Popular Post Abby_TheLastofUs
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 (PS5 | PS4) - 89 Metacritic Score | 8.7 User Score Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5 | PS4) - 84 Metacritic Score | 8.1 User Score Little Nightmares (PS4) - 78 Metacritic Score | 8.1 User Score Game info Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a remaster of the PS1 skateboarding games Tony Hawks Pro Skater, and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2. Although the collection is advertised as a remaster of the first two games in the series, it's really feels more like a remake. Not only is it glaringly obvious how different the graphics of Pro Skater 1 + 2 are from the original PS1 releases, but Pro Skater 1 + 2 also features gameplay elements that were introduced in later entries of the series. The collection also features additional skaters that weren't in the PS1 games. Critics and users responded positively to the game, which was seen as a comeback for the series that had been left in a bad place after 2015's much derided Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. A lot of praise went to how the game incorporated gameplay mechanics from later entries in the series, the expanded roster (along with the redesigns of the original roster), and the game's soundtrack. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the eighth mainline entry in the Yakuza/Ryū ga Gotoku franchise, and is something of a very soft reboot for the franchise. While still connected to prior entries in the series, Like a Dragon features a brand new protagonist and is a turn-based RPG instead of an action-adventure brawler. Despite the shift from the series' usual protagonist and its starkly different gameplay, Like a Dragon was praised by critic and users, with a particular focus on the game's writing and humor. Some even went as far as to call it the best entry in the series. The only consistent line of criticism that the game was subjected to was that due to its length, the turn-based battle system could start to feel repetitive towards the end of the game. Little Nightmares is a puzzle-platform horror adventure game from Tarsier Studios, a developer that had worked with Media Molecule on several games. Released in 2017, Little Nightmares was the first game for Tarsier Studios where they were the sole leading developer and it was released to positive reception. Much praise went to its atmosphere, it's interesting and tension-filled take on horror and how it presented its story. The gameplay revolves around solving puzzles while running and staying hidden from enemies. If you're a fan of games like Inside, you might want to check out Little Nightmares. Trophy Hunting The PSNProfiles trophy guide for Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 by Charizarzar gives it a difficulty rating of 8/10, with a estimated platinum time of 70 hours. The PlayStation Trophies trophy guide also gives it a difficulty rating of 8/10, with the platinum taking 80 hours. PowerPyx's guide too gives the platinum a difficulty rating of 8/10 that takes 90+ hours to achieve. Every one of them seems to agree that achieving the platinum is going to be a lengthy and challenging endeavor. The list is both grindy and challenging. Some of the grindy trophies are multiplayer related but can be done solo with two controllers. The only online trophy is Creative, which requires you to upload a park design. Going for the platinum means completing every goal, challenge, getting every gold medal, and reaching career level 100. Nothing is missable, although it's been reported that one of the collectible trophies, The Truth Is In Here, can be a little buggy. Yakuza: Like A Dragon's PSNProfiles trophy guide by FIDO1337 gives the game a difficulty rating of 5/10, taking upwards of 80 hours to platinum. This is identical to the PlayStation Trophies guide. PowerPyx's guide rates the difficulty a 6/10, and the platinum time ranging from 70 to 100 hours. Nothing in the game is missable, so you can play the game at your own pace and check out the trophy guide once you're done with the story if you want to avoid spoilers. Your main challenge is going to come from grinding and then going for the Victory of the Millennium trophy. Little Nightmares' PSNProfiles trophy guide by spacey_dweeb and Man_of_Inaction give it a difficulty rating of 5/10, taking about 8 hours made of two playthroughs. Technically it's possible to get every trophy in the base game in one playthrough, but this would mean rushing through the game and already being so familiar with it that you could speedrun it while getting all the collectibles. There are eight missable trophies, 3 of which pertain to collectibles. While there is a chapter select option, there is one collectible in chapter 4 that can not be acquired by starting on chapter 4 through chapter select, so you'll have to watch out for that one. As the guide suggests, I too would recommend not looking up a guide for your first playthrough and instead play through the game naturally. It's pretty short, and you might find yourself in need of practicing stages anyway in order to get the speedrun trophy. In order to 100% the trophy list, you'll need to purchase three DLCs, each priced at $3.99. The DLCs trophy lists are much easier due to the lack of any speedrun trophies. Each one has a trophy guide on PSNProfile, also written by spacey_dweeb and Man_of_Inaction. These DLCs also have trophies for collectables, as well as a few other missables. I’ve read very very good feedbacks about Yakuza, TH is not my type of game, but for sure is something rare in this world of story driven open world games
Mr_Bandicoot93
Nice then I don’t have to inject the disc in Tony Hawk anymore. Maybe I have more motivation to try the Platinum trophie again

Well not happy about receiving a game we already have in Extra for the 3rd month in a row. Never liked Skating games and I've tried to play Yakuza a few times but can just never get into them, not saying those 2 are bad games just not for me. Tell me the full review of Like A Dragon 2 is imminent, without telling me the reveal is imminent ????? I am so exited that people get to try such an excellent game for 'free' now, especially since it has been almost four years since we last had a Yakuza title on the service (Kiwami in November '18). I bought Like A Dragon on release to support the series (remember the wait for Yakuza 5? I remember), still haven't played it, but I'm not even mad; more people getting a taste of this sublime series is always a good thing. Will work wonders for the Trophy rarity of both stacks too, which is really rather high for such a long and involved Platinum. Don't sleep on this game if you've never played Yakuza or are ambivalent about JRPGs, you have got to try it Edited July 27, 2022 by Golem25
