Popular Post TrophyChief
For the love of God and everything Holy gaming friends, get your online, server dependent, older, more obscure, PS3 games completed already! Time is marching on and we are quickly approaching the next generation of gaming consoles and games. Publishers/developers are moving on due to cost, time, and effort. If trophy completion matters to you, shift your emphasis and make these your priority. Is that motivation for ya?! ?

Those of you that have seen my threads know that MLB 16 has been abruptly unobtainable for almost 2 weeks. My friend and I emailed the devs over the weekend, and, well... Spoiler The weekly challenge is back, and thus the plat's obtainable again. Merry christmas, kiddos ?

TazDevilz1986
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan PS3/PS4, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 PS3/PS4. I wonder if Activision running also these games on their server. Since they aren't on that list same thing for Blood Drive and Chivalry, Apache Air Assault since they all are missing on that Games list. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Activision_video_games Edited February 21, 2020 by TazDevilz1986

Popular Post Sinthoras_96
Again: That List only means that games won't receive any updates / fixes anymore. It doesn't necessarily mean that the servers are shut down. And games like Apache, Blood Drive and Chivalry aren't developed by Activision. They only published them. So maybe the servers for these aren't under their control.

They have been doing random stuff and no one knows when or what they exactly shutting down. ? Edited February 21, 2020 by TazDevilz1986

These support lines are absolutely pathetic, seriously. I'm pretty sure no trophy fixes ever came from contacting them, but rather only when talking to an actual developer on a forum or website. I remember when I was pursuing a fix for "Catch the bad moment" over the phone on BFBC1, I got told to "clear my cache" by every single support agent to the point that I started my phone calls off with "for this upcoming issue, i've cleared the cache and it didn't work". It was only when I got put through to DICE that I actually had a sensible conversation and it got fixed 1 week later. What these corporations have in common is they outsourced their support lines a long time ago. They're no better than trying to call up Game Stop or Dollar Tree in trying to fix a problem. Chances are you will get someone who only knows English as a second language, they're reading off a script, and they've only been there for maybe a month or two working. It became cheaper to outsource support overseas rather than hire people from within the country to help customers. That's why Comcast, Time Warner, Dollar Tree, Walmart and EA have such terrible support. Customer Support has a very high turnover rate, and the people there have no idea what they're doing. The last time people had really good customer support was back in the 1990s and early 2000s. More companies had actual customer support with people who understood the business. Nowadays those kinds of jobs are nonexistent. It's much cheaper to get some hack from India or Jamaica to read off a script and deal with American/UK customers, because that cuts costs and saves these companies money. They became less and less consumer friendly. From my experience, once you reach the actual developers things get a lot better. But the support lines between them and you, not worth your time.
