Popular Post Lum
Update: Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (NA) (0.18%) Injustice seems to be known for being overrated in its difficulty, especially when you compare it to how rare it is (0.18%) combined with the number of owners for the NA region (323k+) and well…I’m not going to disagree there lol. But I’m not going to deny that this game still did give a decent challenge, mainly because of “The Max” and “Impossible!”, as well as a few of the missions in Star Labs (188, 220 and 224). Out of all the fighting games’ storylines I’ve experienced so far, I’ve enjoyed Injustice 1’s the most. Hell, I may even play Injustice 2 mainly for the storyline lol, while going for the trophies. As for the Star Labs I think I may be one of the few that actually enjoyed them 😆, since I’ve read mostly negative comments about them in trophy hunting forums. The worst part about this platinum is no doubt the grind to level 100, and why it took so long for me to platinum. Thanks to the new Hori that I bought (finally!!!), it eliminated just about all the negatives associated to what could have been the worst grind ever, even saved some electricity by having the television off too. Because you know, I’d rather be afk gaining xp and going about my day than sitting there for x amount of hours pressing the same two buttons while hearing The Flash sounding like he’s getting punched in the gut on a broken record lol. Tier 2: 1. The King of Fighters XIII (0.98%) 2. Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (NA) (0.18%) 3. 4. 5.

Popular Post Duke_Ryle
Well I might has well post an update now since I've been here. My last update was Axiom Verge 2 (PS5 version) back in May. I've completed two more games for a total of 3 games in tier 1. RDR (PS3 version) and Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. RDR is probably the first game I played on PS3 way back in 2010. I finally had some disposable income and wanted to play Final Fantasy 13 so I bought a PS3. When I bought it a friend of mine came over and we played some games and he let me borrow RDR. Which is also why it has 3 missing timestamps. I didn't know what trophies were when I first started and didn't connect my ps3 to the internet for like a month after I bought it. I played RDR off and on for a little bit then gave it back to my friend. Earlier this year, before the PS4 port was announced, I bought a GOTY copy fully intending to complete it later down the line, then got my butt in gear when they released the port, hoping they wouldn't shut off the servers before I finished. There's nothing to say about RDR that hasn't already been said. It's a great game. For Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. I bought this in 2013 a month after it released. Its a port of two arcade games from the 90s. The same friend from above was going through a divorce and wanted to get his mind off things during a holiday weekend. He asked if I would buy this so we could play it together. It's a game we both played at the arcade as kids. Its a fine beat-em-up from the time. "Shadow of Mystara" is the later release of the two ports and is a much better game. Better move set and controls. The first game "Tower of Doom" is pretty rough. The move set is more limited and it gives hit preference to the enemies, so you can get stun locked pretty fast and die, then continue and get stun locked again. I didn't realize how much these old arcade games were designed to take quarters from kids until I played this one again. The game was published by Capcom and leave it to Capcom to take a couple of ports from 1 1/2 hour long arcade games and turn it into a trophy list with 4 URs. The Scavenger trophy is definitely the headache here. You have to get all 160ish total items available in both games. Some of them are easy to find, others are complete RNG. I had one item left and it was 11:30pm. I decided to go for it figuring the RNG couldn't be that bad...and it took me 2 hours to get the last item. The trophy is also buggy and didn't pop when I obtained all the items. I had to restart my ps3 and start a new game for it to pop at 1:27am. I was pretty grouchy at work the next day. My plan when I first signed up here was to get into tier 2 and I may just be able to do it. The two major games with UR trophies left on my profile are Uncharted 4 and Dishonored (PS3 version). Thanks to @DrunkenEngineer for the suggestion above. I've joined the group they recommended and it still seems pretty active for the Uncharted trophies. For Dishonored I don't know. The trials look pretty tough and the sensitivity on my PS3 controllers are total ass, but we'll see. Hopefully I'll be able to 100% both games before the end of the year. Thanks again for creating this excellent event. I'm not much of a UR hunter, but its given me a great excuse to clean up the tougher games on my profile.

Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
Super Time Force Ultra has been toppled, completing my Tier 1 list! I do have a tentative Tier 2 list but given how late we are in the year and the likelihood of completing it, I'll probably put a pin in this one and call it a successful run. Gives me a whole list of awesome games to work on next go around! A brief review of my completions below. I learned a valuable lesson about chasing bounties... The Evil Within - Loved it Leo's Fortune - HATED IT Dead Cells - Loved it Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - Stockholm Syndrome Super Time Force Ultra - Hated it, then LOVED IT If I don't continue, we'll see you all next year!

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (1.83%) 96% complete - Platinum unobtainable Two more games done to finish my 4th tier since my last update 3 months ago, Tennis World Tour has one difficult trophy for making 15 volleys in a row but otherwise the rarity comes from it being a massive grind with some annoying RNG mixed in. Went back to PES 2011 just to clean up some unearned trophies, very easy but boring grind of mostly simulating through matches, have 1 unobtainable online trophy stopping me from the plat but I still had 2 UR's available, don't think I'll finish another tier this year but I should get 2 or 3 more games done. Popular Post Walt the Dog
Conception PLUS: Maiden of the Twelve Stars: 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/9933-conception-plus-maidens-of-the-twelve-stars/Wdog-999) All things considered, a pretty easy JRPG plat, if a bit of a long one at like 50-60 hours (so I guess more like median length for the genre ) after all's said and done thanks to a rather copious amount of RNG for a few grinds. The game itself is absurdly easy to the point that you can pretty much just auto-battle for the vast majority of the game and during the few times you do need to actually battle (mainly bosses and the enemies in the final dungeon), the strategy for every fight just boils down to using the skills that can raise your chain gauge a few times until you can get a chain drive, at which point you get several turns in a row to just lay waste to the enemies. While enemies can hit surprisingly hard at pretty much any point in the game, healing items of all types are absurdly plentiful so that there's basically no worry of ever running out mid-dungeon or having to actually save more valuable healing items for the final encounters (not that you'll have much reason to use them before that point anyway). The main pain points of the plat are the last few grinds towards the end, mainly having to find every weapon/armor/accessory and especially having to do every quest. The equipment grinds are mostly pretty easy since you don't need to have them all on you at once and in fact, you don't even need to save having them since they all just get saved to a system file upon being seen for the first time. Combine this with an altar (random spawn in dungeons) that can let you trade in an item for an item you haven't seen yet of similar value and the ability to save anywhere and it turns out that the majority of the equipment grind is just save scumming in front of an altar over and over again until it stops shitting out items because you've seen everything already. The only real pain point was the last few pieces of armor as some of them don't really share a tier with anything else or just with each other, meaning I did have to go out of my way to find the last few armors legitimately, which meant having to make a party specifically tailored towards high Luck since said armors were behind a door that required high Luck to open. Not too bad, but it was a bit of a disappointment after being able to just save scum the rest of the collection. As for the quests... most of them aren't too bad and actually clearing quests isn't really hard at all. The actual pain point is unlocking the game's 36 maiden quests, all of which require you to take calls while in a dungeon and hope you get a quest you need, which can lead to maddening RNG as you start to narrow down the quests and have to reload every time you get a quest you already completed since you can only hold one at a time. While I did manage to find a method to mostly eliminate this RNG by focusing on one maiden at a time, I had already sunk like 8-10 hours into this grind alone by the time I finally realized said method was possible, leaving me with only two maidens left to use the trick on. Oh well, at least I documented my method in the guide comments so maybe someone else's time can be saved. In any case, two more UR games and I can finally finish this event for the first time. Feels nice being this close; just need to make sure I don't dawdle on the last two games. Might go ahead and do the second game since while it's agonizingly close to UR (4.98%), it would be nice to just get the duology over with and see if the gameplay loop maybe sucks a bit less on a portable which the series was actually designed around. Speaking of which... @Copanele I'd like to declare Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars (EN) for my fifth tier. Not something I normally do (and I forget if this is even necessary anymore for at-risk plats like this ever since the swap-at-will system came into being), but with the rarity hanging so precariously and the Vita being rather infamous for random hackers fluctuating rarities at a moment's notice, may as well make sure I can count this. Yep it's all good, if you declared it. It is necessary, because if you finished it and it was 5.01% rarity, then it wouldn't have counted anymore. Popular Post MohandGamer7
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Difficulty: 7-8/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Time: ~180 hours My first Q4 game is Vermintide 2 and it was amazing. I enjoyed this game so much that it's now the best game I've played this year. My main class is Kerillian and her job basically is to revive the downed players and clutch games when they die. Kruber, Iron Breaker, and Battle Wizard are all also great in this game. Brief description of trophies For the platinum: Level up your characters to level 30, Complete all the challenges on Legend difficulty (17 total, one for each map), and a few misc trophies that will come naturally. For 100%: Weaves mode in Winds of Magic DLC is the hardest DLC out of them all and it's the main reason some people might give up on the 100%. You have to play 80 weaves with increasing difficulty (Up to Cataclysm 2) while doing a certain objective under time constraints (15 minutes). The game can throw all types of enemies at you with an added curse like tougher enemies or spirits that put on 1 HP the whole game. You need a dedicated team to get this done and it's another point I'd like to talk about. The most annoying part was finding 2 more players to join the team with me and another friend. Sometimes we had a few join us and all they did was die constantly forcing us to a death or a carry. My advice is to form a team of 4 players (3 might work) before starting this mode. The rest of the DLCs are basic stuff, like easy misc or completing the maps on Legend. Hopefully, I can get the last trophy in Crypt of the Necrodancer this year and get another Q4 game but it's been 2 years already :((

Congrats for that one 😆honestly yeah the parry/punish one was mad stupid, if I remember correctly the best chances were against Leona, she had a move that guaranteed me a successful parry. Still the worst for me was the "damage only when timer is a multiple of 3", god it took me an unreasonable amount of time to pull it off. Glad my tips helped! In terms of difficulty, I will have to give it to SamSho 6 tho, easily. As brutal as KoF2002 is, the AI doesn't randomly one shot you like in SamSho6. Also the Survival mode there is straight out busted, even with Mina (my character of choice, I can't stand Amakusa),if you have poor bonus RNG the AI will kick your ass. And there's the 46 arcade runs too...yeah SamSho6 was way worse for me 😆
