Popular Post locutus442
Platinum #42: Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Champion of Ivalice Collected all other trophies. One of my all time favorites on the Ps2. I was thrilled and elated when this was announced for the Ps4. I was not disappointed when I played this. Only reason this one took me so long was other games got my attention and I only recently got back into it. On a side note, whoever came up with trial #100 I'd like to kick them in the family jewels. My first time trying that battle was beyond infuriating (although I did not go down without a fight). Second attempt went much better thanks to a Youtube video I found.
Popular Post GoldenShaka
98 Shining Resonance Refrain Shining Resonance Refrain Omg this game is so generic in terms of trophy creativity that even the platinum title is the name of the game Anyway, fun game, nice amount of waifus, my favorite especially due the ending was Sonia, as a parter handsdown Kirika the best. I never knew how to use Rinna properly so she was my weakest character follow by Lestin. I didn't check the guide prior to starting the game otherwise I would have saved some time playing Refrain mode, it was a waste of time two playthroughs. In the future i need to boost experience for the rest of the girls, there are some sigils Women only, and the only character high level is Kirika 101, the rest less than 50 :/ Getting finally closer to Platinum 100.
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 235 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 This racing game is similar to wipeout in vehicles and how the tracks are set up with twist and turns and that's where the similarities end. There are no weapon pick ups instead you select different things from the menu before starting the race that you have to buy and upgrade. They range from energy draining leech beam to a wide EMP bomb to disrupt other racers and even a mega turbo which exhausts your energy from max. There's also buffs you can equip that range from letting you break the top speed of your vehicle, obtain energy faster, or even take turns easier. It's nowhere near the difficulty of Wipeout and there are a ton of races and you don't even have to complete all races, just get 45 gold medals, a platinum medal, and finish the final race. There's one online trophy for winning a race so that's no issue there.

Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#204: Nights of Azure Somewhere in the 11th century the first Saint defeated the Nightlord (the demon king). Upon the Nightlord's defeat, his blue blood rained all over Ruswal. Anything that came into contact with the blue blood became a fiend. Since the Nightlord is a pure blood demon, he will eventually revive and bring back the Eternal Night. Since then, a Saint is selected every 10 years as a sacrifice to strengthen the seal that holds the demon king. In the game's present day Arnice arrives in Ruswal to guard the next Saint, Lilysse. The game is very easy, in fact I'd say it's way too easy up until the final boss. The final boss can heal itself and seal familiars, but leveling up a bit is more than enough to overcome this. The story is ok as are the characters. Not much is explained about secondary characters, which is a shame. The post-game has two more bosses and the first one is a good challenge. After clearing the main story, the Extra section is unlocked. This enables players to view concept art and listen to soundtracks. I like that each soundtrack has a personal note from the composers. This game also has its share of grinds, such as summoning familiars 1,000 times, defeating 10,000 enemies, and completing 300 side quests. Completing 300 side quests is by far the worst and most pointless grind and I barely reached 100 when completing the main story (and even that was only because I did as many quests as possible). There are only around 30 side quests in the game and these are recycled over and over again. Defeating 10,000 enemies is also very pointless, as there are much faster ways to level up. All in all the grinds reduce the fun factor a lot, since it takes up about a third of the time to plat the game.
Popular Post Sora9427
Ultimate Player Perfect Collection AH! Done with "Menu Simulator". I started this game back in 2014 when it was given with the PSPlus and left it because it was a period i started and left many games, this one included. I Played it seriously back then but now? Nah don't wanna bother, if i want to then i'll play Pes 2019 tomorrow (Which i'll consider it, if there aren't as boring trophies probably, mostly "Be a Legend" trophies) so i basically Simulated all i could! Plat itself is pretty easy being able to edit whatever you need and simulate 85% of the games for the trophies so not big deal just reeally boring, too many menus to go in Between, especially 1 At the start of everyday, it's useless, if i wanna change team before the match i'll do that in the right menu don't tell me that every time, it even put that menu when there was no news or match Anyway Glad to be done, a game i had at 10% completed and out of the Ps3 Backlog. 142 Plat. 9614 Trophies, i wodner what milestone i'll it first if 150 Plats or 10000 Trophies
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #275: Middle-earth: Shadow of War (including DLC) Difficulty: 3/10 (4/10 for Desolation of Mordor) Playtime: 47 hours, 37 minutes (plus some eleven-twelve hours of DLC) Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Having loved Shadow of Mordor (to the point of suffering through the hellish PS3 port), I was always going to be buying the sequel... however, all the lootboxes and monetization stuff really put me off on getting it day one. While waiting for a good deal so as to give as little money as possible to WB... they took 'em out. Makes you wonder why they even put it in there in the first place if the game can function just as well without it. Anyways, don't know why I put it off for another year after that but here we are. As expected, it's Shadow of Mordor, but bigger and, in most cases, better. The Nemesis system has more dynamic variables that makes for still more unpredictable emergent gameplay. New abilities make combat and movement even more fun... any encounter can swing in your favour with some quick thinking. Taking over fortresses and stuff with your mindraped underlings can be chaotically pleasurable, a miserable failure, or underwhelmingly easy. Lots of ways to go about it. A fun trophy list, too, tasking you with really exploring what the game has to offer. Apart from that one poison graug I took hours to find (where's Torvin and his tracking skills when you need it), it was a well-paced, varied, and fun hunt. I could have had it done in a little less time than I ended up doing, but I had some fun just goofing around from time to time. No point in rushing things when a game is, you know, enjoyable. Even the DLC was above average. Liked it a whole lot, and definitely a proud milestone (for me personally, if not on PSNP as I'm past the 1/4 of a 100 milestones looks like) I'll always cherish. I'm not even wholly done with it... as an experiment, I'm going to really beef up my fortresses with the most powerful guys I can find and see if I can get to max online rank by having people fail to conquer them. Feel free to try, guys... and hey, if you make it, there'll be a lot of legendaries and other cool orcs for you to dominate. Best of luck ?

Popular Post linkdevivo
Final Fantasy X Time to : 115 Hours BE SURE AND CHECK OUT MY JOURNEY TO PLATINUM ALL FINAL FANTASY MAINLINE SINGLEPLAYER GAMES WHICH I'VE KINDA DOCUMENTED FOR YOUR READING PLEASURE HERE ON PSNPROFILES: I had almost given up on this journey to platinum all mainline games. I really couldn't get to FFXII The Zodiac Age because of many reasons and I started having kind of a Final Fantasy burnout and left this journey on hold for a whole year. Enter E3 2019 where Square Enix's conference single-handedly won E3 and re-awoke my FF passion. Seeing VII Remake was so beautiful and hype-inducing; add to that the fact that FFVIII Remastered was announced and I started to get this little itch. I turned on my PS4, downloaded the Zanarkand PS4 theme and put in FFX Remastered. Now, TBH I had heard mixed stuff about it. A lot of negative stuff too, saying that it failed to live up to the Final Fantasy name that the previous PS1 era had built up for it. Having finally platted this game, I can say without a doubt that i don't understand what the negative critics are talking about. FFX is a masterpiece and it is definitely worthy of the Final Fantasy name. Tidus' story was beautiful, filled with ups and downs, wonderful music, great character moments, and awesome turn-based gameplay. Now that's not to say that it is a perfect game, it does has its flaws. For one, since it is only a remaster and not a remake, you can start feeling the dated mechanics like the slow-running and the fact that you can't skip cutscenes even after losing a battle. This was pure hell to go through as I didn't understand the deep mechanics of its battle system up until halfway (everything was easy up until a certain boss battle). Now that said, I could easily signal the voice acting as a negative but I didn't really feel that this was the case. It gets such bad reputation (especially the laughing scene), but to be honest it was very acceptable. I'm positive that back then it was way better compared to other games. Another thing that nearly broke me was the grind. So many people in this thread warned me and i didn't believe them. What a motherfucking depression-inducing grind, guys. I grinded the fastest spheres i could for the blank nodes on the sphere grid (magic defense, even though i had already max) and hit a wall later on when I had to fight the dark aeons because I was so underleveled even after filling out the sphere grid (stupid mistake as i didn't know that the dark aeons would be so powerful), so i had to erase some MD nodes for attack and strength and that added a lot of hours more to the grind. Finally, i'd like to say that this love story between Tidus and Yuna is probably right up there with FF9's love story between Zidane and Dagger as the best ones of the series to date. The ending in particular was so beautiful that it got me teary-eyed with a full orchestral version of Zanarkand, which, along with Suteki Da Ne, is probably one of the best FF tracks of all time. I wish that the soundtrack didn't rely as much on these 2 songs as it did as the other songs were cool too but we just didn't get to hear them a whole lot. Popular Post Appappachai
Platinum# 56 Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition Luchador #1 Difficulty 6/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Rarity: 9.90% Attacked the Backlog again. The game was fun, and I would have rated it an 8.5 out of ten, except I still remember the treetops... I have never played a more frustrating level sequence before (I mainly play RPGs) that was until I got to the Sierra Morena orb section with the disappearing platforms. Multiple points in this game really frustrated me. Javier Jaguar took a few tries on hard, so did the trio of guitar players. All in all it was a decent game and I'm glad it's out of my backlog. I won't play the second though, I don't trust the developers not to pull that treetop crap again.
Popular Post StewartBros
STEINS;GATE #138 - Sky Clad Observer Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 This was the first visual novel I've ever played, and when it was offered on PS+ a while back, I had to give it a shot after hearing the almost universal acclaim for both the game and the anime. It featured one of the most amazing stories I've ever encountered in a game, and its description of the consequences of time travel was really quite breathtaking at times - just what would you do if a certain event was unavoidable or predetermined by fate, and no amount of time travelling on your part could prevent said event? I got quite attached to several of the characters, especially Mayuri, as Spoiler the whole story is focussed around Okarin's attempts to protect her, and Kurisu too became a cause for concern when her safety began to look in doubt. Trophy-wise, pretty much everything popped when it was supposed to, with the only exception being the trophy for receiving all the Rainet episode summaries - I missed one during my initial playthrough, and since I didn't know which one it was, I worried that I'd have to replay most of the game to find it - but luckily, it was just the very first one. Popular Post DrZero_1983
Platinum # 121 OCD from Day of the Tentacle Remastered It was a very easy platinum, since I still remembered most of the puzzles from when I played it on PC a lot of years ago, but I enjoyed hunting the hidden trophies without a walkthrough since most are obtained for trying wrong combinations of inventory items, silly dialogue options with npcs and doing other random funny stuff typical of this kind of games. And as a bonus I think this game owns the ultimate platinum trophy image
Popular Post I_BREAK_U_IN_2
Grand Theft Auto V #137 - Los Santos Legend Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment 9/10 Started playing this game way back in 2014 and finally got the motivation to go and achieve the remaining trophies. Surprisingly, getting 70 gold medals did not pose too much of a challenge thanks to the fact that you can go for the objectives in missions over multiple attempts and don't have to worry about getting them all in one attempt (I'm looking at you Red Dead Redemption 2). Most of the other trophies are pretty simple as well but can be time consuming. GTA Online isn't too bad as I actually find it enjoyable most of the time and usually play whatever is double money and RP anyway so leveling up was not a problem. Now the only trophies I am missing for 100% are the two that concern the challenges for the Doomsday Heist, which I am not sure I even want to attempt because of how ridiculous they are! Overall, I am very proud to have added this one to my collection. Popular Post IceSoul21
Just Cause 2 Winner Takes All Earn all the trophies Enjoyment: 7.5/10. Difficulty: 8 (mostly because of some of the Challenges). Rarity: Very Rare (5.35 here on PSNProfiles). I got the game when it was on sale some time ago the PS Store, after checking a bit of it on YT. The plot follows Rico Rodriguez, an agent of, well, the Agency who gets sent to Panau in order to kill an agent who apparently went rouge and allied himself with Panau's dictator Pandak "Baby" Panay. However, before Rico can find this rogue agent, he has to help 3 different criminal gangs so he can gather information. And you've to either complete their missions or cause chaos in order to be able to progress the story. The most boring part of the game was the grinding in order to get 75% completion, but maybe because I like getting items in open world/sandbox types of games, I didn't find it that annoying. I guess being able to blow stuff up can get old quickly, but it'll always have that charm that makes you go "I think I'll blow some more stuff up". The game is fun, at least IMO. But if you're looking for a good story, this game doesn't have it. I mean, it does have a story, but it's nothing amazing or anything like that. I think you could refer to the story as a "simple/silly" type of action movie plot. IDK if'll try the other Just Cause games. Maybe if I get a PS4 or PS5 (since it'll be backwards compatible), and if JC 3 & 4 are at a "cheap" price, I might give them a try ?. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#268 - Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World True Dawn of the New World You have obtained all trophies. This truly is the dawn of a new world! I've heard nothing but negative opinions about this game for years, so I had no real expectation going into this Tales game, and that made it all the sweeter when I found out that this game was nowhere near as bad as people said it was. In fact, I would consider very good. Now I understand why this game is perceived so negatively since it's a sequel to many people's favourite entry in the series and I'm certainly not going to suggest that it comes close to that game's greatness. I'm sympathetic to the argument that the original Symphonia ended perfectly and didn't need a sequel as it just muddied the plot, but taken by itself, Dawn of the New World is a solid game. I'll fight anyone who disagrees. I often heard people talk about how awful the protagonist of this game is, and I get why considering how much of a wimp he is at the beginning of the game, but he doesn't stay like that throughout the adventure. I actually found his character arc quite endearing along with his relationship with Marta. Speaking of, she's a real sweetie. This game introduces a monster capturing mechanic that allows you to bring them into your party, evolve them into better forms, etc. I thought it was pretty neat. The platinum was very time-consuming and my final playtime was around 150 hours. It's not hard, but you can kind of screw yourself if you're not properly keeping track of monster evolutions and skits you've seen because the game doesn't keep track of that in an effective way. You have to do it all manually, otherwise good luck searching for the ones you missed. I definitely added quite a few hours onto my playtime because I wasn't doing that from the start, but it could have been worse. It's a big relief to get this plat done. My quest to platinum all the Tales games continues. Up next is most likely going to be Vesperia.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Bonds of the Skies Complete Conquest Obtain all trophies Using the what? USING THE WHAT??!! There's no such thing as a bad 16-bit JRPG, but this sure as heck comes close. It doesn't look so hopeless at first glance, but the more you play, the more annoyed you get Okay, so the graphics are fine. It's Super Nintendo quality, it's retro, it's hard to f**k that up. Music is just bleep bloop, in from one hole and out of the other (ear, not butt) Then there's the story/dialogue/writing. I'm pretty sure it's made by a 12-year old preteen pimple faced basement dweller. All the lines come out as childish, the structure of the text is hollow and irrational, every sentence just pisses me off Random battles are fine, I can live with those. But not when farming for some luck-based materials and already at max level. Pointless. Lastly, micro transactions. What the shit, make the game irritating on purpose and then offer some easement with "just a few bucks"... Well, f**k you Kemco and your cash grubbing policy. Thanks for pissing on my nostalgia shoes, you...you meanies There's plenty of good turn-based olden adventures out there, Bonds of the Skies just ain't it
Popular Post PlatinumThief88
Anthem I finally got this pain in the ass. Ended up doing an all nighter to get the final collectables I needed so I could get the damn game off of my hard drive and actually have a bit of space on it. I really don't recommend it to anyone else. The game tricks you into believing it'll be fun at the start by making you feel like Iron Man when flying around, but it quickly wears away after how repetitive the game gets. It's only real benefit is that the trophy list is easy, and the only one that'll give you an issue is "No Stone Unturned" which is the one for collecting all 300 collectables, many of which are randomly spawning (but in set location at least), and thankfully there are a few spots on the map where you can go in and out of that have collectables right next to them that seem to have decently high spawn chances, so you can grind it out there, well some of them anyway, but it's a big help. But you're better off just not bothering. Edited July 2, 2019 by PlatinumThief88
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #174 Storm Boy Storm Boy Get all other Trophies in Storm Boy Not much of an accomplishment, basically a free plat. I wish it didn't have one given how short and content-less the game is. But, I liked the game. It's not a great game, the minigames are pretty crap. Best ones being the two where you fly forward as the seagull. And the sledding... but there's not much point to them beyond when required for the story. A story which actually got me a bit emotional. Though I think it could've been done a little better, but it still did the job for me. Main problem is that in a game like this, where it's more about the narrative it could have used an actual narrator and it could have had the text work better. If you keep moving (it's 2D, so left to right) then you don't have time from when the text triggers to when it disappears to keep running. You have to stop and read. Which is annoying. That's why a narrator would've been nice. Happy I gave it a shot though, and it gave me a plat in a 2 month drought of not doing much.
