Popular Post Copanele
Third game completed for my Tier 3 - Braid Braid - 2.44% achieved Yakuza 0 - 4%, achieved Slain Back From Hell - 3.72%, achieved Fu'un Super Combo (3.4% ,0%completed) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 (3.85% , 0% completed) My god this game's speedrun can go to hell. What was a fun relaxing puzzle game turned into a nightmare because every mistake cost me way more time than it should have. But at least I am done with it, it was the fasted Deleted game I could ever pull on PS3. Only 2 games remain and they will be pretty chill compared to the nightmare that Braid was.

Popular Post AuburnDRM
I've definitely been slacking a bit more this month than the previous, but I think I needed a bit of a break. However, I at least finished up Wipeout Omega Collection! It was quite fun, as I enjoy arcade racers over simulation. I played both the PS3 and Vita versions, so this one felt very familiar as it's just the same tracks, but touched up as far as I'm aware. I do regret not finishing the online multiplayer of the Vita version, so that means I'll never have the platinum because the servers were taken offline. Overall, I felt it might have dragged on a little bit due to sheer amount of content, but the challenge of the HD campaign was really fun. I'd say the 2048 campaign was a bit easier, but game controlled different enough that it felt fresh. Before Wipeout, I was putting quite a bit of time into Trials Fusion, which has been quite rough. I'm really enjoying the game, but also somewhat dreading it as everything I have left is pretty much the hardest content in the trophy list. I'm thankful that the trophy list doesn't require going full platinum times or challenges in the DLC, as that would be even more crazy than this game already is. I'm (hopefully) going to finish up Geometry Wars 3 on the Vita up for another event this month, so I'm going to add that to my current list as well. Popular Post Floriiss
Dustforce Started playing Dustforce a few days ago and got hooked straight away. Such an enjoyable challenging platformer with simplistic art style and soothing background music. I must admit that I had underestimated this game quite a bit. At first glance it looked rather simple. There's only a few mechanics in the game like jumping, dashing or attacking. The first few levels were so innocent and simple, but as I progressed through the game I quickly started to realise that this was nowhere near as easy as it seemed. It's pretty insane how much the difficulty increases overtime. The game has a total of four difficulties (bronze, silver, gold and red doors). The bronze and silver doors were manageable, but once I reached the golden doors I started to struggle more often with the levels. The red doors were even more challenging, but the final three levels (Exa, Zetta, Yotta) increased the difficulty even further. Yotta was definitely the hardest level for me. This level alone took me somewhere between 10-12 hours to complete. This level combines pretty much all of the hardest parts from the previous levels into one. Hardest part about it was the final checkpoint. It’s basically a long climb to the top with a lot of precise jumps and no checkpoints in-between. Execution has to be almost frame perfect. For a visual presentation refer to the GIF below. This GIF shows a small fraction of what the final checkpoint looks like. It’s certainly the part I struggled with most. Scoring double S rank in all of the levels was satisfying. In order to achieve the “SS” rank you have to collect all of the dust particles and never lose your combo (don’t die, don’t get hit, be fast enough, etc). Fortunately there’s an exploit available which gives you automatically an “S” rank for the combo. So by using this exploit you only have to focus on collecting all of the dust particles. If this exploit did not exist I think this would’ve been the hardest platformer out there to complete on PSN. Not losing your combo on levels like Yotta (thus not evening dying) is absolutely mental. I died over hundreds, if not thousands of times just on the final part. So doing the entire level flawless is insanity. Obviously it does become easier over time. I went through the level a few more times and was surprised how much I had improved. I even did some parts first try! But I still think it's pretty nuts to do levels like this without dying. That’s really impressive in my opinion. So yeah, Dustforce is one of those games that’s easy to learn, but hard to master. Glad I finally got around playing this game. I do think it's quite an underrated platformer and is certainly a hidden gem. It’s one of those games that’s pretty addicting and you keep on playing despite failing over and over. Tier 1 1. Very easy and fast to obtain. Will take you less than a minute or so. There's indeed nobody playing this game anymore, so you will have to boost it. If you're planning on playing this game in the future and don't have anybody to boost with feel free to send me a message. Popular Post Thedah
Battle Worlds: Kronos done! This game is fun but can be a chore. It's a tactics game with 13 missions but every mission takes at least 2 hours with some of them taking up to 5 hours to complete. The learning curve is pretty high, but once you understand how to play the game the missions become really easy. It's just a chore when your army is up to 30+ units and you have to move them one by one. Oh, I also reached over 1000 Ultra Rare trophies which was one of my goals for this year and this event really expedited that milestone. Tier 2: 1. Torment: Tides of Numenera - 0% 2. Popular Post ChxpointCharlie
Another wee update from me. I've completed Yakuza 0 and finished Tier 1. LocoRoco 2 Remastered (3.37%) Batman: Arkham Origins (1.93% UR, 1.04%) Killzone: Shadow Fall (1.69% UR, 0.28%) Hyper Light Drifter (3.34% UR, 1.9%) Yakuza 0 (3.94% UR) I have to echo all of @Copanele's points made above about the game. Although this wasn't my first experience with the series, it's the first time I've seen it through to 100%, and I thoroughly enjoyed every mad minute of my time in Kamurocho. I believe this also represents one of the longest Platinums for me - 3 attempts while falling off a couple of times over 3yrs - which was long enough for it to really feel like a big relief when finally clearing it off my list. In the end it was over 200hrs, but that's mostly because I was enjoying living in this world so much - because that's virtually what you have to do in these games: take up residency! So not the most difficult, but definitely one I am very pleased with finishing in my Tier 1. Here's my list for Tier 2: Mirror's Edge (2.90%) - 0% Wolfenstein II The New Colossus (0.80%) - 0% MGS4: Guns of the Patriots (4.27%) - 0% Vanquish (2.33%) - 0% Trackmania Turbo (0.60%) - 0%

Popular Post Smzthyy
Tetris Effect (0.49%) The SS ranks are the biggest challenge in this game, with Sprint and Ultra being the two hardest modes to SS. Earning the SS rank in Sprint mode requires you to clear 40 lines in 70 seconds, and that is a pretty daunting task for a Tetris novice. In the beginning I think my initial Sprint time was sat at around 2 minutes. From that point on it took me close to 50 hours just to reach the level of play that was needed to obtain the SS. Ultra requires you to score 35,000 points in 3 minutes. This SS is usually considered to be easier than Sprint mode as you can continuously set up T-Spins in order to maximise your score. I personally suck at setting up T-Spins consistently, so I had to keep getting back-to-back Tetris line clears in order to obtain the required score. Doing it this way meant that I had to clear around 110+ lines in 3 minutes. The other SS ranks are not too difficult in comparison. There was one mode in particular that was really annoying and that was Mystery mode. Your success in that mode largely depends on luck as you have to deal with random effects that impact your playfield. After finally SS'ing everything I then had a monotonous grind on my hands. I still needed to level up quite a bit and I needed to rotate a further 900,000+ Tetriminos. Fortunately, both of those tasks can be easily completed by using a turbo controller. So at that point I just sat back and waited for the platinum to unlock. I'm really looking forward to the multiplayer expansion that is set to release for this game in the summer. Hopefully it will include some DLC trophies. But with that said, I would like to reset my current tier. Tier 2.5 1. Battlefield: Bad Company (0.75%) - 37% 2. Moto Racer 4 (1.30%) - 13% 3. Racket Sports (0.85%) - 5% 4. Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (1.33%) - 66% 5. The Playroom (0.68%) - 0% I mainly just wanted an excuse to not play Echochrome if I'm being honest. I tried to give it a go but I had to uninstall it after 10 minutes as it was doing my head in. On a positive note, I finally managed to earn all of the online trophies in Battlefield: Bad Company after playing it on and off for the last 6 months. I'm really looking forward to tackling the single player. Moving forward I plan on using this event as a way to try and salvage my completion percentage. Once I get to Tier 3 I think I am finally going to start completing some of the harder games that are just sitting incomplete on my list. Popular Post DarthMagnus0605
Time for an updated. I finally got the Platinum for Superhot VR! This was an awesome game but unfortuantely was a little held back by the technology of PSVR. The camera was finnicky at times and my guns would shake and not hit their shots all the time. Despite that I had an absolute blast playing this game. The challenges really pushed me to master this game and overall this was a great Platinum journey. I also managed to get the ultra rare trophies for Uncharted 4 thanks to some help from a Facebook group. Now I just have to Platinum the main game and then I can finally move on to my last game in the Tier. Honestly with how busy my life is just getting these 5 games completed will be a huge accomplishment for me.
