Popular Post PraiseTheFluppi
I'd like to join I filled the card with the games I completed so far this year. I'm not too sure about the 'Ultra Rare Platinum' box though. I've completed the story in Monster Hunter Rise, but I don't have the ultra rare platinum yet. Should I leave it unchecked until I have unlocked any ultra rare plat? ? N1: By an Independent Developer - Happy's Humble Burger Farm O2: Featuring a Romance or Romance Options - The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt (PS5)N5: Ultra Rare Platinum - Monster Hunter Rise G5: That you can beat in one sitting - Nun Massacre
Popular Post Shivora
Chorus is completed for Non-Human Sidekick. Your ship, Forsa is sentient and have constant conversations with the protagonist even though by the end I just wished they'd both shut up and let me fight because the combat is great fun and easily the best part of the game. A fun and straight-forward platinum, only the mastery trophies are a bit grindy. Popular Post Platinum_Vice
End of Feb update: WipEout: Omega Collection definitely has player-operated vehicles which is fairly fortunate for me as I don't think that I have many games with vehicles in them. What was once a staple for gameplay variety in the PS1, PS2 and PS3 generations has fallen off for PS4 and PS5 unless a game specifically revolves around the use of vehicles. For better or worse. Crash Bandicoot 4 on PS5 is the most recent game that I have acquired. The DualSense does horrible things with input delay. And Backbone has no humans. A central theme is dependent on the class differences between the many different animal species in the world.
Popular Post Finch_III
This is my second monthly update. A couple of days early, but I won't have much time to game this week. B4 – Marvel's Midnight Suns – Okay, so I picked this for my 'Hype!' game. Not because there was a tremendous amount of industry hype (there wasn't) or because I'm a massive Marvel fan (I'm not), but because it's a biggish budget deck-builder, and I'm a huge fan of deck-builders. I really enjoyed the game; there were a ton of characters to play as, and the mix of deck-building and strategy kept things interesting. I got the platinum, but not 100% because I'm too cheap to buy the DLC at full price at the moment. G4 – Hidden Agenda – The peripheral for this game is your smartphone, and you need to use two smartphones in conjunction for some of the co-op/competitive trophies. Hidden Agenda has been on my backlog for ages, largely because I was too lazy to sort out two smartphones. But this challenge finally gave me the impetus to finish it off. It's a reasonably interesting decision-based narrative tale about a serial killer called The Trapper. As with many of these games, going through and getting all the endings is a bit tedious, but the game itself holds up okay after six years! G5 – Doki Doki Literature Club Plus – Really enjoyed this. Such a quirky game, and while it doesn't translate across quite as well on console as it presumably did on PC, it was still a ton of fun. It's a tough game to describe without heading into spoiler territory, but it's definitely work checking out if you like a genre mash-up with a bit of a satirical twist. Just Monika.
Popular Post candicejean
Update #1 - I2: The Turing Test - fun little puzzle game akin to something like Portal, knocked out the 100% while it was still available on PS+ G1: Cat Quest II - didn't enjoy this one quite as much as Cat Quest, wasn't a fan of the dual characters, but still a pretty good time
Popular Post Yen-Pop
WELP definitely not able to maintain January's momentum, but hey that's the dice you roll with Rogue-Lites. I played Going Under for G4 Female Protagonist. Honestly even if you're not a huge fan of that genre, which I'm not, Going Under is so much fun I can't help but recommend it - I wish there were more than just 3 main levels to grind through though. Rogue-lites historically are not my jam, but I may have to rethink that after this one! SaGa games are not for everyone due to the fact that you grind out stats instead of levels, and there is level scaling in a way, but I eventually took the whole thing in stride and after a couple of weeks I got this knocked out. I meant to get into this sooner but having to push the limits again was frustrating. I forgot how powerful the ultimate boss becomes and I had to reset several times. Luckily I was able to quicksave just before the boss. I then had to get one more character(one more mech) and thank goodness it was done! It's a nice game with a lot of narrative but it requires a lot of guides to avoid missing stuff. The New Game+ feature and the ability to quick save before boss fights was very helpful. I recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit more interesting.
Yuber6969
Finished The Language of Love for the "Banned/Censored in a Country" category. Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- (That You Meant to Play Last Year) - Self-explanatory. Smoots Summer Games (That You Can Beat in One Sitting) - The story equivalent can be finished in about an hour. The plat can also be finished in one sitting if you have the skill for it (which I didn't). Bakumatsu Rock: Ultra Soul (Historical Fiction or Mythology) - The story takes place in the 19th century. I looked into this through this forum's thread on censored games and learned that this game was censored... did it have a sex scene in it that had to be removed? I know there is a trophy showing a rubber ducky in a bath saying "You stepped in on Kyoko", so I am assuming that there is a scene where the main character accidentally walks in on Kyoko while she's bathing and they show her breasts or something so that was probably why it was censored, but I'm curious. (Not to the point where I am going to replay that game without skipping because I don't care about visual novels.)

Popular Post Shivora
Rocket League is completed and I'll add it to the You Think Will Dislike spot. I like almost every genre, but I usually dislike online focused games. My friend made me try this out almost 6 years ago when I didn't really care about trophies and completion, it was sitting in my backlog of regret since. In the end it turned out to be great fun to play with my girlfriend, we never really got into matches where we were seriously outmatched and the trophies are totally doable. Popular Post stuthesheep
Marking off another one, its O5 with the 2018 God of War. Seems to actually be a fair amount of debate as to whether this is classed as a reboot, however how much of that argument is simply internet nerds being internet nerds is another question entirely. In my mind, moving from Greek mythology to Norse, not to mention the move to a more RPG-style of play, is enough to sell it as a reboot to me. Popular Post ExHaseo
Quick update. 3 more done. Arcade, Rhythm, or Puzzle - Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Final Bar Line - Fantastic game. I really wish more rhythm games would be like this and have more than just a list off songs and press buttons at the right time. Sci-Fi or Fantasy Themes - Dante's Inferno - This game really wanted to be PS2 era God of War. Strategy, Simulation, or Management - The Princess Guide - It was okay. Not a whole lot to say about it. You get a good taste of what it's like just looking at the cover.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
It's been two weeks since I've completed the last game, but I've never updated it since I thought I could finish Call of the mountain quicker, but then I got sick, and playing VR with a headache to begin with wasn`t my brightest idea. So the update: I've finished I Saw Black Clouds for I1, which was okay for an FMW, not felt the story, but can't enjoy them all. Well to be more precise, the different story paths aren't that great, but the first watch was good. I`ve also made my decision on the games for I3 and N3. I3 is going to be The Ascent, already played the PS5 version for the game, and I know that I don't enjoy the game much, but the plus side to other games on the isometric view list I googled is that I own it already. So I'm stacking it for the challenge N3 is going to be Alice in Wonderland. A jigsaw puzzle that carried me through the sickness. It's calm and relaxing and I liked putting together the pieces and listening to audio books on my couch.

I tend to always platinum The Deadly Tower of Monsters in EVERY account for several reasons: I had it on my oldest account still active in my PS4 since forever and a day. It's very easy to platinum, you just have to get to the final checkpoint, you do not even need to fight the final boss. Well, you do need to hit the final checkpoint, but it's not that hard. I did die a few times to fall damage. Everything else is just collectibles and you can use a guide for those. It is cheesy B-movie humor. It was cheap years ago and I never got rid of it, so it's on my backlog. It was produced by the people who produced the Persona series. It also starts with "the" so of course since my username is Taruta13, this qualify for I5. I'm running out of freebie spaces. Anyone want to clarify if "Last Game Your Acquired" counts if you finish the Blackout with that space and then start a new BINGO card? That space, "released the year you joined PSNP"(I could stream Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time because that was released when I joined, in 2009 - yeah I've burned a lot of accounts. ) and "Peripheral-based" are the only ones I think I cannot do. One last sin I rectified: I saw the final boss cutscene and was smirking in the end. Edited March 9, 2023 by Taruta13

Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Still no line for me, but I'm getting closer. This time I have The Turing Test for Independent developer. It was an interesting puzzle game, but I preferred The Swapper which had basically the same story with a little more charm. The Pedestrian is there for Non-Violent. I really enjoyed the puzzles in this game, very fun and not too difficult, the last level was really great too. For Made in a Foreign Country I have Last Day of June which was made by an Italian studio. I thought this game was great, very short, but with a really lovely story and fantastic music Finally I played The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and put it in my Last Acquired square. It’s leaving plus extra this month so I finally downloaded it before it leaves. I hope it still counts even though I didn’t buy it. I’d always heard good things about this game and I went in expecting something similar to Edith Finch. I was not expecting it to be sort of Lovecraftian horror themed. The characters didn’t have the charm of the Edith Finch family, but they were deliberately supposed to be an awful family. I did enjoy the detective and visualising side of things. I was a little disappointed by the ending, I would have been happy to play more adventures of Paul Prospero in a future game.
