Servers shutting down August 12, 2022 - Offline bots don't count for trophies

I managed to nab the platinum and all MP trophies! I didn't bother doing the standalone DLC, I just wanted to go for the 100% marker on the game itself.

The only thing I have left to do is the Elite difficulty, but that can be done after the shutdown so I'm not rushing it.

If you have PS Extra, you can download Intercept Stand Alone and trophies will autopop. There 5 or so trophies that will still need to be earned, but they do not take too much time compared to the 50 wins.

I am finally finished with the online. It took me around 4 days and 14 hours for the main game + all DLC so i would say i invested around 50/55 hours. I played a bit regular like I normally don't do. So i would say 10 to 12 hours everyday, but it's still very doable if you consider thinking about starting the game.

That means you need to start investing your time each day for about 10 hours if you wanna beat the shutdown. You also need 1 partner for some abiltities, because they will help to speed up things (just my opinion). I boosted, Hacking, Stealing, Supply, Shield, Spawn Beacon, Revives with a partner. Make sure your partner has the spawn abilitie active, so he spawns every second with a Turbo controller on equipped. I also boosted the grenades as well, which you need for Weapon Specialist. You need to kill 10 players with the Limpet grenade which is unlockable once you get 25 kills with the Frag grenade.

As for the coop what worked for me, i did 2 player coop on The Market map. Worked perfectly for me all the time. It was a very doable map to win on. If you still have difficulties, you can just stay inside of the building were you can bank points and keep killing until you reach the 1000 points, this works also as reviving your partner all the time until the 1000 points are reached. Just make sure that you don't die, otherwise those points are gone. It will take longer but it works. I prefer just to capture the stuff, and kill the ambushing bots to stop taking over, than it will be a quik win. I also made airstrike calls, turret calls, and mini gun, jet pack calls for most of the time.

That just worked great as a strategy, and i was making sure i was playing as Assault and my partner as Scout (Turret guy), he also changed to Medic as well from time to time. So in case he could revive me and such and supply whenever it was needed. I mostly got around 8 min runs on that map to average around 12 min tops.

(I sadly still didn't got a official answer to my response yet from Guerrilla), they said they have no idea if they can do that, and they will let me know again, that already sounds not hopeful. So do not get your hopes on that for now, just work your way to finish it fast and you can beat it like me in 4 days. This multiplayer grind also reminded me a lot with Far Cry 2 boosting that i did recently, but Far Cry 2 was a lot easier to boost and more fun imo . Good luck to all of you, you can do it!

You thought Far Cry 2 was more fun/easier to boost? I didn't think this grind was too bad and FC2 is on my to do list. Should I go for it?

Edit: Somehow it tripled my post. ?‍♂️

I once swore to myself that I'd never hide a list, but I think this might be an exception to the rule. I remember why I stopped playing it way back when it first came out.

This camera movement induces hella motion sickness for some reason.

Far Cry 2 is hell. Do not listen to this madman. The grind in Shadow Fall is nothing compared to Far Cry 2.

Not going to make it :,)

Guerrilla managed to align this period with me not being able to do even one uninterrupted day of grinding. Even though I managed to scrape every free minute to get to 700k/1M, there is nothing else I can do. 3 weeks notice, that's Sony for you. For the players.

I'm guessing even though I have highest Supply Box, the offline botzone won't help me out, right?

I don't think I'm gonna make it, still need 150 more cloak kills to finish scout but I still need weapons and abilities for the other two classes as of today.

If it wasn't for the massive Ubisoft closure I may have had enough time, I will still try regardless, wish me luck!

Appreciate all the tips and strats posted here, thanks to y'all I managed to finish all the base game and Insurgent online trophies. Still got all of Intercept left (except for Necromancer), and like the last couple of posts have mentioned, I don't know if I'll make it. ?

I wanted to take the time to thank y'all for all of the tips and advice. I wish everyone the best of luck in getting their MP trophies done.

On a side note, I would be slightly annoyed if GG ended up patching the Offline Botzone so the trophies are still obtainable.

For 50 wins, you can solo each match as medic at containment city in about 15-17 minutes.  Takes about 12-15 hours if starting from 0

The other kill & bank trophies are doable within a few good matches...

Still got time, but not much

Does anyone know if the standalone list could be auto-popped offline? Is anyone willing to test if the game pops the trophies from the save file, rather than a server? That'd be a game changer for me...for...reasons 1f605.png

No, it can't be.

I boosted Far Cry 2 with 3 consoles and it was a easier experience overall, since I could both alt accounts just idle like that. So it wasn’t too bad of a boost while listening to some podcasts.

Imo you should go for it if you have a extra console or either 3 systems if you ask me, so you can do pretty much everything yourself except the 16 player trophy. Of course this is my personal opinion and not a recommendation. And the boost is just simple kill X times players with that weapon and that weapon. Still you most do 10k kills, and each day you can work on a few weapons here and there. My experience from myself is that I did it with 3 PS3s so it wasn’t bad at all.

Killzone Shadowfall on the other hand wasn’t too bad either yes, but I found it much more boring to do vs bots. Just my personal experience overall. The coop on the other hand was really enjoyable.

Ok madman, overall I found it straight forward and easy to do the online trophies in Far Cry 2 and I did not suffer at all, not everyone of course has multiple consoles laying around. And than the game will become a struggle of course for some people. But I’d say if you have 3 PS3 it will be a piece of cake of a boost, and you don’t even have to move the alt accounts you killing. They will spawn perfectly all the time. But still it wasn’t too bad what people said about it. And it was my opinion not a recommendation as I said earlier if you carefully read.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I only have one console, but I thought about picking up a second one to self boost some games. Does a third console make it a lot easier? If so, I might be able to borrow my friend's PS3 for an easier time.

Just finished the Multiplayer and Co-Op trophies so all that's left is that Campaign. I actually had a ton of fun playing this game years ago. Darn shame we didn't get more time before the shutdown but oh well. Farewell, Killzone Shadow Fall. Thanks for introducing me to the series.
