Popular Post VegaMan-X4
Was hoping for PS4 GOTY re-release (all DLC included) at some point but that was not to be, so I finally settled with a PS3 copy that arrived last week. Spoiler Plus, another old photo of mine of an average game but also two amazing video game soundtracks that came out of it!

Popular Post GIXVI96
I haven't had a PS3 since 2013, I sold it & switched over the the Xbox One 🫢 Been feeling a bit nostalgic for the older gaming days recently as I have a particular hatred for the "live service" model that will only keep getting more and more prevalent, so I bought a second hand PS3 with a handful of games and started a fresh PSN profile to trophy hunt / reminisce on some old favourites as well as play some new games for the first time! - 3D Dot Game Heroes (this is EXPENSIVE now but I loved it back in the day so had to bite the bullet) - Beyond Two Souls (never played, but I loved Heavy Rain so i'm hoping for more of the same) - Doctor Who The Eternity Clock (it's bad, but i'm a big Doctor Who fan) - The Evil Within (I could just play the Xbox version on Game Pass, but I think there's a weird sort of "charm" to the early cross-gen games, interesting to see what compromises they made on the older systems) - Heavy Rain (as mentioned above, i've played it and love it, going to give it another run through) - Lego Dimensions (has a Doctor Who level pack, I had to) - London 2012 (the olympic video games are dumb, button mashy party fun) - Mirror's Edge (beaten a few times on Xbox, needed an excuse to play through again for trophies) - Motorstorm Pacific Rift (Sony needs to let someone take a shot at the Motorstorm IP again, these games are golden) - Naruto Shippuden UNS Revolution (one of the "spin-off" titles stuck on older gen systems) - Prince of Persia 2008 Reboot (I really liked this one, sue me) - Rayman Origins (I prefer the 3D Rayman games, but Origins and Legends are a fun yet slightly infuriating time) - Sports Champions (yet to buy a PS Move but I plan to, can't go wrong with a gimmicky sports compilation) - Test Drive Unlimited 2 (loved this back in the day, the upcoming 'Solar Crown' titles looks a little rough) - Wanted Weapons of Fate (an actually somewhat decent movie tie-in, a bit by the numbers but you can curve bullets, what's not to like?) - WET (most underrated Bethesda title) I have a note file on my phone filled with PS3 games I want to pick up, going to have a lot of fun going through some old favourites as well as some I missed!
insaneeeRob
I was traveling in another city and I swore I would be back home with a bunch of ps3 games... I WAS WRONG lol Every game was very expensive and since I didn't wanted to leave empty-handed I bought this game for 5 bucks 🥴 At least was sealed.
CairdyBoyBeats
Dead Space 2 which I just finished minutes ago. Amazing game that I will never play again lol (It was really hard and stressful for me) Not sure if I'll get the third one as I've heard bad things and I thought 2 ended perfectly fine.
Popular Post johncnstntn__
Probably the last batch from NA for a long time. Time to clean up those pesky stickers. You Don't Know Jack and Marvel Superhero Squad DLCs probably will cost me more than these games combined. XThordoomX
Bought it with Bayonetta 2 for Wii U. I wonder how bad this port really is. By looking at Digital foundry frame rate comparison of various versions it looks pretty bad. Edited November 12, 2023 by XThordoomX
Popular Post MegaZeroXX
Got these for a very cheap price. It seems my PS3 is nearing its end as the cmos battery is already depleted and when I booted up a game, it froze during gameplay. Hopefully battery replacement and cleaning will prolong my PS3 unit life. Edited November 13, 2023 by MegaZeroXX

Popular Post SmileSlice
Just ordered this, and it’s the North American region too! I was starting to worry I’d have to rely on ordering the Japanese version, since that’s all I saw available online for the longest time at a reasonable price. Haven’t played this since I still owned my Xbox360 years and years ago. Very excited to replay this classic and also hyped for the upcoming remake!
Spageos
I'm uh, gonna have to see how this is. I have a friend that swears by this series (particularly the ReBirth versions of the trilogy) but I wanted to try the original.

As a MASSIVE, HARDCORE fan of the series, I can sadly attest that the first original game will not give you the best impression (original versions of 2 and 3 are still really good). Pretty well any other in the series, ESPECIALLY the Re;Birth titles, will hopefully have you hooked. The series as a whole is a very chill and fun experience in my opinion, and I can very highly recommend every single one so far, apart from the original. I’m still glad I own it, but I’ve not finished it myself yet, and it has quite some different mechanics than the rest of them. I have a friend that swears by this series (particularly the ReBirth versions of the trilogy) but I wanted to try the original. I'll be the other side of the coin here and tell you that Hyperdimension Neptunia is the superior experience of the beginning of the franchise story-wise—even superior to Re;Birth1 in that regard. The pacing and development of characters and their relationships feels more organic in the original, whereas Re;Birth1's party feels more like an old group of friends getting back together despite not knowing each other beforehand. The PS3 original is ridiculously primitive by 2023 standards, and the combat has its annoyances, but if you can stomach the sour parts then you're in for a unique experience that even its "remakes" don't capture 1:1. If you have a bit of cash to spare, it's worth picking up the "Events" bundles for the following characters: Spoiler https://www.mobygames.com/game/118921/hyperdimension-neptunia-5pb-events/ https://www.mobygames.com/game/119381/hyperdimension-neptunia-red-events/ It's the most character development either girl receives in the entire franchise, and I found both of their storylines to be rather compelling. You can always watch those events on YouTube though. Whichever way you go, try to give the series at least two games to catch your interest; mk2 brings a massive number of QOL updates and brings the series in line with modern entries.
