts the difficulty level a bit. In the end, Shadow Complex Remastered still a wonderful game, i really recommend to any player that enjoy Metroidvaniai games or wants a fun and enjoyable new game. Popular Post Razza
#158 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Master Of The Wildlands - Collect All The Trophies After recently playing both The Division and Rainbow Six Siege lately with a friend of mine we had been looking for our next co-op game to play together so when the beta was opened for this game we was excited to try it out and was extremely impressed with the sheer amount of customisation for both character and guns. The game itself is enjoyable as you get to tackle any Buchon/boss in any order you choose and can approach the missions with any style you like. Personal favourite of mine was to booby trap an exit from someone who constantly ran away from us on his bike then blow up 6 loads of C4 on him at one. The Story for this game is quite simple to understand, you are the ghosts and are sent into Bolivia to eliminate the Santa Blanca Cartel that have located themselves in this area with there Kingpin being El Sueno. Over the course of the game you will find multiple Kingslayer files which give a bit backstory and information on each target in the game. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a great co-op game to play with a few friends and are looking for a HUGE open world map
Popular Post Jak
#106 Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault The Collector Collect all Trophies. Took advantage of some sale last year that discounted games and especially several R&C games. One of those games was Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked. Insomniac had bundled FFA with DL sometime near release of DL. When I saw R&C:D on sale for $5.00, I took advantage so I could get both games together for a cheaper price. Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat #57: God of War Got the entire franchise from the latest PSN and had to start from this one. Decent game, although a little bit outdated in terms of design and combat. Looking back at this game makes me realize how much the combat has been refined through each installment. However, there were also some terrible moments in the game as well (Hades pillars anyone?). Pretty solid for the first game, only 4 more to go!
Popular Post Masamune
Master of HeartsProof of a perfect completion of Tales of Hearts R. Thanks for playing! Your love and dedication are hugely appreciated! A very enjoyable Tales game, not too difficult, barely any grinding (in my case anyways), interesting story... personally I can't really think of anything to complain about. If you've ever been interested in the "Tales" series, this would definitely be a good one to try out. Popular Post Carlver
# 38 Steins;Gate 0 Enjoyment: 20/10 Don't know how to say it, but this one was fantastic. The first game was incredible, and I was very sceptical about this game, I mean, a sequel considering how closed was the true ending of the first. I was very wrong, they did it, and it's far better than the first game, at least for me. This is the true tale on reaching the Steins;Gate. Amazing music, characters and story, with each of the five ending being worth reading, and the true ending was impressive. I can't recommend it enough

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#167 - Batman It's good to see that Telltale finally decided to polish their games a bit more.Yet, it still has framerate issues, occasional sound getting cut out, and some really nasty animation fuck ups. Still, it was enjoyable for what it was. The quick time events basically still going through regardless of pressing the button or not was a bit odd though. Popular Post Jak
#107 Anniversary Platinum Collect all the other trophies to unlock Not even close to being my favorite action/adventure and/or platforming game. The combat, story, characters (including main), atomosphere, level design, music, antagonist, etc, none of it was unique or good enough to justify picking this up over other games of the same genre. The looped character animations, subpar to average voice acting, and unmotivational story didn't help either. The platforming is also just ok. The few things I like about the game are still not worth recommending the whole game, it's just about-impossible for me to ever find any game entirely good or bad; there's always pros and cons, with Kay's pros not being enough to recommend (at any price above $15). Popular Post ratchetdude231
Plat#14: Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves Difficulty: 3/10 Fun:7/10 Finally plated the entire Sly trilogy. Overall they are still pretty good games. Sly 1 has unfortunately aged pretty poorly while Sly 3 I felt tried to do way too much. Sly 3 is probably my least favorite in the entire series. Just felt like the game had way too many characters and there were a lot of parts of the game I just didn't enjoy. I feel like Sly 4 perfected what Sly 3 tried to do which is have fun characters to play as. Outside of Sly, Bentley and Murray the other characters really aren't as fun to play with. Looking forward to jumping back into Sly 4 tonight and getting the plat for that.
Hayabusa85
Platinum #70: NHL 17 (PS4) Raise Your Banner '17 My new rarest platinum. Really should have been one of the first achievers considering all the trophies I was either one of or the first person to unlock but I just couldn't pull myself away from the mode I enjoy most (HUT) often enough to hit player level 50 in EASHL fast enough. Unlike most people where the HUT trophies are the bigger issue. But better late than never and even with my procrastinating of EASHL showing as the 50th achiever so that is still something I guess
