PSNP+ is a highly configurable userscript which adds functionality directly into PSNProfiles.com.

The script has been in development for over 4 years now and received over 90 updates since its creation.

    • Create custom lists of games - backlog, wishlists, community challenges etc.
    • Add and remove any game to your lists, move games between them
    • Search, order and filter your lists
    • Tag your games with custom tags

How to install:

  1. Install Tampermonkey extension in:
  2. Click: https://psnp-plus.netlify.app/psnp-plus.user.js
  3. With Tampermonkey:
    1. Tampermonkey install prompt will appear. Click install.
  4. With Userscripts:
    1. Open Userscripts extension from the address bar (puzzle icon).
    2. Userscripts prompt to install the script will appear. Install it.
  5. Visit psnprofiles.com / refresh PSNP tab.
  6. You are good to go. You can see the currently installed version info in the footer or in top-right corner: user dropdown -> "PSNP+ Settings".
  7. Last but not least, do not forget to backup your data every once in a while!

 

[IMPORTANT] How to backup/restore your PSNP+ data:

PSNP+ stores all your data directly in your web browser. Only you have access to it, no one else. Your browser may however delete your data, for example when you clear your browser cache or decide to clear all your cookies. It's best to keep a backup of your PSNP+ data somewhere safe and in case your data (lists, settings, etc.) disappears, you can restore everything back.

 

  1. Go to "PSNP+ Settings". (image)
  2. Click "Export" in the "Data" section. (image)
  3. This will prompt you to save a file. Keep it somewhere safe, e.g. Dropbox folder.
  4. When you want to restore your backup, click "Import" in the same "Data" section and choose the file you previously exported.

 

How to update the script:

  • Tampermonkey will check for updates in regular intervals.
  • You can also force it by:
    • clicking the Tampermonkey icon in top-right corner of your browser -> Utilities -> Check for userscript updates. (image)
    • clicking the installation URL again -- this will trigger update/reinstall dialogue

 

How to uninstall the script:

  1. Open Tampermonkey dashboard. (image)
  2. Click delete (trash bin icon). (image)

I'm quite stumped to be honest. This is the second time you come here criticizing me for no reason. I don't know you, we have never interacted but you act like someone who can make demands.

Currently the functionality is very basic and you can't sort the list in any way. Adding alphabetical sorting (by title) would be very easy though.

I'm basically looking to collect some feedback and I will add what people ask for most.

Thank you. Actually, only couple hours of fiddling with PSNP's HTML structure.

 

@panikooooos The link was somewhat broken, sorry! I fixed it in the first post. Once you click it, Tampermonkey should show install dialog (image) and you just click "Install".

Looks good but it seems to load the games from my profile below the games in my backlog.

 

Edit: It is fine when you enter it from a different tab.

 

Edit2: You may want to remove the clear button or give it a confirm. If you misclick it, you will lose all the games in the backlog.

Awesome man, it works, I would suggest a proper block/ignore feature if you're planning to add more to this, so far so good though, looks solid ??

How did you manage to do that? Are you able to reproduce the issue?

Yeah, the clear button is not all that useful. I added it during development but I will most likely remove it because clearing everything at once is almost never needed.

I'm talking about the forum section, now for example if you get tired of seeing the same dumb posts by a user, technically you can put them in an "ignore" list but it doesn't even hide his status updates and you also see a "this post was hidden blah blah" when they reply in a thread. Personally I would like the option of ignoring a user entirely, never seeing him or his posts again if possible once in the "block/ignore" list.

@Danny_Johansen Thanks for letting me know. I never noticed this because I have less than 100 games. I will simulate this with someone elses profile and push an update later.

Also, I have noticed an issue with platform scraping which I will fix ASAP.

 

@panikooooos That's part of third party Invision Forum Board which I'm not planning to tinker with.

@Danny_Johansen I have updated the script. See first post for update instructions. Your games should no longer appear at the end of your backlog.

Just fyi, this button is available in every profile tucked away in the top left corner and the button becomes fully visible once you place your mouse over it.

For now, it doesn't do anything other than it makes it very clear that you are running PSNP+ script.

I have some plans with it for later.

Dude, this really is incredible! ? I really appreciate that you put in the effort of implementing this... will definitely be using it! 

 

 

Only a quick question... I added a game to my backlog on my laptop and later installed the extension on another computer... and my backlog there is empty. I guess that's just the way it is given the nature of the script? :)

Yeah, for now the backlog is not synced anywhere. I have an idea how this could be done and it's one of the things that I would find very useful as well.
