Popular Post Sergen
Injustice: Gods Among Us (USA PS4 Version) Platinum #98 Time: 40-60 hours Difficulty: 4/10 Rarity: 0.09% Oops, I did it again. This is once again my new rarest platinum and trophy on PSN and I am the fastest legit achiever of this version, beneath someone who did it in 2015 by exploiting timestamps through deleting their user. Previously my rarest trophy was the 0.11% EU PS4 version platinum for this game. I simply rated this time around as 4/10 difficulty because I had done everything previously, so I didn't really need to research strategies to help me out. I still believe the difficulty of the game doesn't reflect the rarity of it. However, I may have simply been naturally talented at this game by having done Street Fighter IV and stacking Super Street Fighter IV and Darkstalkers Ressurection. The timing of combos on this game is not nearly as strict as other fighting games and it's not a very difficult game to get a basic understanding of, I believe this is a good game for someone who is just starting out with fighting games to try out. The game has grown on me now, I have had some fun fighting against people in ranked matches when I'm bored or simply re-doing The Max in Battle Mode, I think I've completed it 8 times now just for the fun of it haha. The best character to use in this game is Solomon Grundy, who can pull out 40%+ combos with ease, but with battles such as The Max and Impossible Battle, it's often trying to get your way in to perform the combos, rather than simply knowing the combos, then there can be some performance anxiety knowing that one screw up of the combo could ruin your entire run. This time, Battle Mode and STAR Labs did not really pose much of a problem for me, I did most battles on my first attempt and most STAR Lab missions on my first attempt, including getting all three stars in missions a lot of the time. The most difficult battle this time was the Impossible Battle simply due to the endurance factor, 24 opponents can be a lot for one health bar, no matter what difficulty they're on. The most difficult STAR Lab mission for me this time was the one with Cyborg where you need to duck and jump under missiles without being shot, one of the last jumps there requires good timing to pull off, otherwise your run is over. With STAR Labs, it's a good thing missions can be done individually for the stars, since some missions would be horrific to try and get all stars in one go. Shortly after getting the EU version platinum, I made a thread that is intended to give people an understanding of Solomon Grundy combos for Battle Mode: I also have a playlist of all my runs of Battle Mode challenges that were recorded while I was working on the platinum for the EU version: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd-pFCAb-QpoWWuEv3GoTzTxV6MdvMiSR Here's how my platinum screenshot looked for this version, I think it's a good image, since it almost looks like Solomon Grundy is pointing out the platinum with his fist I also reviewed the platinum first time around here: Edited October 22, 2017 by Sergen

Popular Post FilmFanatic
Trophy #9000 and 156 - DriveClub While the game is a lot of fun, some of the DLC events are just ridiculous with the dark and weather that they throw at you. The AI could really have used some fine tuning as constantly getting rammed because you happen to be driving where they want to gets annoying very quickly. I got the game and season pass on sale and with the amount of content you get it’s amazng value for money. I went with the Ferrari F50 as my platinum shot because aside from being a beautiful car, my favourite event so far has been the F50 Classic from the Downforce DLC.

Popular Post Nauticus87
#171 - Strider I got this because I remember playing the Amiga version as a kid. All I remembered was that I liked the music and it was insanely difficult and I could barely beat any of it. In comparison, this wasn't that hard but was a lot of fun. Finished the speedrun trophy in just under 2.5 hours. #172 + #173 - Spiral Splatter (Vita + PS4) Vita done in just over 2 hours. PS4 in just under an hour. My Vita sticks are a bit broken, in that they move things even when you're not touching it. As such, for most of the game I wasn't aware that the timer didn't start until you moved. I got stuck on 9-8 because of this, thinking the 3-star time was impossible. Finally realised I could wait for 3 seconds then move, making it doable once I got the sticks under control. It was also a little laggy at times which is horrible for games requiring this level of precision. PS4 was a cinch with controls that didn't fight me and smooth gameplay. If you're only going to play one version, play this one (it's also 10p cheaper for some reason?)
Popular Post yellowwindow7
Hero of the Galaxy / Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal ( ps3 ) no need to write a book about this platinum, it's so easy to obtain, way much easier and quick than R&C 1 and 2. one thing i needed to hint on this is that i remember the ps2 original game the graphics were so good at the time, every metallic object used to have this shiny glossy finish, on the HD remaster however all that have gone and everything looks so washed off, even though the HD version seems to have fixed all the pop ups texture that were well known on the ps2. i mean the graphics in R&C3 is already got downgraded when compared to 1 and 2 why do you have to nosedive it even more? though still one of the best games i ever played on the ps2 back then and it's an honor to replay it again... this time in the glorious HD visuals lel!

Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#71 Metal Gear Solid 2 Extremely Solid At the end I finally found enough time to start MGS series (actually I played Peace Walker last year, but just to get the online trophies, as my usual: first mp, then sp). What can I say about this game that has not been mentioned yet? Probably nothing. So let's talk about my road to platinum: I followed most of forum(s) tips. I started on very easy, easy, normal, hard and extreme, everytime I picked up the dogtags. Once I unlocked the bandana/wig and the stealth suit, everything became a lot easier (paradoxically speaking the normal run was the hardest, because I had no upgrades). Bosses on extreme run were really tough, but thanks to some Youtube videos, I learned the best strategies that fit my way of playing. I followed these videos and tried to do the same (sometimes I changed strategy because it was hard to replicate everything): Boss: Fortune Extreme Spoiler Boss: Fatman Extreme Spoiler Boss: Vamp Extreme (this exploit can be used on every run. It always works) Spoiler Boss: Harrier Extreme Spoiler Boss: Metal Gear Ray Extreme Spoiler Boss: Solidus Extreme Spoiler And then... yes, then... the fç@#@# VR missions... 56 hours to get 100% (someone said MGS1 Variety? Lol) This game was one of my first PS2 games and despite some REALLY frustrating parts I can say: Personal average Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Personal average Difficulty: 7.5/10 (due to VR Missions) Edited October 22, 2017 by X_Wizi_X

dmsleight
Unit 13 13 Star General (that's right, I'm greater than Ike) #70 Unit 13 was a good fps for the Vita. I was able to blow through most of the levels ad get 5 stars. There were a few levels that I couldn't get no matter how well I performed. In the end, I only had to consult 1 youtube video. It is an easy game to get into and not hard to enjoy. Save a few missions that infuriated me, it was pretty chill. All in all, it was a good title for the Vita.

Popular Post Terra
#102 - Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 As Night Trap was originally released well before I was even conceived, I had missed out on it. I became aware of the game years ago when it was published in a GameInformer magazine in the "Retro Review" section as being a notoriously horrible game and responsible for the creation of the ESRB Rating. It didn't look that bad to me but the idea of a FMV video game intrigued me but because it had come out in 1992 and I didn't have any Sega system, I thought I would never get the chance to play this. Thankfully, when Limited Run released this, I got my copy and now I'm happy to own this because it was well worth the 10+ year wait. It's campy and cheesy but it was filmed in the 1980s so I'll give it a pass. The game is easy once you memorize the scenes so you know when to trap the Augers but I did have to do multiple playthroughs to get the remaining production stills and videos for theater mode. The downside is that the game's story is short and doesn't even clock in at a full 30 minutes if you manage a perfect run. However, even though you have to play through the game more than once it never bored me (especially Dana Plato...R.I.P). It's a wonderful piece of video game history and even though it's not that infamous as it once was, it's a pretty mediocre game because of it's lack of content but it's become one of my favorites. This is one of the true games I had fun with this month and I'll likely play it again next year for a good laugh. And on a bonus note, I'm the 27th Platinum Achiever!
Popular Post Inuty
#74 South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4) Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3 Time: 18 hours I loved the Stick of Truth and was really excited about the new game but in my opinion the first game was much better. Don´t get me wrong, the Fractured But Whole is a good game but there were less jokes for me I enjoyed as in the first game and South Park is all about the jokes. A positiv fact is that the gameplay is a lot better and challenging as in the first game and sometime some Boss fight were really taff. I enjoyed the new gameplay and I like the Change of classes and the abilities with each class. Another positiv fact is that you can have nearly every main Boy of the series in your Party and so the Party members are doubled from the game before which is also pretty great. Trophywise it´s really easy to get every trophy because there are nearly no missable except of the Token experience. Let´s see how the DLC will work out with the main game. As an advise from me, you should Play the game if you like South Park but wait for a Price drop.

Popular Post yellowwindow7
It's All Relative / Gravity Rush Remastered anyone with a ps4 or a vita should try this game out when get the chance, it's a super hero game in the likes of inFamous series or spiderman games you play as a girl called Kat, she have the ability to shift gravity ( basically she can shift her gravity toward the sky and she can fall toward that direction which is how she can fly where technically she's not flying, it's more like falling ) loved every bits about it, the worlds the characters the story and unlike the reviewers who were complaining about the motion controls and gyroscope sensor camera and aiming, i never actually had any problems with it at all.. in fact i even set the motion sensitive slider all the way to the max on the plus side and i think it made the aiming much fast and easier to me. the game relay heavily on text reading if you want to follow the story because the devs want that comic strip feel to the game and on it's art style, the only draw back for me in this game is that it's a bit on the short side, and also i never liked the special forces pack, the challenges in this pack is a lot easier than the other two maid and spy packs, it's the story related mission that felt so annoying and boring to me on the special forces pack.. i thought that you'll be given some harder missions to infiltrate that huge pillar in the middle of the city and do some harder combat missions there but Nope! it turns out that all what you do is escorting NPC's to safety where enemies will keep coming from every direction and play the role of a Firema..... um.. in this case Firewoman and go around putting fire off around the city and have to babysit a stupid flying battleship that never stop set in fire like if it's crew were all 7 years old that were playing with a matchsticks next to a hay rolls. now i'll just have to wait for Gravity rush 2 to be on a new sales of some kind so i can pick it up, was this close to get it but i decided that it's best to get the remastered first to understand the story, been waiting to play the second game since that day when i tried the demo. Popular Post Karl-Kai
Final Fantasy XV The World Wanderer Finally have this platinum! It was sitting one trophy away from platinum for quite a while, as I never upgraded the Regalia into the F-type (too bad the customizations don't appear on the flying vehicle --- I have some cool Carbuncle stuff going on with the car). I liked playing this game. While I didn't like the ending of the story --- the 10 year jump was the worst, plus injuries like what happened to Ignis are disheartening just like all the deaths --- I liked pretty much everything else the game had to offer. It was great fun completing all the missions, fighting and exploring everywhere. My favourite thing might have been collecting Noctis' royal arms. The crew of characters was likeable, but it was a shame some of them got beheaded along the way --- especially Regis' early death was a pity as he is one of my favourite FFXV characters. I haven't played the DLC character chapters yet, but I have completed the Moogle Chocobo Carnival and am finishing up the Assassin's Creed Festival, and thus far they have been nice little additions to the main game. I think all the time I have (and will) put in the game has been totally worth it.
Popular Post olimoo101
#51 The Playroom VR This was a lot of fun. The rarity of this platinum is currently at 8.13% but it's one of the easiest platinums I've ever earnt. VR platinums seem to be unusually rare. I think the next VR plat I'll be getting is Until Dawn: Rush of Blood which is currently at 2.03%.

Popular Post Dead Weight
#180 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Finally got around to playing this, really enjoyed it. I thought the gameplay and the presentation were fantastic. The narrative was also really good to but it's bittersweet since I would've like more adventures with Nate but all good things must come to an end ( or never stop and become a former shell of itself ). I'll probably pick up The Lost Legacy in the future since I could use some more Uncharted goodness.
