Me watching the latest episode of WWE Raw

8bce00e2853c6e2114fa905d9e8feaba2ba1bc07

When Raw is so bad that you need to get the Smackdown guys to main event the disaster. Long long opening segment like in the worst days, commentator fucking up several times like a newbie, Braun Strowmans dumpster fetish makes a comeback, on screen humiliation burial that does not only make the tag team target of it look bad but also the poor Usos who have to play along, Wildcard bullcrap gets broken mere minutes after it was announced, tag champs are squash victims, Roman Reigns acts like he is a man of the people even though the same people wanted him gone for the majority of his overpushed career. Whatever good thing was going on around this show was not visible among all the shit, boy was that hard to watch.

Still unsure how to view the new Bray Wyatt stuff, I mostly just skip it even though people seem to think it is good, but I just don't want to get my hopes up that it will lead Bray Wyatt back to relevancy. I understand why people want to leave the company, I say good riddance to the likes of Sasha Banks, because if it weren't for Nia and Tamina, Sasha would be my number 1 spot for waste of space, but all the talented single and tag team wrestlers that either get zero screentime or get wasted when they do should really make the move to AEW as soon as they can.

The Wildcard rule still isn't doing any good. Only good part on SmackDown was having Daniel Bryan and Rowan win the SmackDown Tag Team titles and the interview they had, where Daniel Bryan spoke the truth and facts. I don't know how the "Tag Team Evolution" will begin, but truth be told, no one has ever spoken about tag teams main eventing WrestleMania. I know it sounds stupid and all, but watching him say it as a heel was aspiring enough. The tag team division was lead by jokers over the past couple of years and wasn't (still isn't) taken seriously. What they were doing to The Revivals on RAW this week was disgusting. The Usos are still great though, but they're about to and they're gonna make them have a comedic penitentiary on Monday Night RAW.

Don't expect any 'change' until or unless AEW starts beating WWE in the TV Ratings and there is a real threat of WWE shows being canceled by their networks or them dropping them altogether. That's probably the only way they'll 'change.' Of course somehow I don't think even that would get any sort of 'change.'

IMO. I guess.

I have no interest (or intention) in discussing deeper because topics like this tend to fail miserably but I have a sneaking feeling Lars' push, and career, might be at least on hiatus for a while.  Or not.

Same, I've been a fan of the stuff they did.

Have you watched the new version of Whose line? While its not like the old whose line, it has a lot of great moments

I found the new host to be very annoying so I couldn't really get in to it :(

I understand.

As a side note, AEW is almost set with a TV deal. Here is where the competition begins (AEW Deal at 10:15)

Week after week I hear "this was the worst RAW ever blah blah blah!!" and immediately roll my eyes.  Today, it's justified.  That incoherent mess of a show that was put on last night actually broke me.

That's what broke you? The RAW before the McMahon's announced that we're the authority now (whatever), did it for me. The one where Ambrose was getting vaccinated for everything, and Baron Corbin was the GM? Bobby Roode getting his robe pissed on? Yeah, that was a god awful, breaking point for me. I haven't been able to finish a whole RAW or SDLive since. Something about that episode just felt like a breaking point.

I think WWE is in a very bad place right now. Besides for Becky Lynch, everything else is pretty much trash, and I don't think even Becky is enough to save it.

Bad story-telling, for me at least, is tolerable as long as there's something worth-while mixed in (ala Becky Lynch, the couple of successful call-ups, some of the mid-card booking).  Last Monday's RAW, however, was an absolute mess from start to finish.  There were story lines established in the 1st hour that were made moot by the time the 2nd hour was done, followed by an attempt to explain away the botch... which was botched (3 superstars can cross over, Shane and Elias made 5, Lars took it up to 6, so Vince changes the rule to... ... ...4... ... ... and says 2 didn't count).  Like I said, I can endure a bad run here and there but when it becomes impossible to follow one show, that's too much.

The worst part of it is that there's a 99%Vince is going to blame Kofi and Bryan because they headlined the show, he'll pay no intention to all of his "genius and brilliant" ideas failing miserably and point the finger at the ONE redeeming factor thinking it was the problem.

RAW had a lot of bad parts but some good ones too so it was kind of decent for once.

I enjoyed the Cesaro vs Mysterio match and I like this new side of Bray Wyatt now I just hope they'll push him correctly.

EDIT : Just watched all the firefly funhouse shows again and ... Yowie wowie ! WWE Better not screw this ?

So Swagger just won his last MMA fight (he is 2-0 now). When are we going to get a Bellator/UFC crossover and see Punk vs Swagger :P Two former WWE champions fighting it out.

Speaking of Mr. Hager, seems he might have inserted his foot into his mouth and spoiled All or Nothing... or maybe it was planned and there's a future feud in the works?

MitB quick-fire pros and cons

Pros:

 - Bayley's wonderful night and hopefully a good push.

 - Several very entertaining matches.

 - Finn's willingness to bump like crazy.

 - Most matches ending with a legitimate finish, and the ones that didn't at least made sense.

Cons:

 - Night of a thousand botches, almost every match had a botch or two... or three.

 - Joe remaining one of, if not the most misused superstars on the roster.

 - Fucking Brock Lesnar doing anything anymore is an insult to the universe.

 - Shane's 2-0 against Miz so... what now?

I don't even care if some people want to roll their eyes reading this or if they enjoy watching shit shows and act like WWE is enjoyable recently.

Money In The Bank was trash. Miz Vs Shane ended in a shitty way and the botch with the foot on the rope was awful. Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio was another insult to Joe and I believe he might really be the most screwed superstar of this era (remember when AJ Styles tapped out and Joe still didn't win the WWE Championship ?) and the men's Money In The Bank was such a bad joke that I couldn't resist laughing when I saw Lesnar grab the briefcase.

At least AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns 2.0 Seth Rollins was enjoyable. Also, I hope Finn Balor's back is fine because he certainly took some nasty moves ?

Probably the worst MITB PPV up to date. Rey Mysterio winning probably just has to do with him being grand slam and that's it (well, I hope that's the case). Brock Lesnar returning to win the briefcase and he wasn't even part of the match (the referee even rang the fucking bell as soon as he grabbed it). So what now, maybe he will go for the WWE title and finally put smiles on people who don't want or like Kofi as champ?

The things I enjoyed about MITB were Bayley's title victory and celebration, the Universal Championship Match and of course The Men's Ladder Match. Andrade and Finn did some crazy stuff and would have deserved to win the briefcase. Drew would have been perfect. Even Sami Zayn, to make a statement, but he wasn't even in the match anymore.

Then Brock Lesnar showed up and ruined everything. Vince is pure evil. He doesn't care about the current roster or if they bust their ass and take high risk spots, that could shorten or end their careers. Vince never wanted to change anything. People were sick of Lesnar, yet here we go again, because Vince just loves that big bully Brock, who doesn't give a shit about the product or his colleagues in the ring.

Roman with the usual superman booking and Rey dethrones Samoa Joe, while his shoulders weren't even on the mat.

Not really surprised that The Miz lost again. Shane is rumored to face Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia. Plus, the way Shane won had a bit of an old school type of feeling. It builds up more heat for Shane in the process, which could help Mizanin as a babyface, when he finally gets his revenge on McMahon.

Let's see what kinda crap they have planned for RAW. Apparently, Mick Foley returns tonight to introduce a new title, like we don't have enough of those already.

Yeah... I don't think anyone's taking up for WWE shows lately.

Bayley winning & AJ/Seth were my highpoint. Low point: Yippee, Brock is back...

As for Joe, he has to get in line behind: Nakamura (cuz Vince hates asians, Rusev (esp when Rusev was almost the most over guy on Smackdown), Asuka (because Vince's manbits hates asian women), The Revival (just pettiness these days), and Lashley (which is wierd because he's basically Vince's porn history, except black).

AND WTF IS UP WITH CORBIN OBSESSION?  He is terrible and yet over and over again...

I don't have a problem with more titles, if they are managed properly (which WWE is terrible at). The Womens tag titles were created on a whim and only afterwards did WWE noticed the had no division. At least the Iconics having them makes them feel legit since they are an actual team and not a pair of singles thrown together (plus love their annoyingness).  The IC & US haven't felt significant since Miz & Cena held them and the Tag Team division is a mess since Vince brought his creativity to SD.

It will probably be something stupid like the WWE Network title (that can be 'wild carded' between Raw/SD/NXT) or a regional belt to suck up to a marketshare (ah, the Middle Eastern title to suck up to Saudi Arabia's money... I mean people).

Personally I hope it's the TV title (it is my personal favorite, with its built in time limit and everything).

Fixed it for you.

The first 99% of the match was awesome and the guys who actually participated from start to finish deserve to at least be acknowledged for the work-rate they put out there.  Especially Ali, being as how everyone in the match, (including Ali himself) was told he was winning the thing until literally right before the match started... which was when Vince dropped the steaming pile of Brock on everyone.
