Damn, talk about a trip down memory lane with this one! Here's mine: ALL on the PS3!! 

 

1.) God of War HD (loved this game on the PS2, HAD to play it and get my 1st )

2.) Smackdown Vs Raw 2010

3.) Infamous (those damn blast shards lol)

4.) God of War 2 HD (same reason as #1)

5.) Terminator Salvation (was still a rookie hunter, so I wanted this one as it was a easy/all  game lol)

6.) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (hands down the GOAT of COD IMHO and to this day my all time favorite)

7.) God of War 3 (this actually came out on my birthday that  year. So a sweet birthday plat for me)

8.) Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands (pretty good game to go through)

9.) Split/Second (this one surprised me with how good it was. The mechanics were refreshing and cause a LOT of chaos, especially online!)

10.) Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection (The ability to play Sonic 1&2 was the reason I got this game)

1.- killzone 3 MP amazing game and a great one to b your first platinum

2.- trine 2 great game and this was very popular because it was popular because it was a ps plus gift, short game but yet fun platinum

3.-uncharted 2 one of the best games of all time and a very fun one, amazing sony gave away the whole mp dlc

4.- R & C all 4 one fun game but did many segments alone

5.-infamous 2 one of the best games on ps3 and very fun

6.-AC 2 i think this is a must have to have platted if you consider yourself into trophy hunting

7.- sleeping dogs great game but that cleanup can be quite annoying

8.-god of war 3 no need to know anything from other games, but yeah, its kratos at its g0r3 peak

9.-borderlands 1 it was love at first sight with this game, the humor, the system, the mp, just superb

10.- just cause 2 fun game even when the enemy AI is cheap sometimes on high difficulty, and yeah, im still amazed how big the map and game is for a ps3 title

I like how you can see the exact point where I really caught the trophy hunter brain virus: 2021. I hadn't gotten more than three Platinums per year at that point, so it felt good to beat my record. And then I got, like, fourteen in 2022. Yeah.

 

I think Rayman Origins and Sonic Generations were the first games that really pushed me to do harder things for trophies. It felt satisfying to get those, so I think that's what caused me to stop writing off games that required a good amount of effort and skill to Platinum. Previously, I wouldn't even touch games that actually required a remotely good amount of time and effort to earn... fast-forward to 2023 and I would end up spending 60 hours on a collection of old PAC-MAN games in order to get all of the trophies. Man, have times ever changed...

I was actively trophy hunting in 2010 and 2011...but 1 Plat was all I could manage in those years. I didn't have much to play back then either though, so in 2012 I started subbing to PS+ and that gradually gave me more and more to play and I told myself I needed to try and get more than one Platinum...ended up getting 9 (my 11th Plat was Red Dead Redemption)...far cry from the 30+ I usually get a year now, but it was nice milestone at the time.

A lot of these just came from the standard i dont have that many games to play might as well 100% them mindset. Bioshock 2 i actually did the multiplayer 80% legit believe it or not but it was easy to bump into boosting sessions back then by accident but i didn't really do the turret hacking until level 45(out of 60) and the dlc maps i ran into a session by accident and got t done that night.

1.) ICO, definitely a weird trophy list to spark my trophy hunting journey, I remember just looking through the list after playing the game the first time (never played PS2 version) and decided to try and go for it and the rest is history.

2. Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, just had a lot of fun playing the game and even played quite a bit of it in co-op with my brother, good times.

3. LEGO Star Wars lll: The Clone Wars, though admittedly my brother actually did this one, back then we played games on my account so this one isn't technically mine but I know he had fun playing it like he did a lot of other LEGO games and it's cool that he actually enjoyed it enough to get all the trophies since he doesn't really care much for them and nowadays doesn't have the time to play much aside from more casual experiences.

4. Tales of Graces f, Tales of was and still is my favorite JRPG franchise so naturally I wanted to play it to completion.

5. Okami HD, HD remaster of my favorite game of all time (previously played PS2 version, which I still own, this game had a huge impact on me)? Hell yeah I'm getting the platinum.

6. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, see #3

7. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, excellent JRPG that's still among my all-time favorites to this day. I also platinum'd the PS4 remaster and even used the same strategy guide (remember those?) I used when I played the PS3 version so that's cool.
