Popular Post Viscera1900
#323 - Lost Judgment Master Detective "Obtained all other trophies." Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Completion time: 103 hours / 4 weeks, 1 day I recently completed Judgment about 3 months ago, so this game felt really familiar. Visually & gameplay wise it's same as Judgment, but with few new additions to Yagami's combat arsenal, mini games and a new city (Ijincho) to explore. The story of this game can be hit or miss for some people, but for me it's a big hit. It explores the topic of school bullying in Japan. I found it really interesting, so I just kept playing story missions and hardly played & completed side cases until I was done with the main story. Combat system is fun as ever especially with the new combat stance; Snake. It focuses on parrying and countering enemies' attacks. In the end it's my most used combat stance in Lost Judgment. Trophy wise It's about just as challenging as Judgment (PS5 version). Very time consuming list to complete, but since I liked the game so much; I didn't mind that at all. |center][/center]

Omelette Paradise
#516 - Blind Postman After just finishing up with Slayaway Camp I thought it would be a good time to switch my attention to another block sliding puzzle game from my backlog. This game has a lot less character to it though and the bland block style of the levels here reminded me of Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions a little bit. I had a good time for what I paid for it though and the levels have a decent amount of challenge to them. I was a big fan of the relaxing soundtrack too. blacklight-nero
#359 A Tale of Paper #360 Metamorphosis #361 Pumpkin Jack All decent games but Pumpkin Jack was by far my favourite and the most fun of the lot. I like the fact that it was also made by one guy well mostly that’s just great that it’s as good as it is. Popular Post Hollow_Heart-
#77 Rayman Legends This game was a lot of fun playing co-op. The platinum didn't seem to be too difficult, and after I accidentely deleted my savefile of Rayman Origins, close to earning that platinum.. I saw this game as a second chance?. Nonetheless, it still took me over 7 years to finally earn the platinum trophy Edited November 3, 2021 by Hollow_Heart-

Popular Post Shaun1094
Far Cry 2 So glad to finally have this tedious platinum done. I did the multiplayer grind a while ago and it took me a long time to get the motivation to finish the singleplayer trophies. The multiplayer grind consisted of killing my two dummy accounts over and over again (I used 3 consoles to self-boost) with every single weapon, some had to be headshots, some multi-kills, some executions which results in around 9,000 kills so that took a long time. You also have to gather 15 other players together for one trophy. The singleplayer wasn’t much better tbh. You couldn’t use the fast travel system because it would essentially break your save and lock you out of completion so you have to drive everywhere and you’re constantly being chased by other vehicles so you have to get out and kill the enemies, then repair your vehicle and then continue. The guns jammed a lot so you would need one of the 8 golden AKs which were scattered around the map and would be much more durable or you would have to keep going to a gun shop lock up and swap out your weapon for a brand new one. You would tire easily from sprinting and have a horrible blur effect on screen when you were tired. That’s just a number of annoyances you have to deal with. Would definitely not recommend going for this platinum unless like me you are planning to complete all the Far Cry games which I would suggest not doing ?
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#568 - Return of the Obra Dinn Interesting and original concept. Unfortunately not quite what I had hoped for. The process of finding the "clues" ended up being more teious than I thought it would be. A lot of time wasted waiting around, could've just not put a timer on anything and just be able to proceed whenever you're done with the area. Omelette Paradise
#517 - Die With Glory Quite a fun point & click game in which the goal is to guide the main character Sigurd, a brave viking warrior, to the most glorious death possible so that he can live out his afterlife in Valhalla. This often requires you to think backwards when it comes to completing the levels and made for an interesting gameplay mechanic. A little on the short side and I found the controls a little bit fiddly, sometimes annoyingly so, but I had a good time with it and it's worth a go if you're into point & click games. I don't recommend paying full price though due to the short runtime so wait for a sale.
Popular Post DearieHimemori
#5: Killzone: Mercenary's Platinum Difficulty: 4.5/10 Fun: 7.5/10 Slightly late, but here we go. The Stealth, Demolition, and Precision contracts are thankfully can be done on the easiest difficulty, while I did the primary ones on Veteran difficulty. Blood Bank ruins the fun in this game, since you have to kill 10,000 enemies just for a Bronze trophy.
Popular Post demonoutcast
#105 - Metal Slug Anthology Was fun revisiting these classics from my youth. So many deaths within a short period of time. Would spend hours at the MS machines running and hurrying back to pop in quarters before the zero countdown Those memories I'll cherish forever. Straight foward platinum if you follow the second controller exploit, It will save you lots of time and frustration doing it legit, so in the end each slug title becomes a complete cakewalk and you can die infinitely! When doing Metal Slug 6; after losing both lives, make sure to hit start and square immediately on player 2 before the continue screen pops up, rinse and repeat. Otherwise it may count as a continue. The prisoner trophies are skill dependent and will happen to give you a hard time (Metal Slug 5 especially). Thanks to BushidoCypher's in depth guides on YT, I was able to ace them in one night Difficulty: 6.5/10 Time: 16 hours Fun: 7/10 Edited November 5, 2021 by demonoutcast

Popular Post PXNKCAT
Assassin’s Creed Origins is my 50th trophy! The game is such a masterpiece! I totally recommend it if you’re into stealth &/or western RPG games. It’s ? a comeback for the series. They improved so much and changed a few things in this game compared to the previous games. One of the few criticism I have for the game is that I wish it didn’t take that long for the 100% completion. I’m definitely looking forward to playing Odyssey & Valhalla next. Woo!✌️? Popular Post Darghel
#120 The Caligula Effect 2 (Guess the game again?) Difficulty: Easy but relaxing, nothing too hard. Time to Complete: About 58 hours split into 2 playthroughs (54+4) Recommended: Yes, especially if you liked/disliked the first game Total score: 8 Well, this game was the whole reason I got into the Caligula Effect games to begin with. I remember hearing about the sequel months ago, and telling myself "I should try it again before the sequel arrives". And so I did, resulting in me loving the Caligula Effect: Overdose more than expected (I even watched the anime...and I don't like anime) and I would constantly listen to the OST (I even got it through steam, even if incomplete). I just regret not having purchased the original on vita...ah shucks now I'm going to Redo too uh? All this to say that Caligula Effect 2 is a sequel worth of being called so...but damn it still has problems and I HOPED they would be all fixed! First things first, gameplay and graphics have drastically improved: characters are now more detailed and combat is now faster and more rewarding (and a little more challenging). This makes the combat a lot more enjoyable, easier to get into and makes me wanna escape less. The stigma system has been improved and how it works is you get passive from learning the skills from the stigma itself, alongside the equipped stigma. Can't be stacked but there are many types of passives, which gives a lot of experimentations. And they also added a super mode, called X-Jacking, which can be improved with X points and allows for a lot of bonuses for a short time. The game's graphics are more colorful and enjoyable to the eye, delivering the fake world idea really well as it all looks "plastic". The characters themselves are a lot more varied and actually well written and there are plenty of characters this time around, not just students. Questing has been improved a lot: we don't have 524 people to track down but only about 200 and about 153 quests in total, which is less but considering that you can actually TRACK people on the causality link, this already makes the original Causality Link obsolete. Plus there are many more quests this time around. And the music, once again, it's top-notch: Eternal Silver, Swap Out, Designed Desires are some of my favorite tracks in the game, and even some of the Remixes are just amazing, if not better than the original game. Even if you're not a fan of this type of music, there will be something that will catch your ear. And yet....and yet the game has still plenty of issues that make the game just not great. It's a GOOD game, and a GOOD sequel, but there are some issues in it that if fixed, it could've made it GREAT. In particular the story. I won't spoiler anything for obvious reasons, but the story was quite disappointing. The last bits of the game felt incredibly underwhelming, as we really don't discover anything at the end of the game (heck we don't even see our real selves after the end credits) and the only infos we get about the Musicians are hidden inside a small book, in post-game, after you beat their powered versions...what the heck?! The lack of a musician route was already a bit of a red herring, but i expected them to be more developed and have more scenes but it happened the total opposite. Now granted, Overdose was a remake of the original game, which also suffered the same issue. But this is a SEQUEL, and they only needed to give more important scenes to each musician, but instead, not only do we get fewer musicians and fewer scenes, but just less in general. And the big plot bomb? Literally Laughed upon. I was completely stunned because it was supposed to be a big deal, but it was treated in such a poor manner that it killed my enjoyment. And that is truly a shame because everything else was great! The character's episodes were interesting, some less but a few of them were very interesting and enjoyable, and they kept me longing for more. The combat was also very fun, but still extremely easy: I played most of the game hard and I hardly had any issues. Maybe the last boss, but only because I was somehow underleveled despite fighting almost all enemies on my way. And I wish they let me learn skills on benched characters since skill points are very little each battle (I think max you can get is 10 and some later stigmas require 120 skill points) And once again there's a lot of recycling: 2 dungeons are recycled twice (The train station and the hospital, even if very short) and there's once again ONE enemy. With the exception of bosses, even if some are recycled as well, most of the game is once again kind of cheap on the enemies...they couldn't have at least another type of enemy?! Oh wait, I forgot there's actually a totally new enemy that it was never before in the game! A wheelchair. Spoiler Funnily enough this thing almost caused me a wipe. No joke! I'm not saying this game is terrible, at all: infact this is a game I can easily recommend to anyone who enjoys jrpgs, unlike the first who had far too many issues to be easily recommended. But still I feel disappointed that the story was a letdown, and there's still a lot of recycling. But I can't say I didn't have fun, because I actually did: quests were more enjoyable and easy to do, tracking people made things easier, and combat was a lot of fun too. It's just the story, one of the things that I really enjoyed of the first game, isn't as good here. Heck the bad ending is probably a little better... Bottom line, it's a good sequel to caligula effect, but not as good of a story. Trophy wise the game is also pretty easy, with potentially one missable trophy if you're not careful (I say potentially, because there's some rng, and if you sell stigmas you may not have the right ones needed, requiring a second playthrough) but also requiring a second playthrough because of the need of getting the bad ending, which can be achieved at chapter 6 (the game is 8 chapters long). What can I say, it's still a good game, and I'll probably enjoy listening to its soundtrack, but I expected a lot more from the story perspective. But hey at least it's a fun game this time around! Popular Post Deluziion90
#454 - Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy This Is What We DoWin every trophy. Another platinum for another great game! The game took me around 20hrs to platinum and was a lot of fun! The story is just really fun all the way as the characters keep mocking each other and there's not much silence in the game. If you're a fan of the marvel movies then this is a game you'll enjoy for sure. The road to the platinum itself is a little bit annoying but not too much trouble. There's unfortunately a lot of collectables again and missing some can cause a lot of trouble because chapter select deletes your progress. So you really have to get everything in 1 go. Thankfully PowerPyx provided a great guide and when putting the youtube video's on x2 speed it's pretty easy to follow along so you can keep continuing the story. Overall rating: Fun 8.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Total time: ~20hrs

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 272 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: GETTING THAT !#$?ING GIANT BEAR WITH THE ROCKET FARTS AND THAT GIANT COW HIDING IN THE FOREST ON THEIR RESPECTIVE LEVELS/10 Katamari Damacy ReRoll is a remaster of the first game and it's still as awesome as it was on the PS2. Your the son of the king of all cosmos that went on a drunken driving spree that ended up destroying all the stars in the sky and now you have to fix his screw up by rolling up objects on earth for him to use his magic to recreate the stars in the sky. This game isn't for the plot, it's for the unique gameplay. You get most of the trophies completing each level and the remaining trophies requires you to roll up one of every object and collect every present. That sounds easy and simple if it wasn't for the few things that require you to be a certain size or else you'll be too big for the object to show on the map for you to roll up. Also, there's two specific levels that will bring an AVGN style rage to you. They both require you to roll up only one specific type of object, be it a bear or a cow, then the level is over. You can roll up other things to grab a bigger bear or cow, but in order to get the level exclusive cow/bear, you have to get really big and play dodge the cow/bear objects. The level will end even if you pick up someone in a cow / bear costume, something with a cow pattern for the cow level, or even a sign that has a bear on it. And since both levels have things that can ram into you causing you to fly across the map, this will bring a ton of rage to you.
Popular Post MrGarland
Platinum #121 The Mummy Demastered Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 6 hours (completed in 1 day 7 hours) Enjoyment: 7/10 I get game recommendations every once in a while, and this is one of them. Since it was Halloween last weekend, I decided to play this game for that occasion. Because the game's short length, I'll also keep this post short as well. The first thing I should mention is that I have never played any Metroidvania-style game, so this was my first experience with that. Gameplay-wise, it was pretty good. Same can be said about the music, though the boss battle music was blank. One thing I have to admit is that I made a mistake from the beginning. If I had used the map found from the trophy guide, I could've saved myself from a major headache. I had to reload my save a couple of times just because I died every once in a while and I didn't have all the upgrades. So in case you're planning to platinum this, use the map from the beginning. It saves a lot of time. Another thing I wasn't too fond of were some of the enemies. Those flaming skulls were annoying, but the worst ones were the mummies that come out of the coffin and they appear out of nowhere. They also respawn infinitely. I did manage to anticipate whenever they would appear, but still. I also might as well say that the relics (the game's collectibles) just suck. As I mentioned earlier, I could've made things a bit easier for myself if I had used the map from the beginning. I spent at least an hour looking for the last two relics I was missing. After collecting all 50 of them, then what? The trophy did pop at the end, but I was expecting something different besides that. I don't know if they have anything to do with the movie, but I'm not going to look that up. All in all, though it has flaws, it was a pretty good experience. Next project: Spoiler I might as well say that I didn't even plan to play this game, but I have to. Why? I'm not going to tell all the details, but let's just say someone needs help with it, so I might as well do so. *sigh* How do I get myself thrown into these things...
