Same here, too many generic games these days, hype does not equal good games. The only game I'm looking forward to this year in real anticipation is Final Fantasy XII. I don't need to pay £60 for a new football game with the only real changes being the squad members and shirt appearance, or the current years COD. Nor did I pay £180 to pre-order Final Fantasy XII during the first chance to pre-order, in fact I still haven't pre-ordered it and may not at all. I don't and shouldn't need to pre-order a game coming next year on the promise it will be a good game. It is bad for consumers to fund a game during it's conception and production. Funding should come afterwards from sales, so that bad production is punished the only place it counts - the pocket.
