At least it no longer has the chance of becoming unobtainable! I'll get back to this one soon. Metro Exodus: Made it as far as the sixth chapter and pretty much gave up. Hated this game, the story could not make up for the awful gameplay so there was no chance in hell I was going to complete this game on the highest difficulty. Instead I'm going to buy a physical copy eventually and just exploit it instead. Decided to swap out this game since it's still pretty pricey and I'm in no rush to pick up a copy anytime soon. Mighty No. 9: Defeated all of the Mighty bosses and shelved the game for the time being. I still have two levels left I think, after which I'll be working on more specific trophies. Not sure if I'll have the skill to nab the platinum for this but only time will tell. The Last of Us Remastered: Earned a single trophy for crafting every item. I've completed the sewers a few days ago and once again I seem to not really be motivated to return to this game. I'm not really sure why but it's yet to really grab me to the point where I can't stop playing it. I'll try to at the very least complete the campaign this month. That's all from me, happy new year everyone!
Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 7.0.: First update of the year, and by the way I wish you all of you a wonderful end of the past one, also hope you're having a blast with this new months' days and everything goes smoothly for you. The end of a cycle, and the start of a new one. So I'm making some resolutions for this next opportunity and having a different approach towards the games I play and how to tackle more trophies along the way. Been really thoughtful about grabbing a PS3, however many of the servers' shutdown by many games on that console seems unworthy, I would like to try few titles that I have an in mind, but may be this would be the time around to try new stuff and have a more varied trophy list in my account. I don't know, I really want to close a circle that I couldn't back in the day. But, let's talk about my personal progression in this challenge. Since these days are often taken by relax and some type of homestay due to several factors, this time around has been completely different compared to other years. I usually play a lot in this season, but right now has been really tough since many things are happening in real life that have taken my focus wholly to them. So despite my desire to do so, I can't find a proper moment to grab the DualShock and start hitting the games I'm into. However, there's have been a moderate progress was done in the past weeks too, so I want to share them straight away. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered – 0%100% Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition – 0%100% Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – 73%83% GTA V – 43%48% Psychonauts – 0%34% Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades – 0% Final Fantasy VII [OG] – 0% Doom Eternal – 0% Star Wars Battlefront II – 0% Cuphead – 0% Swaps used - 2/5: Assassin's Creed OriginsGTA V Lego Marvel’s Super Heroes 2Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition I'll start with the classic Psychonauts, which honestly has been... unique. At first glance, the game seemed too old to start with; the graphics design was something I wasn't expecting, mean that it should be a remastered version at least, but was just simply a port of the original PS2, which doesn't fit for what I could look for a title on this platform generation. The mechanics also feature this delay that was a thing back in the day, but for today standards I think that the game aged bad. I understand that having this contemporary view and experience upon a game that came out to market so long ago is unfair, but that's my very personal experience that I had with the game. Also, I must admit that i've never played the game before and only knew about it via other sources like videos and articles, and it caught my attention to give it a try. Despite this could seem a very little progress in the game, that's because mostly of the trophies relate with miscellaneous and collectible stuff, which basically you need to beat the game in order to attain the Platinum. The grind for this game is slow, also by the fact that I couldn't play as much I wanted last week braked the progress a lot. But overall, the game has its appeal; right now beaten the 6th world has giving me a good taste but not at the expectations I had at the beginning. Anyway, I really hope to beat this one in the next few days. In the sight that we now have just 2 more months, and in all dignity I like to take my time to play the games not giving a single damn about the time upon completiton I can say with confidence that I will just beat 7 out of 9 of the games posted here. Yeah, I'm not crazy like many of you lot, but I think that is a good personal achievement from what my backlog stills buzzes me at night, LOL. Also, I must add that I get really overconfident about the time for this challenge that caught me unproven to give my best advance for the games. I shouldn't worry a lot about this too. Ok people, this is my entry for what has happened in the last two weeks, and I really hoe you could had a better progress than me! Wish you the best and take care of everythin, as things will not magically dispear just because we change our calendars, but we can start to make improvements towards that goal and see what this new time bring to all of us! Cheers, good vibes and Happy New Year and Trophy Hunting!

Popular Post HaserPL
On 20.08.2020 at 1:46 AM, HaserPL said: 8. Metal Slug 3 - 0% 100%; 9. Alien Breed: Impact - 1% 100%; 10. Alien Breed 2: Assault - 0% 100%; Update #I don't remember: Finished 3 games off the list during the holidays, wish I had more time to finish the Alien Breed trilogy but unfortunately, had other things to take care of. Metal Slug holds a dear place in my heart, as I'm pretty sure it was one of the first games I've ever played, back in 2002/3 on an arcade machine. I don't really remember which one was it, might as well been Metal Slug 1 or 2, but I can't really remember playing anything else earlier. My PE in primary school was taking place in a swimming pool and we had two hours of it every week. After we were done and if you were quick enough with drying your hair etc, you could play Metal Slug for like 10/15 minutes before going back to school, and I had spent a lot of time back then with this game :D. It got to the point where I'd fake illness or whatever, just so I could play MS instead of swimming. Yeah, good old days. But back to it. Playing Metal Slug for the first time in over 20 years was... difficult, to say the least. I've obviously played Metal Slug games in the past but that was mostly on my phone and the emulator wasn't that great, to begin with. My first playthrough on PS3 was rough, I died around 130 times, but the second playthrough where I went for the 3 million points trophy was a lot better. I have to say though, Having to do almost an entire playthrough without dying without the save abuse would take a loooong time so I definitely can't wait to go for the platinums on PS4 in Metal Slug Anthology and XX (just kidding I'm fucking terrified). and Platinum #170 Platinum #171 Alien Breed was on my radar after playing through Dead Nation and having a blast with it. My friend described AB trilogy as "Dead Nation in space", which sounded appealing, but lemme tell ya, this game wasn't nowhere near close to the level of polish Dead Nation provides. This game is worse than DN in every single category possible. I had a miserable time playing through it and I can't wait until I finish the 3rd game, just so I can delete them from my console and never play them again. Yes, the game had potential, but the amount of repetition, backtracking, lackluster story, and gameplay was just so mediocre that the game has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Me and my buddy @Johnytomm when playing coop together had a laugh about how this game was similar to Dead Space 3, and so shitty compared to Dead Nation. Trophy wise, both took me around 10 hours to do, the first one took me almost two playthroughs as I tried to do a single run on Elite without spending money, but I used too many medkits on my way and I missed the 30k credits trophy, so I had to replay 3 missions on Cadet just for this one trophy, and the second game required full two playthroughs, one on Cadet to get everything done and a speedrun on Elite which wasn't that bad, finished the game in 3:07 hours. Coop was funny to do, but it could be worse I guess. 4/10 Wouldn't recommend. Now I will finish the 3rd game and after that, I think I will play Prince Of Persia, I have a craving for it which I cannot explain tbh. Have a great week ladies and gents, stay safe and happy new year ;).

Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 18 - 1/3/21 Another update with no progress from me. I played Transformers and Arkham Knight a little, but not enough to unlock any new trophies. I spent most of my gaming time with non-challenge games this past week. It was a nice break, but now I'm ready to get back and finish off this challenge. Seems like any time I make big plans I end up making less progress than usual. So no huge goals for now. Dragon Lapis 14. Beast Quest 450 out of 536 trophies earned. 10 out of 14 games completed 2/5 swaps used Making some good progress in Sengoku Basara now. Got the trophy for getting one of all materials (the last one was a bit of a pain since it required beating a level on hard difficulty with no damage for the last material I didn't have). Also finished up with KOing fugitives so I went ahead and also knocked out the hard run with the default weapon with the character I killed all the fugitives with (fugitive killing gives a permanent stat boost which makes up for the crappy weapon, kind of). As far as the story mode grind, am up to 6 characters with four playthroughs complete. Three of these characters now have max levels and all weapons obtained. One has max levels but still needs some weapon farming. The last two of those need levels and weapon farming. Also have one character with three playthorughs done and all their allies recruited. Have two with two playthroughs done and all allies recruited. Have two more with two playthroughs done, but still need a few runs to wrap up ally recruitment. Only 5 remain that have a single playthrough completed and need three more, but one will need a fourth additional playthrough to finish ally recruitment. Am working on just knocking out recruiting allies and then will wrap up the runs for accessories and then from there farm for levels and weapons as needed. My remaining major grinds pretty much are recruiting allies (which needs between 1 and 4 playthroughs to finish on the remaining seven that still need allies), getting max level with the remaining twelve who need it and farming weapons with the remaining thirteen who need it. Also just chipping away at farming for levels and gear in Stranger of Sword City so the post game boss won't kick my ass. Well, more like bosses since it's about four in a row with no chance to save or heal between. Pretty much it comes down to all the good gear I find I lack the stats to use it, so I need more levels for better stats so I can use this awesome gear. It will come in time, I just only have so much patience for boring level grinding when the other game I'm playing is a grind as well.
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Happy New Year everybody! Didn't make a lot of trophy progress despite playing a lot. Thief 4 This is taken up a lot of time. No trophies popped but I am at 70% , I think....or should I say I hope ?. I am still worried that I missed some secret places and if so I need to replay it again.... Star Wars BF II (PS4) Didn't concentrate on trophies, just played is a lot and having fun. In a way I do work on the level 50 trophy. Shinobodi 2 (PSVita) Made some progress, forgot to save and had to redo it again......blech. So made hardly any trophy progress. Current Status: Plans for next week: - Progress on Star Wars BF II - MP - Thief 4; finish second (collectibles) run - Progress on Shinobido 2 Happy trophy hunting everybody!
Popular Post Together_Comic
So there I was realizing that I hadn't posted anything in the back half of December and not working on this list. You may ask TC what were you doing, and the answer is grinding through the Kingdom Hearts 3 Risk Taker Trophy. That trophy is awful full stop. But on a more positive note I'm back to working on this event. I have started Dragon Quest 11 and... what do you mean its not on my list... well it is now (swap 1/5). All joking aside, I realized that I just wasn't going to get to KC:D during this event. Mostly because I couldn't conjure a desire to play it so I opted for DQ11. So far I would describe it as a dragon quest game. Which is probably not particularly helpful, but it shares many of the same tropes as previous DQ games, with similar pacing, similar combat, etc. etc. The story hasn't really gripped me yet, though it has been my experience that dragon quest games are slow of the ground. I'll keep everyone posted. Here's what's left. 1. Everybody's Golf (100%) 31/31 2. Cuphead (0%) 3. Ni No Kuni (0%) 4. Mass Effect: Andromeda (1%) 5. Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Illusive Age (10%) 7/57 Kingdom Come: Deliverence (28%) ~TC Edited January 4, 2021 by Together_Comic

Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 9: My first update of the year, I am done with Vampyr which was fun and I loved the atmosphere and the combat was alright but I sort of hated the lack of fast travel or how your only avenue to help the citizens with any issue that isn't health related is to embrace someone in their circle which made my not even once run more depressing than I expected considering it's required for the best ending. Some of those citizens deserve to die they are so awful, at least killing pretty much everyone for the collectables was fun... although some had some dying last words that pulled some heartstring. I've also decided to make another swap, I started Sherlock Holmes and my gosh how much I have hated it, I'm not even sure what I don't like about it but I couldn't even finish the first case I dislike it so much so maybe some other time, when I am at a different headspace. I replaced with My time at Portia which I played a little on my sister PC a while ago and I enjoyed, the trophy list doesn't seem too complicated and I can play it as often or as spread out as I want without worrying about forgetting the controls (Which is why I haven't sat down to keep playing Darksiders or The Witcher). I am starting suspect I won't be able to finish all my games (again) and that I will roll a few to the next event. But we shall see, maybe I should change what is left with short games but I don't think I have any left in my backlog that i want to play during the next 7 weeks. Saw (PS3) - (30th November) 4. Persona 5 (PS4) - (2nd December) 5. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PS4) - 75% ➡️ (28th December) 6. Cat Quest (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 65% 7. Life is Strange 2 (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 36% 8. Immortals Fenyx Rising (PS4) - 12% ➡️ 20% 9. Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition (PS4) - 0% Swaps used: 4/5 Some decent new year's progress underway. I'm switching between games fairly regularly which is how I usually prefer to play. Saying that, I had a decent clean up stint on Immortals Fenyx Rising, ticking off a lot of the chests and puzzles in the 1st main area yesterday, so I may press on with that today. For me, there was definitely a gap in the market for a game with open world puzzles and dungeons (vaults). It's satisfying to quickly tick off objectives, collecting some currencies you need, and some that you don't really. The combat and enemies could be slightly more varied but it's enjoyable. A friend and I agreed it's the most we've bashed R2 in a game. The PS magazine I subscribe to here in the UK gave it 7/10. I'd give it nearer an 8 but not quite all the way there. Loading times are disappointing but what can you do, buy a PS5 right? I can confirm Cat Quest is bloody good fun. It's also £1.99 - pop it in your basket if you haven't got it! This is the game I turn on when I want to play a game pretty much straight away. PS4 on, game loaded, away we go. I'm going to revisit Immortals here, but it loads like Odyssey. 2-3 minutes to the main menu, 2-3 minutes to the game and then sometimes you realise you're not where you want and immediately fast travel for another minute or so. This plays a factor when I think "I want to play a game, right now." Cat Quest is yer boi for this. It just plays really well, isn't a complete piece of piss in terms of difficulty, and you can't help but enjoy the puns. Grindy bits to go now which I can't really call a grind, but I have just finished all the side quests at level 65 so I guess I'm dungeon clearing now. It feels like Life is Strange 2 is more impactful than the 1st one (and before the storm). Some of the decisions are genuinely hard to make as you think of the possible consequences. All of the main characters I've met so far have really added to the story and I like the subtle nods to the previous game(s). I didn't realise this before I played, but there's a free stand-alone game that you can choose to play before episode 2 which ties in with the episode nicely. I'm also reminded of how much I enjoy the journal entries that update throughout the story. Lovely game, 2 episodes down. I finished off The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and I was neither glad or disappointed it ended. As said before, its a tricky point and click with a bizarre plot that does keep the interest somewhat, but not much. Happy new year guys, stay safe.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
I haven't made much progress with my remaining games, choosing to get some very very old backlog titles out of the way before the Spring challenge kicks in. It's been kinda nice taking a load off and being in the back seat for a bit. But I'm already thinking about games for the next challenge. I'm really enjoying all the updates that people are submitting, it's been great to see the progress and focus happening ?
Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #13 Well I decided to start Chaos;Child. And, like Wintertide Miracles I noticed it didn't have a guide so might as well write that as well? I'm probably a bit nuts but I play sitting in front of my laptop anyway so it's easy to write things down as I work. So far I like it even though I'm not really sold on the in-game characters. I wish it looked more like the cover in art style. I like how dark it is, though. We have cannibalism within the first five minutes. I have to say, though, it's...probably one of my biggest disappointments I've played. I'm really interested in the plot but don't really like any of the characters. Popular Post StilRh
Sunday update: Managed to get my first platinums of this year, Fenyx and Maneater. Fenyx was a really charming, though started to get stale when going for the ~90% map completion for the platinum. I did encounter some bugs where puzzle elements or bosses would despawn making progression impossible until I rebooted the game. I would recomend, especially as it's on sale. Maneater was quite dumb but a fun and short distraction. I saw it on PS+ and I couldn't not add it to my list. I now plan to play my PS4 backlog games having transfered data to my PS5, though I may add a PS now/+ title if I get bored. I don't plan on getting anything new until Ys IX or Atelier Ryza 2 come out. Popular Post HaserPL
On 20.08.2020 at 1:46 AM, HaserPL said: 11. Alien Breed 3: Descent - 0% 100%; 3. Prince of Persia - 16% 32% 46%; #Update #172 Finally, finished Alien Breed trilogy! Also done some progress on Prince of Persia, but that will be the topic of another update. What more can I say about Alien Breed? I thought it couldn't get any worse, but I was wrong. Trophy-wise, it was the easiest out of the trilogy, but still tedious nonetheless. I was going to try and not compare it to Dead Nation, but as DN was the best twin-stick shooter I've played, I cannot help myself but do it anyway. This is going to be about pretty much the entire trilogy because they are all pretty much the same game, just split into 3 parts, probably due to financial reasons. Story? Generic as hell, nothing worth experiencing. Soundtrack? What soundtrack? Gameplay? Boring, boring, and boring. That sums it up perfectly. Backtracking is almost on par with Alien Isolation's, each game has 5 chapters, and even with so small amount of them, they still reused some of the layouts, it's just laughable. Enemy spawns are just stupid, you can stand in one place, and aliens will just spawn in front of you for a minute or two until you kill enough of them. Spawn points look as if someone in the dev team had drawn a layout of the chapter on a pretty big wall, opened up a can of peas or beans, threw that into the wall, and said "these are gonna be spawns!". Shitty hit detection and tight areas with hordes of enemies would be fine, if the game had a dodge mechanic as DN has, that would have helped a lot with having a failsafe when you get ambushed which happens often, but the game doesn't even off something as simple as that. Even choosing your weapons or gadgets is painful, if you are getting swarmed it's safer to just stick to the weapon and gadget you have, because trying to change them may get you killed. Yeah, fun as hell. Overall I rate the entire trilogy with 3/10. Avoid it if you don't want to have a miserable time. Now I'll focus on finishing Prince Of Persia, as I'm playing on a digital copy I cannot do the glitch so I will probably have to do two playthroughs, but that's okay, Castlevania Lords of Shadow also requires two playthroughs so I will just play them once and then continue after a short break. Have a great week lads, and stay safe, cheers!
