Popular Post madbuk
#356 - BioShock Infinite It has been quite a few years now since I did this game on PS3, but I recall 1999 mode being very hard and dying a lot (even on the very first chapter with any combat) so I was dreading redoing that, but I liked the game as a whole enough to stack it (especially since I got the BioShock Collection mainly for 1 and 2, which meant I had Infinite ready to play, so why not?) This went so much more smoothly than my PS3 run did, so I guess I must've gotten a little better at FPS games over the past 5-6 years. Nifty. I think I prefer Columbia to Rapture, honestly. Seeing actual civilization was a nice change of pace and the city is beautiful, I enjoyed just walking around it exploring and looting. Handymen are more annoying than Big Daddies though. Having a travelling partner, Elizabeth, to interact with was also a nice change of pace compared to BioShock 1 and 2 where you're alone (apart from some radio calls here and there.) Having her around was also a huge help in 1999 mode, it would've been much harder without all the ammo and health pick-ups she threw at me. The story is decent, although I'm not sure I'm a fan of Elizabeth's drastic personality switch towards the end. It makes sense narratively but that doesn't stop it being pretty jarring to witness. I still need to do the DLC, which I don't really remember anything about other than Clash in the Clouds being tedious, so Burial at Sea will be interesting. Especially now that I have the added context of BioShock 1 and 2, which I didn't have when I did this on PS3 as Infinite was my first BioShock game (having actually played 1 and 2 helped me appreciate some base game stuff a little more too.)
Popular Post PreLoki
#84 - Master of Spacetime Cute, simple and short game. Really liked the mechanics. Solo experience was somewhat frustrating, as this is mainly a coop game (no online coop mode, only couch coop unfortunately), but what are you gonna do when you don't have local friends who are interested in playing this.
Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#58: Rise of the Tomb Raider Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Rarity: 7,55% I bought the 20 year celebration edition and let me say that there is a lot of content in that package. So if you have to choose to play this game on Xbox one or PS4 I would say PS4 because you can get all the content in this game for a good price. I enjoyed playing this game. It's fun to kill stuff with your bow and explore the world at your own pace. I felt that progress with new weapons and skills were much better then in the 2013 reboot. The challenge tombs were also more fun this time then in the previous game. Altough I enjoyed the 2013 version reboot better (much interesting environment and story) I would recommend this game to anyone who played the previous one. The trophies in the main story are for the most part easy, except for the kill trophies (kill 5 enemies with one poison arrow and stuff like that). I did those in the DLC. A big portion of your time will be completing every score attack challenge with a gold medal. This is basicly completing the whole game again but you score points or lose them. I did not enjoy these one at first but I felt proud when I finally got the last gold medal. And it was a lot of fun to just reign dead with unlimited poison arrows. The biggest role in this challenges to get points is with cards. You can buy this with real life money or with coins you can earn while playing the campaign or doing challenges in the score attack levels. This is a little bit luck based to get good ones like the unlimited poison arrow card (which is a major help in getting gold medals). Most of your cards are also a one time use. Luckily you can go the leaderboards and copy the cards from other players and you start with a lot of cards if you have the 20 year celebration edition. If you choose this option you can't complete challenges while playing score attack but it's a small sacrifice for making your live easier. There is also a mode where you can create like little challenge maps and upload them online and play other users ones but I haven't really touched that mode because it was not required for the platinum. Now I only need to complete 2 more DLC's for the whole 100%. Edited February 2, 2020 by TraumaticChain6

Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#122 - Star Wars Battlefront II "Platinum Trophy" Obtain all trophiesˆ My mate got me the game for Christmas last year so I could play it with our group of friends, and I'm generally quite glad that he did! This game is much better than it was at launch (though that doesn't excuse the egregious micro-transactions/loot boxes that almost single-handedly started the 'micro-transaction revolution'), and I've had quite a fun time playing it. I'll split my discussion/review thingy into 3 parts; campaign, general MP play, and trophy stuff. CAMPAIGN. Very average, bordering on bad. Especially with the good/great Star Wars: Fallen Order recently, the shortcomings of this campaign are ever more apparent. Unlikeable and bland characters? Check. Boring missions with a ridiculous number of brain-dead (yet somehow crazy accurate) AI? Check. A story that promises one thing and delivers something completely different and jarring to say the least? Check, check. A story mode that somehow manages to make playing as Luke Skywalker boring and even frustrating is a bit of a fail for me. That's not to say there aren't some good moments/missions here; some later ones are actually quite cool in terms of spectacle if nothing else. If it wasn't for the trophies though, I would have given this one a big skip. GENERAL MULTI-PLAYER. This is a lot of fun, and absolutely the main draw of the title. Think Battlefield in the Star Wars universe and you're not too far off track. The progression system is rewarding, the class variety is great, heroes are all (apart from a bit of janky-ness with lightsaber hit detection) fun to play, and the spectacle of playing some classic maps in the Star Wars universe is a big plus. Maps like Hoth look absolutely stunning too; even though some sections of some maps can be a bit on the 'meh' side, and repetition does start to set in eventually. Smaller modes are a bit hit and miss, however; with games like Blast (TDM) and smaller objective-modes often devolving into a snowball where people keep leaving... though maybe that's more a matchmaking issue than a game one (?). Starfighter assault is super 'arcade' but still fun; I'll get more into the (somewhat silly) trophy grind later. Oh, and the relatively recent addition of co-op makes for a fun way to try new stuff and level things up - especially during the rather-frequent 3x XP events at the moment! Overall, I'd say that if you've got mates to play it with, this is a very fun MP experience at the moment. I'd still say it's good fun playing solo too, but the appeal will rub off quicker for sure. TROPHIES. Yeah, this is absolutely a mixed bag haha. Campaign stuff is fine (finish story, do some easy objectives), but after that it's a bit of a slog. Fortunately, co-op works for a majority of the trophies (kills with hero, class-specific ones, levelling up overall, etc.), so it definitely makes quite a few of them easier. Most MP ones are simply 'play and win every mode', which is quite good to be honest; lets you try everything without encouraging/forcing you to play modes you don't enjoy as much. The only real trophies I have an issue with are the ones that place a severely disproportionate emphasis on Starfighter Assault. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the mode for a while, but screwing over your team to go exclusively for hero ships as the assault class - only to get the final blow stolen at the last second - is nothing but frustrating. The other 2 classes aren't quite as bad, but time investment required in this (relatively unpopulated) mode is definitely a bit of slog. The platinum rarity of 3.82% (PSNP) or 0.3% (!!! on PSN) is likely more a reflection of people getting the game at/near launch and then stopping, rather than a reflection of the true difficulty currently (especially with the addition of co-op). Not a hard trophy list really, more of a time-sink; there's nothing quite like some of the frustrating ones from Dice's first Battlefront game. So yeah, in summary: poor campaign, very fun MP, and somewhat frustrating trophies Really though, I did still have a lot of fun with Battlefront II, and would generally recommend it if you're looking for a fun MP game - especially with friends. Trophies are much easier than at launch, and the campaign - while below average - is quick enough that it's not too big of an issue. Star Wars fans in particular will find a lot to love here, but Fallen Order is the better recent Star Wars game imo. A way out is the Real Coop experience from a game, I mean you, You literally cannot play the game unless you have another player. Luckily this nice adventure includes the couch coop mode, so when one day the servers die you will play the game with no concerns. Popular Post Mapa
#370 - Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Borderland Defender Round 1.5 Unlocked all Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel trophies. My favorite feature of this game was being able to play as Claptrap. He will always be my favorite character. Maybe not the best Borderlands game, but is always fun to play it with @HailHale81, got good memories of first time we played it (this is the second time). I remember he hated that I used my power cause it was random and I wasted his ammo, or the duck power where we just bounced non stop lol. Popular Post Jamescush147
Platinum 197 True Survivor Unlock every Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition trophy. 5.58% Very Rare Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Platinum 3 years, 8 months, 1 week So I started this way back when I first got my PS4, before the time of me completing to 100% and before I did any online play. Finally thought to myself to get the missing trophies from the main game and then to finish the online section. Boy does the online suck. ? It's a ghost town! You really need help with your fellow trophy hunters to even get close to beating this today. So thank you to everyone that lent a hand for this. Also.......I hate grinding online to a stupid level just for a trophy. I'm pooped. ?
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#281: Game Night God Another game where the trophy list ruins everything. Like I said in my status update, the platinum rarity is not an indicator of difficulty, but how much of an endurance test it becomes. The games are well put together and translated from real life board to digital rules as best as possible, but only Twister is reliant on skill. The rest of time you are at the mercy of the dice, which in a video game translates to the AI. Games drag and on and on thanks to cumbersome menus and mini-games that completely halt game progress. The novelty is not worth the headache, unless you got a family that just wants a collection of board games to play on the TV. #282: Lifetime Accomplishment Award This one almost came close to FGN3, but just barely avoided it, mostly because it was the confusing nature of one trophy. The game itself is fine, and actually fun; solid game-play, nice diversity of weapons, levels that switch up the objectives to keep the main game from being boring, which it probably wouldn't be because the levels are perfectly paced and never go too long The characters are funny and charming, though as one playstationtrophies.org members pointed out, Phineas has a weird habit of ending almost every sentence with an upward inflection. The one trophy to look out for is Chiptastic, which involves a collectible that has noway of tracking progress; other than that, just follow the guides best you can, and you should be fine. Now, the game comes with 4 episodes from the show, so I decided to sit down and watch a few of them. And you know what, it I was younger and had access to the Disney channel, it really seems like something I could've gotten into. It really smacks of my kind of humor.
Popular Post Captain_Bone_666
#53 - The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series The Long Walk: Collect all Trophies I got this one on sale and took the chance to revisit Clementine's entire journey. The only game I didn't own before was the final episode, but I still loved to replay the whole series and meet Lee, Kenny, AJ and of course, darling Clementine again. In my opinion, the final episode was incredibly well done and got me stronger involved emotionally than I expected. I will not spoil it here, but I was devastated by some of the events in the second half of the last episode ... but even though I would have wished for something better for AJ and Clem, it was probably the only kind of "good" ending you can ask for in the world of The Walking Dead. After playing all of the games in one go, the whole final episode made Clementine as a character even dearer to me than she already had been. She was fighting so hard in that last episode, I really not only wanted her to be safe, but to find some kind of happiness. And by the way, even though the definitive series does not have all the trophies from the individual parts, it also does not force you to do random games (stone, paper, scissors...) or find collectibles to get the trophies. They are all unmissable, you can really focus on the story.

Popular Post Fleks_Mhteam
#261 NEUROVOIDER PLATINUIM Enjoyment: 8/10 This is the next entry in my "Games almost nobody played" series and it was a very enjoyable one. Neurovoider is a rogue like shooter similar in its mechanics to Enter the Gungeon or Nuclear Throne with light rpg mechanics on top. The gameplay is smooth as well as addictive and testing out all different guns is a lot of fun. Difficulty: 7/10 ( With save exploit ) 10/10 ( Legit ) Neurovoider is a healthy challenge and while you have the option to back up your save file after every level especially the bosses will be an issue on loop ( second ) runs and may take a LOT of retries. The reason I gave the game a 10/10 in legit difficulty is that I am not sure it is actually doable outside of theory. In loops the Rng will give bosses weapon combinations that are A: massively overpowered ( that is the lot of retries option ) or B: Downright impossible to dodge leading to instant death ( forcing you to restart a complete run ). That may also be the reason why you won't find any complete loop videos on Youtube. Time to Platinuim: ( Yes it is called like that ) 25 Hours

Anyways, Titan mode wasn't too bad, or at least as bad as when I played it on the PS3. Challenges were still just as annoying from what I remembered, but luckily only a couple challenges took a little bit of time.
Popular Post Piggie_Pie
#83 Final Fantasy Type-0 HD I have been chasing this platinum on and off since 2015. I have recently been interested in going back and finishing games that I have started long ago but never finished... this was one of them. Although I got distracted with so many games, this game is actually pretty good for a PSP port. Honestly I liked that it had grit... The opening scene shows a bloody troop dying in the street next to his chocobo. I thought this was a bold move since most Final Fantasy games don't show much in the way of gore. Don't get me wrong, it definitely lived up to the JRPG genre and stayed true to the Final Fantasy way... It just had a different feel. All-in-all, i would give this game a 7/10 simply because it was older and some of the mechanics didn't translate well to the PS4 in terms of character movement (my opinion). If I was rating this game for the PSP back in the day I would probably give it something close to a 10.

Popular Post Hanstarkiller17
Platinum #54 100% #68 Lara Croft GO Platinum #55 100% #69 Hitman GO: Definitive Edition I finally got around to playing these after picking them both up for like a dollar each during one of the many times they go on sale. They are pretty straightforward and easy platinums, and well worth spending two bucks for a couple more plats. The games themselves had a board game style, turn-based movement system, and even though I ended up using a guide for most of the challenges on each level, I tried to always play through it once first to get full enjoyment out of the game. I would definitely recommend picking up both of these titles the next time they go on sale! Now on to Watch Dogs!
