No we don't, we buy games and own them. The online is a "service" that for the most part, ends when the developer stops making sales on said product. Online "only" games like The Crew could be considered not ours, but you still own the disc or digital version.

Lord_Bane999
On 4/21/2024 at 2:40 AM, Ryan Industries said: Note: This was originally reported on last year by IGN. I just became aware of this because of a recent Facebook post where another development team was saying farewell to them. My apologies. Publisher/Developer Mimimi Games GmbH (a.k.a. Mimimi Productions) is shutting down. They made The Last Tinker (Delisted in 2023), Desperados III, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun & Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. The only game out of the four that was self-published was Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice was announced last year for PS4 but who knows if that will still be released. For what it's worth, they stated that there games will remain up for sale. If anyone is worried that they will eventually be delisted, Shadow Tactics is currently heavily discounted on PSN until April 25, 2024. Shadow Gambit is also on sale until April 25, 2024 but is still quite expensive. Desperados III & Shadow Tactics are available to play for PS+ Extra members. How about a spreadsheet for old times sake: I mentioned this in the old shutdown thread before on it's closing. But to add besides the old article. They didn't see any forseeable impacts coming in the way of delistings at the time. Shadows Gambit was their last game and they did released a dlc for it posthumously as promised too so I think it's likely they won't go down. Shadow Tactics Aiko's choice by the way was a standalone expansion that was released for the PC version only. The devs were going to try to make it available on console as well, but by that time they got around to making a port of it the console version was made on an older version of Unity and they would've had to rework the entire thing to port over. This information was shared through video dev diaries before so most people missed them.
Lord_Bane999
In probably the biggest move today Embracer has done to try and settle their debts. They have officially spilt into three separate entities. The one entity will be gaming developer, publisher and licensor Asmodee. Asmodee owns Twin Sails Interactive (formerly Asmodee Digital) in a controversial take apparently Asmodee assets were used towards a $900 million euro loan. If anything fails Asmodee will be held liable for any repayments. While Embracer Group will be not liable. Obviously there's not many games on PSN luckily by Asmodee or licensed IPs either. But since the debts have till 2025 to be paid, we could see an entire catalogue of games possibly disappear in the future if they are forced to repay through any means. https://www.wargamer.com/board-games-publisher-asmodee-900-million-debt https://psnprofiles.com/games?publisher=11941-asmodee-digital

Popular Post Ryan Industries
It appears the first Bendy and the Ink Machine will be safe from a future delisting now. The publisher has changed from Rooster Teeth to Joey Drew Studios Inc (the owner of the IP). It was announced in March 2024 that Rooster Teeth Productions would be shutting down. They also published and developed RWBY: Grimm Eclipse which is still under there name (they also own the IP for the series).

Popular Post Djak276
1 hour ago, Thephoenixshow said: wont be surprised at some point only mentions no future updates to the game at the moment one to keep a eye out on For information, this game is a long grind and can be glitched. You need to kill 2500 players and 2500 zombies. We didn't have issues for the 2500 player kills but on our group of 4 players, one of us didn't unlock the trophy for 2500 zombie kills, we didn't have any clue why. On differents forums, people said they had to kill 5000 zombies to unlock it. So better keep this in mind if someone wants to go for it before a potential shutdown. Of course, killing 2500 zombies can be done offline, but we used our multiplayer save to gather ammo, food, materials, weapons... To make it easier. There's also a duplication glitch but you need to play on a multiplayer session.
Sydoki
Does downgrading 7 Days to Die and getting player kills through the trader kill glitch mean the plat can be fully done offline?

I remember seeing in the older thread that this game only just went on sale for the first time in 2024, despite releasing in 2018. The sequel, under the same dev and publisher did not have this problem.

Yes, although playing it in co-op for some of the trophies makes it a lot easier since you can duplicate everything
