I appreciate y'all taking the time to look at my list and give me recommendations. These made me legitimately laugh though. Seems like y'all just want me to suffer lol. Almost every one of these games are ones I had a viscerally negative reaction to. If something is at 0% or has maybe one trophy, it's for a very good reason. That reason being almost always being I tried it and it was not for me. I guess I should have asked for no 0% ?

I actually played Everybody's Gone to the Rapture for about an hour trying to get the "feels" square done. I can see why other people would like it, but it is not for me.

 

I guess I can do Blood Dragon. I only tried it because I was reconnecting with an old friend, and they were super into it at the time. The idea behind the aesthetic is cool, but I kind of hated it. I should almost be done though, so I guess it'll have to do. Maybe I'll like it more this time around. I'm definitely saving it for last though.

Haha fair enough! I'm pretty sure trophy clean-ups would count though if it's a trophy linked to a new playthrough – i.e the speedrun trophy. But yeah, if it's not for you, it's not for you! 

 

Edit: Having checked the original rules again, I'm wrong haha. Doesn't affect any games I've played, thankfully. 

 

Having checked your list again, how about Returnal? Seems like you got reasonably far in it, without completing the game (Act III trophy not binged). So hopefully it falls into the range of 'you enjoyed it enough to get through most of it', but didn't quite complete it.

I've got ideas for some of these, but others are gonna be tough. Have to consider if Persona 3 Portable's dungeon crawling camera is isometric or not.

B-1: HYPE! - God of War: Ragnarok: I really, really liked this game.  Did I think it was the best-thing-since-sliced-bread?  No.  The middle dragged out a lot more than it needed to.  I still think the game has serious issues with 'too many buttons' for combat.  More than once I messed up what I was trying to do because I couldn't remember if it was  or  and then whatever follow up button.  But the story was good, really, really good.  Satisfying.  I love seeing how the series has matured.

G-1: With a # oe Punctuation in the Title - Spider-man: Miles Morales: These recent Spiderman games have been quite fun and this is no exception.  In fact, I think I like the combat a little bit more in this one since I can use Venom moves to get out a sticky situations (pun intended).  It's also nice to see a biracial main character.  And some sign language.  It's just, it's cool, feels a lot more like the 'real world'.  Not the best game in the world but it's fun, the story is good and I like Miles.  Plus swinging around New York is just so fun...

O-4: With No Jump Bottom - Marvel's Midnight Suns: I have a lot of good things to say about this game.  I am in love, absolute love with the combat system.  The story is interesting, the characters are great.  I love seeing the magical side of Marvel, not just superheroes.  It was, however, the biggest game I've played in quite a while.  Most everything I hit was a graphical bug but still, that doesn't really reflect that well on a game.  So a solid A-, honestly.  I would suggest it to anyone that likes strategy games and some more B-list Marvel characters.

 I-4: With an Isometric View - Digimon Survive: Digimon seems to swing pretty wildly with video game ideas and I'm here for it.  This game is 7/10 visual novel with a horror tinge and 3/10 battle which isn't bad.  I'm not a huge fan of how you recruit digimon (I prefer the Cyber Sleuth style) but with a guide it's not too bad.  I can say, though, that this game is so much darker than I expected and I really like that. While the game is visual novel, the battles are isometric so I believe that counts.

Just finished the story of Ghost of Tsushima and have to say wow, what an amazing game. It's truly breathtaking and the story has blown me away. It hits with so many feelings and even though I still have tons of side quests and clean up to do I'm really looking forward to carrying on.

O5 - Persona 4 Arena Ultimax - With Online Features - Being a fighting game, online is a big part of this one. I wish I could stack the plat for this, but my hands just don't work like they used to. I don't think I'll be able to do all of the challenges for any character T_T

I still absolutely love this game though. I love fighting games and this is a fun and unique system with the personas. The story is amazing too. It's still really sad to me that they were building up a really cool large and expanded Persona universe, and then just completely dropped it when P5 came out. I'm assuming this is because of Sega's influence. I've always been under the impression that Joker was originally going to be Sho. Since they were very clearly setting him up as the next protagonist, as he was the Velvet room's next guest, but then we just never hear anything about him again. The similarities with Joker and Sho's design, as well as Joker's signature cocky looking smirk being so similar to Sho's make me think they had to change it after they had already started development. Then of course the Shadow Operatives were clearly meant to be a collection of past Persona users they could bring back, but then there's no mention of them ever again. The only mention of the possibility of this game even being canon, is a reference to Yukari being Featherman Pink in P5. I've always kind of assumed this was because Sega wanted P5 to be more standalone, so it would be more accessible.

Anyway, I was going to play Xenosaga Ep 2 next, but it is really bizarre compared to the first one, so I'm going to try and finish up P5S again. I'm not a fan of this battle system, but I've always been curious what happens in the story.

A few more marked off since my last post.

 

First is the HYPE! square with Horizon Forbidden West. Fairly sure there won't be any arguments about this, it was everywhere at launch time. Enjoyed it immensely, although I thought the main story wasn't great - it was good exercise for my eyebrows as they were constantly raised by some of the more questionable twists and turns throughout the game. The overall gameplay outweighed that minor quibble considerably though.

 

Moving on to the Banned/Censored square with the campaign remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and in particular the No Russian level. For obvious reasons the level of going through an airport indiscriminately murdering innocent civilians didn't go down well in some parts of the world. The level itself was never released in Russia and was censored in Japan and Germany.

 

And the Mystery square is also marked off with The Suicide of Rachel Foster, a walking sim with heavy Shining vibes that had a promising beginning but didn't quite stick the landing. Diverting enough for a couple of hours though.

Doesn’t look like there’s much you haven’t completed but I see you’ve played Trek to Yomi, so I’ll suggest Sifu. Haven’t played it yet myself but I have a friend who’s a big fan of both.

I recommend Night in the Woods which is always the game I think of first when asked what my favourite platinum was to get.

If that doesn’t look like your type of game then I suggest Bastion (a game I’ve completed twice before and keep meaning to play on PlayStation)

You have a very impressive list of completed games. I didn't find a Resident Evil or many horror games though, so I would say any of the new Remakes, especially "Resident Evil 3" since it's the easiest and quickest of them, "Martha is Dead" (if you liked The Town of Light) and "Little Nightmares II" since you already played the first one.

Definitely not the last one, creeped out feelings are not what the phrase means. It's more of emotional waffyness, like you see a good love scene between dying lovers and you suddenly get choked up and start crying, even if you are a man's man. That's sort of what the Feels are.

 

As for the others, I wouldn't know as I don't know what games you intend to play that define these aspects. But if you asked me with a gun to my head I'd saying Underplayed is the hardest of the bunch. I can count some really interesting visual novels that give romance options(not to mention all three modern Persona titles where you can woo characters in their hang out events) and there are a ton of rogue-likes.

I finally finished Sims 4 and was a toss up between putting in romance or simulation but I opted for simulation in the end after struggling to think of another game I could have put there
