Anyways it's not like it's forbidden to do any short games at all. A good measure is to compensate a short game (like Four Sided Fantasy) with a long game (like The Witcher III). We played The Witcher 3 in class and studied it, i dont think i’ll play it again after dumping over 200 hours on it on PC. I am just gonna pass on that one but i’ll compensate with a hard as nails game. Metal Slime King
I downloaded Downwell when it popped up on PS+. You could hypothetically get most of the trophies in 2x 10min runs (1 for normal, 1 for new game+) but unless you're a computer optimized for playing Downwell that ain't going to happen. It's simple to grasp but hard to finish. You do unlock stuff by repeated playing but none of that stuff make the game easy. Some of the 'styles' you unlock make the game easier but there is still no guarantee that anyone is going to beat this game in 10 hours or 100 hours. The levels are randomized so you're not memorizing layouts. The power-ups you pick up are random so you can't depend on them for any one run. You just have to keep playing and get better and eventually get a good run and make progress, or not. I believe the plat is still UR so it's definitely a valid potential completion killer.
Popular Post jasondm300
I skipped the last one, but I'm in for this one. 10 games 1.Wild Arms 3 (JRPG) 2. Root Letter (Visual Novel) 3. Deadlight (Horror Action) 4. Infamous Second Son (Open World Action/Adventure) 5. Infinite Air (Snowboarding) 6. Ratchet and Clank (Ps4) (Action Platformer) 7. Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (Old School Platformer) 8. Berserk (Warriors Action Game) 9. Rime (Adventure) 10. Risen 3 (Ps4) (WRPG) That should be a good mixture of games. This is the Order I'll do them as well

AJ_Radio
I wonder if it's okay to start for me to start this event late. I would like to participate in this event but I'll be working on two games off my backlog that I've been putting off for a long while now. So I'm guessing the 5/6 plan is to play five games for six days each, am I right? I do appreciate that you have to play for at least a number of hours on each game so you can have a grasp at the gameplay and the controls. Popular Post Jaguargenie
Thanks to @voodoo_eyes suggestion, I'm putting in some previews, and what I THINK each game will be like. These are all based on reviews ive read and videos watched. It will be fun to see how closely my expectations mirror the actual game. Salt & Sanctuary - i love the souls games. Love them. This looks and sounds like a 2d souls game. I can't wait for this one. Marvel heroes omega - if anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, this looks just like that. I put enough time to max out every character. This one seems like it incorporates loot but it's an mmo and free to play. Gonna be a new experience. Undertale - every review is a 10. Every video looks boring (has nothing to do with the graphics) so I don't know. Crysis 3 - futuristic FPS. However, trophy guides say you can play most of it in stealth mode w bow & arrow. I love stealth. Kinda excited about this one. Fallout 4 - did EVERYTHING in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. If this one is even half as good im psyched. Just worried about the settlement building everyone hates. Darkest Dungeon - 2d turn based rpg that is hard as nails. Kinda like a souls where u are supposed to die. A lot. And xcom in the way that u seemingly can't get attached to any one of your characters. Banner Saga - appears to be a universally loved grid based strategy with some kind of resource management built into it. Not sure how this will all play out with the old school cartoon aesthetic. What Remains of Edith Finch - walking with a super depressing story about a family that all died. Every single one. If the story is good, this cpuld be awesome.

Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
Here's my starting stats. @Hemiak there's only a 1% chance these will still change because I'm home late today. KYC5 Starting Stats: Completion percentage: 51,44% Trophies won: 6.614 Unearned trophies: 4.989 Games played: 330 Have you all noticed that I made my trophy list public again, only for this event? Have to say, I'm very excited for the event. I dropped out of the last event and was even away from the site for a while, partly for reasons unrelated to the site (some of you know this but I wasn't happy at all with the job I had at the time, luckily I have a better one now). I'm back now in the threads I care for (mostly the Nintendo thread, the KYC event and the Monthly Madness event) and I'm happier with gaming, so I'm motivated to crunch out a few of those pesky backlog games and motivate myself to continue on the bigger games afterwards. ... okay, game list preview time. Star Wars Battlefront II: I really only decided to pre-order when I could get the game for €19 plus two used games. Kind of excited for it though, and it always helps the stats if one more person plays such a game only for the single player mode. This means I will probably never get a high percentage in the game as most of the trophies will probably correspond to multiplayer. Leo's Fortune: Played it for a few minutes, didn't manage to get the cog in level 2 no matter how I jumped, played something else and forgot all about this game. Should be a fun quick platformer. Darksiders: Somehow this game was never on my radar, until the sequel released. They're supposed to be Zelda-like and I always enjoy a good Good versus Evil fight so I'm not sure why I still haven't played these. Decided to get the duology when it was on sale on PS4 for €15 or so. Yes, I know it's on sale now for €10. Sigh. Darksiders II: Bought this together with the first one (see above). While I played the first twenty minutes or so of Darksiders before, I never played anything of the sequel. I want to get through these games before the third game arrives. Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell: I enjoyed SR3 and SR4 as stupid silly fun, and I'm glad that I got this through PS+ so I didn't have to pay for it. Haven't touched it yet. Rebel Galaxy*: Seems like a less realistic version of Elite Dangerous, which I loved. Looks to be a bit less on the exploring side and a bit more on the action side. Hyper Void*: It looks like Star Fox if you wouldn't be able to move your ship vertically by yourself. Seems like fun. The Swindle: The biggest complaint I've heard about this is how random one of the trophies is. Luckily, I don't care. This is the first game I'll kick out if something fun turns up on the November PS+ list, or if I decide to buy Headlander after all in the current sale. Galak-Z*: 'shooting from your spaceship' title number three on my list. The first one is free roam, the second one is ever going forward, and this one is top-down. Sky Force Anniversary*: Vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up. Only thing I know about this game is, once again, from the minute or so of gameplay I've seen. Looks fun. Downwell: At first I dismissed this game when it turned up on PS+, simply because it looks so damn ugly. At a later point however, I noticed a review that talked about how well Downwell plays regardless of how ugly it seems to be before you start, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. Stealth Inc 2: A Game Of Clones: I loved the first game but stopped playing this sequel after fifteen minutes or so of playing. Getting a bit more into MetroidVania games at this point (thanks for dragging me in to this, @MosesRockefeller) so I'm giving it another chance. Lumo*: Hearing rumours that it's difficult but fair and it looks fun enough to try. Alienation*: Going to play this together with @MarkusT1992, @vin_rob and @Fredoline05 (haven't seen you in the thread yet @Fredoline05, you still joining?) - don't know much about the game except that it's a four player twin stick shooter. Xeodrifter: Dismissed this because of its retreaux graphics, but seeing as Shovel Knight opened me up a bit I'm giving it a shot. Another MetroidVania game for my list (@MosesRockefeller). Biggest complaint this game seems to get is that it's too short, but I don't feel like that's going to be a problem for me, especially since I got it through PS+. *of all these games, all that I know is that they were on PS+ and what I got from watching a minute or so of gameplay. For most PS+ games on my backlog, watching that minute of gameplay was enough to put them on the list. P.S. I don't think a specific schedule will be working out for me - as said, I'm not able to game at all of the days so I'm picking my moments. Might have to do a couple of games on one day only but I will stick to at least two to three hours per game, unless I think the game is horrible and I don't want to continue on it. Jaguargenie
Hello all, Here are my starting stats for KYC 5. Managed to increase my completion percentage by .41% since the start of the last event. This event has some of the worst plats and trophy completion percentages I've ever done for a KYC. 4 ultra rare and 2 rates. Don't know if I will ever recover from this event. KYC pre-completion % : 75.69 Trophies per day: 2.01 Unearned (minus dlc): 920 New trophies for this event: 309 Games played: 213 Games completed: 73 Platinum count: 66 Most of those numbers have improved since the last event with the exception of unearned. That won't get any better with all the UR on my list. Have fun everyone, only hours to go!!

Gave me enough room to download everything. Lol. I deleted Uncharted 4, even though I haven't even started it yet.. :'( Will probably still not be enough room for both Battefield and Knack, though. And might as well post some previews, too. Zone of the Enders- Umm.. robots? I read something about it being similar to Neon Genesis Evangelion, so I bought the collection. It was an instabuy, at that point. I thought the game was something else, to be honest. And probably not my cup of tea. But after hearing that and looking into it more, I thought it'd be something I'd enjoy. Starwhal- This one will be weird. ^^' Fighting with fish or something? Also hear it has awkward controls, and can be a real pain in the ass to Plat. Indigo Prophecy- I loved Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. This was the game Quantic Dreams made before those, and I never played it. Not sure how well it's aged, but I'm looking forward to it. Thief- Always been a bit interested, because it's a stealth game. Negative opinions have kind of made me stay away from buying it on PS4. But I figure since I have the PS3 version through Plus, I might as well give it a shot for free. Hopefully, it's decent. Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator- Fighting game series I've never played. Probably something like BlazBlue since it's the same devs? I usually enjoy fighting games, so should have a good time. It always comes down to whether or not I have enough skill to complete them, though. Lol. Battlefield Hardline- I played the Bad Company games, so this isn't my first Battlefield game. This is the first one that has interested me since those. The settings of the others didn't really. Army shooters are all over the place, so.. And yes, the Bad Company games were army shooters. But those guys were funny, and that's why I liked those games. 3 & 4 seemed more like your typical "bro" shooters. Hoping I like it. The demo made it seem promising. Yakuza 4- Never played one of these, but have had 4 & 5 in my Plus backlog for awhile now. Figured it's time I see what all the hype is about. Or wonder why anyone would enjoy them? We'll see. Think it's an open world beat 'em up, which I've played something like that on the PSP and had a good time. Gal*Gun: Double Peace - Umm.. you shoot school girls with hearts, I guess? This will undoubtedly be very weird and uncomfortable to play for anyone who shames easily. Lol. Other than that premise and it being an on rails shooter, I don't know much else. Knack- It's Knack. Lol. I feel like it's been unfairly trashed in reviews, as a lot of people seem to think it's a good game. Guess I'll find out soon enough. Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force- JRPG that's similar to the Neptunia games in gameplay. I like those, so I should like this. As long as the story and characters don't suck, that is.
Popular Post Metal Slime King
6 hours ago, Cubone said: Thanks for the info. What I think is also important to know: did you have fun while playing it? It's fun enough to fire up for short dives which might make it better suited to the vita but I'm playing on PS4. It can be frustrating if you go in hoping for any progress because you could play for hours and be no further ahead as you always start at the beginning and there's no level select but I just fire it up to kill some time and if I get a lucky run and get further than before then all the better. Initial Impressions going into the event: Final Fantasy XIV. It's a Final Fantasy MMO. Seems to be similar to other MMO's (including Neverwinter, the only one I have experience with) with parties consisting of Tank/DPS/Medic type characters. What I know about this game already from installing it is that it uses it's own custom downloader that needs to be active to run as opposed to every other PS4 game that can download in the background while the system is in sleep mode. That was a big mark against it, it took forever to download although they were apparently dealing with DDoS issues while I was doing it. I was imagining a guy in an office in Japan manually confirming whether or not I could download each individual Mb. Hotshots World Invitational. I played a Hotshots golf game on PS1. I'm assuming it will be similar. I know there's 1 online trophy to grab and the servers are going offline soonish. I've heard that it's a difficult plat because of the various challenges. Transistor. I know it's by the same guys that did Bastion which I started recently. Bastion seemed like a decent game but I never really got into it because I was really focused on finishing up Shovel Knight. Ys Origin. Love me some Ys. A long running series of mostly top down isometric action rpgs. This one is a prequel set 800 years before the others so the main protagonist of the series is absent. More difficult trophy requirements than the other Ys game that showed up with trophies (Celceta). Guacamelee. By the same company as Severed, which I enjoyed. Similar aesthetic but a metroidvania. Sounds good. Strike Vector EX. All I know is it was free with PS+. Maybe like Starfox? Strider. Old Capcom IP from the NES/Genesis era back from the dead. 2D hack-n-slash. Ninjas vs. Space Commies? Injustice: Fighting game with all the DC characters who are all inexplicably even matched. Like Harlequinn can take on Superman? Why not. Batman: Arkham Knight. The last Rocksteady Arkham game now with the batmobile and more DLC than ever before. Some people didn't like the batmobile sections or there's too much batmobile? I don't know, guess I'll see. I really liked the other Rocksteady Arkham games. I got 100% on both. Origins left me a little cold, I'm sure I'll get back to it. Castlevania: Mirror of Fate. A 2D castlevania game more like the originals (?) that story-wise tie into the newer Lords of Shadow games. High expectations for some retro castlevania fun.
