This is definitely one of the trophies I'm really proud having in my collection. I started ranking up using Zangief but I had to change my plan after gaining Silver Rank.
Brute force wasn't enough, so after losing again I changed my main to Ryu. But I kept losing and ended up demoted to Ultra Bronze, so a different character wasn't a wise choice and after losing with the usual flowchart Ken I ragequitted.

I was angry, and I felt I was doing no progress, so I needed to change my mind if I want to reach Gold. Like at school, little by little I began watching tutorials, studied every move, trying combos and anti-air, learned about zoning and V-Skills and even watched my own replays, to see where I made mistakes. 
I realized why sometimes skilled players call this game "Chess Fighter V". 
 

There are so many great players all over the world, and at this point when I lost to them, I learned something new, like the right time to execute that move or a terrific combo I would never have discovered. And it felt so good defeat every Flowchart Ken!
I usually do some practice in training mode for 5/10 mins before a ranking match, so with this preparation and this mindset, I slowly ranked up to Ultra Silver and I couldn't believe myself how far I have gone since Bronze days.

From this rank, now things are really hard. Most of Gold players can easily beat you, if you let your guard down for a second.
For almost a week, I went from Ultra to Super Silver and then Ultra...and again Silver. Ok, I'd better to stop for a while.

 

Today I was really motivated. Did some extra training, watched some enemies' V-Skills and Triggers, and after a 10 minute session in Training I was ready.
Won against two Ultra Silver, lost the rematch and managed to beat three Gold players, but I needed to take a break before last match.
Just 58 more points to this trophy. And...I was lucky, found someone badly using Ed and achieved an easy victory, ending with a critical art, too. 

 

GOLD RANK! YES!     

 

I still have to get "Priceless" trophy before platinum, but even after the plat I'll stick to this game, also can't wait to try the new character.

Since most challenges require you to have certain item(s) in your inventory for the Gold Medals, it's definitely better to do the challenges by category (e.g. races, Prestige Points earned from kills, etc.) to cut down on the number of unnecessary trips.

After two months and three days, I am excited to proclaim that I have achieved the 100% for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus for PS3 and this ends my journey to complete all Yu-Gi-Oh! games on PlayStation consoles before Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel comes out next year on the PS4 and PS5. Overall, while the gameplay mechanics are still very fun, this game has a lot of issues. First of all, the initial deck you start off with is ok with some decent cards in it, but the AI decks you have to face are extremely powerful and unfair compared to your own deck, almost requiring you to buy the overpriced and stupid DLC packs to avoid many hours of grinding to get a decent deck, especially in regard to beating Yusei and Jack's decks. Compounded with the in-game card distribution system being terrible, it makes building a good deck very hard. Next, the games have many technical issues with slowdown and lag spikes that are very common offline and the online have similar issues along with freezing and disconnections which makes doing any online grind a pain. For some reason, it isn't even available in my country anymore and I had to purchase the game, alongside its many DLC packs using the US PS3 store, in order to achieve this 100%.

 

Honestly, I don't recommend this game due to the many issues with it, unless you’re like me and wanting to achieve the same feat. Instead, play the PS4 games as those have better card pools, more enjoyable trophy lists and pretty good online in comparison to this game.

 

I am looking forward to getting Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel done when it comes out next year and hopefully it comes with a platinum!

 

I am glad to have this 100% in my collection!

Not only is it the hardest part, but it's also unfair. Since it's the last thing I need for the platinum, I  have to get through it. I might as well use some exploits someone mentioned in the forums and see if they work for me.

I probably have plenty of PP saved up for my VH run by now, I should be able to start it with around 7-8K (enough to max out a stat if I wanted, as you can see from the above trophy).

Burn baby burn!!! That  Godfather Trophy was an absolute fucking ass grind to the stone and I finally got the 1,000,000 Criminal Rating done and done. I chose to do the Hyman Condo method because I like to do 12,000 times when using the cheat code blowing up vehicles. Time for me to focus and prep for the next 650th milestone platinum.

I'll outright admit it now, I actually do enjoy Knack and don't think it deserves as much meme'age as people give it, though I will admit that even on normal the damage you take is very harsh, even with a large health ool you can sometimes die within 2-3 hits, now to do a few more playthroughs to get the other Knack skins and then to work on Hard and Very Hard.
