Popular Post UK-Danny-93
#61 The Banner Saga 4.17% Ultra Rare The Banner Saga is a great little story driven tactical rpg. It took a while to release on console but thankfully it doesn't look like it'll be as long a wait for the sequel. There have been some complaints regarding the combat and some slightly unintuitive mechanics (i.e. it's often advisable to maim enemies but not finish them off to more or less waste your enemies turn) but I didn't find that a problem. I found the combat challenging and engaging to keep my attention through now 5 full playthroughs. The game can probably be Plat-ed in 2 with careful planning but I'd strongly advise doing at least one playthrough blind so as not to spoil the experience. Because it ***really is a great experience.* The games best feature is it's atmosphere and world building. Set in a Norse fantasy setting in the days after the sun stopped in the sky and a darkness spreads through the lands you take control of various humans and varl (giant viking race) as you fight your way through the waves of dredge looking to escape the devastation and learn more about what's going on. There's a great cast of characters, each with interesting abilities that bring a good amount of variety and strategy to the combat. Many of whom you can get killed based on the decisions you make. The game also has a beautiful art style that really draws you in and what little music and voice over there is has a really authentic feel to it that enhances the experience. The game ends somewhat abruptly with several mystery's left unsolved but the Banner Saga was always meant to be a trilogy and the sequel is hopefully out next month so I'd fully recommend it if you like strategy games or are interested in the setting and aesthetic. I really enjoyed this one that wasn't even on my radar till it caught my eye in a recent sale so check it out if you think it looks interesting. Popular Post D-Tron
#98 and #99 - Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (PS4 and Vita) How I Spent my Summer Vacation And with this I now officially have all Senran Kagura platinums! Whether playing on PS4 or Vita, The beat em up followup to Shinovi Versus is better in almost every way compared to its predecessor. Better visuals, better soundtrack, and the loading times aren't as slow as molasses. It might get repetitive if you don't bump up the difficulty, but it's a really lighthearted and colorful beat em up bursting with life and hometown. It's really easy to get lost in the jiggle physics but when you can look past it and see it for what it is it's actually really fun. Like its predecessor, the story it gives is just kind of "meh". Not awful but nothing really special and it leaves more questions then answers (like how Sayuri grazes over how alternate dimensions are real and It's never brought up again). The series is still full of fun characters when you can look past the humongous boobs and butts. Which is why I say that the real fun I had came from Shinobi Girl's Heart; a side story for each character that involves said girl trying to find short and easy solutions to their various first world problems. They're funny and they don't take themselves seriously at all. If you liked Shinovi Versus or just any Musou type game then I would recommend this. Just keep in mind to close the doors that like other games in its genre, it can get a little repetitive if you don't bump up the difficulty yourself; Otherwise you're practically invincible. Even Hard difficulty becomes easier the more you level up your characters. Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 (the quest for ultimate sardine power can finally continue)
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#102 - Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction An alright game, that has a few issues. Apart from graphical glitches and the sound cutting out during cutscenes once in a while, the major problem is that for some (me included) the screen will go black after beating the boss in the 4th level and then you're stuck and this happens until you find a way around it. So after a few attempts and variations on what to do I managed to get past that part and continue normally with the game. Still annoying and unnecessary hassle that should have been fixed >,<, Anyway other than then gameplay is similar to generator rex, beat and bash with a bunch of monsters you can change to. The upgrade system is kind of useless when it comes to regular mobs, at least when it comes to damage. No matter how much I upgraded strength there was no difference as to what the damage was. If a mob would die in 3 hits with 0 upgrades, it would still die in 3 hits after being fully upgraded. Oh and collectibles not being saved when you pick them up, but die before reaching a checkpoint? Fuck off with that nonsense. Enjoyment: 5.5 Difficulty: 2 Edited March 26, 2016 by voodoo_eyes
Popular Post Masamune
Past, Present, and FutureCollect all trophies. Platinum Image: (includes Monica with cat ears...) Well, that's the first time I ever bothered to get all the medals in this game, still as fun as it was back in the PS2 days though. I really started this at a bad time though, a little after I started it, I started helping my Dad re-floor the house. That was a ton of work (a little over a week), & at night when we were done, I was so tired, I didn't even feel like playing. So it took me about a month to do this (time to plat: 84:15), although I did play Tomb Raider in between, I couldn't do all those medals in one go. Popular Post Dead Weight
#138 It's alright but nothing really new is added from GoW 3; Well they did add the rage meter but that makes the game worse in comparison to the others since it limits your combo strings and ultimately nerfs Kratos. Really good presentation but not really memorable story.

Popular Post amebapiko
Platinum Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Can be done really quick, I'd say it's an alright game but playing it now I don't feel it's anything that's outstanding. I can't really compare with the first one since I don't remember the first one too much despite it being just over a week since I played. I guess that could indicate something...

Popular Post Omar
#86 - Beyond: Two Souls Remastered (PS4) Beyond: Two Souls Master - Collected all trophies! .Achieved: March 25th, 2016 .PSNP's RS: Rare .Difficulty: 1 .Enjoyment: 8 Beyond: Two Souls is a game that is widely regarded as below-par because it seems to fail to live up to what Heavy Rain did back in the day. However, there are things in which Beyond takes the upper hand. For starters, I have enjoyed Jodie's character more than all of the Heavy Rain cast individually. This is to be expected for a simple reason: while in Heavy Rain the events circle around several protagonists who take some stage time out of Ethan Mars, Jodie is the one and only epicentre of the events in Beyond. She gets all of the stage time and we follow her story during different stages of her life, making it easy for us to get her all fleshed out as a character. Ellen Page did a spectacular performance, and same goes for William Dafoe. I take Beyond's soundtrack over Heavy Rain's too, and the story overall moved me more than Heavy Rain's, but it is admittedly not as good as that one. Beyond has a much less engaging storyline, and while in Heavy Rain my head was filled with theories about the Origami killer, in Beyond I was just sitting tight and waiting for the game to show me what would happen next. Something bright for Beyond is how we change locations and visit different kinds of places, while Heavy Rain keeps us in the doom and gloom of the rain (which perfectly fits the game's atmosphere, but inevitably hits the variety in art direction). What Beyond:Two Souls hugely fails at is making our choices seem relevant. After having played Heavy Rain about two weeks ago, I came into Beyond's choices with the fear of having big consequences, something that was fairly common in Heavy Rain. However, the story moves forward in mostly the same way and choices don't have any game-changing weight in general. This makes trophies more accessible, because the story's branching is simplified. In terms of gameplay, I didn't come in expecting much because it's interactive drama we're talking about. Both HR and BtS have some simplistic button-pressing and the latter includes some exploration through the segments controlling Aiden. Still, very little gameplay. Overall, the story in Beyond is not as intricate or good as the one in Heavy Rain but it had more moving moments for me and I found the character of Jodie Holmes extremely enjoyable. Now I am extremely looking forward to Detroit: Become Human and to whatever Kara has in store for us Edited March 25, 2016 by Omar

Also, 9 gold 7 silver 2 bronze is silly. Yup. One of the worst I've played on the PS3 (or any other) system. Anyway, for me: Omnipotent (X-Blaze Lost: Memories) Obtained all of the trophies in the game. The gamer above me puts it best: this game is poop. It fails as a novel, and it fails miserably as a game. I love their strange punctuation, though. Omnipotent Obtained all of the trophies in the game. Popular Post Flop
#64 - Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Perfect Storm Master Acquired all the trophies.Oops. I platted this awesome game weeks ago, and I forgot to post such an achievement here in this thread. My bad. Although after I platted this game, I stopped playing games for awhile because I was off doing social activities with friends and family, and barely had any time to focus into trophy hunting, or hell, enjoy any games. Anyways, my bad. I usually post platinum trophies I earned here instantly after I platted a game, or a day or two after I platted a game. In which case, I probably won't make any of those long reviews of a game that I usually did do since I did plat this game a couple weeks ago, almost a month now.Anyways, really easy game to plat, which I found sort of disappointing. And this is actually my first Naruto (well, Ultimate Ninja Storm game) that I have played and completed, and people say this is the easiest Storm game in the series, so that may be why. Even so, I still had a lot of fun with this game (excluding the "Adventure Mode", I was bored when playing through that.) My favorite anime all-time is Naruto, and I was ashamed that I still haven't played any of the Storm games at least, and when I took this compelling interest, I decided to just get Storm 4, since it had already come out, rather than just playing all previous Storm games. I will eventually get to them though. I might get that Collection bundle that Namco has release for all the Storm game, or most of the Storm games, anyways.I think I could've enjoyed this game even more if I played the previous Storm games, but I still had an amazing time playing this game. I just bought the Season Pass, since I do want more content out of this game. Shame the DLC doesn't have any trophies, but oh well.Difficulty: 2Enjoyment: 8.75

A few words of advice for anyone else trying to plat this, when you're going for 'Your OCD Is Showing' make sure to delete the patch (after doing all the festival and Shinobi Girl's Heart missions of course), this will save a lot of time and effort. Popular Post Quaedam_Animae
Platinum #60 Salt and Sanctuary Decent, but flawed in both game balance and in the technical departments because some enemies (like the Hanged Men in Hall of Red Cages) are cheap with their attacks or just plain cheap (like those unicorn-things in Pitchwoods or the invisible assholes in Dome of the Forgotten) The game also suffers from a number of bugs like random crashing and weapon charms vanishing from my inventory or controls failing to respond. Otherwise, simple platinum and it's an easier game then the Souls games its ripping off inspired by. Gonna start Lords of the Fallen when it arrives in the mail this Tuesday but until then I'm gonna finish my Hard Difficulty run of Batman Arkham Asylum and finish finding those statues in Vanquish along with starting Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Stars Battle that I bought in that last Flash sale, and yes, I have a save from the demo already. Edit: Forgot to add that the platinum image looks cool as hell. Edited March 25, 2016 by Quaedam_Animae

Popular Post Tankor_smash
#185 Dynasty Warriors 8 The grind for the last 3 trophies is horrible. I stopped playing this about a year ago and had forgotten how many effing stages there were. Chaos mode itself is easy once you have a good build, but there seems to be a never ending supply of them. The weapons aren't bad (starcrunch's guide helped with advice about the star ones), but the bond building can go right to hell. I could understand having to build them all, but having to do it twice is mind numbing.
