Popular Post Joe Dubz
Alright, got game 4 completed from Tier 2, Rack N Ruin! It was a very cute and charming lil game, which reminded me quite a bit of the older top-down Zelda entries, most notably A Link to the Past. The game was not difficult at all, maybe a 4/10 at worst but that is honestly pushing it IMO! I had 1 trophy glitch on me, "Dependency", which is for using 10 Wisp Dusts... Apparently the most recent update a few years ago screwed that one up, so your only option is to redownload without any patches. The hardest trophy in a nutshell was the speedrun; you need to finish the game within 1 hour 45 mins, but I finished ~1:25, so it's totally doable! I would also be remiss not to thank fellow challenge participant @zajac9999, who co-wrote the guide for this game. And a fantastic job at that!! I was able to finish the game in ~15 hours... Without your guide, I could have easily spent twice that long trying to find everything on my own. In a game like this with tons of missables, that guide was a godsend ? Thanks again ? Okay, here we are to my current progress: Tier 2: Rack N Ruin (2.12%) 100% Flinthook (2.44%) 100% NOT A HERO (2.24%) 100% Rive (2.80%) 78% Surgeon Simulator (0.58%) 100% That just leaves me down to Rive for this tier. I just need to do a 1cc run, not kill the lil robot guy at all, then hunt a crapload of cockroaches and we will be dunzo with this tier ? I have been thinking about starting The Escapists as well, to get a jump on the next tier. Although I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself, as I often tend to do! So I'm going to try and knock Rive out first.

Walt the Dog
Not an official declaration, but I more or less have a framework for my Tier 3 list. - [Whatever 699th quick plat I use before Mugen Souls] - Mugen Souls - Secret Ponchos (NA) - RPG - RPG Not sure on the exact RPGs I'll use. My current idea is to put in the European and Korean stacks of Omega Quintet since I wanna do the three remaining versions I have of it alternating so I get through them all roughly at the same time. Would add the JP version as well except it's not UR like the others. ? Failing a desire to do that, I'll likely focus on the PS3 Compile Heart RPGs I have that are UR, so that'll be between Cross Edge, Agarest, and Agarest 0 (Trinity Universe is UR, but also not technically a Compile Heart game despite the glaring similarities with regards to dungeon crawling to the original Hyperdimension Neptunia on PS3). Since one of my goals is to do every Compile Heart platinum at some point and those are pretty much the worst, it'd be nice to tackle them sooner rather than later even if it ends up causing my Tier 3 to consume the rest of the year. EDIT: Oh yeah, always the chance that the Eva pachinko machine I have running in the background actually pops the last trophy I need for plat, in which case that would be my 699th and since I'm never declaring that on account of the insane 1 in 20 million odds RNG, that would just free up a slot for another game, which I would probably just fill with another RPG or some random EZPZ UR like Knowledge is Power. Popular Post FreshFromThaDeli
Tier 2 Update 1 1. Battlefield 3 (2.92% / 0.91%) 92% 2. OutRun Online Arcade ( 2.56%) 100% ✅ 3. Overwatch (1.87% / 0.17% ) 96% 4. RAGE (4.10% / 0.71%) 39% 5. The King of Fighters XII - Unobtainable (1.86%) 70% I had a lot of fun revisiting this old school Sega classic. I remember playing this version of OutRun 2006 back when it came out on PS2 and enjoying the Ridge Racer-esque gameplay along with the cheesy over the top jazz music. Once I got done boosting the quick and painless online trophies it was onto tackling the various Single Player modes. Knowing when to drift and when not to drift is the difference between achieving the Time Attack requirements or just barely missing the target time by a few seconds. I had the most trouble with the Passing Breeze trophy which tasks you to complete the Time Attack mode in under 4 minutes 30 seconds. Knowing the route I wanted to take and executing the drifts at the right time was the key here. Another trophy in the game (Gumball King) which tasks you complete all 15 courses in Time Attack mode in under 14 minutes and 30 seconds was much easier than the Passing Breeze trophy because it allows room for error and I got away with small crashes into the barriers and one major crash on the Milky Way course. I really found Milky Way the gate keeper for getting this trophy but as mentioned before one major crash in the whole run can still mean you make it in time for the Gumball King trophy. The shockingly named Heart Attack Mode was no trouble at all once I learned that I could slow down on purpose for the special challenges like 'catch the ghosts' or 'get the coins'. I enjoyed my time with OutRun Online Arcade and hope that one day Sega does a remaster for modern consoles.

Popular Post CriesOfFurya
This time I really procrastinated hard, which is why I'm now giving you guys the update about the last 7 completed games from Tier 4 and the +2 from Tier 5. Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood (3.39%) Pretty standard FPS from the time back then, however the Wild West setting really makes this one worthwhile and I don't regret coming back to such an old game. The thing that aged the worst about this one are probaby the duels, as the system for those is just stupdily vague and unprecise and sadly they decided to implenet this afte every single "boss" encounter in the game. Other than that the hardest difficulty in the game is relatively balanced and apart from the very last boss fight, you shouldn't have to reload checkpoints that often. Tom Clancy's - Ghost Recon Future Soldier (0.64%) Still one of my favourite third-person shooters to date and I had an absolute blast going for the 100%. The story mode has very tactical element to it and it's just one of the cleanest stealth experiences you can find in any PS3 game. Obviously you will have the occasional "Yeah, that is absolute bullshit how he saw me there!" - moment, but overall I have to say that it's really nicely balanced and that strategies will work over and over againif they are well executed. The tactical challanges and the ghost score you have to complete in every chapter also make Elite difficulty a lot more interesting, as without those the game would have been a bit too easy. Ultimately, I even enjoyed it so much that I ran through the singleplayer again with my friend @pot1414 to get his stuff done as well. At this point again, thank you very much for playing with me and working around my cramped schedule at the time :D. The multiplayer is one of the most convoluted boosts you can find on the PS3, in terms of complexity. It starts of by you having to delete everyone who previously played the game on your friends list and then going for the challenges. While doing that you have to keep track of the exact mode and map combinations you played, as you have to win on certain set of maps, in 3 seperate game modes (and that trophy is actually in the list 5 times). Of course it's also packed with loads of misc. trophies which will requiere you to do other random stuff. I mean the game definitely couldn't just consist of a moderat to mildy hard story mode to actually be sitting at 0,6% . Of course I started it in fear of the possible Ubisoft shutdowns, but I would have ended up doing it in the near future anyway. In the end I actually completed 4 Ubisoft titles during this time, just to be on the safe side (including hoarding the online trophies for Splinter Cell: Blacklist). So Ubisoft wise, I want to complete R.U.S.E., Driver San Francisco and probably another game that is just slipping my mind right now, this year. Tom Clancy's: H.A.W.X (1.39%) Gameplay wise this definitely is one of the best flight sims on the PS3 as it really controls very precise and fluent. The graphics of the planes also still hold up very well even to date. The single player/ co-op is pretty easy, unfortunately even to a point where it's actually boring. My partner @Potent_Delusions and I ended up reloaing 3 checkpoints througout the whole 19 mission long campaign and those were due to us not being attention in the moment, rather than actually failing an objective because we didn't play well enough. The multiplayer part is where the sould of this game is at and I completely understand why it was so popular about 12 to 5 years ago. The dog fights in the MP are thrilling and with well over 50 planes you have quite the selection of different play styles as well (eventhough 99% of the people will obviously use the F-22 raptor). Trophy wise however, it's an absolute nightmare.... Luck-based challenges and trophies as far as the eye can see, and they even require very specific timing once you finally end up being lucky. The main problem here is the counter measure challenges-trophy, as it requires you to counter specific score streaks the enemy received (which are pretty tricky to boost for), which your own score streaks. This results in you having to shoot down your main account with your bot countless times, just to finally get something like AWACS (reduces the lock on time of your own missiles and extends your lock on range), just so you can start shooting down your bot until you finally get something like the missile suppression (the enemy won't be able to use missiles at all, thus rendering their previously earned buff completely useless). I mean personally I can really appreciate the actual intelect and ingenuity they put into the score streak system and the trophies, but the randomness of it makes for dauntingly boring and unfair boost. We had more than a handful games where the bot actually ended up getting the desired score streak of the main account, or the main account not getting the final score streak until the 15 mins were already over. The actual XP boost at the end surely has to be one fo the nastiest boost you could possibly do while controlling 2 dual shocks 3 at the same time... Normally this boost is aimed at a group of 3-5 individual people, but we actually went through with it just as 2, controlling 2 pads each and god did we regret that ih the end... It ended up being a highly concentrated 15 min boost every time, where the smallest mistake can mess up your flight formation and cause a problem to the score combo that you are trying to keep up. Unfortunately, it's one of those games where the start takes really long, just to set you up for the final few minutes of the match, where you will earn all of those juicy XPs you have been buidling up untill then. This game was actually not at risk as everything can be done in LAN, however you can absolutely forget about doing thise one by yourself without having to invite mates over to boost with you. This makes for the 3rd out of 4 Ubisoft games. Tom Clancy's: H.A.W.X 2 (1.67%) An actual downgrade from the first HAWX game, as this ones has worse graphics, worse gameplay, less planes and the platinum is also easier and shorter. The survival mode only takes about 30 minutes, the singleplayer is tedious and this time around they tried to go all out on cutscenes and an actual story, however it just ends up being quite tacky. The boost was also a lot shorter and easier and most of the griding is actually done in the singleplayer. Not too much of a fan of this one, but it had to be done. It really is a shame that EndWar doesn't work anymore, otherwise I would have ended up doing every single Tom Clancy's game on the PS3 and 4, but I think I might just completely ignore the PS4 installments now, as they are generally not onsidered to be good or rare at least. This was the last Ubisoft game from this update. Switchblade (2.90%) I have to admit, this one was just a shameless UR grab, as I had absolutely no intention of ever playing this game for what it actually is. I just boosted the whole thing from start to finish and now a have another UR platinum in my collection. I do have to commend the game on how easy and relaxing it actually was to boost and I can even imagine that this game could've been fun for about 30 minutes with randoms, but that's about it. Oh, there is a picture for this one too, but they actually used white letters with a transparent background, so you will just have to imagine how they slapped the name Switch > Blade (fuck knows what the ">" is doing in the title as well....) on the trophy list tile without any picture and not even in a special font. As pleak as the game itself, with the one map you can play Dead Sace 3 (4.30%) With this one, I was finally able to finish every installment of the Dead Space franchise (including 2x Dead Space 2) and I'm really glad that a potential shutdown of DS3 can no longer affect me with one of my all-time favourite franchises. If the rumours of a remaster (most likely)/ continuation of the series are true, I'm all set now and ready from day one for those games! About Dead Space 3 itself: Pretty meh game overall. They made all of the enemies look dusty in this game, too much of the game is spent in pretty boring environments, they actually added soldiers as enemy NPCs and they added microtransactions to the series (although they are harmless compared to anything we have to deal with nowadays). DS 3 ends up being the worst in the trilogy by quite a big margine for me, due to it just being boring to play. The story is way to long and for the platinum you actually have to complete it 4 times and the best thing is that the collectible trophies of this game will become unobtainable if this ever shuts down, as they decided to tie collectibles to the co-op missions of the game. The devs also completely scrapped the conecpt of buying and upgrading weapons, as you now have to craft your own guns. As inovative as this may seem, you actually end up with too many options for your own good and you have to find different forms of scrap materials by scavenging or by just buying them with real money (thus saving time by just buying it). This was way better in Dead Space 2, as you still had quite a big arsenal of weapons to choose from, but you were able to focus more on the unique locations, dialogues and just overall campaign enjoyment. In DS3, you are just focusing on what type of scrap you are getting, what weapon you want to craft and which upgrade chips you find and the story just kind of plays out alongside it. I did my co-op playthrough with @Potent_Delusions and he can probably attest to my review of this game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PS4 (3.17%) Here we have the 2nd Tier 5 game of mine, which I actually just finished to make it my 3,000th trophy. I finished Dead Ops Arcade, all the zombie related stuff and the harder online trophies relatively soon after it released, but I was just waiting to finish the singleplayer one day when I was motivated enough for it (or to abuse it for a milestone I guess ). The zombies mode in this one is an absolute shell of its former self, as they probably want the biggest zombie amateurs to finally have their moments of joy when finishing an Easter Egg without being carried through them. All the new changes to the mode also seem to be aimed at 10-12 year olds, trying to impress them, as now Nacht der Untoten has to be completely covered in Grafiti, you have to be able to tag the area with stickers and of course you have to be able to use your personal emotes now as well. Dead Ops made the platinum quite difficult for a long time, before glitches and even patches from the devs made it a lot easier, however this game will probably remain UR forever, thankfully. The MP is just as shit and unpopular as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), since they decided to implement skill-based matchmaking again and oh boy isn't there anything better than to play a 8v8 against people who had a K/D of 2-3+ in previous CoDs, with the complete abscense of any cannon fodder running around. Everyone try-harding, head-glitching makes this MP feel more like Ranbow 6 or league play from a previous CoD, rather than a relaxed casual CoD multiplayer. The campaign however, is the saving grace for this game, BIG TIME. Absolutely thrilling story from start to finish, with a beatiful and so far very unused setting, the cold war. They implemented this it a lot better than in Black Ops 1 as well and I was truly able to enjoy every second of it. The trophies are a lot easier than previous CoD campaigns, but to be honest I didn't care at all about that in the end. Now then, that concludes this mammoth of an update and I hope that you guys liked reading through it. As for future plans for me, I'm obviously still trying to focus on shutdowns and sepcifically on older PS3 games, as they are evidently trying to shut that system down as soon as they can. As such, my next games will include the following: Max Payne 3 GTA IV Red Dead Redemption NfS Shift 1&2 and of course actually cleaning up my unfinished games in general. I have been having quite a lot of un with Hustle Kings lately, so that one will probably be completed in the next few months a well, after all of these PS3 shutdowns are taken care of. Popular Post FreshFromThaDeli
Tier 2 Update 2 1. Battlefield 3 (2.92% / 0.91%) 100% 2. OutRun Online Arcade ( 2.56%) 100% 3. Overwatch (1.87% / 0.17% ) 96% 4. RAGE (4.10% / 0.71%) 39% 5. The King of Fighters XII - Unobtainable (1.86%) 70% Battlefield 3 has been a completion 8 years in the making for me. Really happy with crossing off another Battlefield game on my list. Campaign tries too hard to be a cinematic set piece like CoD campaigns but ultimately falls flat. It strangely reminds me the way Black on PS2/Xbox Original played out with it's interrogations before every mission to fill the player in on the events of what is going on but it's all just poor writing and nothing interesting. The multiplayer on the other hand, is amazing. I had a ton of fun with the guns and moment to moment Battlefield gameplay. Battlefield 3 is often considered the best Battlefield game to date which although I think it's a high point for the series my personal favourite is still Bad Company 2. If Battlefield 3 did not have options for private rented servers then acquiring all the ribbons is a grind as is the rank 45 trophy for reaching Colonel. In fact every single multiplayer trophy can easily be boosted with a private rented server including DLC trophies so it's not as difficult as other online multiplayer games where you have no option to boost in peace without randoms. That's all it really came down to in the end: boosting. Edited June 23, 2021 by FreshFromThaDeli
Popular Post ChxpointCharlie
I completed TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan and that is my second Tier 2 game done. I feel like this game often gets overlooked and is a little underappreciated. Ok, it's not Platinum Games' strongest effort and a lot of the criticisms it received from reviewers and the harsh reception by fans are wholly justified and fair. But at its core all the ingredients for a great game are here! It is somewhat of a disappointment considering Platinums' pedigree but judged in its own right I feel like it stands up well for what it is. The story is super short and the gameplay is extremely repetitive and it does often feel unbalanced at times. Not to say it's a particularly difficult game - especially by the developer's standards - but it's not nothing either. The main hurdle for completion is slogging through the seemingly endless repetition and RNG. But the whole thing is co-op so with a good partner or group of friends this is a lot more enjoyable! I really love the art style and it's obvious they went to great lengths to faithfully match that classic humour of the series which makes the story and cutscenes a thrill for Turtles fans (which is just as well because you'll be watching them over and over!). I enjoyed the traversal a lot too which is reminiscent of inFamous and the combat is as tight as you'd expect from Platinum plus controlling your favourite Turtle feels great! Overall though I struggle to recommend this to even hardcore fans of the green team, purely because of the sheer repetitive grinding nature and reliance on luck, but personally, I had an absolute blast! Tier 2: Trackmania Turbo (0.61%) - 100% Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan (2.40%) - 100% Mirror's Edge (2.89%) - 0% Wolfenstein II The New Colossus (0.82%) - 0% MGS4: Guns of the Patriots (4.26%) - 0%

Of course congratulations on finishing it. The survival mode can be really annoying at times, especially the skateboarding stages. ChxpointCharlie
This is true. It was unfortunately delisted within 8 months of release... ? and I believe that plays a factor in what makes the platinum so rare. Luckily I was still able to find a couple of copies on disc (the extra one to play on my alt to do the 4-player required trophies) and thankfully my partner who introduced me to the game and helped me through it still had their download available! Thank you though! There are a few tricky sections, particularly the 4-player trophies as said which require some co-ordination, but there's no skateboarding in this one. Are you maybe thinking of the TMNT Arcade game by Konami from the NES? I know the modern version of that was also sadly delisted on PSN ? And I agree! I wish more people could play it because it is great! Edited June 24, 2021 by ChxpointCharlie

Popular Post Joe Dubz
I am happy to report that Tier 2 is complete!! I just finished Rive, and right out of the gate I will say I underestimated this one's difficulty. I can confidently give this an 8/10 challenge-wise, which is probably why it sat in my backlog for a good year or two! The game is a shmup, and IMO one of the finest I've ever played! Beautiful graphics, a fantastic sense of humor, challenging but satisfying gameplay, a great trophy list with quite a few fun misc ones... The list goes on and on!! Very much recommend this one, if you are into that genre at all. With that being said, it is TOUGH! Hardest trophy by far was the Ironman run... Yeah sure, you can use save states to save your spot anywhere in the game! But the load times weren't exactly quick, so you better have your phone or laptop or something on hand to occupy you in the interim! Even with save states, this game on hard mode (which is the default for 1cc runs) is no joke. There were more sphincter-clenching moments than I could count! ?? But yes, again it's a fun game, great trophy list, and chock full of tasty UR trophies ? And just for good posture, here we are with the current progress: Tier 2: Rack N Ruin (2.12%) 100% Flinthook (2.44%) 100% NOT A HERO (2.24%) 100% Rive (2.80%) 100% Surgeon Simulator (0.58%) 100% I have put a little bit of thought into Tier 3; I pretty hastily threw together the last tier and ended up using 2 swaps because of it! I have a few games decided but would like to think about the rest: Tier 3: The Escapists (3.59%/1.36%) 15% Mercenary Kings (1.39%) 0% Neon Abyss (3.31%) 46% ******** ******** Already started The Escapists, got it and all dlc for a steal of under $10. Neon Abyss I started back when it first came out; there were some glitchy trophies so I backed off for a bit. Now seems as good a time as any to jump back in! As for the last 2, I will report back after the weekend when I have decided. May finish Hyper Light Drifter and/or Wuppo, but we shall see ? Feels great to have made it this far into the challenge; I certainly had my doubts if I could even finish one tier but here we are! It has been a pleasure rockin' out with all you cool peeps in here; BRAVO, keep those URs poppin and lets run the hosts for broke... For a great cause of course!! ? Evil_Joker88
I'm swapping games again but for the last time in the current tier i swear I just finished my first playthrough of Anodyne and i think it's an medium game. Nothing too bad but neither awesome. A few jokes, the navigation through the world became easier as it went on. It's ok. At least the hero fights with a broom against various monsters unfortunately i have a big problem as two trophies glitched away: defeating the first boss again will be easy but i didn't get the last boss' trophy but instead the 100% completion. According to the trophy guide i may have to complete the game two times now to get the boss trophy and the 100% speedrun trophy. But it'll take only a few more hours, like the speedrun must be completed within 3 hours with all collectibles so i'll go through again without the collectibles if necessary again. Edit: The trophy for getting 48 collectibles glitched too, so i have do it all over again Out: The Last Guardian In: Anodyne Edited June 26, 2021 by Evil_Joker88
Ninja-Sara-X
On 24/06/2021 at 0:14 PM, CriesOfFurya said: The real problem with TMNT is that it was delisted ages ago and almost no one owns it nowadays or can get a hold of it Otherwise a lot more people would play it, as it's actually not bad at all. Of course congratulations on finishing it. The survival mode can be really annoying at times, especially the skateboarding stages. If you just hit a mine before any of the 2 pizzas and you end up missing it, you might as well give up as you probably won't make it to the second one with your life. Mutants in Manhattan has been delisted but its readily available on disc so that's not the reason the percentage is so low, CEX stores in the UK have 10-20 copies depending on area you live in and can even order them to the nearest shop. Likewise, E bay has 100's of listings although at a more costly price. Problem with Mutants in Manhattan is that most people want everything handed to them, don't want the RNG aspect, get bored and ultimately stop playing. Also, I don't recall any skateboarding stages or survival mode in Mutants in Manhattan? Maybe it's something I overlooked?
Popular Post Copanele
I will also do a swap: Yakuza Kiwami - achieved Catherine (PS3) Mirror's Edge -> Blazblue Continuum Shift(PS3) Persona 4 Arena(PS3) Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3(PS4) Unfortunately I will kick Mirror's Edge away again. I don't dislike the game but man I really have no mood to run across the levels multiple times now. Instead I shove a Blazblue game here, I recently did the online for it and I have a really good vibe about this game. Maybe I will have more luck with it than with other games on the list (Catherine.... ?)
Popular Post Aecesaje_
Completed Days Gone. The only Ultra Rare trophies were on the Challenge DLC and I found them easy enough with some tough sections in between. Now NG+ was just bad, I really liked the game on my 1st playthrough but this 2nd one just made me notice all the problems, there's way too much unskippable talking and filler quests that add completely nothing to the characters or plot. Tier 2 1 - Days Gone (4.25%) - 100% +DLC 2 - Worms Battlegrounds (1.16%) - 14% 3 - Yakuza 0 (4.00%) - 7% 4 - Nova-111 (3.09%) - 0% 5 - Superhot (4.75%) - 100%
Popular Post FreshFromThaDeli
Tier 2 Update 3 1. Battlefield 3 (2.92% / 0.91%) 100% 2. OutRun Online Arcade ( 2.56%) 100% 3. Overwatch (1.87% / 0.17% ) 100% 4. RAGE (4.10% / 0.71%) 39% 5. The King of Fighters XII - Unobtainable (1.86%) 70% Overwatch is one of my most pleasant surprises of the last generation. I love how each character has personality through the amazing designs, voice overs, emotes etc. Blizzard rightfully garnered a lot of praise for the character designs from launch up until now including all of the DLC characters. The gameplay still holds up today 5 years after it's release with unique abilities, traits and Ultimate's for every character. Overwatch quite possibly has the most opportunistic trophy list I have been exposed to in my game library (Rapid Discord, Cratered etc.). All the trophies are online only and essentially boil down to two character trophies with a few miscellaneous trophies. Skill plays a big part as does sheer luck to get some of the trophies. Not too much else to say on the trophies as boosting is almost a necessity to get the extremely luck based trophies so that's what I done to clean up the game towards the second half of the completion. Making some good progress this week with 3 completions so now I will have to stop procrastinating and go back to RAGE ?
