Popular Post MAUSZX
5 more games done.... no bingo yet. Ultra Rare Platinum: Connectank: This game is half strategy, half puzzle and for the platinum is full grind and RNG. The game is really really fun, the grind was really not. Think I will Dislike: Rumbleverse: I played this game because there was a challenge for PS Stars, and because is a battle royale game, I thought I was going to hate it.... and I kinda like it, there were some things that the devs should have considered to balance the game and the moves, but it was fun, the trophies were not super hard, there was just one that was annoying. The game was so neglected by Epic games or the amount of success that Epic wanted was so overblown that the game was closed before 1 year. Meaning to get to: METRO EXODUS: I really like Metro games, this was the most different game, the most buggy one, and because of that the worst one gameplay wise, Story wise was the best game of the franchise for sure. I bought this game when it came out and never played it, but because of the ps5 update I gave it a go. I read that there is a 4th Metro game in the works, I think is dissapointing since this game finally had a good ending, I don't know if the continuation is because the book series have a continuation or they just want to make more since the games tend to sell well. Anthropomorphic Animals: GHOST OF A TALE: A very good and well made indie game a very stealthy game, with a decent story, very touching at the end, this also was a psplus extra game that was removed this month. Highly recommended for those stealth fans. No Platinum Trophy: King's Quest: A game similar to TellTale games , but this one doesn't have a platinum, something that really bugs me, since you really need to go back and replay some chapters because there are missables and also there are chapters that need a different decision to get the trophy, once again another confusing thing as to why this game didn't get the platinum and why others did.
Popular Post MikkelEhlers
Two more entries coming in on the Bingo Board again: Demon's Souls and Hogwarts Legacy - two big ones this time. The spots for these two are pretty easy for me to pick. Demon's Souls is going on "Favourite Genre" - since my favourite genre always has been Action RPGs, and even more specifically souls-likes since I first got in to Bloodborne on the PS4 - so this is a no-brainer Then I put Hogwarts Legacy on "Based on a Non-Gaming IP", which I think is pretty self-explanatory. Summary: Spoiler B1 - Non-Human Sidekick:B2 - Featuring a Romance or Romance Options:B3 - Releasing Your Inner Weeb:B4 - Favorite Genre (Action RPG (Souls-like)): Demon's Souls. Definitely fits this genre - lots of action and RPG mechanics. B5 - You Think You Will Dislike: I1 - Sci-Fi or Fantasy Themes: Toem. Has fantasy theme.I2 - Based on a Non-Gaming IP: Hogwarts Legacy. Based on the Harry Potter universe.I3 - With Player Operated Vehicles:I4 - Cult Favorite: I5 - Racing or Sports: N1 - With Gorgeous Vistas:N2 - That "Everyone" But You Has Played:N3 - Player's Choice:N4 - Released in Your Birth Month (April): Yooka-Laylee. Was released April 11, 2017. N5 - That You Meant to Play Last Year: G1 - Starts With the First Letter in Your PSNID (M): Minecraft. Does indeed start with M.G2 - Recommended by a PSNP Member:G3 - Strategy, Simulation, or Management:G4 - Underplayed (Owned by < 1000 Players): G5 - Has Snacks: O1 - With Mystery or Detective Themes: Danganronpa 1 • 2 Reload. Literally the game.O2 - Has No Humans: Yoku's Island Express. Has only animals.O3 - Developed in a Foreign Country:O4 - Play as an Antihero or Bad Guy: O5 - Crafting Mechanics: Tearaway Unfolded. The drawing mat.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Two more squares for me, and as usual, none of them was planned at the beginning of the challenge N4, has no platinum trophy - Woodle Tree Adventures small but fun little game, not much to say about it. N5, with online features - Remnant: From the Ashes not quite 100% yet, but it's only the survival mode grind that's left. Took me a while to get into it, but overall it can be fun. The bosses are mostly bad though, at least for a soulslike.

Way too reliant on spewing ads at you. Also, I was super unlucky with the RNG on the 'strange coin' trophy. I had to replay Earth about a dozen times haha. Co-op was fun though. My reasoning: I completed the main story that was offered at that time. I think if you get to the point where all you have left in game is grind starlight/ pumpkins/ trophies, you should be able to say you've "completed" it.

Popular Post ExHaseo
One more done, and Bingo#2 bayyyybeeee. G4 - One Word Title - Shenmue - A highly influential game and an absolute classic that is truly awful by today's standards. Was going to put this under Cult Favorite, but I don't have anything else with a one word title, so it's going here. I'm probably going to have to sell off most of my gaming collection by this time next year, so I'm going to be focusing on stuff I plan on selling. Starting with my PS5 games, which ironically are all PS1 games lol. Going to be working on Legend of Dragoon for Cult Favorite, since I bought it on PS3 and got a free copy on PS5. Last time I tried playing it the ridiculously long load times just killed any enjoyment of the game, so I'm hoping that it's a bit better this time around. 7 minutes ago, Taruta13 said: Nintendo: Where did we go wrong? It's nice to have a space to play modern games without thinking about completion, and if you do want to care about completion, you get to define what that means without having to do arbitrary things (most of the time at least). It is annoying for this event though lol.
Popular Post stuthesheep
Slightly neglected the admin side of this event over the past few weeks, so let's get all caught up. Marking off B2 with the Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy pack. Definitely falls into the Fantasy character - in the third game you even get to control Anastasia Romanova for a bit, who not only survives the executions but thanks to some shenanigans I didn't quite understand in all honesty is aided/possessed by the spirit of the protaganist from the first game set 300-odd years previously and turns into quite the badass assassin herself - certainly no screaming in vain at any point. I'm sure all that ridiculous nonsense more than qualifies as fantasy. Thoroughly enjoyed all three games in the pack though. And O4 has also newly fallen, with Astro's Playroom. Can't really get much more platform exclusive than the game bundled in with every PS5, can you? Due to a lack of skills and (most importantly) patience, I haven't quite made the speedrun requirements yet for the 100%, but the platinum is in the vault so that's good enough for now. Onwards! . Spoiler O1 (DLC) Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist 13/1 B2 (Fantasy) Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Trilogy 17/3 I2 (Crafting) Assassin's Creed: Rogue 18/2 O4 (Exclusive) Astro's Playroom 17/3 O5 (Reboot) God of War 4/3 Edited March 26, 2023 by stuthesheep Sunk the wrong battleship

I'm enjoying the game, nice relaxing one compared to Dead Nation and FF7R Hard mode. Just doing all the side missions now and just playing through the content. Will probably finish relatively soon. Dead Nation: Really, really liked this game. I have the PS3 and PS4 version, if you want to do the co-op, let me know. I will be doing these versions soon! Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania: Newest DLC pack for Dead Cells. Was able to move my first achiever leaderboard spot from #10 to #5 which was pretty cool. I really enjoy dead cells, if you like this type of game but haven't played this one, you should. It's so good. I am very close to several bingo lines, really should just do something for them OH well. Birth Month and Join year squares will be interesting to try to find something for. Taruta13
Needless to say, there is no Blackout for me so I can't continue the event once I hit these barriers: B3: Last Game You Acquired How could you measure this? I guess this would have to be the last space filled unless you don't buy any more games. B4: Released the year you joined PSNP I saw that Persona 3 Portable was released in 2009... for the Portable, so the remake doesn't count. The only game I could try to get B4 in is Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. This is because while this account was created in 2020, I actually started my first account in 2009 so technically I joined this community in 2009. O5: Peripheral-based Unless I steal my friend's VR helmet, there is no way I can fill this gap. I know some people say "use Remote Play on any old game!" but Remote Play doesn't really count as it's just playing any old game on your Vita and I feel that's cheating. And I don't want to spend tons of money on VR games or a Playstation Move I will only use once. Here are the spaces I could fill out: B5: Free to play I could platinum Genshin Impact since I have it on my PS5 since forever. I4: Reboot or Spiritual Successor Part of me wanted to platinum SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake since a guy who I watch was doing the game and said it was a spiritual successor to Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, but ugh, I don't like Spongebob. N2: Released in 2023 Definitely gonna be Hogwarts Legacy as that's on two events already and I sort of enjoyed it, save the camera controls. If anyone wants to give me some advice or recommends on the first three problems, I will gladly listen.
pelagia14
Update! NEW in Green: [B2] That You Can Beat in One Sitting: Tempus [B4] Simulation: PowerWash Simulator [I2] Based on a Non-Gaming IP: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order [I3] For Another PSNP Event: AER: Memories of Old [I4] In-game Weather Effects: Hogwarts Legacy [N1] No Jump Button: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Reunion [N2] Has No Humans: Seasons After Fall [G3] Has Snacks: Donut County [G4] Developed in a Foreign Country: Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line [G5] Retro Re-release: Spyro the Dragon [O4] That "Everyone" But You Has Played: Marvel's Spider-Man I've also tentatively planned out most of my other Bingo games from my backlog. Last Game Acquired will be whenever I get a new game this year. I'm debating between Mass Effect Legendary Edition or The Witcher 3 PS5 for "Takes Forever". Ultra Rare Plat will likely be either Disco Elysium or perhaps Yakuza Kiwami. Tempus: Literally took less than an hour to earn this platinum - though a few of the puzzle solutions in the later half of the game seemed arbitrary to me and I needed a guide to solve them. It had an interesting concept but I felt like they failed to really explore that concept in satisfying ways. AER: Memories of Old: I bought this game super on sale a while ago, and played it for the Kaleidoscope Event. Ultimately I was disappointed with what I consider to be a lot of unrealized potential within the game. Hogwarts Legacy: While the season changes are not a weather effect, the game does have rain and snow effects when you explore outside the castle. Donut County: I mean, the title of the game includes a snack reference! I normally don't consider absurd to be a positive adjective for a game, but for some reason I really enjoyed this somewhat nonsensical game. Easy platinum as well - takes around 3 hours! Marvel's Spider-Man: This game has one of the highest Platinum trophy achievers counts on PSNP, and the first game from my backlog to appear when looking at Platinums by number of achievers. I absolutely loved the game, though I can understand why some people were annoyed at things like the number and length of cutscenes or the non-Peter Parker sections. Here are a few items from the Event FAQ that might help you out: Quote Last Game You Acquired" can be established as of when you generate your card or when you're ready to attempt the specific challenge. Up to you. What counts as a peripheral?Peripheral can be defined as broadly as your cellphone for Playlink or Karaoke Games, or specifically as Wonderbook or PSVR. I am going to expand this by including any game that has an online leaderboard/interactive website that can be checked outside of the game (IE battlefield) For "Last Game You Acquired" at some point during this event when I get a game I will do this challenge at that point. Also note that it says "acquired", not "purchased", so if you have PlayStation+ then you could count the Game Catalog or Monthly Games for this challenge. For "Peripheral-based" you could look into games with interactive websites / leaderboard websites. I know older Rockstar games like LA Noire had interactive websites but don't know if they still work. At a quick glance, it looks like some of the Playlink range of games are $10 - and UNO is in the PS+ Games Catalog, so 'free' if you have PS+.

While I enjoyed my time playing it, I can definitely see why someone wouldn't like this game, it's pretty particular.
