Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 204 WWE 2K22 (PS4 Version) 3/22/2023 3rd Ultra Rare Platinum on Current ID (4.15%) Total Time to Plat: 1 Year, 2 Weeks, 5 Hours The game that boasted "It Hits Different" hits Platinum 204 for me! Now I can devote full attention to WWE 2K23! I've seen WWE and pro wrestling in general be influenced by pop culture and influence pop culture in return over the years and decades, I've seen it influence my life as well as an indie (minor-league) announcer and "commissioner" character. My late father was a fan of Bruno Sammartino (legendary 60s and 70s wrestler) and I was a fan of Macho Man Randy Savage (my current PSN ID, OohYeah127, is a reference to Macho Man). My first wrestling game was WWF Wrestlemania Challenge (the second WWE game ever made) and I never looked back. When I was under the PSN ID I eventually lost to a bank card hack (Icebrand1270), I was 7 for 10 for WWE Plats in the PS3 era, including WWE 2K17 which was the final PS3 WWE game, released in late 2016. I sadly never earned a PS4 WWE Platinum as Icebrand1270. As for the game itself, it has overhauled controls and several modes to do. MyGM made a comeback after many years by popular demand (I blame Xavier Woods and Tyler Breeze for this... but that might be because I never understood the mode's appeal). The mode was rushed and half-baked as if to punish the fans for demanding it (surprise, surprise). MyFaction debuted to much hate and rightfully so, as it is the WWE version of Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) or NBA 2K Ultimate Team without PVP. Needless to say, microtransactions don't sell as well when PVP doesn't exist. (Oops.) MyRise was the big highlight for me and many others, replacing MyCareer. Featuring different backgrounds, fighting styles, stories and both Male MyRise and Female MyRise paths, this is the mode I enjoyed the most. The trophies are their usual super-difficult WWE list. They require the player to play EVERYTHING and then some, including over a month's worth of MyFaction Daily Challenges. Buyer Beware! Now I can relax and realize I fulfilled a dream. A dream so real it had no choice but to FINALLY come true! To quote Tomasso Ciampa when he won the NXT Championship years ago: "This is My Moment"! Popular Post mega-tallica
#233 - Forspoken Enjoyment: 2/5 - The main campaign was okay, everything else about this game ranges from mediocre to flat out terrible. The main character, Frey, is just so unbearably unlikeable that it brought whatever good the story was bringing to the table down. She pretty much just whines and moans the whole game and that's the scope of her dialogue. She redeems herself a bit at the very end but by that point is was far too late to turn my opinion of her around. The dialogue itself is just awkward and awful as is well documented in most reviews, it's as bad as they all say. The world is massive but it's mostly empty landscape filled with sporadic busywork side content (kill all enemies here, find this collectible there, solve this trivial puzzle to open this chest, figuring out how to get to that monument up on that rock with terrible parkour controls, etc etc, all the same junk that's in every open world game). The parkour controls are awful. It has this free-running, Assassin's Creed kinda thing going where you just hold down one button and the parkour does itself except it doesn't work half the time or keeps working when you don't want it to. You're just trying to climb up this mountain but yet she just keeps jumping around by herself because the game still thinks you want to free-run. It leads to you falling to your death unnecessarily at the worst times. Trying to get to the "Nowhere" region in the game which you must get to for collectible purposes was one of the most frustrating things I've had to do in a video game in a long time. The game suddenly throws the hardest parkour jumps at you in this part while also spawning in infinitely respawning hordes of enemies on you while you're just trying to complete these complex jumps and get to the next part. And oh yeah, you can hardly see where you're supposed to be going because you're in the middle of a Break storm where everything turns blue and looks the same on screen. So good luck trying to find the correct way to go without getting completely lost and don't fall, god forbid, because the game will throw you way back when you respawn for no reason and you end up somewhere completely random way back down the mountain because the sadistic developers thought it would be fun having to do this again. What were they thinking? Overall: 2/5 - Good concept, horribly executed. The combat is solid once you get all your spells and you can really start mixing and matching. Still is very easy to get overwhelmed by enemies, especially the Nightmares during the break storms, and they get you stun locked and you just start bouncing all over the place because you're getting hit and you can't even tell where and from what because there's 20 enemies on you at once. It's chaos but not the good kind. Trophy list is typical AAA open world game. Do everything the game has to offer (or almost everything), complete some easy misc. trophies and you've got yourself a platinum. Nothing to it besides the 40-50 hour time sink you've got to commit to. Coming off playing a game like Hogwarts Legacy, a very similar but very good game in comparison, to something like this immediately after was not the best choice I've ever made in retrospect. Should've left this one on the shelf.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#445:I'mJust a Guy Who's a Hero for Fun I sure wish I could have had some of that fun. What everybody says about this game is true; It sucks. Clunky, awkward, tedious, stiff, bad voice acting, repetitive missions and absolutely laughable cutscenes that become insulting to anyone who's actually seen the first season. The best way I can describe the gameplay is that it feels like I'm constantly playing a laggy online match, despite the online being shut down over a year ago. Every time you get knocked down, you have to wait a stupidly long amount of time before you're able to regain control of your character and get back in the action, which allows the CPU to get up right in your face and initiate its combo that 99% of the times will catch you with you unable to do anything. And no, you are not able to do the same; No matter how many times I thought I got the timing and spacing down, it seemed like the AI always managed to slip through the cracks and break the rules Of when it was able to hit me or dodge my attacks. The short of it is that this game sucks. Just read the book or watch the show again.

Popular Post PotrikBerger
Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me Anticipation - 4/5 Was really looking forward to this latest instalment having played and platted the first three dark Pictures games. Was interested to see how supermassive were intending on ending this season, with Devil in Me advertised as it’s last instalment. Enjoyment - 2/5 Although this is shorter than the others in dark Pictures first season of games (and certainly the most straight forward platinum) I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others. Too much of this game involves awkwardly navigating stupidly dark areas which results in the cut scenes no longer driving the pacing of the game, which is surprising given how the other games in the series play. This is noticeable and I felt it really hurt the playthrough. Whereas The Quarry (for me at least) was far too bloated with cut scenes and was extremely tedious to replay some scenes because of this (I’m looking at you scene 7), The Devil In Me almost doesn’t have enough. As a result I found this the least engaging of the first season games. Being set in a murder house and not having any kind of supernatural enemy, I thought this would have been the game from season one that I would have been into the most. But no, I found this one the dullest of the four. Clumbsily Climbing up ledges, crouching through gaps and walking over logs isn’t great fun and isn’t what these games are about at their heart. Retrospect - 2/5 It was ok. Still feel it’s the weakest game in the first season by quite a way though. Am interested to see how season 2 starts off with its outer space setting but am a little worried moving forwards as I feel both the Quarry and The Devil in Me have missed their marks (in very different ways) so the games don’t feel like they are improving with each new release. Hopefully they’ll take the best of both and pull out an absolute blinder. Edited March 24, 2023 by PotrikBerger Spelling and grammar

Popular Post Valzentia
#158 - Overwatch (PS4) Difficulty: 7.5/10 Fun: 10/10 Hundreds of hours of pain, laziness, and glitched trophies later, it is FINALLY MINE. Centenary (100 wins) ended up being the toughest trophy to get, but only because it glitched on me and I had to win nearly 100 more games for it to actually pop...but it finally did, completely randomly, and holy shit was I overjoyed. I fucking love this game and i'm glad to have the plat for it.
Popular Post RebelsHeart
Platinum #111 - Powerwash Simulator Difficulty: 7/10 Fun: 6/10 It was a fun, but challenging platinum. I did love it a lot in the beginning, but as you start to progress in career mode, the areas get waaaay bigger and very detailed. I personally don't mind that, but my brain does and it got overwhelming very quickly. So if you're like me, you're going to have a hard time in the end. Plus the 'Get 5 golden medals in challenge mode' trophy was a pain in the butt. Made me feel more stressed than anything. Though that's not how this game should make me feel? Overall, I give this game a solid 7/10 And I will return for the fun DLCs they've been adding
Popular Post Kal-El457
Dying Light 2. Difficulty - 6/10(Because of repetitive grinding/rubber banding) Fun - 7/10(probably a 8-9/10 for non completionists) Time : 50-60HRS + 25-30 rubber banding for Ultramarathon I played this game 1 entire year after launch and there are still bugged quests/trophies/collectibles..that is absolute madness for a game I followed along and saw 5-10+ major bug fix type updates for and that doesn't even include the smaller patches. Luckily the bugs/glitches aren't complete deal breakers. It can be redeemed by joining another persons game. You can grab collectibles there or do side quests there. The game is fun and I plan to do the dlc but it won't be for a while, until after dlc 2 is out. Tedium starts to build up on this game after a while. Story is good and the free running is still fun from the original. Just know there is some serious grinding especially if u have unfortunate luck with trophies/collectible related issues. I also didn't even touch on ultramarathon which is the most outlandish trophy ever because it doesn't require skill, offers no incentive to play the game and is purely laughable. I had 260KM after beating the game entirely with 90%+ of collectibles done and the trophy is for 960KM! 960!!!! these devs were smoking when they did this because they knew every1 who would get it would via rubber banding the controller. For anyone reading, this should at least give u an idea haha..game is fun though just a lot of tedium. 7.5/10 overall.

Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
The best speed run you'll ever see for a plat. Y'all wish you had these skills! ? Plat # 153 Fallout New Vegas But in all seriousness, I really had a lot of freezes and glitches which reminded me why I never came back to this. I guess the bright side was that hardcore mode was laughably easy siding with House (definitely recommend), and overall didn't struggle at all on that mode minus the freezing. Oddly enough, I think FO3 was more stable than this. I'd definitely recommend 3 over NV. Not sure I'd say that 12 years ago, but after playing both the past couple of years, 3 was more enjoyable. Though, honestly, if you need your open world FPS, I'd say look elsewhere than Fallout on PS3. SURELY there's something better on modern consoles...

Popular Post Infected Elite
Platinum #185 (11th of 2023) Uncharted PS5 collection. Overall, i autopopped basically the tough stuff. People complaining "Gift of Gab" didn't unlock, but i just went to the epilogue speech and it popped so... no issues for me. Anyways it was kind of fun replaying some encounters for the trophies i needed to unlock. I still dont wish to see the series return if Drake is in it. I want more Chloe or a new hero/heroine. Anyways my final trophy before Platinum was done on porpoise. I'll see myself out.
