Popular Post vampiresarego
#58 - Batman (PS4) 22nd April 2019 I'm Batman 1 week, 45 minutes While taking another break between Kingdom Hearts games, I thought I would dip back into the back catalog and see what else was waiting for me. In the shadows was Telltale's Batman story. It has been a little while since I played a Telltale game, and boy did I miss this experience. I know Telltale has gotten a lot of flack for these interactive story games, but I love them! The Batman story is another knock out punch by the Telltale team. What a great story. It was gritty, dark, and modern. Not quite Chris Nolan, but still pretty dark. As far as trophies goes, this is definitely one of the easiest platinum trophies to achieve. All you need to do is play through it. If you can't manage to do that, then don't ever bother trying to get a platinum trophy for any game. If you want a fun story, a nice rest from the 90+ hour games, and an easy platinum trophy. Check this one out! ALFRED!!!
Popular Post Masamune
Brilliant Etoile Congratulations! You collected all trophies. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Playtime: 26:29:45 (2 weeks, 5 days, 19 hours) This was quite a disappointment, I just couldn't get into it for nothing... ? It's a relatively short game, I didn't even put 30 hours into it & it took me almost 3 weeks to finish. To put that into perspective, I put nearly 100 hours into AC: Odyssey in a shorter time than that. ? The battle system wasn't that bad (I'll take anything turn-based I can get), but it still felt... lackluster. There's also no EXP system (you mostly gain levels by hanging out with friends), nothing to buy/use equipment wise (you can strengthen skills by equipping fragments, that's it), most of the chapters is just the exact same thing over & over (do a few sidequests, save someone, boss fight, & I had almost zero interest in the story (not to mention the ending wasn't that great either). These are the reasons I procrastinated some of the most I ever have while playing a game, & why something that should've only took 5 day to a week, took me nearly 3 weeks. Difficulty wise, it's very easy. I was playing on normal/hard most of the game until I got towards the end & just wanted to be done with it, then I set it to easy. I have to admit, I'm really glad this wasn't one of those 100+ hour grindy games (which I usually don't have a problem with), I don't think I would've had it in me to play this for much longer... I know I haven't enjoyed Gust games near as much lately, but this was a pretty steep fall from some of their other games. The only thing I gained from playing this game was catching up on my anime backlog, & finishing some things around the house. Seriously though, I don't recommend it.
Popular Post Ghost
Conan Exiles Enjoyment 1/10 (getting those trophy sounds was the best part) Platinum difficulty 1/10 Got this platinum 10 days ago. Popular Post Kuro-Okami
#57 Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 The first hours with this game were simply amazing. Slowly learning the mechanics and working through all the different kind of possibilities was very motivating. i enjoyed building decks with different kind of strategies and while collecting all the trophies the time flew by. Some trophies are very situational and i hated beeing forced to win the last game by 50 points. Most opponents will quit when they realize they have no chance of winning. It took a while to play against a newbie who watched me playing till the end. For it beeing a free game it delivers a lot of content too. The game lost me a bit at the end though. After playing for hours you'll get better. But the diversity of the decks you'll play against will be non existent. At some point i played against 3 different decks. As mentioned above the trophies aren't really difficult. Some are just very situational. By playing the game normally and trying to achieve some of the trophies when i got the chance i was able to obtain all trophies easily. Popular Post demonoutcast
#88 - Far Cry New Dawn Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Average story, I liked this map and atmosphere over FC5's, decent size for what it was. Building prosperity was my favorite part. Expeditions were a joke (Seriously could Ubisoft sink any lower with this lazy rinse and repeat formula?!) Overall an easy platinum, could be obtained in a day or two (A week plus if you take your time.)
Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #117: Last Words (NieR: Automata) I had heard a ton of good things going in to this game and I certainly wasn't disappointed. There were a few times the lack of auto-save and a spontaneous "Bad end" cost me a bit of time and that was irksome, however the story beats and solid hack n' slash gameplay more than made up for it. The gameplay can be as simple or deep as you'd like given the auto-chips are available for players who are struggling and the game can pose a decent challenge on higher difficulties if you're playing manually. There are some solid customization options with the skill chips and the different pod abilities/weapon types. It's also a good game for people who want a "freebie" plat as you can essentially purchase any of the longer trophies after you complete the third playthrough, which doesn't take all that long. Also, the music is pretty great as well. Strongly recommend this one. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10

Popular Post Omar
#143 - Detroit: Become Human Detroit Master - Collected all trophies! Achieved: April 22nd, 2019 PSNP's RS: Rare Difficulty: 2 Enjoyment: 8 I have always found really cool Quantic Dream's premise of interactive, player-driven narration. Detroit: Become Human is their formula on steroids and sets the bar so high for the genre that I think only they can top themselves at this point. The branching and input the story and we get are simply spectacular. On top of that, it is a wondrous production with a great score and visuals that got me taking a lot of screenshots! I did a blind run so as not to spoil myself of any plot details and, as a result, my platinum run wasn't off to an efficient start but after some very meticulous planning, I managed to get the whole list down in 1.5 playthroughs plus a couple of chapter replays. The access to flowcharts made this one a lot easier to manage than Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls and I hope their future games retain that feature. All in all I loved it and I thoroughly recommend it!
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#254 - Borderlands Borderland Defender You have defeated all bosses and are a powerful force to be reckoned with To be honest, I'm kind of disappointed with this game. I had some fun with it, but the same can be said about pretty much any game you play with a friend. I just can't ignore how tedious much of this game is. So many fetch quests, bullet sponge bosses, lots of travelling around, etc. The story isn't very interesting either and many of the jokes were total duds. Not as cringey as Borderlands 2 or The Pre-Sequel, but it's still not great. The PS4 port is a total mess too, especially in multiplayer. I don't know why I keep playing these games when they clearly aren't for me. I'm still working on the 100% but that shouldn't take too much longer. Thanks for making this game more bearable @Redgrave.

Popular Post Folkenio
Father and Son I've always been a fan of God of War, but this last game was such a change from the previous entries, both in narrative and mechanics, that it took me a while to get it. It's definitely on my Top Games of All Time list, and enjoyed it every bit of it.

Popular Post malushky
#5 Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 The Legendary Hero My last platinum on PS3 before switching to PS4. Easier than MGS2 IMO, although much more repetitive. Very enjoyable game nevertheless. 8/10 #6 Undertale PS4 Don't You Have Anything Better to Do? First platinum on PS4. Felt a bit weird to go for a platinum in a game where its creator dislikes trophies. I think the pointlessness of dognation process needed for platinum actually reflects the developer's attitude towards trophies. Enjoyed the game, had quite a few laughs, although it did not entirely live up to the hype for me. 7/10

Popular Post panikooooos
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Man what can you even say about this game? It's got it all. Fast paced action, memorable villains (Nanomachines, son!), solid gameplay, catchy soundtrack (RULES OF NATURE), and last but not least Spoiler MEMES , the DNA of the soul, as Monsoon taught us ?. Seriously this game is full of them. This game is probably the best ninja/cyborg simulator there is and for people who want a challenging plat, you will not be disappointed! That damn VR 18 Mission, Monsoon, Mistral and Monsoon AI and lots of other difficult battles will haunt you forever if you choose to claim this plat, but the feeling of accomplishment you will get after is worth it. Also as a Metal Gear game, it's riddled with philosophical questions which will provide you with some food for thought, and might even challenge you on the topic of normative ethics. All in all, it's a great game, one you will never forget once you've beaten it, definitely a must play for all trophy hunters who like a bit of challenge!
