swainey97
I wanted to know what over people's views are on completion rate I don't really care for it to much but recently i want to raise my completion rate on my account to 50% and in the summer holidays hoping to get to about 35-40%. Popular Post ITzRoryOC
Some people just like to have a %90-%100 completion rate to show off how good they are. Some people even buy $50 DLC from a game that came out years ago just to get %100. I think that is madness but some people are different and i respect that.
ScutumMagister
For the most part I really couldn't care less about completion percentage, though I do admit it's still nice to see mine above 35% or so since that's pretty much all it's ever been on my previous IDs. I used to be really bad at finishing games, even just the story part so it's kind of nice to see that I'm doing better about that than I used to since it means I'm actually more of my money's worth out of my games. Popular Post Aela
I care about my completion rate for I am a completionist! I should reach 100% completion this summer EDIT: I don't just go for piss easy games either Edited May 19, 2015 by Aela
Xel
I'm probably one of few people who think that completion rate is overrated (Not because I leave so many game "unfinished") It just takes away the opportunity to enjoy any game. Besides, some of those aiming for 100% completion are the ones who only complete the games they know they could. Popular Post LastPisTolman
Completion is paramount to me, I enjoy seeing a game end to end. As to my judgments on other people - I honestly couldn't care less. I'm interested in the types of people that are attracted to this site, I thought this would be a nexus of 100%ers but was pleasantly surprised when there was a variety of individuals. Wanting to put the cherry on top of every game means I have a backlog of 100+ games, which I've come to terms with the fact I'm never going to play the majority - which is a bad side effect. That said, experiencing everything a game has to offer is very rewarding in of itself. Trials Fusion has conquered me, in that I can't best the last few trophies remaining and that's OK with me, that's the height of my ability in that particular genre and I like knowing my limits. Those that skim over lots of games, dusting the surface of trophies have the advantage of having tasters of a lot but for the most never getting their teeth stuck into something. Both sides of the coin have their plusses and minuses, as long as the individual is enjoying themselves on the whole is the most important. My gaming life has gotten to the point where I need to play on mute most of the time, so games that have long grinds (Helldivers, Destiny, GTAV) suit me more than ever, so I can listen to Podcasts/Audiobooks while I play.
Avatar_Of_Battle
I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I love doing as much as I possibly can in a game...but only the Base Game and even then I will avoid any MP/Online aspects most of the time. I'm also not willing to shell out a ton of money on DLC as it's not worth it to me. (Things like extra MP maps and added online stuff just is not worth my money) So while I may show low completions overall when it comes to the game itself I try to do everything I can. When it comes to other people's completion rates? It doesn't matter to me. People do what they like doing. 100%ing all games to some might seem like a chore while to others it's an exhilarating experience.
Nihiris-
Nah I don't really pay much attention to overall completion. As long as I'm completely satisfied with whatever game I finished playing, then I'm cool with it.
Dragon-Archon
I like to complete every game I play as much as I can, but I only buy DLC when I really like a game. And I'll probably never buy mp DLC. Edited May 18, 2015 by Dragon-Archon
Boooda
I want it to get better, but I think most people should be atleast 50% or close. Anything less and I have to question whether or not you even beat the games you play Thats not to say you'll get 50% of the trophies in every game you play to completion, but for atleast a majority of the games that will be the case. ilumixZ
A high completion rate is only impressive based on what kinda games you play. Also DLC is a huge factor, if you're like me and you don't bother with DLC too much, you're completion rate takes a hit, i think i have 15 or more plats that aren't 100% due to the damn DLC. I know some DLC is worth paying for...But most are way overpriced and are very short.
xZoneHunter
Don't really care about it. I mean i aim for the platinum/100% of every game i buy, but in the end if i don't enjoy playing the game i have no problem leaving it at 1%.

darkjoke20
I usually go for the platinum trophies in the games I own but I don't usually aim for 100% in games that have dlc unless its an indie game that doesn't have a platinum. I also only play the indie games that come for free for ps plus.
Humonic
90% + completion is only ever impressive if the person has completed hard ass games like P4A, injustice, Raiden, Child of eden and lost planet 2. If they're all easy games, then the completion means nothing imo.
mody94_Station
I would like to reach 70% and keep maintaining it above that. I'm not dead set on achieving 100% for each game due to various reasons(hated the game, not gonna bother with online trophies, too many dlcs with trophy lists that are not worth the purchase but will definitely lower the completion rate).
Skylex322
I'm more interested in the platinum than the 100 %. I'm not supporting the idea of dlcs except it's a really good game and the dlc is worth the money.
Zenpai
I try to keep it as high as possible. I like to bring every game I keep in my collection to 100% completion, even if it requires you to do something even the trophies don't. It's (generally) an enjoyable experience and since my backlog isn't all that big, it makes my games last longer. Some games make it a chore to reach full completion, but I take it as a challenge. Then again, this only applies to games I keep in my collection. Those I didn't enjoy and ended up selling/giving away, I couldn't possibly care less. Wish I could just erase their trophies from my profile so it would only contain the trophy lists of games I truly enjoyed. Alas, it seems Sony does not yet want us to lose a single trophy, even by choice. Oh well, at least you can hide them in here (though that blue "H" never looks good...) Popular Post Floriiss
I'm probably one of the few Completionist out here, but I'll share my view with you guys. Completion rate is very important to me. I enjoy getting all trophies for a game. But you see.. that's the important part. 'I enjoy'. The most important part in gaming is that you're having fun, right? If you enjoy playing games and don't care about your completion rate, then I respect that. I'd never judge someone by their completion rate. If I see a person with a high completion rate I do think that's impressive, but I will not think negatively about a person with a lower completion rate.Moral of the story: Do what you want to do, as long as you're having fun!
Shinobi
For me, it ultimately doesn't matter. But I do like to maintain it as best I can. I couldn't stand with my average being 50% or lower. I like mine to be anywhere above 65%. I don't see the need for 100% completion rate because you are either doing two things... 1. Purposely buying games that have no DLC (Makes getting the 100% easier and cheaper) 2. Dishing out money to buy all the DLC for every game you play (Even sometimes on DLC that isn't worth the price) I do, however, respect other peoples opinions/perspectives on this topic but in my eyes if the DLC isn't worth it, don't buy it just for the trophies. Again this is just me sharing my opinion.
Galactic Hyper Balls
Goal is to get it up to the 65 % range this year, I'm working on many backlog games this year
starcrunch061
If it's important to you, go for it. If not, don't. For me, it's a big no. I don't want to have to try out games on a different account to see if they suck. And I certainly don't want to complete sucky games just for percentage.
