Welcome new user! We would like to you know that boosting topics are not allowed here. Except for when they arbitrarily are. Oh, and we now have warning points lined up for you when you get it wrong. Good luck and have fun!

It's their responsibility to read, understand and follow the rules. It's your job to enforce the rules and make sure they're aware of their mistake.

Locking a thread and leaving it sitting on the forum does no good, because the request is still in full view of the forum members and their PSN ID is still on display, so their boosting request is still just as effective since it remains afterwards.

Warning points or similar disciplinary action should be the first step towards upholding the guidelines. Eventually, your job should become easier, but over the past few years, it seems Moderators are spending an increasing amount of time locking threads daily instead.

I think another way to approach the situation is to make a dedicated boosting/session thread for each game that would include an embedded session.

I do think all boosting threads should be deleted to ensure people don't think that it is okay to make them. But there should be an automated message sent out informing them how sessions work or a link to a dedicated boosting thread.

When you get these done, you can then look into combining the game subsections in the forums where the only difference is in their region. Don't know how many sections like this exist, but there are bunches.

@Beyondthegrave07 just do a content search for "https://psnprofiles.com/sessions" from the the top forum page and (make sure you put the " quotations in.) 99% should pop up if they were ever responded to.

Yes, @Kittet3 pointed this out. However, unfortunately, I can soft delete them all at once and will have to do them all individually. Still helps with the cleanup though and I still don't mind threads being reported here.
