Popular Post xZoneHunter
#194 Earth Defense Force 4.1 Time: 332hrs My first EDF platinum. Over the last year, EDF has become one of my favourite franchises. I absolutely love how chaotic the gameplay can get and how cheesy the story/characters are. If you've not familiar with the series, it's basically Starship Troopers the videogame. You shoot at giant insects/aliens with a giant arsenal of guns at your disposal. Platinum wise the game isn't really hard, if you grind enough. And grinding is what you'll be doing for more than half of your playtime. Aside from that you have to beat the game with each character on each difficulty (4 classes x 4 difficulties = 16 playthroughs) However to speed it up a little you can play in splitscreen co-op with two different classes so you 'only' need to beat it 8 times. You also have to collect every weapon in the game, and there are a total of 801 weapons - which are all rng drops spread out over different levels and difficulties. Even though the road to plat was long and tedious, the game is super fun to play. The game doesn't get that much attention imo, so if you like 3rd person shooters with a cheesy/comedical setting, i'd definitely recommend it. It's also a great co-op game. Special shout-out to the EDF community in general, couldn't have done it without the great guides available on the internet and tips i got from the people over on the EDF discord. Also thanks to @bladesoframen & @Brawler for playing co-op. EDF! EDF!! EDF!!!
Popular Post PooPooBlast
#87 Titanfall 2 A very nice and short game. Took me about 14 hrs and 30 mins of total game time. Possibly one of the best mechanics that I wish was elaborated slightly more on in chapter 5 was... Not going to spoil it but it was such a brilliant game design. I really liked some of the futuristic settings in some of the chapters along with the satisfying gunplay in general. Couple that with some light traversal elements like wallrunning and you've got yourself a game . I also like how it was light on the collectibles and the trophies focused more so on skill. The master's gauntlet trophy wasn't all that bad tbh. Perhaps nothing that some Mirror's Edge experience can't overcome . Overall really satisfied with this game and I highly recommend to everyone. One thing to note is that don't go looking for a story to enjoy because that definitely wasn't the focus.
Popular Post LightningVII-
#5 - The Order: 1886 Wow, this was a surprise. I heard it was 50/50 for a lot of people it was either really good or just average and after playing the game. I can see why. The game itself is fantastic, great gunplay, super great setting with advanced technology. Likeable characters. It has a lot of good points. The other side of the argument is that the game is in fact ridiculously short. A great game but crazy short. Hope there is a sequel or prequel. There were a lot of talks of some characters being alive for a ridiculously long time due to in game stuff so would like to see where it goes. A sequel would be likely based on the ending though. Oh and the collectibles were actually okay in this game, especially liked the archive recording thingys. Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#18 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Hardest Trophy Another Uncharted Platinum in the bag. I really do enjoy the series and for what it is worth, I hope that the series has finally come to a close. I pushed myself to play through Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to officially have played through every Uncharted Game to date. Chloe is an interesting character and managed to do great at handling the protagonist role. Nadine? Just no. I didn't like her in Uncharted 4 and her appearance in this game made the story and dialogue difficult to follow. I get that Nathan and Sam (SPOILERS!) aren't so innocent as they did practically murder the majority of the shoreline army but the fact that Chloe uses that against Sam's comment about how she tried to kill them felt out of character for me. I wasn't too bothered by Sam, as his role in UC4 wasn't too particularly horrible and him as a character, to me, he was kinda cool. I just hope Naughty Dog let this series die as peacefully without getting milked. In regards to Trophies; Lost Legacy isn't too difficult but it suffers from the same fault as UC4, being that there is far too much collectibles. Naughty Dog has gone to an effort to make the treasure hunting a bit easier this time round, though. I won't spoil how but if you're planning on getting all of the treasures, ensure that you complete the token side-quest in Chapter 4. I would recommend you to play this based on the fact that above all, the game looks as gorgeous as ever and you will be treated to some eye-candy along the way. I just really hope this really is the last game in the series.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #125 de Blob King Blob Master De Blob in all possible ways Painting 100% was a pain on a few levels, messed up quite a few times in the last level that made me have to start all over. Ugh. And the tree I kept missing was in the most obvious place ever and it makes me angry how blind I was being not finding it sooner. Oh well. It felt great to play this game again, though one problem I have with this version is that it takes so much longer to mash x than it did to shake the wiimote to change things. It made one side-mission incredibly close. I got it only within 2 milliseconds*, because it requires you to clear 4 buildings and jump around and I couldn't do it any faster at all, even though every single other challenge was painfully easy. To the point I could mess up and circle around in another one and still finish in time. And the game sometimes won't load a level up and just hang on the load screen, and I got a colorful crazy glitch that made me have to redo the last level and lose 30 minutes of my life. But yeah, I think I never beat this on the Wii. I thought I did, but I must have confused it with something else. I didn't remember the last few levels at all. Love the music, love the style, the platforming can be a bit annoying at times but that was true of the Wii version. Had fun, even if it annoyed me with the last damn level. Popular Post LilFlower85
√Letter You got all the trophies! Still wondering what went through the head of the creator for some of the endings which i thought were W.T.F....but it was still an enjoyable visual novel. Really liked the feel of being a detective.
Popular Post TheWestPT
#3 Grand Theft Auto V Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 It's not a difficult plat and it amazes me that so few people have it. Yeah, you need to boost (or not, but most activities are desert and it's recommended). But it is time consuming as hell. It took me almost 2 weeks of leveling 5 levels/day to go from 25 to 100 and that was thanks to the 2x RP on transform races and the fact that I can handle myself in those (by handling I mean go full demolition derby). The "Decorated" trophy glitched out on me after I got the 30th award, so I had to do another for it to pop. Anyway, I'm really happy I finally got this. Never did it on PS3 (modders are annoying) and I'm really proud I could do it on this gen. Maeglenus
#15th platinum Enjoyment: 3/10 Difficultly: 1/10 A easy platinum. It's a visual novel game, just follow the guide at ps3imports and you can get a easy platinum within 5 hours. Just combine playing this game with watching your movies (I did watch Netflix). I could borrow the disc for PSVita from my friend. I also borrowed Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds, so it's my next platinum I guess. On my way to next platinums! Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#226 - The Inner World This was kind of a meh experience. The art style wasn't very appealing to me, neither were the really bland jokes. It's an ok-ish point-and-click that has a tendency to freeze. This is something to be wary of especially with older PS3 games that still have online servers. Call of Duty: World at War from what I heard has hacked lobbies. It is possible to get trophies you didn't earn in these lobbies, and you will likely get flagged for questionable time stamps. It's complete bullshit. You couldn't do anything about it but you're still liable to get flagged. Sony should remove those trophies and make you try again. But they're not going to because they don't care, especially not on a game that's nearly an entire decade old.

Popular Post B1rvine
Strider Master from Strider A great little gem and nostalgic Metroidvania type game. I also learned from playing it that my controller L3 knob is slightly off center. My Strider always seemed to wanna upward slash. Very sensitive control scheme. Popular Post Izularia
#201: Infamous inFamous Platinum Trophy Collect all other inFamous trophies. Phew, it's done! I was afraid of the shards before starting it, but I was using a map right from the beginning so I could mark the shards I've found. Otherwise, the game wasn't that difficult, even hard was relatively easy Normally, I like the good playthroughs more in video games, but in Infamous, the evil side was much more interesting and fun (damn, the red lightning is stylish!). Story was thrilling and I'd like to see how the story about Cole continues, so I'm definitely planning on playing Infamous 2 too at some point. However, the controls felt imprecise most of the time, especially when Cole got stuck on invisible walls or when he was falling through the map. I really hope these problems were fixed in the second entry of the series.
Popular Post markcavan
#171 - WRC 4 on PSVita - (48th plat of 2017) - 29.83% UNCOMMON I got this game for €2.99 during a recent sale. For the price I paid its a good game but is somewhat boring due to the repetitive races. Thankfully the online is not dead and was easy enough to complete. I'd also recommend NOT playing on beginner but to play in intermediate, even when going for an easy platinum. Beginner is so easy anyone could win any race were intermediate is more fun and adds a little challenge. Overall 4/10 enjoyment and 2/10 difficultly Edited November 30, 2017 by markcavan
