Popular Post madbuk
#261 - Deadpool I don't understand why this game is considered to be so bad by a lot of people. Is it great? Certainly not, but it seems about on par with the Spider-Man games in terms of quality and, other than Edge of Time, those seem fairly well-regarded. The writing was decent, even if the overall plot wasn't anything particularly special. I went straight into ultra-violent mode for this, with no upgrades, since the PS4 version allows that, and for the most part, combat encounters seemed well balanced and manageable. If you spend your upgrade points (DP) wisely, you'll have plenty of weapons and gear to help make late-game fights easier. However, the final chapter, and a couple of fights in the chapter before it, were a little ridiculous. I ended up using up so much of my ammo on the final chapter fighting that I was left with 10 shotgun rounds and a bunch of platforming to do as goons try to shoot me. What you're supposed to do is pick off the goons before you do the platforming, but they're flying around or standing on different islands that are too far away for a shotgun. This resulted in me having to do all the platforming, and run past a large group of enemies afterwards, without having the ability to fight and there's no real way to defend yourself from incoming bullets. The RNG involved in this was incredibly annoying, but thankfully not long after that there were some pretty easy melee fights that replenished my ammo. It's pretty shitty that you can find yourself in such a situation, though - I felt like I was being conservative with my ammo and I still ended up with basically nothing. You do so little damage on ultra violent that you end up using a lot more ammo in fights than the game gives you, and it was especially bad in this chapter. Then you get to the final arena in the chapter and it gets even more frustrating, so many powerful enemies are thrown at you all at once, many of which can one-hit kill you, with barely any checkpoints in between the waves that onslaught you. Outside of that final chapter, this was a fun game and I'm glad I decided to get it before it was delisted, despite the pretty harsh reception it gets.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#208 - Mass Effect 3 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies. I did the vast majority of works towards this platinum 3 years ago and only recently came back to finish the off the rest of the trophies. Back then this was my least favourite game in the series, but that was of course before a certain trainwreck came out that potentially killed off any hope of future Mass Effect games. In comparison to that game, this looks like a damn masterpiece. Still my least favourite game in the trilogy, though, but it does have its good points. Some epic-looking cutscenes/scenarios and the most refined combat in the trilogy come to mind. I do love all the fan service moments in the Citadel DLC too. Good but not great is what I'd use to describe this game. Of course I can't talk about this game without at least mentioning the ending. I've made my peace with it long ago, but I despise the ending to this game, and I think it's such a shame how a trilogy I love went out like that. The indoctrination theory is the true ending in my view, even if it's not canon. For that reason, I always pick the renegade ending, even on a paragon playthrough because the other choices are just bullshit. Anyway, I don't want to dig up the past too much since I'm not really angry anymore. Now that I have the platinum in all 3 games (4th game? What 4th game?), I can finally put this trilogy to rest. I have a lot of great memories from these games and I wouldn't be the kind of gamer I am today without them. R.I.P Mass Effect - you will be missed.
Popular Post Izularia
#233 - Resident Evil 6 (PS4) RESIDENT EVIL 6 Platinum Trophy Congratulations! You've overcome all your fears in RESIDENT EVIL 6! Where to start...? I've played the game on PS3 before, but I actually never finished it because it felt so meh. Since I was able to get RE6 for PS4 very cheap, and because I was looking for a co-op game, I decided to give it another go. It's not as bad as I remember, although it still has a lot of flaws I can't ignore. What was really bothering me was the fact that they used every little situation to let the ground shake and making the characters fall/struggle - something that became annoying very quickly. I was just sitting there and like "Oh come on, stand up ffs!!!" I have to admit that there are some fun parts, especially in co-op, but RE5 is probably still the better game if you want to play with a friend. However, it made me appreciate the older Resident Evil games even more; and I want to play the REmake again (been a while since I played it on Gamecube). Also, looking forward to the Resident Evil 2 remake as well!

Popular Post In2umniaKillH3r
Platinum#190- Agents of Mayhem Enjoyment: 7/10Difficulty: 4/10 due to Contract Thriller trophy, otherwise a 3/10. Wasn't too bad, was expecting worse. It's definitely a Saint's Row but less over the top but it's still goofy. The Online Contracts are annoying as hell and require you to be connected when they are completed. For all of my contracts, i had to do 75% of the requirements, since people just join and wait that someone complete the challenges for them. The Shard Shark trophy isn't too bad with the shards locator and the fact that the map is kinda small but it require some thinking outside the box and crazy stunts. There's a great mix of characters, that seems heavily inspired by Overwatch for some reasons. I ended up playing most of the game with Oni, Rama and Braddock. Platinum#191- Rise of Tomb Raider Enjoyment: 9/10Difficulty: 4/10 Great game, a bit less action and more exploration focused but still really fun. Score Attacks we're kinda annoying. Popular Post sheouttathere
First Platinum: Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations Picked up a few new substitute 'expressions' from this delightful game: ...no lumpin way ...oh my glob ...whatevs ...what the flip ...unacceptibuuuuul ...donked up Actually loved it along with the characters. Especially Lumpy Space Princess; the drama queen had me in stitches. Got it because I couldn’t wait for the next one in the series coming out the 17th - Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion. Wouldn’t have had the patience w/o a guide; the puzzles are in kids’ land, but funny. There’s a proverb that says a cheerful heart is good medicine. I figure life is serious enough. Highly recommended for a short n sweet break.

Popular Post Alex_Hedgehog
Platinum #35 Tera Arborean Hero To be honest I really enjoyed this platinum even though I'm not really into MMOs & it's probably one of my favourite platinums. Not too hard too, on psnprofiles its rarity is 5,42% but I guess it's just because this game's available for free.
Popular Post Gommes_
#92 The Horned Boy This game blew me away on the PS2 and left me filled with all kinds of different emotions. No other game accomplished that throughout the years. I've played the PS3 version too, just not on my account, cause I was afraid that the multiple runs and the grinding could ruin my love for the game. However going through it once gave me the exact same feeling as with the PS2 version. The new remake is great but different. Anyone who never played SotC, please pick it up. It will blow you away if you are open for it and don't focus on trophies during the first playthrough. In terms of feelings and atmosphere I have to admit that the old versions are better to me. This is highly subjective but the limited graphics gave the game a different and somewhat more isolated touch. In the PS4 remake the empty word still feels too much "alive". When grass is moving in the wind and water, shadows and light look so realistic it takes something away from the initial isolated feeling the player is supposed to have. This reminds me of Fallout 3 Vs. Fallout 4. While these are totally different games, part 3 had a special and lonely atmosphere due to its limited color scheme and level of detail. The brownish filter supported that feeling. SotC "suffers" from the same upgrade. In the old version everything was more plain, empty and on top of it had a green filter on it which gave it that unique look. Yes, the old versions look bad compared to the new one but they gave the game something the new one did not really capture. I hope it doesn't sound too negative, cause the remake deserves all the praise it gets and should be played by every PS4 owner. It is just impossible for me not to compare the game with the old one. Anyway the PS4 remake is a masterpiece on its own. ? Edited July 17, 2018 by Gommes_

Popular Post Meachamp-
Dragon Ball RNGXenoverse #20 ~ Rarity: 3.78 Time to Platinum: 80 hours | Difficulty: 4/10 | Enjoyment: 10/10 My first Dragon Ball game so naturally I can't compare it to the other games that have been released but I absolutely loved this one even though it's basically doing the same thing over and over again multiple times with a huge amount of luck added on top of that for which is the majority of the game. If you didn't need to farm all of the moves and characters, the platinum would be much more achievable. Spoiler Overview The Dragon Ball series we all know and love makes an epic return. You get to create your own race and build them to however you want. Tall, short, fat, thin, muscly etc. There's a lot of customisation at the start of this game that can be a lot of fun to go through but it is highly recommended that you take your time with it because if you want to edit your player you'll have to collect Dragon Balls and make an unnecessary and extra wish. Once you're character has been created you are then sent to a city with Future Trunks, his job is preserve the time line of history and you are summoned to help the disruptions. So you're job is to go through every single DBZ saga and fix it. Meaning you get to play through all the bad ass scenes you experience when you watch the show from very start of Raditz landing on earth all the way through to Beerus turning up at the start of Super. Don't worry about it though, it won't go into detail about Super besides characters. Then there's the story plot of it's own. So you travel through all these bad ass scenarios fixing time while an overlapping story is happening as well, so you help out Goku and the gang and also fight enemies who are making the timeline how it is. Which in my opinion makes it very cool. Bit of a different overview than usual but it's basically playing through DBZ with your own character and extended universe Characters & Level Design All the characters you grew up loving & hating. All characters are playable from the series and they don't really have personalities other than a few lines of text on the screen but if you've watched the shows than you'll know how they are anyway. The new characters are your typical villains though and for spoiler purposes I won't even mention them. You're own character doesn't really have a voice apart from when he's screaming out the moves he's using and that's only a partial speech. Similar to them games where you can choose a voice but it's mainly for grunting when fighting etc. Level design is again all places you grew up knowing. Namek, West City, Pod Landing where Raditz lands, above Planet Vegeta, Space. All these epic battleground locations from the movies and tv show. All expanded on and all able to be destroyed depending on your special moves. Gameplay This can be a little tough to grasp at the start because the movement is so fast paced even now it's still hard to fight sometimes but it's pretty solid in my opinion, you can fly everywhere put a load of moves together etc. There are a ton of moves to collect throughout the whole of the game. You'll spend the majority of your time in Parallel quests. Scenarios from the show where you fight on either side and you have to get enemies to drop their skills and you will be playing all of them a number of times which is why the game takes so long to platinum. This is where the game shines though, there are so many moves to use from the world that it can be a little overwhelming. When I say a lot. I genuinely think every single special move is in the game from the shows. Which is brilliant to be honest and some moves are just more powerful versions of their previous forms. One badass set of moves are obviously Super Saiyan if you chose that class. You can also use Super Vegeta which is a poweful version of SS which makes you able to spam Ultimate moves over and over again. Each character has different move presets and outfits to with different stats assigned to them so there's a lot to choose from as well. For the most part I used Vegeta when he was fighting Buu and some GT stuff was in it as well so I used Gogeta (Super Saiyan 4) and the pretty much kick ass. Trophies I think the rarity may put people off but the game isn't necessarily hard, it just involves a whole lot of luck. There's your usual complete story missions so all your sagas which give a nice amount of trophies. There's complete training with your masters, where you have masters from the universe and they teach you loads of new moves and you can raise your friendship with them. There's a trophy for finishing training with each master which again fills up quite a lot of trophies. There's a few online ones which can be easily boosted with a partner. Literally 7 wins and 7 revies and watch 7 matches, nothing hardcore like most fighting games to be honest. There's a few for completing all Parallel quests, again, nothing to painful about this. You can literally finish them with any ranking you want. You'll spend most of your time on them anyway farming for moves so you'll get Z rank a lot anyway for more XP and Zeni. There's one for having 500k Zeni at one time which will come naturally, since you don't really need to buy anything bar moves and healing stuff but you don't really need them either. Last but not least are the two UR trophies. Obtaining all Super and Ultimate attacks. This is what the game is basically all about, farming the Parallel quests. Once you have unlocked all of them, you then have to collect the dragon balls 4 times each to unlock more moves. The drops in the Parallel quest are so random. You can get them on your 5th try or your 50th you know but I didn't have that much problems with them to be honest. Conclussion Again, this is my first DB game so I can't really compare it to any other of the games but I found this one to be a whole lot of fun. If you do plan on platinuming this game then I suggest that you have some patience. Find something you want to watch, listen to etc and be in for a grind. I found it a fun one though but I'm a fan of the show so it was great fighting all these classic people from a show I grew up loving. If any help is needed with PQs then please let me know and I'll tell you my set up and stats for flying through all of them with absolutely no problems beating them.

But it was pretty easy in the end. Both Vita and PS4 versions. Dunno, i think i liked regular Midnight better than this Vita & PS4 Probably the best out of these easy plats oh and on PS4 version, i'm 7th fastest achiever so far with a time of 12:54 minutes. Popular Post Mesopithecus
#126. Demon Gaze Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 After being in a bit of a funk for a few weeks, I picked this to play on a whim and I'm glad that I did because I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has definitely become one of my favorite Dungeon Crawlers that I have played. The story is pretty decent and the dungeons are done in a way where they don't overstay their welcome - not too large with mechanics like trap floors and one way walls being very minimal. There is no overly tedious grind either, there is a trophy for killing enemies but the number is fairly low and easily achievable over the course of the game. There is nothing missable in the trophies overall and the two RNG trophies I ended up getting pretty quickly. I adored the design of the characters and the enemies, especially the demons. I felt that the game was very balanced overall and enjoyed being able to choose where to put my stat increases when I leveled up, makes the game feel very re-playable.
