Popular Post Dauersack
?Nioh? #42: You Are ?Nioh? No pictures, this game does not deserve it. I take great offense to this platinum accusing me of being Nioh, but then again thats not as bad as actually having to play it. I could write over 3000 words about why Nioh is the single worst game I have ever played on any of the 6 consoles I owned in my life, and for any other game I would take the time out of my day to write all pros and cons down, but this game ain't worth that kinda time and effort. I have a new plat, it was not worth it, going back to being a completionist bit me in the ass here and since some of the abysmal dlc trophies are still not done I have a few more hours of this shit before I can finally delete, repress any memory of it and play any other game for a better experience. This game is bad enough to catapult Bloodborne and Sekiro on my avoid list because these two games get compared with it so often. If you are on the fence with this game, just don't get it, it is the most repetetive and badly made shitstain of a game I have ever played by far, and if a years long fan of Dynasty Warriors and proud achiever of the Orcs Must Die Unchained platinum can't handle the repetetiveness of a game, you know it is unparalleled in this category. Popular Post ZitMeatloaf
#42 - Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back "The N. Credible Crash Bandicoot!" Platinum #2 from the Crash trilogy. I had never played this game before (I only ever played the first game back in the PS1 days), so it was a fun new experience. Some of the time trials were challenging, but overall not quite as difficult as the first game (my thumb got numb from slide jumps during some of my longer sessions, though). The jet pack controls felt really weird at first and took some getting used to, as I flew around like a total idiot colliding with hot pipes and nitro boxes. And the octopus-looking robot enemies can get bent, I can't tell you how many times I landed on top of one when its tentacles were absolutely, positively, 100% DOWN, but I got killed as though they were up. Screw you, octopus robots. Time for another brief platforming break before I tackle the third game.

Popular Post eigen-space
Platinum #91 - Virginia Virginia, 64.20% Rarity Difficulty - 1/10 , Time Spent - ~5 Hours , Enjoyment 7/10 Virginia is a game about an FBI detective investigating the disappearance of a young boy while also investigating her partner for internal affairs. It's basically a walking sim where you pick up objects occasionally for trophies. This game is fairly unique in that it does a lot of storytelling but has zero dialogue. Some things seem like they could have been explained better had there been dialogue, but it's actually quite interesting with the way it SHOWS instead of TELLS. Honestly, all you really need to do is be aware of what's going on in the game and you don't lose much by not having dialogue. The game's story is great... one of the best I've gone through in a while. While being a very short game, it does a lot to get you thinking. There are some surreal elements to the game as well as a bunch of symbolism throughout that'll have you thinking about the game long after it's done. Additionally, if the game leaves you feeling too confused (and, believe me, it's highly possible with the ending that it shows) you do have to play the game fully through twice for trophies, so you get a second chance to pick up on anything that you might have missed the first time around; I actually appreciated this quite a bit. Lastly, the game has an AMAZING soundtrack that works really well throughout the entire game. It was probably my favorite thing about the game. Even sitting through the credits (required for trophies) didn't seem so tedious because the music that played during it was great. If you're OK with games that don't have much action but have great stories that make you think, definitely give this game a shot!
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#277: Sherlock Holmes’ Testament This one was pretty cool. It's (from what I can tell) an original story set in the Sherlock Holmes universe, and is of course a puzzle exploration game. Maybe its because I don't play alot of these detective games, but many of the puzzles got pretty damn cerebral. So much so that I had to consult a guide for the later ones. But the real takeaway is the story itself. For my money, it does get a bit silly, and there alot of leaps in logic to make it work (your tutorial case involves an acrobatic monkey committing a robbery heist, and Holmes deduced all of this from a dead fish), but I guess that's kinda the case with Sherlock Holmes in general. It's more about the emotional investment, and there was plenty of twists and turns that kept me invested and overall glad I played it. #278: Platinum Trophy And now I have every uDraw platinum possible!!........... But.......... It's not all of them. I'll never own a full collection.........:( PS3 #279: Legendary Not much to say that i didn't for the other 2. The Awesomeness levels are a pain to grind out, but I don't regret playing this game. Easily on of the best platformers made PERIOD, and the reason I am now paying attention to Rayman in the future..... But I WILL say, that this is it right here. No playing this on the 360 like I do most other games I enjoy, I am done done DONE. #280: What an appetite! This one was a pretty cute and charming game. I've heard plenty about Asterix, but outside of skimming a few comics, I never really got into the series, and it never took off here in the states, but I do wonder why that is. It feels like Asterix could've easily blended right in with the likes of the Smurfs and Tintin; sure they aren't super huge, but people in the USA KNOW of them, so I don't know how Asterix got lost in all this. Anyways, the game! it's a PS2 action platformer with an actually pretty interesting combat system. Course, someone got it in their head that it must've been the greatest system ever, because this game loves to make you fight. And I'm serious, every other section is a closed-off mandatory fight, where starting from the beginning of the game you fight at bare minimum 50 + enemies, and the numbers only grow from there. Again, the combat is a fine in small doses, but no game, you have NO business having THIS much fighting in you. Even then, as long as you remember the crowd clearing special moves, you get by fine, and the last level was actually fun with how it switches objectives up. It's not a bad game, just..... yeah, why all the fighting?! Edited January 31, 2020 by RedRodriguez87
Popular Post CabDK
Dusting of the VR headset with Borderlands 2 VR Dificulty 3/10 Enjoyment 8/10 What an amazing experience to play this game in VR, it's does however require some persistence to get through an 80 hour game in VR. The aim mechanics works great, you aim where you look, it made critical hits very easy. Overall Borderlands 2 is fun as always, but very long for VR. And I have to mention Thumper Dificulty 6/10 Enjoyment 10/10 Although this can be played both with and without VR, I would strongly recommend playing in VR. It's so much fun, the sound colors and speed is amazing in VR. The game is also significantly easier in VR. Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum # 238 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: Fector's F***ING CHALLENGE/10 Ah, a nice calming game about farming, fishing, mining, and PURE RAGE INDUCING MINIGAME! You take over your grandfather's farm and it's....in a bit of a mess when you get it. Over ran with out of control grass, trees everywhere, rocks, and other crap. At first you can only clear out a small portion and use it for farming with seeds you buy, but as you progress you will be able to clear more out without worrying about energy as much especially when you have upgraded equipment. You have to strike a balance between smelting ore to make devices to make farming better such as sprinklers to auto water crops or scarecrows to keep crows away from your crops. you have to beat a ton of the enemies you find in both the regular 120 floor mine and the randomly generated skull mine which you'll be spending a lot of time there killing the enemies there and collecting ore. You can even date and eventually marry some of the town folk and have kids with them be it biological or adopted if it's a same gender couple. Now the list is mostly easy yet time consuming such as killing all monsters, shipping one of everything in the shipping log, shipping 15 of each crops, catching all fish, but the biggest obstacle to the platinum is a minigame called Journey Of The Prairie King. It's a twinstick shooter with 10 levels and 3 boss battles across 3 worlds. There's two trophies related to it, beating it, and beating it without dying, that's where the rage comes in. The amount of luck and skill needed is insane to not only have enough coins that drop to buy weapon upgrades but the regular weapon drops as well. Overall, it's a fun and relaxing game but the platinum is not for the faint of heart. You can play in co-op mode which is how I played with @SnowxSakura, we did pretty much everything together and is playable with up to four people. So if you have some friends that like this game, bring them along.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#131 Far Cry New Dawn New Dawn was a good game and with a solid OST. The story was a little more focused than your usual Far Cry games and I liked it more than FC5 but that doesn't say much about how I cared about the story (more on that below). The next far cry game that releases really needs a revamp of the current formula. I don't always want a main villain who we always have to hunt after for some apparent reason, I don't want your typical enemy types, the typical outposts, typical everything. Far Cry New Dawn tried to shake things up with the Pink colour palette which created a gorgeous looking game by the way and the RPG elements. However, they shouldn't use that again going forward and I want to see them change things quite a bit. That aside, the expeditions were nice but I wish they elaborated more on them versus just tracking a GPS system and running back to base. I mean.. having to do that 21 times wasn't exactly my definition of fun but it wasn't that bad either.Outposts were fun all around however. Stealthing didn't get old for me. The game was gorgeous looking as I said earlier. Here were a few of my favourite screenshots. Enjoy! Spoiler My personal favourite! As for the story, I couldn't give a single bit of Fook about the twin sisters' backstory or the 5 minute cutscene rather that plays just before Spoiler you murder the sisters. For the record you can let the older sister live but I wasn't planning on doing that. Although, I accidentally kicked her and she died . My god I was furious because I wanted to empty a full clip into her face. Needless to say I still tossed 5 molotovs and 3 remote detonators just to make sure . One thing that I still have trouble wrapping my head around was the player (me) eating a shotgun point-blank to the chest and surviving like it was nothing just because I ate Joseph's fruit which is not a euphemism! It threw me off a little because while Far Cry isn't exactly realistic they never pulled this sort of supernatural element unless you were on drugs or hallucinating on magic shrooms! But yea, seriously, are the devs expecting me to have a bit of remorse with that lame quick cutscene after she relentlessly killed lots of people? You won't get one from me! Regarding Joseph Seed Spoiler I also killed him. I did feel bad as he grew on me in this game but then I remembered that he was terrible in FC5 and hell he is responsible for the freaking nuclear bomb which probably annihilated many women and children.. In a way, he felt responsible so wanted to be "released" so I suppose I did him a favour by not letting him live and carry the pain because of his past actions. Joseph was a person I rather cared about which was the redeeming point of the story. Overall, I really liked FC New Dawn despite making it seem like I hated it. The lite RPG mechanics, the cool weapons, the colourful world and the soundtrack which had a hint of FC3's dubstep/Jamaican track were things that I enjoyed. They just have to mix it up in the next installment if they want to take the franchise a couple of steps forward. So far, I rank the FC games as followed: FC4, FC3, FC New Dawn, FC Blood Dragon, FC5, Classic, Primal. Primal was shit :P. Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Astro Bot Rescue Mission - PSVR (#307) Milestone Platinum - Trophy #9000 "Star Lord" My first platinum for PSVR and what a game! When I put the VR headset on and started up the Demo Disc 3 that came along with it, I immediately knew I wanted to try the demo for this game out. Immediately from the brightly immersive title screen, the capacity and wonder of PSVR was obvious. Looking around left, right, up and down to a beautiful space full of stars was just the beginning. Upon entrance to the first world and unleashing little Astro Bot out of the visible controller in my hands, it was evident this was a brand new experience. Learning to platform not only in a 3D world, but one that I was in the middle of. Look to the left and the world view shifts almost perfectly in cadence to track sight of the cute little robot. Crouch to look at him waving while he stands under some steps. Press forward to find I move along side him in with the wondrous capacity to keep sight of him, even when he was high above me or well below me. That first world was an amazing experience. The demo included another level and the first boss. It was a perfect and absolute delight to look for the other little Astro Bots trapped in each level, to careful peek around looking for the hidden chameleon and just enjoy the simple beauty of this game. I had to have the whole experience. I bought the full game in one of the many sales towards the end of the year and I took time to savor each level and not rush through it. Every level was fresh and new. Some introduced challenge, even though this game never peaked at a demanding difficulty. The different attachments to the controller were ingenious. The water hose, the hook shot, the ninja stars... all provided a unique variation in level traversal. Even towards the end, when I thought there could not possibly be another innovation, the search light was introduced and it was showed the developers had not shown off all of their tricks just yet. The challenges were pretty cool too, often including these attachments to make for an added nuance to a timed or scored course. Again, very enjoying if not truly tough. The claw game machine in the ship was also a neat use of the VR perspective and parading around all of the saved robots following you around the little ship was really cute and funny. This game was a huge breath of fresh air. It was a reminder that games still have room to innovate and provide a beautiful and mesmerizing experience. It was also a showcase of the capacity of the VR headset to deliver stunning surroundings while not suffering with motions or controls. The VR experience was never jarring or overwhelming. I enjoyed every second of it and was sad that it had to end. This game is a must-play for sure for any eclectic fans of video games, specially platformers. I look forward to the next game from this team.
Popular Post AccessEngage21
#124 Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Gamindustri`s Ultimate Savior Difficulty: 6/10 Fun Factor: 9/10 Rarity: 20,57% Time in Total: 1 Week, 5 Hours Ok, so here is it, the main platinum this month and what a plat that was XD. So a little history first, this game is officialy the third game of this franchise i play and beat, after the original Rebirth and MK2 (plat both of them by the way), now,. I never was a fan of the franchise in general (funny enough, i am a weeb for japanese game, especially JRPG.......but no persona), hell, even to this day, i still feel weirdnees play this game (funny for a guy who plays senran kagura for fun.........naw xD, i play it because is a musou game, no really a fanservice guy) but play this game again, after beat MK2 on the ps3, i fell really happy in general.....except for some things. So HDN, who dosent know the franchise at this point, is a RPG with free move but still in turns, i have not idea how to say the thing so sorry for that, the premise is save the CPUS ( the previous game protagonists) with their sisters, the CPUS candidates against the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime (ASIC for short) and the CFWS....thats is, i mean, i guess i shouldn't expect more of a remaster of the original MK2 in terms of story, but to be fair, i still like it, it was simple like the original but good enough for entertain. And talking about that, like i said, this game is a remaster of the PS3 original (ps3 exclusive yet XP) for the ps vita (and PS TV too) and also on PC though steam if you want to buy it there,. So like a good remaster, if you play the original is the same, but not the same, almost the same story but with two characters changes (Nisa and Gust from the original were replace with RED and Broccoli, and i dont like them......especially RED, i hate it with a passion, the movites are personals), the Remake System from the first Re;Birth is back here too (plans that allow you to gain new stages, game advantages, weapons, accesories and clothes, and others things in general, but you have to sacrifice some memory that you gain through the adventure to do it.....oh, and harvest items too.....too many ones), all the DLC from the original game (the two extra characters and the bonus dungeons), a new ending and easy way to win the other ones, and the stella dungeon.......i will rant on this later here. So Graphics wise........its was MK2 for the vita, its run almost the same as the original, funny enough, i never see something brutally graphic about this game, so i never get why has this sudden framedrops in some areas after beat certain enemies and sometimes even just by walking (ahhh....) anyway, in terms of performance, just a crash and nothing else, so at least the game works fine, but man, this companies (Idea Factory And Compile Heart) need more ambition in terms of permormance and graphics here in this franchise (hell, even the last canon game, VII and the remaster of that game VIIR, look pretty outdated in general), but well,. The music is very good at least....i mean, is the original soundtrack so of course should be solid, aside for the new opening and ending (that i liked) every score from the original is here, the voice acting is good too, obviously, both in japanese and english (i know that many of you loves the english one, but not me, japan all the way.....still, i love the english voice from neptune....that is), one thing before the gameplay, i really dislike the 2D spites in general in this game, i always like more the 3D models in the cutscenes from the original MK2, feels like more effort put it, the 2D only feel cheap in return, im glad at least that VII got some of them in general. Now the gameplay, JRPG are always tough cookies for me (Demon Gaze, Stranger Of Sword City, MeiQ, that thing NAtURAL DOCtRINE, FF Tactics, etc) and since i play and beat the original (without DLC proudly), it wasn`t that complicated, just boring for the farming in general (the obvious thing here in this franchise) this game however, i used my wallet to give me some advantages this time, and i destroy this game just like Bizzard is destroying his reputation with the new Warcraft , now without the paid dlc, the game is a more tough one, but since i beat more hardcore games before (Natural doctrine man...and FF tactics in general), i dont thing the game could give me more problems that the original did in that deparment, but one thing stands in my way.....the stella dungeon, ok, this thing is a bonus game, that works like a dungeon crawler of sorts, you send tiny stella to diferents dungeons (the ones you unlock first in the main story and the bonus ones) and she goes and do their own thing, now the issue is, without one specific DLC, is dungeon is brutal, first, once you send the little one, your luck is done, since is predetermined by the game inself, also since is a DC, you send to gain equipment, and if she dies, she loses everything, and i mean everything (the things she wins in the dungeon and his equipment, all gone), just one plan allows you to save what you gain even if you lose.........and you win it by finish the last dungeon, which i remind people here, works with real time (like the other ones), and a full clear of this map take one day and hour late.......yeah, no wonder why i paid for the DLC, without it, that part with stella, with take me months to do, just to finish every dungeon of hers ¬.¬. And thats is in general, if you play the original MK2 on the PS3, you will love this, i wish a little more polish in general (graphics more that anything else) but i suppose the pc version looks better....., if i wasn`t for the many crashes and issues this pc versions not just this game, but for the franchise in general has on pc (lazy developers indeed) even with that, the game give me the happiness that i need it, and im good with that, a game with Heart and Idea in mind.......see what i did here Before i go, here is some tips for the true belivers who want to start this game...... -First and Foremost, buy the Histy Emergency Help Pack DLC, is like $0.99 and its saves you so much problems, specially if you go for the platinum, you have a super EXP UP to unlock right on the start for better farming, but the most important benefits are the the Felis Insurance And EXPRESS, this two plans decrease the time of the stella dungeons in half and make you stay with the gain equipment you get in the dungeons, even if you lost, which make this game and minigame farming far more simplier. -Also buy one of the additional content packs for break the level cap, making the game even more easy. -if you decide to just buy the HEHP DLC, try to some of the free ones, like the emergency and trial pack for some free items and materials to create plans (including the dlc ones) and the anime collaboration especially.....why you ask, hell, they give the best weapon in the game until the share blade (spoilers here) for nepgear for free, you can actually rekt things with that sword until you second new game plus with care for some weapon to her, so yeah, pretty awesome. -Now, in terms of game in general, try first to go for the normal ending, to get that just play the game normally and beat the game, since is pretty easy to block it later if you have lily ranks with all the human friends in the game (i belive is 5 or more) try to get it out of the way first, than go for the others. -To be honest, dont waste your time farming, some of the CPUS characters since you get them too late in the game and they are a chore to unlock and most of the time you play with the basic four ones, (to get the Other CPS, get to chapter 5 and level up the shares of that nation to 50% to get each and the maker, since the maker appear in 30% you get them too) so use more the base four heroes (Nepgear, Compa, IF and RED........) and try later when you unlock more characters to experiment with them. -If you want more information for the game in general (like the endings in general), the guide here in PSNprofiles will give you more than enough to advance without issues, and for the Stella Dungeon, the steam user MakoSipper have a pretty good guide with vast explication for the minigame in general, thanks to that, i manage to get the last dungeon on my third try XP. -the only thing i can tell you about the stella dungeon in general is, try to get stones that give you HP+Lv or Critical UP, in the first level and then move on with ATK+LV and HP+LV, for more attack and health per level in general, but the most important thing is in terms of accessories, use the WARNING BELL, i cannot tell you how important this thing is, since this minigame, especially after half of the dungeons start give you purple chests instead of green ones (good ones) and the purple ones are evil, they can poison you, drop you ATK or your VIT, with the warning bell, you avoid future frustrations and have more safe travers. and that pretty much it, the next game is a lego game, and a good one in that, but for this one, really good, just wish is was more polish in general, but great game in general.
Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #53 100% #67 Assassin's Creed Syndicate I finally got around to playing this game after taking a break from trophy hunting for awhile, and I was not disappointed! Syndicate is the most recent of the old-style Assassin's Creed games, and therefore it felt much more polished than other ones such as Liberation or Unity. My favorite thing they added in this game, other than the gang wars, which were a cool idea, was the zip-line! I don't think I can ever play another Assassin's Creed game that doesn't include the zip-line, it was life changing! The only trophy that was a terrible grind was destroying 5,000 objects in a carriage, and i started driving recklessly from the moment I started playing, so it only took about twenty minutes to finish once I had everything else done. The other welcome change from Unity was no crazy collectible grind, as the only collectibles that you had to get were the two areas in the Jack the Ripper DLC. All together, this was one of my favorite Assassin's Creed games, and I really hope they make another one in this style soon!
Popular Post Justin__Harris
Platinum #70: Detroit: Become Human (PS4) Game Score: 7.5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 I had wanted to play this game for some time, but hadn't found a chance to get around to it. I enjoy narrative adventure games like this, but at the same time have always wished that Quantic Dream would develop games on the level of what they originally tried with titles such as Omikron: The Nomad Soul. They tried an open world adventure game with various fighting and shooting mechanics back in 1999, but were limited by technology and over-ambition. Could you imagine if they were able to try it again with modern engines and graphics? Because this game is damn beautiful. Anyway, since then, Quantic Dream has stuck to narrative games that don't really offer the best gameplay, but usually have an intriguing enough premise to keep one engaged. This game very much kept me invested. I did three playthroughs, with the first simply being what I felt would be the right courses of actions with the characters and I was quite satisfied with the outcomes. Then going back and playing a simply pacifist and then purely violent playthrough kept it fun to see how different actions shaped the plot lines. I had fun with this, and really liked the message of morality and consequences of actions. Sure, some of it was typical tropes, but overall the Blade Runner aesthetics and similarities to the Replicant narratives really struck a chord in me. This type of game isn't for everyone, but it is an easy platinum, so consider that. Otherwise, it might be worth checking out someone's online stream of it. DoctorGameGeek
Asdivine Hearts The trophy list does not include a platinum -- just 100% on the list. The graphics are dated. The game music gets repetitive really quickly. The combat is decent, and there are more than a few game-breaking bugs you can access if you're willing to grind. I finished the game in 56 hours. That includes grinding a bit for the ultimate weapons and armor in the Trial Tower. (Don't bother wasting your time with the other rare treasures. Save up 100 AHP and go straight there, do not pass go, do not collect $200.) Still, I have to give Kemco credit; if you like getting an old-school RPG fix, they've released a TON of titles. Some title with Patty and the Hunger God or somethin' or other got recommended to me. I think I'll try it next.
