Popular Post MonsterCondo
Platinum # 125 - Quake Great Old One You have conquered all the realms of the Elder Gods. Congratulations. What can I say about this game, one of my favorites FPS of all time, The platinum is not that hard but it is really tedious to obtained it. I really recommend this game if you played it back in 1996, and if not, I also recommend give it a chance.

It takes influence from Hollow Knight and Salt and Sanctuary but still manages to be its own! I am so surprised this game came from an indie developer! For any fan of Metrovania or 2d games… or for anyone that likes good games in general this is a must have!

Popular Post Quink666
#387 The Suicide of Rachel Foster Platinum 87.45% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 3 Hours Recently picked up these two games since they were on my wishlist and both heavily discounted. The Suicide of Rachel Foster was not what i expected. I was sure i was getting another walking sim with a slightly above average story, but the story was great in this game. Not at all what i expected. Won't spoil it to much here but you are kinda playing detective solving a cold case and it was great. Trophies was as expected for a game like this mostly story with a few misc trophies. If you like Everbody's Gone to the Rapture, Ether One you will definitely like this one. #388 Celeste Heartbeat 30.45% Difficulty: / Fun: / Trophies: / Time to Plat: 6 Hours Tried playing this without assist mode for a while but quickly remembered that platformers are my Achilles heel. But i still wanted to experience the game since i got so many great 10/10 reviews all over the internet. Story was alright and even with assist mode on it found it fun to play. To anyone who got this platinum legit, you got my respect!
Popular Post Darghel
#116 The Caligula Effect Overdose (The Caligula Effect Overdose...yeah it's one of those trophies) Difficulty: Very easy but has some big flaws. A guide is recommended. Time to Complete: 54 hours split into 2 playthroughs (50 + 4) Recommended: Yes, very recommended! Total Score: 7/10 Hearing that the second game is not too far from coming in the rest of the world I decided to tackle the first game on the ps4 and attempt to get it done (sadly the Vita version is now delisted from the store). I remember the game being pretty good, the combat was definitely a unique take and allowed a lot of experimentation, plus the idea that you're basically in a simulation makes the game world interesting enough. Unfortunately...there are issues, lots of issues, and this is why I couldn't give it a higher score. I want to start with the positives: the story itself starts pretty well, as you discover you're in a fake world called Mobius, and that you're in a club called "Go-home" where your objective is, well, "to go home"! In here you'll meet your initial cast and while you start to be the first with the catharsis effect, everyone will get theirs eventually. The story itself is not exactly special: your objective is to escape this fake reality and go back to the real world, however, the real question begins when you realize "why" you are all here, as you come to realize that nobody in this world is innocent, and everyone, and everybody, including the villains, have traumas that lead to this place. And this what really makes the game more interesting: the characters, and villains, aren't just characters who want to save the world or just feel cool, they are victims of their traumas that lead to this place because they couldn't fulfill it in the real world, and some of them legitimately surprised me. I wasn't exactly attached to them because they were good characters (they are kinda forgettable, but they could be worse) but because of how they're victims of the circumstances and how their traumas defined them. And they're all fairly relatable too, especially the villains, which this version allows you to play as and you get to discover a lot of hidden stories and you legitimately feel sad for some of them... Spoiler Like how you find out that Wicked, the most despicable and crazy driven of the Musician, who hates everyone and despises friendships, is a comatose girl in real life who was almost beaten to death by her family. Suddenly you realize why she wants to destroy the world...cause she has nothing left and she might as well die doing what she likes rather than stay in a bed. Too bad though that once the final act begins, the plot turns into a "bad girl wants to destroy the world because baddy bad bad" and makes no sense anymore: even after all you did for the villains, doing their scenes and maximizing their relationships, everything is thrown away and now it's all about destroying the world. It would've made more sense if I took over the bad girl and decided to remain in the fake world while letting everyone out, but nope let's destroy the world, and consequentially the fake world. This is a total waste of potential, and it's even sadder knowing that your big reveal at the end has even an anime scene and more dialogues. But nope, let's destroy the world because baddy bad bad... Oh well, these are only the positives because there's a lot of negatives...a LOT of them! The combat itself is great, it's very interesting to combo skills and doing air juggling, and overall I really liked to experiment with it...until I got tired 2 hours in and went for the spam tactic. No offense but the combat, while fast and enjoyable at first, isn't as rewarding as it should and you don't get a lot of experience from fighting (nor money either), resulting in a huge grind of exp. In addition, the enemies are ALL THE SAME, I am not kidding: all you fight are students, only students, just students. The only difference they have is in their "attachments" on the back and what skills they use, BUT THAT'S IT! The bosses are the only exceptions...even though all of them are recycled from your roster! Except for Kotaro and Wicked, all characters are identical to their counterpart! Well okay, they do have different moves and sometimes have different skills, but the animation is identical: Sweet-P has a bow like Kotono, Mirei has a hammer like Mifue, Naruko and Shone-Doll have "lasers" and Ike-P has dual guns like the MC. It's really annoying to see so much recycling especially when the game roster is so huge (10 characters from each side + yourself as both the MC and the 11th musician, if you play the Ostinato Route). And one more thing about the combat that annoyed me to no end: the accuracy. The game is so easy even at normal (and hard) difficulties, that the real main difference between them isn't as much as the damage they do but rather at the ease of missing them on your hits: this means that the only difficulty spike you get is just how much you can miss and this is more annoying than you think, because one miss can essentially screw your combo! I had so many times where my MC, failing to break a shield, essentially ruined the entire combo of my group, forcing me to waste time. That is so annoying that I just stopped doing that and went full spam... Another big issue is how the quests work: you have to interact with students to get their quests and there are over 524 (!!!) students in the whole game...however where they are is unknown. You can befriend those with a 0 but can't with a lock until you befriend someone nearby their causality link, forcing you to scout them around the maps. This is a HUGE problem because you have no idea where they could be, zero, and this is where a guide is recommended because you are required to get the class leaders quests for a trophy, as well as complete 100 of them. The only positive here is that their quests are usually fairly simple and won't take too long to complete but a lot of the items and bosses you need to fight are only unlocked later and becomes difficult to keep track of them. Especially when you can't search by trauma, which would've helped a LOT! And lastly, but totally not least, the game graphics are decent but damn there's so much recycling even here...dungeons look cheaply made, there's a lot of assets being recycled throughout the whole place, and even the characters look like garbage (they rarely make expressions and don't even move their mouths!). And again, due to how the game recycles a lot of stuff, it feels the game is very cheaply made, despite being a remake with more content than the vita version. Sorry for the long wall but still...I really liked this game! For all the flaws it threw at me I still kept going forward! I wanted to know why this character is like that, or why the musicians are like this, or who's the person behind that mask - as you discover that, being a fake world, anything is possible! Plus I really liked the music - nothing amazing but it was catchy and I liked to listen to it while running through the dungeons - and the voice acting was....good I guess? If I knew Japanese maybe I could say more but I don't, so I assume it's good. Trophy wise the game is also very easy: there are no missables for the most part unless you purposedly skip dialogues. I would recommend going for the Ostinato route first as you can get all the cutscenes for both parts since you still can choose the good ending regardless of your affiliation. It's just an extra part after each dungeon where you play as Lucid but that's about it. The go-home route, the original from the vita game, is basically the same game but without you playing as Lucid. Overall, I highly recommend it if you can get it cheap: it's a game that surprised me how Traumas can define a person to that core and makes you feel bad for them (Ayana, in particular, made me feel even worse after going for the bad ending, as a female protagonist, since your gender does affect dialogues and even some cutscenes). It's nothing amazing or anything that will ascend to greatness, but it's a good jrpg with some good story and some pretty decent characters - and not too hard trophies. I recommend it if you find it cheap! Now it's time to wait for the sequel! Edited September 1, 2021 by Darghel
Popular Post zid2016
Bought it because it was only 29 cents. Game has a good soundtrack and was like 3/10 on difficulty for me, cause I suck at platformers. For most players who are good at platforming, this is 1/10 game that can be completed in couple of hours.
Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
Platinum #23 - GRIS (August 30, 2021) Technically a 2D platformer, GRIS is more a surreal dream experience about coping with traumatic events. Each chapter of this lovely side scroller is themed around one of the five stages of grief, expressed through a gorgeous watercolor palette. Our protagonist, the eponymous girl navigates through each stage solving simple, but often clever, platform puzzles. As cliché as it may sound, GRIS is more of an experience rather than a game. Abandon expectations of a frantic platformer or boss rush game; what difficulty exists is mild to say the least. The Good There is no dialog nor text in the game. Color themes for each chapter and great use of the cinematic camera convey the story The soundtrack performed by Berlinist is evocative, haunting, and heartwarming Controls are tight and responsive Very relaxing to play; the perfect come-down game The Bad The length; it took me only 4 hours to complete, including some secret hunting. A couple more hours of playtime would have been welcome! Chapter select unlocks only after the playthrough is complete 100% Impressions A couple of tricky trophies, but in general this is not an intimidating trophy list. I've completed this on Steam, and was very excited to add the Platinum to my collection as it's just such a well done and unique game. All trophies can be done in a single playthrough, and those missed can be easily nabbed in the post-game. Everywhere that other indies fail at artistic greatness, GRIS succeeds 10 times over. Play this game.

Popular Post Kal-El457
Black Ops 4 Difficulty : 8-15/10. LUCK/SKILL DEPENDENT Fun: 5-8/10. Depends how you feel about the different modes(blackout etc) PSNP Rarity : 0.69 PSN Rarity : 0.1 I normally post here sometimes if the game felt good to plat or if I feel really accomplished after the Platinum. This game is absolute madness to plat overall. It's one of the most RNG/Luck based and insanely difficult games I've attempted but also insanely FUN. For reference, I started this game on August 20th and I plat it Sep 1st. This is not the norm. I met ppl along the way that still haven't plat after 2yrs of attempts on the overall game. My playtime was 115HRS on paper from my PS5 tracker but I was idle at least 10-15HRS in zombies games when going for The "Prestigious Award" trophy as maxing out guns is very tedious. I also spent time doing some DLC's on the game which factor in overall time played. I have DLC 1 and 2 completed, DLC 3 is almost done and I spent time on DLC 5 as well. Getting 10 Blackout wins can take a long time, I am a skilled player on regular multiplayer but blackout felt sluggish and boring if u actually want to play for wins as you need to hide and play smart for the best chance at being alive at the end for a chance at winning/getting characters for some of the 2 blackout character trophies. Traditional multiplayer was easy for me, I averaged 60-100+ kills every game as I generally do well on cod games when released day 1 and this game is older now and was free on PS+ so there are way more casual players on it meaning I would absolutely destroy lobbies. I leveled from 1-55 In 7 hrs for that trophy and got the 50 wins trophy at 13hrs played. The 2 specialist trophies came super quick during that 7hr leveling process. Zombie trophies are difficult if u don't play with at least 1 friend, coordination is key. They can take a good amount of time and tries and it can feel terrible failing a round and having to do steps for the easter egg again.. All in all, this is 1 of the rarest plats you can have for a good game on this site. It has around 35+ Ultra rare trophies on PSNP I believe. Very cool and fun to go for but can easily take 100's of hours. Edited September 2, 2021 by Kal-El457

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #284: Duke Nukem Forever Difficulty: 6/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 15+ Hours Hardest Trophy: Damn I'm Good ( Complete the SP campaign on Insane Difficulty ) After completing this last month, I talked at length in my status update review how Duke Nukem was my childhood. The old DOS platformers (Duke Nukem 1 & 2) and the highly praised Duke Nukem 3D will always be relics of my childhood, a time now long past and long gone. It saddens me to know that there will probably be another Duke Nukem game. The Duke one liners, sex appeal and raunchy jokes would all likely be too offensive by today's politically correct standards. Furthermore, Duke Nukem himself doesn't belong in today's world of gaming. He is essentially a parody of 1980s/1990s action heroes such as Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The game itself, not that great. Duke Nukem Forever tried to incorporate modern elements (Call of Duty) with old school elements (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, DOOM, etc) and it just didn't work. Graphics are sub par, compared to other games like LA Noire and Dead Space 2, this game has rather poor graphics. There are several mandatory platforming sections that would throw off a lot of people, I found them downright annoying. In one particular section of the game, you are tiny Duke fighting your way thru at Duke Burger. You have to save a girl from getting electrocuted, and to reach the switch that turns off the power, you have to do a whole bunch of platforming while fighting off enemies. The voice actor of Duke Nukem returns in Duke Nukem Forever. Jon does a solid performance as Duke, giving him a macho vibe and feel. The side characters are rather forgettable. This was the games attempt to make itself more modern, but it failed because I literally don't know what the general or the president did. Everyone except for Duke was easily disposable. I had a little more fun with the DLC, because it featured a returning old villain and the levels were more compact. Unfortunately I found the base game a bit boring, as it does nothing new. Who knew that Las Vegas, Nevada would end up being dry? This trailer on its own looks far more exciting and energetic:
Popular Post coldhardcrash_
#83 Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD Fun: 7/10 for main game, 2/10 for mini-games Difficulty: 8/10 Time to Platinum: ~40 hours PSNProfiles Rarity: 4.3% It's over...it's done. I had pretty much given up on this Platinum for almost a year, but after knocking out some trophies I previously struggled with, it was the motivation I needed to git gud and finally go all the way! What makes it hard, you may ask? The controls are overly sensitive and the camera is just horrendous. Those of you that have played this will know what I mean, particularly for the camera, as you cannot freely move it which becomes a real pain in some of the later levels. The main game is divided into 10 worlds and is actually quite fun, save for a few levels (the infamous 10-5 being the main culprit). The challenge comes in when you have to beat each of these worlds without using a continue (i.e. losing all of your lives) in one sitting to earn the Champion Medal for that world. And the even bigger challenge is the "Expert Course" in Time Attack Mode, where you have to complete the entire game in one sitting, without continues. That was my final trophy and took me over 2 hours alone due to taking everything slow and as careful as possible (you can see the time at the top of the screenshot, near the end of my run), farming lives where I can so I'd have enough when I eventually got to the dreaded 10-5. I'm not even going to waste my time talking about the incredibly horrible and pointless mini-games, but if you're interested you can check out the thread on this site about it all, complete with my rage-quit comments from a few months back ? Overall, it's a decent title that would've been MUCH better without the terrible mini-games, but very happy and proud to have finally finished it!

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#371 - Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Scorched Savior Collect all other Saints Row: Gat out of Hell trophies Kinda disappointed with this one. There just wasn't much of substance here. The story missions are few and far apart, so the vast majority of playtime is spent doing the game's side activities (basically the same as the ones in previous games) and completing challenges (weapon kills, collectibles, etc). While it doesn't take particularly long to get the plat, it felt longer because it's basically just a grind from start to finish. Even the story that was there wasn't particularly rememberable. I thought Saints Row 4 jumped the shark a bit with how OTT it was, but at least it was entertaining. Gat out of Hell felt like old hat. But hey, even after saying all that, I did still enjoy my time with it, if only because it was an excuse to talk to my buddy (and co-op partner) @Redgrave. I sure as hell would rather play this game than that abomination of a reboot. #372 - Sakura Succubus 3 Lovely Succubi Find everything there is to find about your Succubus friends. Finally got around to playing part 3 of the glorious Sakura Succubus saga. Always a treat to sit down with one of these games and admire the beautiful art. This one adds yet another new succubus to the MC's harem (lucky bastard). She's a bit possessive, but I like that. She also hates wearing shoes apparently. ?
