Time to throw another game onto the rainbow coloured fire..... For some reason my brain was urging me to write fire.... That's not worrying at all .....

 

So I'm going to throw on WWE 2K22 as an orange - which should count.... as that was the colour our esteemed Doctor of Blood and Money suggested, so if it doesn't count, I will be throwing an egg at you ?

 

Perhaps I ought to seek therapy after playing Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City to completion ?

 

Anyway, it's nice to add another colour to this rainbow, looking to add a few more soon as well, as I'm feeling a bit of a point-and-clicky itch, and I've got a backlog full of those, so I might end up chucking one or two onto this list also. It's also nice to see the left hand side looking less naked, as that was starting to bother me a little, but not to the point where I'll try and do one from each side going forward.

 

I've rambled enough again, as usual it's been nice scooping up ideas for colours from all of your lists, there's some awesome games I've seen that I'd genuinely forgotten about for one reason or another, so it's nice to see them back on my radar again.

Finally, another one... Evil Genius 2, I've put it on white, might change later. The game is pretty fun to play but it does test your patience with all the loot missions especially. And hard mode just shows you how unbalanced EG2 really is and makes it so annoying. Fun to play, but a drag to platinum.

Dropping by to say that I have another game completed, this time it's PowerWash Simulator for PS4 which as you can see is a very nice shade of BLUE

Well, that was sooner than I anticipated. I've put The Vanishing of Ethan Carter on tan - I can change to orange if it's not tan enough. Pretty decent game as far as walking simulators go, and a great, surprising ending too.

Got three new games to add to the list!

 

Blue:

 

Crash Warped was super fun, and I wanted to do this one before I start Crash 4 this year. Even though it's got a lot of gimmicky levels I really enjoyed this one, and only a few of the time trials were difficult. 

 

Red:

 

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a nice little puzzle adventure game that's made by Ubisoft and is actually original! It's set in WWI following 5 different characters of different nationalities, it's got a great story that will hit you in the feels, I'd totally recommend this one. I really loved the comic book artstyle and some of the bits of humour that were thrown into a game as serious as this. 

 

Orange:

 

God of War is a game I came back to after 5 and a half years, starting with the Challenge of the Gods yesterday. Most of the challenges weren't too bad, and I had fun with them, but the last challenge is an absolute pain in the arse, and it seems more about luck than anything else. It took me longer than the rest of the challenges combined just to do this last one. I finished the platinum today with some misc trophies and the speedrun trophy in the weird Diary Bastard costume, which makes Kratos look utterly ridiculous, but it gave me a bit of a laugh anyway. This was a fun one to plat, and I'm really looking forward to playing the second one which is my favourite of the PS3 GoW games, and maybe even my favourite total, but the reboot games are so good I'm not so sure.

Rocket League is completed 100% after 5 year and 8 months for Light Blue. I never liked online focused games, but this was a fun couch coop opportunity to play with my gf. None of the trophies are hard and the grindy ones are also bearable (if you buy a Season Pass, otherwise Stocked can take really long).

I didn't think I'd actually be back so soon for another completion for this event.... but when I looked at Warframe just now, I was like.... huh, that's definitely grey.

 

I was planning to play Greedfall soon, which I assumed would slot into grey, but I think there's as much brown in it as there is grey, so I guess I can slot that one in for a brown if need be.

 

So there we are, Warframe becomes game number six on my list, and also it's made the left half look naked again...... Honestly, I swear I'll try and go at least one of these updates in future without mentioning that naked left side

 

It's definitely satisfying seeing those slots get filled in..... Erm.... Minds out of the gutter after that comment

 

I'll get my hat and leave now ?

Finished finished another game in the cleverly titled Walden, a game, just in case you were looking up the Wikipedia page and landed on Walden, a book. The game was ok. One of the trophies requires an extremely boring playthrough and several of the trophies didn't pop when they were supposed to and required an additional playthrough. Overall, it was relatively laid back experience and was worth the $4.50 I paid for it. Walden, a game coming in hot with the light green color background. I say I finished, finished that game because Bioshock, The Godfather II and Call of Duty: World at War are all two minutes from the platinum. I'm saving them for a project I'm working on and they will be popped at that time...but it will be this year so I know those colors are all set. After the good doctor educated me after my last update on what is appropriate for the event, I think I'm in a better position this time

 

 

There's been a lot of impressive work on this event so far! Keep up the great work all!

Finished Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes for my brown color.  I think I'll continue my Supermassive theme with The Devil in Me for white when I get around to it.

Finally got the third game done. Which is Persona 4 Golden for Yellow 

Maybe i should choose shorter games for this event....

But i probably won't do it cause i play what i enjoy and the Persona Series is one of my favorite

Well, it's official: You KNOW you don't like Pokemon Legends Arceus when your first Hisuan variant (and the one I wanted to use, Hisuan Zorua, a Normal/Ghost type) comes from a (bleep)ing SURPRISE TRADE. Hanpan the Shiny Rotom is now living in Hisui and I am seriously considering retiring my Pokemon games and just ending my career with the franchise. If it wasn't for the Scarlet/Violet DLC I'd have just flung my hands up and deleted all my Pokemon games on the Switch.

 

I didn't check Serebii.net to learn from them that Pokemon HOME is now compatible with Scarlet and Violet so I can start adding to my incomplete Living Dex. (And renew the sub.)

 

Maybe I could put my new Walking Wake Paradox Suicune that I caught from the event raids... er, anyways, moving on...

 

Yeah, one more swap: Dragon Quest XI S was out and the PS4 stack of Wild ARMS was in. I eventually buckled down and completed that version. Not too much different, but some of the dungeons have absurd encounter rates and if it wasn't for the dupe glitch to make all of Jack's Fast Draws cost only 1 MP, I'd probably been weeping. I was done to under 80 Duped Magic Carrots by the time I finished and everyone was around Level 52 since I used Duped Lucky Cards on the bosses. This time, Ragu Ragula DID use Volcanic Bomb, but I was smart enough to use Goat Dolls. My last trophy was beating Boomerang Flash in the Ancient Arena and he took out a few Goat Dolls before going down.

 

This is a great classic RPG and if you want something retro, I recommend this. Not sure whether I will go for Wild ARMS 2 since it doesn't have any dupe glitches and I recall the original being even more brutal with even nastier superbosses.

If you want to set up a boosting session to help you with those 1000 FATEs, let me know and I might end up being dragged back into the realms of Eorzea.

@Taruta13 Why thank you   I plan to do more Persona games. Next ones on my Persona Journey will be probably P4 Dancing and than P5 (Vanilla PS4). I also thought about P4 Arena (PS4) but i checked the trophy list and it looks more like a real piece of work to me as a enjoyable spin off . I'm not really a fan of online trophies 

And to FF14, yeah the PS4 Version takes a long time but is nothing like the PS5 Version for example finishing some 8 people Raid on Savage. I'm not really a Savage Raider so it may take a while to finish these. Than we have more collectible trophies which take a long time too, well it is a MMO afterall so its okay. But still thanks for volunteer

Good luck on that latter one. I tried to play vanilla Persona 5 and I wasn't comfortable with it. The trophy list was a bit too close to Persona 4 Golden's for my liking and the navigation lines trophy, oof. Sorry, I'm just a tad bit spoiled by Persona 5 Royal, they really nerfed Royal to the ground to make the series more accessible. Didn't help their cause to add Yu's ultimate form of Izanagi into the game with an attack that is the most OP attack ever for free the first time you get it. (You do have to wait until you rescue your second companion and fight a couple of mini-bosses to unlock the Velvet Room abilities, but these two mini-bosses are jokes even if underleveled. )

Indeed, and the PS5 version requires all of the expansions up to Shadowbringers to get the platinum. Why they decided to make you do the stories there to clear the raids I don't understand, but it is what it is. I do agree the Savage Raids are brutal. Still haven't finished Omegascape V4.0 Savage on my last account to get 100% on the Stormblood trophies, and don't get me started on Eden.

 

I might go back to FFXIV in the future, but probably the far future, like when they release 7.0, because I want to save up a bit more money to try to platinum LEGO Dimensions and maybe 100% it, and to get that 100%, you have to buy a LOT of their packs, which are unavailable except on Amazon for insane prices. The starter kit alone is now being auctioned at minimum of $100. But I'd do it as I want to spend the rest of my life making LEGO Builds since I have no other purpose in life other than playing video games since the ship has sailed on everything productive at this time.

Took a while but I'm finally on the board! I took a much needed break from trophy hunting for a couple of months and now I'm refreshed and ready to start knocking out these games.

First game down, Ghostwire Tokyo (PS5). Next game up, Dead Space Remake (PS5)!

I've been working on P4 Arena for years. Unless you're an absolute pro at fighting games, it's a huge struggle. The online part isn't the problem, it's the combo challenges and score attack mode you need to watch out for ?

I see, well than i guess i will skip it and watch the story on YT. I'm not really good with fighting games so yeah..moving on to the next Persona Title. @Heather342Thanks to mention it though

No worries ? I'm hoping that I can finish the 2 PS3 versions I have at some point this year ?. I suck at combos though
