Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 266 Fun: 3/10 Difficulty: Multiplayer frustration/10 Drive girls acts like it wants to be Senran Kagura but what you get is a multi car pile up composed of frustrating difficulty, controls that aren't responsive at times, enemies that juggle you infinitely due to there being no invincibility frames when getting up from being knocked down, a forgettable story, and a Multiplayer difficulty that is made easier once you do complete the multiplayer. (Shout out to @SnowxSakura for actually going through this trash heap and helped me with the Multiplayer) My best advice is just to avoid this game, it's not fun at all. And if you don't have help in the Multiplayer, you're in for a frustrating time. The only good thing that can be said about this game is that it runs smooth as butter. I never noticed a framerate drop regardless of how much action was going on. Edited September 9, 2021 by Rick_Sanchez
Popular Post EverythingOnFire
Platinum #29 Platinuminary Earn all other trophies for Sonic's Collection Great game, highly recommended! A few duds to stumble through, but overall it's an incredible value, and I really enjoyed the majority of my experience with this collection. I plan on revisiting it soon to do complete playthroughs of the Streets of Rage trilogy, both Ecco's, most of the Sonic titles, the Golden Axe trilogy, and Kid Chameleon.
Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #39 Life Is Strange 2 All Roads TraveledUnlock all Life is Strange 2 trophies. Time: 8 hours Difficulty: 1/10 Fun: 8.5/10 I was a massive fan of Life Is Strange 1 and Before The Storm when they came out, and I was even excited for this game when it came out. But for some reason, when we got closer to the release date I lost interest, I kinda regret that. The main characters Sean and Daniel didn't interest me when the game came out. But of course a while ago, True Colors got announced to come out tomorrow. So I finally bit the bullet and went for it, so here are my thoughts. At first I did not like the siblings, I thought that Sean was moaning way too much and Daniel was a brat. But I will always give people a chance to get used to. And after some ups and downs, I really started to like the Diaz brothers. The music was beautiful, music is always an important part for me, so having a great soundtrack like this makes me happy. The sidecharacters had their good and not so good (looking at you Lisbeth) but overal it had a good cast, with even a surprise character from the first game. The locations were amazing, I love the roadtrip vibes in games, they're nice. So yeah, with many ups and some downs I had and some downs, I had a fantastic time with the game! And I got an A-mail saying that Life Is Strange True Colors is on its way! The collectibles were nice, not as fun as in the first game, but still a lot of fun to collect. And as always, here's my platinum screenshot, not a great screenshot but I am cool with that: Now it's time to continue with my NEO The World Ends With You platinum.
Popular Post Cpt-Redding
Chivalry 2 Platinum #84: Difficulty: 5/10 Rating: 8/10 Time to Platinum: 45 hours Best trophy: Bring Out The Big Guns - Get 50 kills with siege weapons Worst trophy: Seeing Red - Achieve 2 kills in a row without dying while under 25 health Potentially the most fun i have had in a game this year. Never played the first but had heard of it so when the beta came around i thought i would give it a gander and was honestly addicted. The game is far from perfect and ill admit since i platted it my game time has gone down but it is ridiculously fun and there are not many games i continue to play after the platinum. Chivalry 2 walks a fine line between being overly gritty and realistic and down right ridiculous. Something to be said for hitting a knight, who has been launched through the air by a catapult, with a ballista bolt and pinning him against a wall. Coming out of an intense 3 vs 1 as the sole victor. Prancing around like Legolas hitting mad bow shots left and right. Just a shame that the developers seem to be making a bit of a mess of a game and its impossible to play with friends. Seems to have stolen a lot of the games thunder. In terms of the platinum, it is a bit grindy but nothing too out there and a fair few of the trophies are fairly imaginative and entertaining. The 50 kills in one game trophy was probably the hardest to accomplish but i quite enjoyed how it made me improve and really think about how i engaged in combat. The worst was Seeing Red simply because i did the requirements multiple times and it never popped and i honestly thought it was glitched and i would be cheated from another platinum. For gameplay and the platinum i would recommend this to anyone, my only concern is that the current issues with the game seems to be killing the playerbase and while bot lobbies make the plat somewhat easier, they make the game way less fun. Popular Post cubiCampla
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Platinum #67: Personal Difficulty: 3/10 Rating: 8/10 Time to Platinum: 21 hours Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was a great entry to the Ratchet & Clank series after the last mainline game on PS3 (Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus) and really shows off a lot of the unique features that the PS5 and Dualsense controller have! Having the weapons have different effects depending on weather you pull the R2 button half way or all the way was a great design choice and the game runs pretty much flawlessly. I played on Performance Ray-Tracing mode. The story could have been a little bit better but overall I enjoyed it and it fits kind of the child-like story with some adult humor thrown in that the series is know for; especially in the older games subtitles (Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Size Matters, Quest for Booty, etc.). I also love the addition of Rivet and hope she becomes another recurring character! Overall I really recommend this game and going for the platinum as it is rather easy. You basically just need to beat the game and get to the first weapons vendor in NG+ (Challenge Mode). I had to grind for the hidden teddy bears which kind of sucked because you don't get anything in-game for finding them all but the other trophies came pretty naturally to me besides one with the shield weapon but that was easy to grind out. Please check out this game if you have a PS5 and the rest of the series as well!
Popular Post TheArcadeKid
#231 - Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) My latest PS Now platinum. I only got the PS4 plat a few months ago, but I didn't mind revisiting the game at all - it really is that good. And I wasn't even sure I could get the plat a second time, considering I'd only just managed to beat the final combat challenge on PS4. But no, it was a lot easier this time around. Although funnily enough, there was some kind of connection error when I completed the hardest challenge - the game couldn't connect to the leaderboards, and my data didn't save, so I ended up having to do it twice. It's been said that the PS4 version of Arkham Asylum ruins the aesthetic of the original game. I can't really say I agree. In fact, I noticed virtually no differences between PS3 and PS4. PS3 version has a slightly lower resolution, and slightly faster load times, and that's about it. Maybe the PS4 version is slightly darker too, or slightly lighter, I can't remember - which tells me it doesn't really matter much either way. Anyway, this will probably be my last Batman plat. I'd like to plat City too, but the sheer amount of collectibles is rather overwhelming (and maybe a little convoluted too), plus I hear the challenges are a real step up from Asylum. Still, I never thought I'd plat Asylum either, so we'll see.
Popular Post cr1s
#569 - Atari Flashback Classics (Vita) Platinum Trophy Earn all trophies Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 2 words: Xari Arena. Sure, you can regularly back up your save and pause/unpause the game to make it easier and less intense, but completing all 32 waves in Xari Arena was still a decent challenge. The CPU partner was hit or miss, sometimes playing well but other times not. You can usually tell how well it will play within the first few seconds of a wave, although sometimes it will still mess up later on in a wave. I found that it handles the waves where the fireballs have curved trajectories the best. So yeah, it depends on your luck with it. Everything else was a lot easier and quicker. I'd definitely like to play the 3 volumes on PS4. The platinums there sound more challenging, and it'd be nice to have at least one of them as a milestone! #570 - Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified No More Worlds to Conquer Earn all available Trophies for Call of Duty® Black Ops: Declassified. Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Although a very short game, it was still fairly enjoyable, and the platinum provides a decent challenge with some luck involved for a couple of the trophies. With the absence of any trophies tied to the online multiplayer, the platinum focuses on the remaining 3 modes of the game: 1) Time Trials: Trophy guides recommend doing the Time Trials first since they serve as a tutorial. Well, it's mostly the first Time Trial, as the others barely add anything to the mix. The required times for the 3 stars are tricky, but the Time Trials themselves are very short (under a minute each). Memorization of the target spawns and a little practice were enough to nail them relatively quickly. All in all, it took me about an hour to get them all done. 2) Operations: This mode serves as the campaign and has the 3 hardest trophies of the game: - Double Down took me a couple of hours to get. One of the double kills (the very first one) is pretty much a freebie as you can take your time a little to line up your shot, but the rest? Let's just say that you gotta shoot at the right time and hope you get a double kill out of it, as sometimes only one of the enemies dies from the shot. - Pure as the Driven Snow took me an hour to do without the glitch. The first few areas don't have many enemies, while the last two have a bunch of them. Thankfully, there's a good amount of cover there, as well as a crossbow with explosive arrows and an RPG (in addition to your existing grenades) that allow you to get a few potential multikills and make things a bit easier. - Blood and Guts requires you to complete each mission on the hardest difficulty (Veteran). You need to go through it slowly and carefully, as you die within a few shots, your aim gets messed up when you get shot, several sections have many enemies, and there are no checkpoints. However, there are a few things that ease the challenge like missions being very short (10 minutes max each), snap-aim still being present, the occasionally derpy AI that just stands/crouches there sometimes and makes for EZPZ kills, and the complete lack of infinite enemy spawns and grenade throws. 3) Hostiles: A survival-based mode, Hostiles offers 5 maps that you need to get 3 stars on, which happens when you reach the specified number of kills for each map (150, 200, or 250). There's no in-game counter, but you can tell when to stop by completing a certain number of rounds (11, 15, and 18 respectively), with one or two more just to be sure. It wasn't difficult, especially since most maps have a good area where you can camp. Moreover, if you just stay at the camping spot, any enemies that spawn don't follow you there unless you exit that area and run around for a bit, and even then they only do so a few at a time, which makes things a lot easier. Derpy AI strikes again! - TL;DR: Decent Vita FPS in spite of several flaws, challenging and occasionally luck-based platinum.

Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #40 NEO: The World Ends With You This Trophy Ends with YouCollected all graffiti. Time: 116 hours Difficulty: 4/10 Fun: 10/10 Until a week before the release I did not expect to play the game, but after watching a playthrough of the first game and trying the demo, I was hooked, but I was like, I'll just play through the game and that's it. But they more I played it, the more confidence I got the more I felt that I could do it. So I went from "This won't be a platinum" to "It probably won't happen, but I may get the platinum" to "There's a slight possibility" to "This platinum is possible" to "I will get this platinum". And here we are! Another platinum in the back, probably one of my toughest. There are so many pro's: Collecting is fun, be it the pins, clothes, CD's or food. The story is fantastic. The gameplay is great, I call it a confidence builder. The city is beautiful with all of these colours. I love that you can change the menu theme with the CD's. The soundtrack is top notch, even the lesser ones are still fantastic. I love the playable characters, every single one of them. The interactions between the characters just make me smile. Most of the pins are a lot of fun to use. Grinding in this game is very addicting. The credits are very pretty. I love that the trophies are an ingame graphity both in the menu and in the street. Their designs are also really unique. Minamimoto, playable. There are probably more, but those came to mind real quick. A couple of cons, but they did not take away from my fun: Scramble Slam... you'll know if you've played it. I like the idea of a turf war, but the 2nd one was too much. That final grind was a bit draining. So yeah, if you're on the fence about the game, give the demo a try. You may love it, I sure did. I really hope that there's going to be a third TWEWY game, because I need more Minamimoto and just more of that gameplay, this game feels like a passion project. And here's my platinum screenshot, not the most amazing one, but I love it: I have no idea what my next platinum will be, but for now, I feel like I've earned enough platinums.
Popular Post Carol
#222 Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Ultimate Fall Guy Acquire all other trophies I like online games, so I started this game, when it was given on PS Plus, thinking it was going to be a fun experience. Unfortunately, the fun didn't last long and this turned out to be one of the most annoying and frustrating gaming experiences of my life. I played this game solo and there are just so many things I don't like about this game: too hard to win or even to reach the final round, my internet and this game didn't go well together, so I suffered disconnections often, but, above all, what I don't like is the nature of this game, too competitive and based on the philosophy "Play dirty and sabotage others to win". When it comes to online games, I am, mostly, a co-op player, so games that are too competitive or too based on griefing others are definitely not my type. It was my fault for starting it, but I definitely learned to stay away from these kinds of games. I actually deleted the game, when I reached a completion percentage that satisfied me, because I knew I would never get "Infallible" and the 20 wins trophy would be hard too. However, some months ago, the Infallible private lobby glitch appeared and it was too irresistible. So I downloaded the game again, found a nice discord group that helped me and got my trophy hunter revenge towards these devs that clearly wanted to troll us with "Infallible". However, I still had the 20 wins trophy left and it was a pain. I could play entire afternoons, hours on end, without getting a single win, which was incredibly frustrating. I was aware of the Hex-a-4041 time out boosting method, but people do this on the Australian servers and I kept getting kicked, because my internet connection wasn't good/stable enough, which was, once again, disappointing. Yesterday, I read that this event was available again, so I decided to give it another try, and to my great surprise, some Internet God might have blessed me, because, even though I had the bad connection symbol there all the time, the game, somehow, let me play on the Australian servers and, after a few hours, I was able to achieve the 11 wins that I needed and, to my great relief, I finally got the platinum. In conclusion, I only recommend this game, if you have a competent group of friends to play with, so that you can win or, at least, reach the final round often. I think this is the only way to have fun with this game. Playing solo, this was a horrible, tortuous experience and only my trophy hunter spirit, alongside with these glitches/boosting methods, didn't let me give up.

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 267 Fun: 9/10 Difficulty: 4/10 There's a point where having a huge map can pay off if there's things to do and not just to have it there to make things look big but you traverse like half or 2/3rd of the map and not touch some parts of it unless there's a collectable there. Deathwing has that issue to a degree. The maps are pretty huge but if you just follow the objectives you will likely not travel to certain areas of the map unless you have a guide for the relic locations. That issue aside, it is a fun squad based game that takes place in the warhammer 40K universe and you face off against the terrifying Tyranids, think giant bugs but with scythe claws and needle sharp teeth and in their ranks are human forms that use guns and other weapons against you. The worst trophies are leveling up each multi player class (minus one class) to level 7 which will take hundreds of kills and you got to do it in one go in the same mission without a game over when you/everyone in the lobby dies. Me and my buddy @SnowxSakura had issues going for these trophies where either I crashed or we both died in unfortunate incidents resulting in hours of work going to waste. There's also a 1,111 assist trophy and a 10,000 kill trophy which the 10,000 kill trophy will likely be your last trophy.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#373 - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas The Key to San Andreas Unlock all trophies (the use of cheats will disable all trophies). I have some history with this game. I remember getting it as a gift for my 10th Birthday on the PS2, because age ratings are for chumps. ? Like with all the other GTA games I played back then though, I never actually beat the story. Probably got about halfway through, not only because I sucked at video games, but most of my time was spent messing around in the open world. It's the kind of sandbox game that was endlessly fun as a kid. I have fond memories of going over to my friends houses and playing with the cheats. Good times, good times. Coming back to the game a good 15 years later, I've learned to appreciate the game in other ways. For example, as a kid, most of the dialogue and the plot went over my head as you can imagine, so it was nice actually being able to understand what was going on this time around. I also found myself impressed with the sheer scale of this game. Even as a PS2 game, the map still feels huge, and there's a ton of missions and other side activities to do. Even so, I felt like it didn't overstay its welcome like a lot of modern games do who believe that bigger must always mean better. Unlike GTA3 and Vice City, 100% in-game completion isn't required for the plat. The list basically just consists of completing all the story missions, dabbling in most of the side content, and finishing off with some kill grinding at the end. Probably the most tedious part of the plat was completing the car export lists since it required you to drive all over the map over and over again, but it wasn't too bad. The length of the game/time it takes to plat is pretty much perfect. Really enjoyed myself revisiting this classic. I'll leave off with my favourite song that played on the radio (K-DST is the best radio station hands down). You can be damn sure I cranked up the volume every time this started playing. ?
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#160 and 100% Control PS5 version My first meaty game on the PS5, courtesy of ps plus. You play as Jesse Faden, a woman whose brother got kidnapped many years ago by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) and taken to a top secret research facility called the Oldest House where investigations on paranormal activity occurs. Jesse and her brother Dylan were exposed to what is called an Altered World Event (AWE) as children. To describe an AWE - think of ANY ordinary object that is possessed by some supernatural powers. For example, a traffic light that has the power to bend time based on its 3 lights, a mirror that if interacted with will literally flip the whole world that you perceive in an inverted manner, and so on. Upon arrival at the Oldest House to find your brother, you discover that the whole place was ravaged by some supernatural enemy type tied to the aforementioned event encountered by Jesse and her brother. From there, you'll spend the entire game in the building exploring everything it has to offer Story-telling, while very convoluted, eerie and borderline WTF at times , was captivating if you actually read and watched every single collectible. I'd say you can get most of what is happening in the game by doing just that and having the patience to learn some new vocab if you will that is tied to the lore of the game. Some of the things I liked include: The Ashtray Maze was hands down the best thing in the game. PERIOD. View the spoiler at your own discretion! Spoiler The level design of the Oldest House was very well done, fun to explore and rewarding. The PS5 version looks stunning with ray tracing although I opted for 60 fps mode which is better suited for gameplay and seeing those glass shards falling so smoothly . Collectibles and videos were interesting, especially the ones coming from a guy called Dr. Darling (who is the VA of Alan Wake btw!). His "Dynamite" recording was one of the best things in the game . Spoiler In terms of gameplay, the best way to describe it is you're looking at a third person shooter fused with inFAMOUS-type powers. Won't elaborate further as it's best imo to just see everything yourself firsthand! DLC While it has been nothing but praises so far, unfortunately, the DLC for this game was meh. What made the base game so amazing was that it took its time with world building and storytelling and lightly peppered you with collectibles to ease yourself into the world of Control. However, the DLC just thrusts you straight into action with little to no mystery. Your objective is set from the start and nothing extraordinary will happen as the plot progresses. The collectibles felt like they were strewn around randomly too, sometimes with a massive info dump spanning tons of collectibles to read in one tiny area. The redeeming factor though is that you get a couple of new powers and weapons to toy around with. Having said all that, Control was an enjoyable experience overall but I can see why it may not be for everybody if you like a clear cut story. Well, onto the next!
Popular Post Phlegeth
End Earn all Trophies This was a terrific game. If you have any interest in Metroidvanias at all, definitely check this out. When I first saw it, I thought it was a Vanillaware game. The sprites are very pretty. I mean, the monsters themselves are grotesque, but the sprites are nice. The plat is pretty easy. This game has one of the best features I've seen. The room on the minimap changes color if you've grabbed everything. And I like to grab everything before continuing on and everytime I got a new ability I went back to the blue rooms to see if I could clear them. When I got to the final boss, I had everything ready for both endings. And I want to share this jump. It's not necessary for the plat, but here it is. Popular Post Janire1911
Borderlands 3 (PS5) #318 Ultimate Vault Hunter Got the PS4 platinum a few months ago and now I decided to go for the PS5 plat. I've read that some trophies might be buggy but I didn't run into any during either my PS4 or PS5 playthrough, though I didn't save transfer my PS4 save, instead I started a fresh playthrough on PS5. The only bugs I ran into were that during my first run of Slaughterstar 3000 one enemy got stuck inside a wall and I couldn't kill him so I had to restart the run (this also happened once during one of the Eridian Proving Grounds). Then on my second run after killing the bosses one enemy had become unkillable but luckily I was able to push him off the map and kill him that way so I hadn't to do the entire run again.
Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #114 Ultra Age Ultra Age is a indie hack and slash game released just this week. Since I watched the trailer a few weeks ago it caught my interest. Is this game any good? The story is about the progatonist Age going to a certain planet with his robot partner Helvis to search for a relic for his client. He has only few days of life left, but if he is succesful in his mission, he will be rewarded with eternal life. As we advance the story more information about the world is presented to us. I will not lie, I did not care about the story until the last hour. I found Age and his robot partner very uninteresting, so it was hard to care for them. It is like a fighting game: the story is there only to explain why we are fighting. I think they got inspiration from Nier Automata for the story and setting, but failed in the execution. Graphically I think the game is ok. There are many better looking games out there, but it is good enough that you will not think "wow, this game is ugly". The soundtrack is mediocre, as is the voice acting (japanese). But what caught my interest in this game was the gameplay, and this is the sole selling point of the game. But this was well done, because the combat is pretty fun. In the end you will have 6 different swords to choose from, each working better against a certain type of enemy. When the durability of your sword is low you can dispose of it to release a powerful attack, but dont worry: your swords are made of crystals, and there are many of them scattered around the world, so you will not run out of them. At least I did not even come close to it. The combat is really similar to DMC: fast paced combat with tons of mobility and the ability to chain combos. I only wish we had to use more of the weapons. From the 6 swords I mainly used 2, and only used the others very occasionaly. One of them I did not even use. There is no difficulty option, but I do not think the game is hard. As long as you use the right sword against each enemy and dodge the right way you should not have trouble. The most dangerous part are the bosses. The hardest fight by far is the last boss. This fight is a really nasty and unecessary power spike. The platinum is extremely straightforward: just play the game and you will get all but 3 trophies, all of them related to Power Gears. I will not say that those are hidden, because the maps are small and there arent hidden paths in the minimap, but you may have trouble getting 20 of those. Personally I do not know how many of those are there, but I got 22. They are used to upgrade some of your skills. I would even say that this trophy is missable, because when I finished the game there was no chapter select or new game plus option. When you choose to continue after beating the game you are put on the last area, and I was unable to find a way to go back from there. But even if there is it does not help much, because this game is not open world, and you cannot return to previous areas anyway. I liked Ultra Age. Although it lacks a engaging story and memorable soundtrack, the polished and engaging combat make it worth for the somewhat cheap release price. I hope this game sells well so the developers can make a better game in the future.
