It's almost the same opinion I had when I played Assassin's Creed Unity. An uninteresting story that had aspects of a much greater story hidden just underneath. A main character that was one note compared to most of the side characters. A wide open map and most of the side missions from the start. A multiplayer that was much better then the single player. They even had two character related spoilers the same. The two differences between the two was that Watch Dogs ties into the overall Assassin's Creed story more then Unity (for side mission spoiler reasons) and I think I enjoyed the game more then I did Unity. Even though the story was mostly a huge cliche mess, the driving, hacking and firefights made up for most of it's short comings. The last level is probability my favorite part as it has someone using your gadgets against you and it makes a very interesting way to brake the forth way. Fair warning though, if you suffer from epilepsy or can't handle flashing lights very well, this and Act 4, mission 2 have an effect that made me sick, and stuff like that doesn't effect me normally. Quick review of the DLC: It has a better story then the main game and expands on two of the characters. The side missions are made more for multiplayer, which is still fun, but get old fast since you need to do 60 missions to get three trophies. If I had to give them both a score, I would say a 7/10 for the main game and a 7.5/10 for the DLC. I'm not feeling up to playing an RPG right now. If I still had another month, I would probably still play Okage, but for now, I'm swapping with Bioshock. A few of the trophies may be a little hard (namely the Challenge Room DLC and the Survivor difficulty run), but I'm pretty sure I can get it done.

Popular Post iXanon
Update #15: "I may have one more completion from the list in me before the end" - Well that happened sooner than expected.. I promptly finished Color Guardians after F1 2017, as it continued to throw trophies at me when I picked it up once again. The final boss was initially a bit of a brute, but there were a couple of useful hints posted in the forum here by the PSNP community which really came to fruition after a bit of practice. I've started working on God of War, as I have God of War II listed for another event - we'll see whether or not I manage to finish it within the next few weeks.! Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Heading towards the final stretch now everyone! Then for a few of us we'll be diving straight into the Spring challenge I made some more progress in Pillars of Eternity 2 over the weekend which felt good. The game was ported to PS4 by a company called Versus Evil and they did an awful job of it in my opinion. So many full crashes, lock-ups, framerate issues and visual bugs. The long loading times are back too which for me is pretty unforgivable considering how the game is pretty simple from a performance point of view and shouldn't require 1 - 3 mins to load into an area. Other than that I'm loving the story, music, setting and characters just as much as the previous game. I think i'll probably be done with it before Versus Evil pull their finger out and patch it, but i'd definitely recommend it once it has a bit more versioning under it's belt. Good luck to everyone getting as much completion out of their lists as possible before the event ends, I believe in you! Same to you, I think my list will likely stay where it is. Me and @neospoon are going to finish off Watch Dogs 2 at some stage now the season pass is cheap. I am planning on making progress with MK X when me and @Copanele are both free to do it. Then Zombi is absolute dross so that will be moved along really slowly! The others I think I have pushed to the spring one. I had fun with it and I feel a tiny bit of withdrawal now, I've been hopping in and out of games the whole evening. Haha. I did manage to complete one more area in The Witness, I've got a bad cold and it's making a puzzle game the wrong thing to focus on. Haha. My mind is not working as it should! AJ_Radio
@MidnightDragon Are you ever going back to Hotline Miami, or did you decide to give up on that one indefinitely? I wish you had the PS3 version of Assassins Creed Revelations and PS4 version of Black Flag. Would of done some boosting together, since you were so nice to help me with Assassins Creed 3. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
I’ve completed Borderlands TPS today by getting my Claptrap to 25 and using all of his random skills. I’ve ditched Fnee to get my Lawbringer to 50, since I wasn’t as smart as he was to use a Claptrap (which needs the highest level for his action skill trophy anyways) to get to level 50. And now I’m mad. Not a single warning … until it was too late *cough* prick *cough* But honestly, I can’t thank him enough for running the game with me, even after his motivation took a big hit from the locations trophy glitching or something. At least we know that it’s probably a location on the Helios station and we’re coming up to that in TVHM soon. I’ve put some useless stats and a recap of my event in the spoiler, feel free to check it out But other than that, that’s all from me for this one. Good luck and a lot of fun to everyone who’s still completing games and a big THANKS for everyone who helped me with my games. Spoiler Some stats (the rarity percentages are off a bit since I only came up with the idea at the end of january): I’ve submitted 19 games with a total of 910 trophies, or 9,12% of my current trophy count.I’ve unlocked 100% of the trophies, with an average of 47,89 trophies unlocked per game. My rarest platinum was Borderlands TPS with a rarity of 4,22%, but the rarest 100% goes to Civ 6 with 1,01%. The game I’ve played the longest is, surprise, Witcher 3 GOTY. It was in my 2019 Wrapped on the number 2 spot with 149h played. Borderlands TPS was the game that’s on my backlog for the longest time (4 years and 6 months - Until Dawn was another 4 year game) “Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Backlog Challenge” or “A story of two tales”. Everytime I had a “good” month for this challenge something weird happened outside my gaming bubble. I’ve finished 5 games in september and even more importantly for me, I’ve met a new friend. Fnee is someone I’d never be friends with if not for gaming and this community in particular. He left school when I was born and is currently living a 20h flight away from me ffs. But I’ve also been to the funeral of my fiancé this month, it wasn’t even my first one, I’ve already lost my best friend and my uncle before that. But it was by far the hardest. The next two months I’ve played Witcher 3, but just for the sake of playing mostly if I’m quite honest with you. I should have been a married man by then… but I’ve got a new girlfriend at the end of november. Onto the next month, another good one this time. Cleared out a bunch of games, but again… I’ve shared with all of you that I’ve lost feeling in my arm around that time. And my granny. January was my strongest month for the challenge and nothing bad happened, my arm is back to normal again and I’ve got a new pet. And this month I’ve completed the challenge I’ve set for myself. But I’ve split up with my girl, even tho I said she’s a keeper. We had a major dispute about my decision to spend the day I’ve proposed to my former fiancé at her grave instead of going home straight after work as I usually do. I know that I said a wrong and hurtful thing that day (I’ve said that if everything would be going as planned she wouldn’t even be here right now), and I apologized for it. But I still don’t think what I did was wrong.
