I know the purpose of Musou games isn't to overthink stuff but man this game takes it up to 100. At some point I just mapped the turbo controller to square and walked around while spamming punches as Luffy. Still got an S rank on hard. Had no idea what I did. This will probably be the most difficult game I will have to complete for this event, since it's an absolute slog. At least for the other entries I have SOME form of gameplay.

First of all, I finally stopped putting the text in the center, as it looks weird compared to everyone else. Still haven't platted anything, but that's due to the games I've played so far. According to the guides I read, they have a combined plat time of 100+ hours, so give me a break. I've already explained why RIDE 2 is an issue, and it's really showing now. I almost double the score required for reaching P1 on the leaderboard, did 50 online races, and I'm just halfway when it comes to collecting those tokens. At least I now have a plan, and should finish this before I get CS4. Second game is F1 2020. This did not start the way I wanted with time glitching putting me from P13 to P2 all of a sudden, but I have done the majority of the online part, with only 17 races left to do and the clean race part wrapped up, and the career mode needs some work as well. My Team is pretty fun, but it does take a while. At least I'm already World Champion, so that's something. I really want to wrap up all PS4 games on here before CS4, as I'm going to be playing that and only that once it comes out. I'm curious to see how it'll go. Happy hunting everyone!
Popular Post AuroraHistoire
My Hands are About to Break, So I'm Writing an Update I've been playing a lot of Persona 4 Golden and Rabi-Ribi this past week. I'm making good progress on both games but only one counts toward the event. In Rabi-Ribi, I did encounter a small roadblock when fighting the final post-game boss. The game (I was playing the Vita version) would tend crash during the fight during 80% percent of my attempts. I managed to figure out the game would only crashed during a particul attack the boss did, while I was attacking the boss during that move. I just didn't attack while she was preforming that move and the game didn't crash anymore. The fight was still relatively difficult after that but being able to actually play the fight was nice. I still have a very long way to go with Rabi-Ribi. I have post-post game quests and bosses, collecting all of the things, a speedrun, a 0% items run, 2 boss rushes and completing the game while not getting bit by a single spike. The last one is going to be very hard for me since I tend to fall into spikes at every possible oppurtunity. I also completed Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma. It's a bloody little game where you solve escape room puzzles, then make decisions that may or may not get everyone killed. It was okay. Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Update #2. Bit of a weird week, was my birthday so playing a lot less than usual Spyro 2 - 7% -> 10% Spyro 3 - 0% The Order 1886 - 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter - 0% Final Fantasy IX - 0% Marvels Avengers - 56% -> 58% Fallout Shelter - 0% -> 100% So i was sorta 'stuck' on what to play, i wasnt really feeling any of the games on my list, which has been a worry for a while now. I dont know why but i was just whiling away my time and remember Fallout Shelter. Its a 'fun' game using timeskip but the 50 Raiders was hell but easy enough to do in a couple of days to make my first platinum of the event and my 11th overall Ive also been playing Avengers a bit but the trophies are so horrendously glitched that im going to take a break until its fixed. Working through Spyro as well, which i still enjoy. Due to like i said above, im unsure what to play and i dont want to start 'new games' that ive been meaning to without them on the list, im gonna extend my list a bit. Witcher 3 - 0% Control - 0% Civilization VI - 0% AC: Odyssey - 0% Horizon Zero Dawn - 0% Watch Dogs 2 - 0% Tomb Raider (PS4) - 0% Yakuza Kiwami - 0% Detroit: Become Human - 0% ES: Skyrim - 0% Minecraft - 0% Diablo 3 - 0% Blood Bowl 2 - 0% Brings my total up to 20, most of them im semi-desperate to play ATM so it helps me out. Theres still some on the list behind that i want to add but i should probably get through these first Edited September 11, 2020 by SpacebarPIays
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for an update! For some reason I thought I had added an opening update already, but I actually don't think I have any concept of time anymore this year. I wonder if this is how Dr. Who feels, only a less cooler version of that. I added Life is Strange 2 to my list as it's been a nice palette cleanser for my new obsession with Marvel's Avengers. Really enjoying reading everyones updates so far, thanks for making my morning coffee really fun and enjoyable Marvel’s Avengers: 0% > 56% Life is Strange 2: 0% > 13% Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Watch Dogs: Legion Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cyberpunk 2077 ======== Marvel's Avengers So far I have absolutely adored Marvel's Avengers. I enjoyed the story campaign and there were definite wow! moments, but after going through the whole thing - I think they could have put a bit more time into it and the character development. When the credits rolled I came away with two thoughts - [1] Ms. Marvel is such an amazingly crafted character and [2] I wish they had put more into developing the other Avengers in the story. It was a fun enjoyable story in my book, but it didn't fully realise it's potential by the time it came to an end. They also put a tonne of polish on the opening game sequences and the closing game sequences and there was a bit more of a jank factor in the middle. But I guess you could also argue that the opening and closing were both pretty much giant set-pieces and so would look like that naturally. Story aside, where the game really really shines for me is a combination of how the game handles character progression & combat. Both of which are really well designed in my opinion. Once you leave the main story behind and hit the endgame and start opening up the repeatable, daily and weekly missions & challenges that's when the gameplay loops kick in. I think it's also the point where people will either keep playing because they dig that gameplay or move on to something else. For me this is a game that i'll be playing for a long time and i'm already working towards maxing out all currently playable characters with Gear Score, Hero Card and Character level progress. ======== Life is Strange 2 I'm approaching this like a Saturday morning TV show and trying to knock out one episode every weekend. So far i'm really enjoying it and I've been on quite a journey already even though we are only a couple of episodes in. It's near-identical to Life is Strange in terms of gameplay which puts all the focus on how the story progresses and where it goes from here. So far i've been completely invested from the opening and i'm looking forward to what happens next ======== Look after yourselves everyone and see you in the next update
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
great to read all these updates, gives me a 'we are in this together' feeling ? This week I had not much time to play, although I finally platinumed Borderlands 3 (not part of the competition), nevertheless i made some progress with : Hitman 2: I am really loving it and if it was not for this challenge I would never have been going in so deep. Getting all the possible kills is super fun to do. I finished the Santa Fortuna DLC and almost finished the base game trophies. Most satisfaction I got was when I did feed Rico to his own Hippo. Nice classy kill. So not bad in terms of progress. Far Cry New Dawn: Made some good progress by just running/driving around the map, picking up missions and treasure hunts. Very relaxing game. Current status: Coming week I will try to finish Far Cry, need online help with one trophy s that could be the game breaker. Good luck everybody with the challenge and 'talk' to you next Friday!
Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Havent be putting much time into Doom due to more Mein Lebein runs. Im closing in tho, so its only a matter of time at this point.? Got some Doom time into tonight(Be it very little) Day 6: Did the 100 Deathmatch kills grind, took only like 20mins. Super simple, just picked Episode 2 Mission 9 and rocketed my local 2nd play over amd over. Got the 2hr speed run done today in 45mins or so. Whats really weird tho is It unlocked on Ep.3 M3...I guess that means I was hella fast on the rest of the levels on my intal UV run. Makes sense, considering how much I die on some levels till I knew them like the back of my own demon blood stained hand. lol But hey Ill take the quick trophy. ? Desided to say hello to my Solo Coop Nightmare Run and see what it was gonna be all about. (My gf sadly was getting to annoyed by the consent demon yells, so she was like "f**k that when I asked her to by my meatsheid...I mean partner for the nightmare run. ?) Did M1 and 2, feels like it may not be so bad(I mean the trophy's name even says it wont, so it cant be right?) But you die in like 2secs and there are infinte spwaning enimies. So its pretty much a more hardcore speed run at this point. End Log. Edited September 11, 2020 by Wild-Arms-R

I'd honestly wait a couple of months and make sure Crystal Dynamics fixes the issues and actually carries on with their plans. The Campaign is really really fun and the combat is fluid AF.... As long as theres only like 2 enemies in front of you. The matchmaking is currently busted (And for a game that relies heavily on matchmaking) which makes it pretty unfun unless you have a specific group of 4 that have similar goals. The few people ive added from this site have all been people trying to rush every single thing and for me, thats not what i want out of this game. The gameplay aspect behind the loot grind like Crispy said is very enjoyable, as long as you enjoy those Diablo3 loot crawlers. Its basically do the same missions and hope for better gear, which i find enjoyable. So yeah, i'd honestly wait a month or 2, maybe for it to go on sale etc. (Also, if you plan to get a PS5 early, maybe wait until then because the loading screens are a painnnn in the butt)
neospoon
Is it still possible for me to join? I’m only 10 days late (sorry). I wasn’t able to sign up for the summer challenge and kind of let everything slide, but I’ve found some new inspiration. If it’s too late to join I understand. I’ll wait with posting a list until I’m sure I can join.

Otherwise still making good progress in Hajimari no Kiseki and Sengoku Basara. Up to 12 playthroughs completed in Sengoku Basara completed of the 64 needed to get the plat. Yeah, it's an insane grind of a game, but the playthroughs are only about 2-3 hours. It's just that the game needs a minimum of 4 playthroughs with each of 16 heroes. Progress is slow, but still happening! Also slowly progressing in my nightmare run of Hajimari no Kiseki. I say slow, but I'm on chapter 3 out of 5. It's just that most of the remaining trophies are for stuff done over the course of a whole playthrough, so trophy progress is slow going.
Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #2 Well...on an unrelated note I managed to finally plat Danganronpa V3. Which wasn't on my list but I was weirdly inspired to start it up again and was too close to stop. It's amazing how quickly everyone else is completing games. Well for me, I continued to work on Trails of Cold Steel and I synced my Vita trophies so Amnesia updated. It was actually partially last week that I worked on it, but I forgot and I hadn't synced. Since I'm working on the game and the guide at the same time it's very slow going. Probably the last guide I make for a Japanese language game. I realize now that nearly all the games I choose are visual novels. Maybe I should swap out for Lego or Goddess Black Heart? Popular Post dylansko
Update #2 PaRappa The Rapper is a very hard game. Nobody prepared me for the hell of level 4 "Cheap Cheap the Chicken" and it's sick rhymes. That damn song is burned into my brain. I'm a chicken, got it? Ya beef jerky! Been working on grinding out Gundam Breaker 3 and taking breaks in between session with some light gun action in House of the Dead 4 which makes me really wish I had a move and one of those move gun holsters so I can be an elite zombie hunter. Really makes me want to play more light gun games which I'm remembering how much fun I used to have with them back in arcades in the day. I wish they would remaster all 4 House of the Dead games and release them with a plat which I'd proudly display as mastery of the greatest series of arcade games ever made. But they'd probably fuck it up making it a VR exclusive or something stupid. Root Letter was a pretty good time and I appreciated the pacing of the story but if I was stacking the 150000 regions and vita versions like some people do replaying it over and over I'd probably claw my eyes out. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: Platinumed some really good games this week! Hollow Knight - I did use the invulnerability glitch in the end for some of the harder fights (there is a very difficult boss rush mode etc). I don't feel bad about this because I cleared the vanilla content myself. Return of the Obra Dinn - This wasn't on my original list but added it after hearing good things about it and wanting a deduction game to play. Used a guide to help clear up some of the more difficult bits - but this was spoiler free (eg being told to pay attention to bunk tags and tattoos etc rather than being told which crew member was who). I return to work tomorrow after compassionate/annual leave. Will try and keep gaming tempo up but I'm sure things will slow down a bit. Very close to platinum number 200 and trying to decided what to hit this milestone with. Super Turbo Championship Edition - 1% Metro Exodus - 6% Mighty No. 9 - 3% The Last of Us Remastered - 0% Zone of the Enders was a decent game that holds up surprisingly well for something that was released back in 2001, albeit pretty short (6 hours to obtain the platinum). I started on Hard difficulty and followed the one playthrough platinum guide over on .org which I can't recommend doing enough. The bosses are nothing to be worried about as they all have predictable attacks/movement patterns which are easy to counter. I didn't have any trouble with the rescue missions either which seems to be the reason why most people bump up the difficulty of this list - personally I'd give it a 3/10. I don't regret giving this game a go, and it was definitely interesting to see some of Kojima's other work. Killzone: Mercenary turned out to be a great Vita title. I'd honestly prefer it over Shadow Fall. The story is typical of most FPS's, serviceable at best. The gunplay feels okay, it definitely takes a bit of getting used to though, but the wide array of weapons available make the combat more enjoyable. Veteran mode was really easy, with only a couple of slightly difficult moments. I'm currently working through the mission contracts, which are basically alternative ways to progress through to missions. It's definitely a little repetitive, but thankfully not that difficult. The covert assignments are what I struggle with the most, and it's annoying having to load in and out of a level every time you make a mistake because the initial loading of the level takes quite a bit of time. It's definitely going to be some time before I pick up the platinum for this game!

Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 2 - 9/13/2020 Avengers 50% 52% The Deadly Tower of Monsters 50% Final Fantasy XV Pocket HD 18% Rocket Arena -> Alphadia Genesis DBFZ -> Hotshot Racing Swaps used: 2/5 Got my first two platinums done. I also got back to where I was in Secret of Mana before having to restart, but took a break so I don't get burned out on it before the real grind begins. I'll finish it this week. Avengers has some bugged trophies, but I'm leaving it on my list for now since there's still so much time left in the challenge. Hopefully they'll get fixed. I'm keeping a couple Ratalaika games in reserve just in case I need any last-minute swaps come February. After spending more time with Dragonball FighterZ and Rocket Arena I've decided to swap them out. Rocket Arena is just boring, and it was only $5 so I don't feel too bad about letting it languish. I love DBFZ, but I'm also trying to get the plat for SFV (outside of this challenge) by the end of the year. I can only concentrate on one fighter at a time. So they're gone and 2 new games are in. Alphadia Genesis is the newest Kemco JRPG and those are usually fun, short and have straightforward trophy lists. Hotshot Racing is from Sumo Digital and was only $15 so I got that, too. It's fun so far, and the trophy list seems challenging but not too bad. My updated game list is spoilered at the end of the post. Week 3 plans: Platinum - Secret of Mana, Alphadia Genesis, Titanfall 2 Start - Control Keep Grinding - Avengers, Hotshot Racing Here's to another week of backlog clearing! Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
More Mein Leben taking up most of my gaming time(died on The very last fight in the game, so close...?) But I bring you more Doom(93)posting tonight. Log 007: I got tru Episiode 1 of my Nightmare "coop" Solo run. And unlike the trophy name says, the "Not So Bad" trophy is quite bad, like really really bad. Or a better word would be, its freakin terrible. All this mode has you do is just make a mad dash tru each level as fast your Doomguy possibly can. All the while your getting destoryed in about 1-5 secs. Your best bet is to grab the nearst weapon and whatever key you can for the level your in. Thankfully all keys dont reset apon death.? So its more about thowing yourself at the wall untill its breaks...or you do of cource. lol Also narrow hallways are your worst enemy here. Its gonna be a stuggle to clear the remaining two episodes, and I got a bad feeling this nightmare is far from over.? Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #2: Week 2 is over and I could make some good progress. And it is the first time in these events, that i write two updated and still haven`t added more games to the list ? (best achievement so far ^^) Indiecalypse: One of the worst games I played this year. The Idea is great. You will play many indiegames of the last years. But most of them are bad. The turorials dont show the controls and when u fail u have to watch the cutscene again...it is just bad. Beast Quest: All in all it was short and funny. Its not a bad game but not a good one either. the grafics are ok, the story is not really interessting and the combat is okay. But it is still fun. Why? I dont know... ^^ Adventure Time: This was really fun, love the style, the humor and the lenght. The Story is fun, loved the songs they sing, when ur on boat. Its not really a grind to get the characters to level 10 so it was a fairy easy platinum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Color Code: Red = Game not started. Popular Post freddie1989
Update from me and its not a great one but I have already matched my completed tally for the last challenge so I will take it LOL!! Finished up Life is Strange 2 and to be honest I was a little underwhelmed with it. The story starts well and could go anywhere it wants but kind of ends up going nowhere to be honest. Episodes 3 and 4 were kind of pointless and it had lost its way by then for me. Other than that I have gone back to grinding out the rest of Mortal Kombat X which isn't on my list but progress slowly towards that. Next on here is likely to be Ghost Recon and The Last of Us. Ghost Recon Wildlands 7% The Last of Us Remastered 0% Far Cry New Dawn 0% Horizon Zero Dawn 0% Resident Evil 7 0% Deponia 0% Deponia Doomsday 0% Chaos on Deponia 0% Goodbye Deponia 0% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 0% Life is Strange 2 42% - 100%
