The story is so good, and the music is great. Keep an eye out for all the monsters to complete the bestiary, I missed 2 about half way through the game and had to do a second playthrough on NG+ to finish it Camera-wise it was made worse by the fact I tend to play inverted vertical too - and apparently setting it before starting the game didn't carry over into the gameplay! The damn thing just went the opposite to where I wanted it and I don't think there's a way to change it in-game, only from the main menu! ? Quirks aside, I'm definitely looking forward to sinking my teeth into it. I've skimmed a guide for a couple things to look out for, but I'm happy to do a second run if I miss anything important

Was hoping to finish sequence 4 tonight, but ran out of steam. Will continue with the story tomorrow for sure. I plan on getting to the final sequence. Seeing how I only have one memory left in sequence 4 and sequence 5 only has two memories, shouldn't be too difficult to do. Popular Post Dzware
Almost forgot I was in this event, but here I am with my first update: I finished both TLOU2 and Jotun! I really liked TLOU2, both gameplay and story wise, though I do feel it's much longer than it needs to be, so it got boring at times during my first playtrough last year, and even more so doing an extra 2 playtroughs the past month, also the 200+ collectables didn't help at all lol. Using accessibility settings did make grounded and perma-death a breeze though, so I at least never got frustrated. Jotun is a beautiful game with pretty fun boss fights, with some of them being quite a challenge, especially on Valhalla mode (basically the hard mode of this game). The trophy list is full of defeating the bosses under certain conditions, like using no special powers or not taking any damage during a fight, which is the type of list I do like. Only thing I liked less was that the difficulty felt a bit unfair at times, especially cause there's no i-frames at all when getting hit, so it happened multiple times that I died from full health because I kept getting hit while still in the recovery animation, this was especially annoying in the final boss fight, where he can attack you with 4-5 attacks at once. I also made good progress in Blazblue, I'm completele done with the online and all the character specific misc. trophies, and almost done with unlocking 100% of the gallery as well, which would leave me with just the abyss grind left to do. I've already tried a few runs of stage 3 of abyss mode, but couldn't finish them yet, though I feel like that's mainly cause I didn't handle my stats and items well enough. My list: The Last of Us Part II - 45% --> 100% DOOM - 33% WipEout Omega Collection - 25% --> 27% Letter Quest Remastered - 19% Freedom Wars - 10% --> 26% Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend - 8% --> 77% inFamous - 7% Jotun - 0% --> 100% Swaps: 1/2

Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 3.0.: We’re at the second half of the month and the time flew, wow... I wanted to post this earlier, but I couldn’t as I was really busy with other stuff and until now, I can share with you my progress. I’m impressed with the progress of many of you here; good job and well done! You definitely keep me up to continue in this kind of challenges and giving the best for my experience as a gamer and for the sake of entertainment and fun :D. Despite that, I managed to play a lot and have modest progress, and I think it is valuable to say that I’m doing it well. Time to explain my progress with you, amazing gamer mates! In these weeks, I've been constantly playing three of the list, and managed to get moderate progress on them. Enjoying them so far, despite few trophies are highly tricky and are a grind, sadly. Anyway, that isn't going to stop me, and I'll try to push forward a little, as the next few weeks going to be busy and won't be able to play as much I wish. Thus far, the enjoyment of these games have been high and hope I can express myself about my experience on them. Slowly completing them as they take time away, but the progress goes, so don't worry. Enjoy the ride, so let's talk about them! Mortal Kombat X ~ 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ~ 100% Ghostrunner ~ 27% → 86% Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition ~ 22% → 55% Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ~ 0% → 5% Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 ~ 0% Hey @Crispy_Oglop buddy, appreciate that was helpful to you! Yep, Ghostrunner is incredibly addicting, and simply telling is fun is to fall short... really short. The skill needed for it at first glance looks impossible, but becomes better. The atmosphere, the pace and the way you push forward will definitely draw how can be experienced. To say this games is superb, is to fall short. Despite my PS4 freezes on 30fps at heavy and heated battles and the fluidity of such becomes awry at moments, the rushing adrenaline to killing all enemies becomes super intuitive at the end, but not to say you must be quicker; you need to be smarter too. Moving around, covering or blocking attacks can fit perfectly, on certain portions but doesn’t apply for all situations. I was looking into my profile and I noticed that was really close to achieve a milestone, so I dedicated to pursue more trophies until the fathomed 2000th trophy appeared. And I’m satisfied with the result. The named matched exactly what I intended, and the following, was even more adequate for such moment. They are “Perfection” and “Control freak” and those descriptions are right for what I was doing, LMAO. This is game is almost one, just picking up more collectibles and finishing a few miscellaneous trophies. The story mode for Tomb Raider is something I was expecting, and I like it already. It has the adventure feeling in the middle of a Japanese island with a bunch of bad guys following a strange cult for survival. Where did I hear that elsewhere? Anyway, the game is fun, not going to lie, and I finally managed to get to level 60 on multiplayer after several days of grinding. Aside from that, the game plays well, and even few trophies can be considered a pain in the ass, having to play it at your pace can be fulfilling too. Having to look around for collectibles isn’t that difficult, thankfully as you can backtrack everything, and despite you need to climb or pass through areas you’ve been there before but at times they aren’t accessible again until very later. Lara is the seal of quality here. The redesign of her appearance doesn’t make her less sexy, on the contrary, you can even make her hotter to please the eye meanwhile you’re roaming in the considerably semi-open world that the game presents . The mechanics are solid, despite I found incredibly unbalanced and annoying the fact you can sprint on multiplayer and not on story mode; the faster Lara can go is just by jumping or rolling out through… like I mean, why you include a feature in other mode when it isn’t present in the core part first? Nevertheless, this game has a lot of fun, and you can play it to your leisure, despite if you’re looking for trophies in a single walkthrough (which I recommend because sometimes the annoying ones are the missables!) this is a really nice experience and a cheap one, as its on sale very often, and thanks to PS+, you could have the trilogy in your pocket But the prize for longest and grindiest game form the above goes for COD: BO4! Yeah, I don’t know why Activision likes to include complex and heavy luck dependent trophies in this first-person shooter, even more if they rely a lot on multiplayer, sigh. Also, as previous games in the franchise, a very dense focus is placed on zombie mode, despite the game is about pseudo-tactical, high-pitched matches between teams 5 vs 5 typically. But I can see why the community was split with this entry. The lack of a campaign was a huge misstep, the graphic engine takes so long to render the textures even if you run with 50 Mbps stable, and sometimes you’ll face many glitches and bugs along the way. I haven’t started the zombies yet, which is, as I’m saying, the core part of the game, apparently (like ~85% of the game percentage relate to that mode…). Specifically speaking about the trophies, the ones related to the battle royale are insanely hard. They are supposed to be that way, of course, that only the “best players” could get them, and well, they didn’t miss that part out… except that they did it with other intent. You can play on squads and have a lot of help from highly skilled people, and those requirements for unlocking characters becomes easier as you go along. Also, you can find sweats/tryhards in matches, as people came back from 3 years ago and people who still play the game thanks to the PS+ offering this month, much of the people you can encounter too are candies/noobs too, as many people are unfamiliar with the genre. The game mode itself isn’t than bad, but as any battle royale, can become frustrating as if you don’t know how to be aggressive or how to properly gunfight with the normal COD controls, you’ll may be thought to move onto other type of shooters. This feels like Apex Legends in some way, and this feeling is natural since the boom from the genre was in middle or late 2018 if I recall correctly, a year after PUBG became mainstream and Fortnite consolidated it. By the normal Multiplayer, you’ll have your traditional COD experience in that matter. Hectic battles along in a short map where several objectives to pick up are available, and you can play in teams or solo. I’m super familiar with this, since I played a lot when I was younger, and this is the experience many of us have in the early days of games with MP. Yes, people are unforgiving too, but you’ll quickly catch the mechanic and can move around the matches, earning EXP and winning too; I can’t say much about it as I haven’t explored it to its fullest, but I’m sure you get what I mean, LOL. Well, this has been the trip at the moment. A variety of games with different genres but with a shared essence in the deep. I’m looking forward to seeing how you guys progress in the following weeks, too! I’m excited by my progress so far and, and hope you’re too. This has been my experience so far, thanks for reading me this time around and see you next time with newer and better entries. This hasn’t finished just yet, but my confidence in this is solid, so hope to finish in time and see how I develop once again Happy hunting everyone!

Popular Post be_minor
Update #3: Happy to report I’ve cleared two more games from my backlog: What Remains of Edith Finch and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. I somehow remained spoiler-free for What Remains of Edith Finch before playing. And my goodness, what a heartbreaking, yet hauntingly beautiful experience. It’s been more than a week since I’ve completed it, and I still think about some of the story beats before falling asleep. I won’t spoil anything, but I’d definitely highly recommend playing through it, at least once. LEGO Batman 2 wasn’t nearly as remarkable, but for a LEGO game, it’s one of the better ones. The PS3 LEGO games are a bit more straightforward with collectibles than the later iterations. I’d also like to add A Plague Tale: Innocence to my list. I’ve been eying it since its release, and with PS+ giving it away this month, there’s no time like the present! Red = Haven’t startedGreen = Progress madeBlue = Completed 100% 1. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 12 - Sorry for not updating for a little while folks, I was going to post something mid-week last week but I had my second vaccine dose and it completely took me out of action for a couple of days, feeling better now though and ready to update . Since my last update I fell into a pretty good rhythm with Outriders and managed to get the platinum. Overall I really loved this game! It was a little rough around the edges in parts from a direction standpoint - e.g there were times where transitions from cutscenes to action were a little jarring and weirdly paced. Sometimes the sound took a while to catch up or cut out completely to fit the subsequent action scene, or ambient dialogue conversations between you and another character would suddenly cut off if you entered combat. It was lot's of little rough feeling things that didn't damage the overall experience, but they were definitely noticeable. The only thing that really bothered me was the fact that despite being a game that can be played entirely single player, the game only works if you are online all the time, you don't have the option to turn it on and the game flat-out won't work without a connection, which is a really weird decision The story and the world-building for me was the real star of the show and while the pacing lagged a bit mid-way, it was so worth it to hit the really exciting finale. This was honestly one of the darkest science-fiction stories i've ever experienced in a video-game. The way the opening sets you up for exploring a beautiful alien world only for it to descend into a dark and grimy hellscape was one of the most compelling openings to a game I've played in a long time. It really doesn't pull any punches when it comes to some of the awful things we can do to each other as a species and the ending really hammers that home and then some. Gameplay-wise, it ticked some good boxes for me - I really liked the class-based abilities you could wield. At some point during the opening of the game, something happens to you which prompts a choice to be made - I went for the Devastator class which used alot of shockwaves, bullet reflection, rock armor and so on. Once you've opened a few up (they are gradually opened up to you as you level) you can have alot of fun playing around with different combinations to get some synergy going. I also really liked the loot here too, it was in abundance, rarity based and really added some satisfying complexity to your build with armor mods that could enhance your powers and weapon mods that could add special effects to your gun combat, like sending out a flaming shockwave every time you reloaded, or a mod that added a freezing element to bullets which encased the target in ice. Post-game content amounted to something called expeditions, triggered by something that happens at the end of the game, and amount to larger dungeon-style scenarios which award loot based on an overall performance determined when each one concludes. I enjoyed them up to a point, but some of the trophies pushed you to grind quite a bit in them. The reason being there are hundreds of enemies to fight in each expedition, so grinding out kills, kills with class abilities etc necessary for some of the trophies ended up being a bit of a chore. If you do want to pick this game up and like looter shooters with decent science fiction stories - I highly recommend it. If you also want to aim for the platinum, I would highly recommend keeping in mind two specific trophies from the beginning - Outrider, First Class and Been everywhere, Done it all both of which are really grindy at the end if you didn't pay much attention to them from the beginning. They will basically determine how long your post game grind is depending on when you started working on the requirements which, like a fool, I didn't do ? Anyway that's it for Outriders, I'll definitely be picking up the expansions they are currently working on, but for now, it's going on my shelf until then. Next up is to carry on with Nier:Replicant! Hope everyone is doing okay! See you in the next update! Mass Effect Watch Dogs: Legion - 54% > 91% [Blocked] Mass Effect 2 Cosmic Top Secret Mass Effect 3 ✅ Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (additional trophy set) - 100% ✅ Subnautica: Below Zero Outriders Nier:Replicant - 7% > 15% Edited July 26, 2021 by Crispy_Oglop

I wasn't huge on the gameplay of The Order back when I first tried it, and combining that with needing to carefully keep track of collectibles, I only made it just past the third chapter. Restarted and it went smoothly, thankfully. Only took me nearly four years to finish a ten-ish hour game. *cough* The ending left a lot of things open, which is a bit annoying when a sequel seems unlikely... Think Lego Batman 2's been waiting for a turn nearly as long as I've had my PS3, but GAH. If I had known how glitchy that was going to be, I'd have tossed it out the window ages ago (bad disc or something?). Nothing game-breaking, thankfully, but many level-breaking and some falling through objects and getting stuck in the open world. Highlighting things on the map got wonky near the end, opening the map from a terminal nearly always bumped back and required going in again. Grabbing things while jumping would randomly fail on occasion, or more entertainingly, Batman would try for a world record in fastest pull-ups instead of actually jumping (thanks, level 11). It's really a shame; picking it back up a couple days ago after a rough week, I was pretty happy to have something laid-back started and waiting. The story's pretty funny, and they give you a large -though slow to complete- roster to play around with in the open world or replaying levels. May have just been bad luck. Popular Post ExHaseo
Finally used my first swap this week to swap out Fatal Bullet with Nexomon Extinction. Which I then finished. It scratched the itch Pokemon used to scratch before gen VI happened and the game just got painfully easy. Having to rely on RNG for a lot of the post game legendaries was kind of frustrating, since it took me about 10 hours to get a single one (the others only took about an hour each). Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. It's a really impressive game, especially since it was mostly made by just one person. I hope more games get released in this series. Probably going to play South Park next. Mainly because my hands have been giving me problems and I can't do action games right now. Popular Post Heather342
Update 8 Another week gone by, and the only game I've been playing is The Witcher. I have to say, I'm absolutely loving this game. Although my PlayStation has been protesting a lot, we had a heatwave in the UK last week and the PS4 may have got close to overheating on a few occasions ? Progress wise, a lot of my time was spent mainly clearing up the side quests and making sure I did not miss any of the missable Gwent cards. My deck is looking pretty good, and I seem to win more matches than lose. The rest of the weekend I'll be looking for the remaining merchants to buy cards off and then I think I'll be ready for the tournament (and hoping that the trophy will pop for collecting all the cards!). Story wise, I finished the main plot threads in Novigrad and Skellige, so will be heading into the end game soon. I'm currently level 25, so when I get nearer to 30 I can start on the DLC content too. I did manage to get 2 DLC trophies, one of those was for killing 20 cows....I felt terrible, but the things we do for trophies ? Trophy progress The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt - 28 -> 50% Keep up the great work everyone!
Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Update time. Even with work and health I managed to do a fair bit of gaming this week. I was taken in by the sale and also the release of excellent metroidvania game Ender Lilies but did spend some time on my challenge games. Even with an entire month left I wonder if I will complete everything lol. I played a few levels in desperados, suddent strike, and cuphead but only have trophies for Assassins Creed and Nier (completed first ending and collected a bunch of weapons and farmed for upgrade mats) to show for it. This week I'm quite busy on my days off. I'd like to get a platinum in a very special game to mark plat #225, but not sure which to shoot for. I think I'll play a bit of everything this week and see how it shakes out. Have a great week!
