Popular Post Carol
#167 Burly Men At Sea Ye've Done It “This day, you reach the end of a story,” she continues, “and the last of its paths.” "Burly Men At Sea" is a game with a simple concept. It tells a folktale about a trio of fishermen trying to seek adventure in the waters of early 20th century Scandinavia. Each story you find in this game is short, but there is a great diversity of choices to make and paths to follow. As a trophy hunter, your job is exactly this one: to find all the different branches and endings that the game offers. That's why it's recommended to follow a guide. The platinum is easy and can be achieved in a couple of hours.
Popular Post bigrake1
#106: The Limits of the Possible My third run now through the World of Witcher 3. My platinum completion clocked in at 230 hours: A lot of rose-smelling. I have really come to appreciate the depth of lore and detail in this game. I wish they had added trophies for brewing all the oils and potions to their superior versions, and added silver trophies for completing the DLCs on Death March.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 207 - TALES OF BERSERIA Date of Achievement : July 27 , 2019 Enjoyment: 9,5 Difficult : 4,0Hardest Trophy : A Solid B Another wonderful entry for this beloved series. Berseria surprised me the most for the story and characters; although I was a bit underwhelmed with Zestiria (still a good game), this entry elevated most of what was missing on the previous one. Super excited for Tales of Arise, hoping for a bright future for the series.

Popular Post Masamune
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Consummate Storm Master You won all trophies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Playtime: 9:52:09 (23 hours, 28 minutes, 33 seconds) Another quick one off the list. Although it could've been a lot quicker. ? First I messed up in the very beginning & forgot to activate a quest that lets you pick up Timeline scrolls on the map (I didn't realize this till post-game), so I had to revisit most of the places in the game to pick those up... & then I probably wasted an hour or so trying to figure out why a certain quest wasn't triggering for the last Timeline page I needed (I think I had the same problem the last time I played that game too). ?
Popular Post Gommes_
SoulCalibur 6 #101 A New Story of Swords and Souls After part 5, which was not really good, this one was much better. The souls of libra mode was entertaining and the fighting in general feels awesome. It took me like 30 hours to get the platinum and I never really had any problems. With the right characters SC6 is pretty easy. The downside of the game however, is the way how Namco treats its buyers. Tekken 7 did the same thing and SC6 is nowhere different. I am talking about the lazy backgrounds in both games, the lack of characters and the implementation of multiple! season passes. Seriously Namco, what the hell?! Getting more stages, music tracks and characters only if I pay 30€ per season pass is ridiculous! Especially if you compare it with Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on the PS3 which had 60 characters and dozens of stages. Plus the possibility to put in your own music. Most of the past games I've played didn't do that but of course I noticed a change in how companies want to generate more money. Seeing that procedure in action makes me kinda worry about the future of games. Anyway, I still had my fun with SC6, even though I only got half of the game. Popular Post Nostalgy_Flow
#78: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Difficulty: 4/10 I preferred New Order by far. Didn't like too much the story and in some sections of the game I got a bit bored. Still a pretty good game though. Platinum talking, as with New Order it's possible to get the Über trophy simply by completing the last chapter. In addition to this, there's also challenge mode, where you have to play at least on "I am death incarnate!" difficulty in order to get the gold on all the ten levels. However it's still very doable and apart from a couple of maps I did almost everything with no problem. Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Platinum #4 Detroit Become Human Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I never actually played any Quantic Dream game so this was my first experience. With the game being free with PS+ this was the perfect oportunity to try it out! Overall it was an enjoyable experience, at first I was amazed by the amazing graphics and the little details. Even the startscreen that talks to you and sometimes feels right creepy when she is saying thing that apply to you at that very moment. The first playthrough was definitely the most enjoyable for me. I went in blind without knowing anything, I haven't seen any spoilers somehow throughout the years. I was decently satisfied with my first playthrough except some regretable mistakes I made near the end. On the bright side this only made me want to replay it! This time I decided to follow the guide here on PSN. I already collected quite a few magazines and trophies on my first run but the guide was perfection for the magazines that I have missed. After the pacifist playthrough I jumped into the violent playthrough, the choices for this playthrough were quite fun to see. I wouldn't have made it without a guide, the Connor related trophy would be hard to miss on my own. After the 3th playthrough I only had a few cleanup trophies done by chapter select. Overall it was a great experience especially the first playthrough. The beginning is a little boring after the first playthrough, that is the reason I gave it an 8 out of 10. If you are in the same position as me and never have tried a Quantic Dream game now with both Heavy Rain and Detroit being free I can only recommend it! Bioshock which I started before detroit will probably be my next game to platinum. With Rayman Legends on the side, doing the daily challenges for approximately 2 more weeks or so.

Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #86 - NORN9 Var Commons Took me a while to finish this one in between packing and other games, but I finally finished it. I thought it was an interesting idea that it had three protagonists to pick from instead of one, but after playing it I feel like it would have been better if they had just stuck to one. (Mikoto) There's also 9 different routes to choose from, but since there's so many they tended to be less detailed than some other visual novels. You also ended up with some routes that were really interesting to play and added a lot to the game, and others that were just trash and a pain to get through. Even in spite of some of its short comings I did like it enough that I'm interested in playing the side games. Have to see if I can get them at a decent price sometime.
Popular Post GraniteSnake
#151: Uncharted: Golden Abyss My first Vita exclusive platinum and I'm glad that it's come from one of my favourite video game series. Definitely a solid entry in the series, with the only real let down being it's sub par story. The new characters introduced weren't too interesting, and if it weren't for Sully being introduced halfway through the campaign I don't think I'd have laughed once at the dialogue. There is also an over-abundance of collectables scattered throughout this game, which forces you into following a video guide to guarantee you find them all. This made the second play through on Crushing rather tedious, given the stop-start nature of following a video guide. Visually this game is pretty impressive, especially the character models. Platforming was typical of the Uncharted series, and I really liked the touch-screen feature allowing you to navigate Drake with the swipe of your finger. Weapon combat took a little bit of getting used to, but pin-pointing your shots using the Vita's motion sensor was a refreshing take on aiming/shooting. The touch-screen sequence for the 'boss' fights was quirky, and added some much needed difficulty to the Crushing run. You essentially couldn't make a mistake, so these sections ended up needing pretty quick reactions to get through. Regarding the trophy list itself, it's very straight-forward and features no difficult trophies. Some kill-grinding is necessary in order to pick up every Bounty, but nothing too extreme. Overall a relatively enjoyable game, but not one that I'd lose sleep over missing if you are a big fan of the series and don't own a Vita. Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
God of War - PS4 (#225) "Father and Son" Just stunning. I saved the final portion of the story to get the platinum and it was just amazing. Glad I saved it for a milestone. Having recently played the first 6 games from the series, I found this game to a nearly flawless evolution in almost every possible way. The game updates the fighting mechanics to be more dynamic and active, the puzzles with the assist, the epic boss battles, challenges in the form of multiple realms, and a more fleshed out, grounded story. The biggest drawback I found, and really the game's quality and presentation quickly dismissed this issue: the open-world RPG-ness of the game. At the very beginning, the tiny menus and UI plus the large world to explore were a big departure from the first 6 which were straight forward hack-and-slash adventures. But as the story progressed and the world's depth became apparent, that drawback became an asset, by increasing the challenges and the lore in the world. The Valkyries were a serious challenge and the Queen is likely the most challenging boss across all of the God of War games. I played the entire game in Normal difficulty and it was very tough to get past her. I am very glad to see the the Challenge Rooms were not brought back formally, although Muspelheim's trials were their analog. They were way easier than any of the prior Challenges in the earlier games. I can't wait to see Santa Monica Studio's follow up to this masterpiece.
