Popular Post HaserPL
#148 Prince of PersiaObtain all other trophies Another game off the list. What can I say, fuck you Farah. Worst game I played since I began trophy hunting, and yes, that includes Wanted: Weapons of Fate. If you've read my rant on this game then you probably know what I'm talking about. Anyways, glad I can focus on CoJ: Gunslinger and Ratchet & Clank 2 now, really good games and fun to play as well. Cheers!

I have only a few trophies left to get in Disgaea 5, I thought it would be my 100th platinum, but nope, the final superboss I have to beat to get the gold trophy is saying "hope, ain't gonna happen", and laughs at me as my strongest character can't even make a dent in his zillion hit points. I am going to put Disgaea 5 in timeout for the time being and focus on the other games I need to do. Ratchet and Clank looks promising. I am almost finished with the regular run, am at the final dungeon now... Or maybe I shouldn't finally get to work on Castlevania which I promised I would do for Halloween and failed hard at it. Some good old retro gaming never hurt a body.

It was the purrfect game to sit and relax with too, just as charming and lovely as the first one. I enjoyed having the option to switch between the cat and dog character (but lets face it, I mainly used the cat) Nothing was too troublesome in the game, everything is easy to find without using a guide. I may be swapping my list around a bit in the next week or so, just depending if I get any games for my birthday soon, not really feeling some of the incomplete games if I'm honest - mainly looking at Final Fantasy X and Trine: Enchanted Edition

I haven't been playing a lot, and when I have I've been playing Shadow of Mordor exclusively. I made it to the second area and I'm now able to do the trophies that involve branding captains. The return mechanic is being a bit interesting. The game seems to think that the sub-par scrubs who I instantly killed by tossing off the pier are worthy of coming back with injuries (facial scars, for some reason) so I can toss them off another high ledge and instantly kill them. I shouldn't have any trouble mopping up the collectibles this week, whenever I set aside time to play. In the future I might forego weekly updates in favour of 'milestone updates' so to speak, or whenever I have anything interesting to talk about. I definitely feel I've bitten off more than I can chew with this challenge, but I don't want to bitch out now. If I can complete at least half of my list then I'll consider that a slight victory. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
UPDATE TIME MEEYOWEYOWYOWYOWEEYOW! AIR GUITAR SOLO! Borderlands The Pre Sequel 14% -> 28% Strong week for the weekend project I'm doing with Fnee, lots of SQ and MQ progress. It's still the worst Borderlands imo. I'm not looking forward for the challnges and characters. Not at all. Trophies Who Constructs the Constructor? / Modern Fart / Pancake Parlor / Side Quest Student / Helios Rising / Brain Drain / Rocketeer / The Guts of Helios / A House Divided / Moon Master Witcher 3 GOTY 37% -> 50% All missable side quests trophies done now, all contracts done. Only the Skellige part of the final act left for the story. And the grinding stuff + DLCs ofc. I was a bit suprised that I managed to do the multi boss fight so well, first try actually, I remember taking a break at that point during my plat of the normal version of Witcher 3. Everything afterwards should be a cake walk now, my build is more or less done, missing the final update for my armor (need 2 more levels for that) Did the final contract fight in 15 seconds. Trophies Fearless Vampire Slayer / Woodland Spirit / Ashes to Ashes / Rad Steez, Bro! / Full Crew / Something More / Mutant / Armed and Dangerous / Geralt: The Professional / Assassin of Kings / Xenonaut So currently I earned 331 / 771 trophies

Cosmic Star Heroine (NA Vita) (0 out of 34 trophies) 368 out of 565 trophies earned so far, 8 out of 15 games completed. Didn't get as much progress this weekend as I'd hoped thanks to Windows releasing a new update that proceeded to break my computer. Fixed the issues, but I had to do a reset of windows to accomplish that and had to spend a lot of time getting stuff set up again and fix other issues that cropped up thanks to the initial issues. Thanks Microsoft, how about you actually test your updates before releasing them next time if you aren't going to allow users to disable auto updating. I so hate Windows 10 with a passion and am very much considering buying a retail disc of 7 and installing that instead. Then to add to that, I was nearly done with SwapQuest and just grinding for jewels to add more enchantments to my weapon and armor (because that blocks nasty status effects) so I could beat the remaining boss and then I somehow accidentally sold a unique weapon that I can't get back and it's the best weapon in the game. So now I have to start all over on it since there's no way I'm beating that boss with a crappy weapon that has half the attack power. This is why confirmations that you want to sell a weapon or blocking the ability to sell stuff you can't get back is a good feature in games. This game is also not that great and so not worth buying. Also will be adding Cosmic Star Heroine since that's going to be my next game once I get the SwapQuest plat.
Popular Post viech54
Update time: It's actually a rather significant one this time as it marks the completion of my most time consuming game in the Fall/Winter 2019/2020 Backlog Challenge. After an about 460 hours long grind, the plat of Monster Hunter World Iceborne is finally mine. I got the last three crowns earlier today, getting both the trophies for all large and all small crowns. I imported my MHW character into Iceborne at 1152 hours, 15 minutes, 33 seconds and got the plat in Iceborne at 1615 hours, 37 minutes 6 seconds. I don't really have anything else to say about the game right now, I'm just glad the grind is over & I don't have to snipe for crowns any longer. If anyone wants to know more about the game, let me know and I'll see what I can do (next weekend or so, don't want to see the game for a while). With the most time consuming game out of the way, progress should be much faster now, and updates might happen more frequently. I started Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night last week. Defeated the first two bosses and will focus on that game starting next Tuesday. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: Loving night shifts, they give me more days off in the week and it's been ideal for gaming. Played some more Atelier Ryza, I feel the end of the game approaching but I don't want to rush it, probably why I started Death Stranding this week. I am about to start my next block of nights but when they finish I'll either finish Ryza or play more Stranding. I am on the fence about getting the new starwars game this week - I haven't liked star wars as a franchise recently, the new film arc is boring and the games an licence milking cash grab, however if Respawn Entertainment (guys who made Titan fall) are behind it I guess I have no choice really... *unzips wallet* Spoiler 2064 Read only memories 0% A Plague Tale: Innocence 100% Age of Wonders: Planetfall 22% AI: The Somnium Files 100% Amnesia 7% Another world 100% Atelier Ryza 24% > 40% Assasin's Creed Freedom Cry 100% Cat quest 100 Catherine Full Body 10% Control 100% Dark souls 2: scholar of the first sin 31% NEW Death Stranding 0% >46 Greedfall 47% Legend of Heroes: trails of cold steel 15% Liar princess and the blind prince 100% Phoenix Wright: Ace attourney Trilogy 23% Moss 92% Resonance of fate 21% River City Girls 17% Robinson: The Journey 100% Shantae and the pirates curse 30% Space hulk deathwing 44% Star Ocean IAF 16% Superhot 38% The man of midan 46% The Silver Case 100% Thronebreaker 4% Utawarerumono: Mask of truth 35% Criminal girls 4% Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc 100% Muv Luv 26% Persona 4 golden 27% Project diva f 2nd 15% Reverie 100% Seran Kagura Bon Appetit! 39% Skyfish 100% Tokyo xanadu 20% Edited November 11, 2019 by StilRh

Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 8: God of War Ascension and Yet More Superbeat Xonic God of War Ascension: Date Started: 5/5/2019 Trophies when Event Started: 5/36 Event Starting Percentage 8% Date Completed 11/10/2019 Finished this up over the weekend, and honestly enjoyed it much more than I thought it would. While the bosses were decidedly mediocre for a series that built its name on great boss fights, the game itself has good development for Kratos, the combat as always is a lot of fun, and Hard mode was actually enjoyable. Definitely not the stand out from what I remember from the bygone PS2 era, but overall I would say worth playing if you like God of War gameplay style. Superbeat Xonic Date Started: 7/12/2019 Trophies when Event Started: 16/33 Event Starting Percentage 29% Trophies after Update 7: 24/33 Updated Percentage 47% Trophies after Update 7.5 26/33 Updated Percentage 52% Trophies after Update 8 26/33 Updated Percentage 52% Though no percentage increase over this half of the week, we are still slowly grinding toward all of the remaining golds. We've unlocked quite a few of the free play songs for the "play all the songs" trophy completing the 4 trak difficulty, and have about half of the 6 trak and even a few of the 6 trak FX. The level thing should sort itself out as we are 83 and still have to play about 600 more songs for the play 1000 trophy. And after that we still have the really difficult missions left in career mode. <Insert something about a lot of miles and a single step> We'll get there. Anyway, here's a updated summary for whats left to do. Popular Post freddie1989
Another one off the list for me, Detroit: Become Human is now complete despite me trying really hard to f&^% it up several times! Overall a really good game that you could play several times due to the nature of it and still get a different story. Aside form that I have messed about on Mortal Kombat X trying to actually work out how to string together more than 2 hits ? bit off more than I can chew with that one. Hopefully Invasion and secret fight towers will be up soon so I can get them out the way and play at my own leisure. Made a small start on Zombi yesterday which looks awful! Hopefully it becomes more enjoyable as I play as it requires 3 playthroughs! Might make a start on Metro or Watch Dogs 2 tonight as I need to get my teeth into something to make progress. Some I've heard praise his work, others say he has the writing ability of a half-eaten chocolate bunny rabbit. Still, with two of his games being free on PS Plus I imagine I'll be able to set aside some time one day and see what I think. And yeah, I understand what it's like to suck at MKX. I just sunk some time into Jason and the Xenomorph as they had simple combos and never touched anyone else. "Skilled Gamer" over here.

Once I have the 10 wins out the way I don't really care if I lose the other 190 LOL! The problem with MKX is that it has been out for a long time, 10 in a row is gonna be a pain and I'm not sure if you can use the quit to XMB method to keep your streak going. Not an ideal way of playing but if it works, it works. I also still need the 10 wins in a row, but was also a little late to the party. My best bet is to wait a little until the servers are less occupied and login at the same time with a boosting partner at a ridiculous late time like 4AM. I know that works cause I did it that way on MK9. We met 20 times in a row on ranked matches and both got the trophy on that game If you can't wait, I believe Lui Kang is always overpowered (cant remember if he was in MKX) or Raiden/Scorpion If you wanna knock out some online matches every now and then, feel free to add me. We can have a chat while you keep mashing the down + triangle for uppercuts lol

Definitely not having as much gaming time lately as I personally would like to have, let alone need in order to complete my list for this challenge. Pretty sure I won't be able to finish everything up at this rate, especially with exams closing in fast, but I'll try to complete as much as I can of course. Rise of the Tomb Raider Spent most of my time on this title the past couple of weeks. Not only because completing it does actually require quite a bit of work, but also because I just really like playing this game. With a large emphasis on exploration and puzzle platforming and a smaller but still quite enjoyable combat component built around it, it's just something that fits right up my alley. Especially the challenge tombs were some of my favourite elements of the game and if I would have any complaint then it's that there just weren't more of them. That being said, however, as much as I enjoyed the first half of the story, I was kinda getting more and more dissapointed towards the end since I was noticing how similar those end game sections actually were compared to the 2013 title. Not that they were bad by any means but it was a bit bothersome to me since this copied design does come across as a bit lazy and unimaginative. Still an excellent experience overall though, already looking forward to playing Shadow of the tomb raider somewhere in the future, perhaps an idea for the spring backlog challenge On a more practical note, I did eventually manage to pick up the platinum for this game and I did complete 3 out of 5 DLC packs so far. Main game trophies weren't too bad since most of them were related to reaching 100% completion. Only the score attack trophies were a bit annoying since you kinda had to speedrun every level of the game but luckily most of them weren't hard to get a gold score on at all. It's just a bit of an unnecessary addition imo since it felt really counterintuitive as to how you're normally supposed to play this game. Some people might probably enjoy this opposite approach though so maybe that's just me. DLC's are luckily overall pretty good. Croft Manor and Baba Yaga were really great, I definitely enjoyed those a lot. Cold Darkness was a decent attempt at creating a zombie mode but like the score attacks, it's again just not something that really fits into this type of game in my personal opinion but it wasn't that big of a deal trophywise so shouldn't really complain too much. Very last thing to do now are the solo and coop-endurance mode trophies. Already got half of the solo trophies and I gotta say that the mode itself is pretty okay, I like the idea of it and it definitely suits the genre but it just kinda tends to get boring and repetitive quite fast. Surviving for 10 days, which is required for a couple of trophies, is therefore not something I look forward to. It's not really that difficult or anything but it just takes a bit too long for my liking. The coop-trophies are kinda similar in terms of difficulty and length but luckily @neospoon is willing to help me out with those, wherefore already many thanks in advance! Other games Made some small progress on R&C: A Crack in Time again but still quite a lot of work to do, will start refocusing more on this one when RotTR is done. Also played the opening section of Infamous First Light and I quite enjoyed it so far. it does seem to be a fairly quick and easy platinum so that's always a relief to notice ^^ Let's just hope I will be able to pick up the pace a bit with my list from now on. Good luck everyone else with your games! I've been enjoying reading all of your updates so far. Once I have the 10 wins out the way I don't really care if I lose the other 190 LOL! I remember watching people on YouTube kicking arse at the game and thought "That'll never be me". Though that was before I got into trophy hunting and before I even had internet on the house, so it hardly mattered anyway. I bought the game just to try it out, and I learned that fighting games aren't my cup of tea (too many combos to learn across too many characters) so I moved on. All the best though!
