Popular Post Draps-1337
I've had a big weekend. Cleaning up a few titles on the backlog. #53 A Plague Tale: Innocence Mostly straightforward platinum if you explore. Very underrated game. this is definitely a highlight of games released last year. Highly recommend. #54 Day of the Tentacle Remastered I never finished this when I played it about 5 years back. but coming back to it, the typical visual humor I enjoy about doublefine games still makes me laugh. Pretty easy platinum if you look up the trophy descriptions. #57 PaRappa The Rapper Remastered This game was fine. until I had to get the COOL ratings on every stage. and my goodness. it was all I can say is random trial and error and with essentially no feedback made the trial error very rough. The actual cutscenes for this game are wild and even if you can watch a full playthrough on youtube (about 40 minutes) you're in for a journey. I also picked up some stacks for FullBlast & Super Weekend Mode, both games that are Rataliaka's actual games that are fun games. Popular Post Carol
#189 Without Escape (Vita) The Chosen One Unlock all other trophies #190 Habroxia (Vita) Habroxia Platinum Earn every other trophy I'm glad these sweet little games are still being released for the Vita. They gave me a chance to relax while I anxiously wait to finally be able to play TLOU 2. "Without Escape" is a point-and-click horror game. You wake up in the middle of the night with a strange noise and you now have to investigate your house and find clues, so you can figure out what's going on. Things get creepy towards the end and the story definitely ends in a weird way. This is a very easy platinum if you follow a guide, but, obviously, the game is more enjoyable and interesting if you try to figure things out for yourself. Some of the steps needed to progress may be a little hard to figure out, but most of the things aren't that bad to find, if you fully explore your environment. "Habroxia" is a very entertaining shmup. The story mode includes fifteen levels, where you fight waves of enemies and bosses. Advancing through the story will also unlock other game modes, like Invasion or Rescue. The only difficulty of this game lies on whether your ship is adequately upgraded or not. When you grind enough coins for a bit to buy some upgrades everything becomes pretty easy.

Popular Post SIick_50_
Platinum #55 - Brawlhala Difficultly - 6/10 Grind - 9/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 Very fun fighting game. The trophies do take a lot of time and some painful grind, but it really lets you practice and get good competitively at the game. Definitely more fun with friends and faster road to Plat that way too. Would recommend if you can take on a platinum that requires a small daily grind over a long period of time

Popular Post Jelly Soup
#119 - Spyro the Dragon Ah, nice to get back to clearing games again. Had this one since launch and didn't get very far in it. It's a fun game, has a nice OST. Some quarks about it that I found frustrating, lots of hidden platforming sections and Spyro never jumps as high as I think he should. There are a few points, the flight levels specifically, that are made difficult by the game auto-leveling after every move. Makes it feel like Spyro is fighting your control a bit. Other than that, had some clever out-of-the-box type platforming that was nice. Good game, do recommend.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#460- Kill la Kill: IF Don't Lose Your Way Obtained all trophies. I play a lot of games where the goal is to strip the clothes off your opponent. :/ Anyways, this was a pretty fun arena fighting game, despite some of my frustrations with getting S ranks in story mode. And dealing with my arch-nemesis, RNG, for another trophy.. But the rest of it was real easy. Survival mode is a joke now, thanks to Mako. Need to set aside some time to watch the show, I think. Bought the game, 'cause I enjoyed the demo. But haven't watched the anime. And after playing this, I really want to. Badass fights, badass music, likeable characters, and scantily clad women. Seems like a fun time to me. Platinum image: Spoiler

But after hearing that they did quite a bit of updates I decided I wanted to check it out... Then it went on sale and I grabbed it. I gotta say that No Man's Sky is quite fun. There's plenty to do and discover. I will continue playing this just to see how far I can develop my ship, base, and overall galactic influence... Then I will rule the galaxy!!! Oh, sorry... Popular Post Conor
#65 & TROPHY #3500- HEAVY RAIN (PS3) HEAVY RAIN™ Master Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 1 week, 22 hours, 38 minutes (20 hours in-game) Rarity: 2.8% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 13.28% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: All Endings- See all endings The only game I've ever played until now from Quantic Dream was Indigo Prohpecy/Fahrenheit on PS2. Sadly, a lot of my complaints from that game carry over to this one- cringey dialogue, stilted delivery, eye-rolling melodrama, annoying controls etc. There was still stuff I liked- the twist was good and the characters of Scott Shelby, Madison Paige and mostly Norman Jayden were great. Ethan warmed to me by the end but the child voices were so grating and awful, I'd have let them drown. Kidding, but still, it is clear to me that the kids were written to be much younger than they actually were because they were so stupid and the acting was bad- did they just get kids of the developers or something to read the voices? Funnily enough, I thought that the actor for Norman Jayden was copying Mark Wahlburg from The Departed and when I looked it up I found that he is an English actor and he was doing exactly that! I really don't have a lot to say about QTE: The Game only that it got a bit better as I played it but the beginning really almost put me off.

Popular Post ExistentialSolid
#186 - Bug Fables ~ Our Job's Done! ~Difficulty: 4/10 // Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Do you miss the days when Paper Mario rocked? Back when you could collect star pieces and badges and make mistakes cooking ridiculous ingredients? Moonsprout Games misses those days too so they made a kickass game: Bug Fables. Nearly everything that made the original Paper Mario and TTYD such fantastic games returns here in full force: badges (now called medals), cooking, cozy towns to explore, goofy enemy scanning banter, environmental puzzles, star pieces (now called crystal berries), a well-written story, and combat that relies on timing based minigames. But amid this nostalgic return to form, what I didn't expect was for Bug Fables to boldly reinvigorate the combat of classic Paper Mario and take it to fantastic new heights. While you could get away with nearly any badge loadout in the original Paper Mario games and spam any number of basic attacks to achieve victory, you are unable to do the same in Bug Fables without being punished for your laziness (especially so with the Hard Mode medal). Bug Fables demands that you experiment and gives you plenty of tools to do so: tons of medals (badges) to mix and match, dozens of items, an ever-growing moveset, and the new turn relay system that breathes life into an aging battle system. I spent 45 hours lost in a glorious world the likes of which I haven't been able to experience since 2004 and I LOVED every minute of it. If you fondly remember classic Paper Mario or are just looking for a fresh turn-based rpg fix, then do yourself a favor and check this game out. Popular Post Bahraini_carguy
Platinum #17: Mafia 2 (PS3) After seeing the Mafia 2 re-release on the PS4, i decided to go back to the original release on the PS3 and finish all the remaining trophies for the game. I spent 20 Hours in total for the main game and for the most part, it was pretty enjoyable. The most tedious part was the 159 wanted collectibles which was rather time consuming. While i wished if the story was a bit longer (A lot of cut and removed features/chapters...etc), the game it self was pretty good unlike Mafia 3. One more thing is that this game caused my PS3 to YLOD 4 times so i fear that my PS3 might be dead soon. :/ I had yet to do the two DLC's but i might do it later. Popular Post MrGarland
Before I start, it should be mentioned that I achieved these platinums some time ago, but couldn't post this any earlier. I've been busy with some stuff. With all that being said, let's get this done. Platinum #81 Difficulty: 2/10, DLC: depends on the mission, but my personal rating is between 3/10 and 10/10* Playtime: 30+ hours Enjoyment: 10/10 * DLC is not required for trophies nor does it have any new trophies, but it's worth it (in my opinion at least). Spoiler In my previous platinum post, I mentioned how I would reward myself after the platinums I got in that post. The reward, is none other than this game. Also, since the events of the anime are still fresh in my memory, I might as well play this. And so I did. As I've mentioned before, I usually don't play games based on the anime/manga, but I make exceptions at times. As for this, I bought the game a long time ago. Ever since that, I've been looking forward to play it. When I finally did, I was in joy. Simply put, I loved every moment of it. Well, with exceptions, but I'll get to that later. I'll be covering the game quite a lot, as the journey to platinum was very pleasant, just like how the anime was enjoyable. Let's get started, shall we? First, there's the Story Mode. Reliving the moments of the movie was fun, even though it was very easy for me. My favorite scene in the movie was without a doubt the BT-42 scene (which is known as Story Battle 11# - Assault on Karl-Gerät) in the game. After clearing the story, it was time to move on the next part: the Domination Battle. Seeing what each school's reward for victory was a lot of fun. For this one, I think St. Gloriana's ending was my favorite. Darjeeling wasn't quite pleased with the reward they got. Reward-wise, I'd say Kuromorimine had the best reward. However, I won't spoil anything. Again, it was easy, but fun. Actually, I only had a hard time with Jatkosota High School, since i had to face Kuromorimine in an Annihilation Battle. I had to restart, so I would have an easier time. Then comes the Extra Match, where I spent most of the time. I don't know if it was just me, but I found these missions way too easy as I managed to complete them on my first attempt. The DLC missions however... Well, you'll see. I'm only going to cover a few of them. Mainly because if there's something worth mentioning. Spoiler Carro Festival (all difficulties): I honestly found this mission pretty amusing. Although I managed to clear it on my first attempt, I did get a little reckless which could've lead to a failure. Also, I'd say this mission is the best way to increase Player Rank. The Victor's Strength is also good, but it didn't work for me. It also got boring after a while. You can also grind a lot of points in Maus Mayhem with a certain strategy, but that's pretty hard to pull off. I tried, but couldn't do it. This mission however, is the quickest way to do so. It takes about 3-5 minutes to complete, and you can earn points faster than wasting 15 minutes on The Victor's Strength, depending how well you perform. Here's how I usually do it: once the mission begins, I usually command my allies to defend the starting point. Once that's done, I head somewhere to the center of the stage. This way, the opponents will mostly focus on me. Since they act randomly, the amount of points earned varies, but I usually net about 15k-20k points or more. Here's my personal best. I really have no idea how I even managed to get this much. Katyusha will purge you!! (Extreme): Not too hard, but I'm honestly surprised how much damage the opponents can cause. Not only that, but they're pretty good at destroying treads. I take it happens to everyone? If you're lucky enough, that won't happen. Rosehip's Secret Special Training (Extreme): This is considered as the hardest non-DLC mission in the game, but you know what's funny? I did this on Extreme first, but that's only because I wasn't paying attention to the difficulty level. I also didn't check the route before I did this. I swear that much. As a result, I had to do this without knowing the route. So how was it? The Crusader is not the easiest tank to control in the game. In fact, it's probably the hardest one, due to its odd controls. Despite this, I managed to complete on my first attempt, with 4 seconds to spare. It could've been at least 12 seconds or so if I hadn't done that stupid mistake at those stairs where I flipped the tank, but I couldn't bother to redo it. Spoiler DLC Extra Match: With DLCs installed comes new missions, as well as tanks, colors, decals and even a new game mode. If the game's missions were easy, these missions are more challenging, but there are a couple of easy ones as well. Again, I won't cover them all. Only the ones I had the most trouble or that are worth mentioning. Found you ~ (all difficulties): Worst mission, in terms of an AI. The amount of opponents varies by difficulty, which is as follows: one CV33 (Normal), four Crusaders (Hard) and five CV33s (Extreme). The main thing shared is that there's always one opponent in front of you, but they always drive away and they almost never attack you. Not only that, but they go after your ally. It's a simple mission, nonetheless. It's also a good stage to farm BOCOs since there are a lot of them, in case you're still missing decals/colors, though the time limit is short. An inch away from the cliff's edge (Extreme): If you thought Rosehip's Secret Special Training was hard, better think again. This is pretty much the same mission, though this is harder. Not only that, but you're ascending the cliff, which increases the difficulty a bit. Unlike the one mentioned, I needed a few attempts before I managed to complete this. I had to learn the route and when I did, clear it as fast as possible. It's not too hard, but there's no room for errors. Also, falling off from the cliff results in an instant loss, so there's that too. Perfect Encirclement (Extreme): The difficulty for this mission varies, but the mission on Extreme is hard for a few reasons. First, the tank you're using is KV-2, which is slower than the ones used on other difficulties. Second, Nonna is right behind you from your starting point, well as Katyusha on your right. However, only Nonna will most likely hit you, but not destroy you. Finally, the goal is placed on a different spot which caused me some confusion on one of my (almost) succesful attempts. There is one thing that can make this mission easier: the Support Card that releases a smoke trail, making it harder for opponents to hit you. You get a total of seven of them, and you have to use them wisely, or else you're going to have a hard time. In total, it took me close to 10 attempts before I finally made it. Not too hard, but it can be unfair for first timers. This wall is like a mont-blanc. (all difficulties): The objective is to navigate through the castle. Nothing too special, except that there are few Maus's placed here and there. However, they never managed to hit me. Still, it's possible to take a hit. You can take at least one hit before you're done. I did some test runs after completing this. If you can predict when they're going to shoot as well as when to use Panzer High, you're good. You can also use Marie's Tank Commander Skill, which restores the tank's durability. Your choice. The worst part in this mission is the end. You have to drive through a pipe to reach the goal. When I first did it, I fell off from it near the goal. You are allowed to fall from it there, but fall anywhere else, and it's back to start. Thankfully, later attempts went much better as I didn't fall from it. Also, the time limit on Extreme is tight, so your run has to be nearly perfect. Oarai's Training (Extreme): I didn't have any trouble with this mission on Normal and Hard, but what about Extreme? I only have one thing to say: F***. This. Why? This is the hardest mission in the game, but for wrong reasons. Here's why: It's 4 vs 5. Overpowered opponents. The allies are destroyed almost instantly, unless you command them other way. The tank you're controlling is Mark IV, and it's terrible. It's slow, it's weak and shooting with it is the worst. After failing more than enough times, I decided to check out any possible strategies. I've seen two different ways to do it. I can say that they work, but they're still heavily luck reliant whenever you succeed or not. At the moment, this is currently the only mission I haven't completed. As a completionist, it hurts, but I'll conquer it someday. Not anytime soon, as this mission has tested my patience. The power of the Type 10 (all difficulties): One of the two Ami Chono missions, this is the easier one as the tank used in this mission is the one mentioned. However, because it's not a WWII tank or older, it's not allowed to participate. It's still playable, although not in online matches. Anyway, it's very easy as the opponents only take 1-2 hits. But don't go thinking that Type 10 is invincible. Should it take a hit from behind, it means trouble. The Panzer IV will ALWAYS try to sneak behind you. That's against regulations! (all difficulties): Not very hard, but given that you're facing the Type 10, you have to play it safe. Or you can sit back and do nothing. The opponent just stands there, waiting for you to make a move, or destroying your allies. At least they're smart enough in here. So smart that they can actually 1-shot the opponent if they get behind it which happens sometimes. Cool. Team Shark Trains! (Extreme): Overpowered opponents strike again! This is another mission where luck, skill and patience is tested. Your allies are once again destroyed almost instantly, no matter what command you give them. After several failures, I found that if you go to the left at the start, you can sneak up on your opponents. It's luck based, but if you manage to do so, good. Also, taking out that Porsche Tiger ASAP is a must since that one hits way too hard. The only good thing I have to say about this mission is that there are equal amount of tanks on both sides, contrary to Oarai's Training, which is 4 vs 5. Oh, and no Mark IV in this mission. Thank God. Otherwise, this mission could've been a nightmare. Seriously, what were they thinking? You two, work together. (Extreme): If you've seen the anime, then you should know what tanks are the characters from BC Freedom using. Simply put, this mission was the first frustrating one. Taking out the ARL 44 wasn't too bad, once I learned how. The Somua S35, however, was an absolute pain to take out. Unlike the other one, this one seems to be much smarter. It also hits hard. Took me about 20 good attempts before I finally made it. Finale (all difficulties): This is it, the final showdown between all school commanders. Or rather, it's Miho vs every commander in a 1 vs 1 battle. The order is always the same (Darjeeling, Kay, Anchovy, Katyusha, Maho, Kinuyo, Mika, Alice and Marie). This is without a doubt the hardest, but also one of the best missions in the game. Regardless of the difficulty, the opponent shows no mercy. And no, I didn't manage to do this on my first attempt. Took me some time, but it feels good when you succeed at something like this. Facing against all of them might seem tough, but you're given one Support Card that restores the tank's durability. I usually used after I faced Maho, as she's one of the toughest ones. You can also charge your Active Gauge before you face your next opponent. They only appear when you go to the checkpoint, so you can take your time. Well, almost. You're given 15 minutes to complete the mission. It's enough, but if you take too long, it's game over. In other words, you have to defeat your opponents as quickly as possible while playing safe. I never ran out of time, but it was close enough. This mission also has some strangeness going on, but in a good way. It's not guaranteed, but there's a chance that your opponent can get stuck on their starting point, allowing you to deal some damage or destroy them. It usually happens to Darjeeling or Maho. If it does, you're in luck. That makes the mission easier, since those two are the hardest ones to take out. And that's pretty much it. In case I wasn't clear enough, I had a really fun time with this. While there are many platinums I enjoyed collecting, this is without a doubt my favorite platinum. It did involve some grinding, but it wasn't that bad. Quite the opposite, if I say so. This is not the end, though. I also happen to own the game on Nintendo Switch, which I'll try to play regularly. It's pretty much the same game, but it has some minor changes (some of the special decals are removed and changed to different, Switch-exclusive ones, for example). Even though I have to do everything again, I don't mind it at all, since I know the game well enough. I'm also going to get my Player Rank to 99 (which I'm almost done on the PS4 version). Finally, I'm also playing online matches every once in a while with a group of good, yet friendly players. Every one has so much fun, no matter who wins and who loses. With the platinum done, I can finally say the famous words: Panzer Vor! I'm also putting a platinum screenshot as a bonus. Spoiler PS. Mika is the best girl. Platinum #82 Difficulty: 4.5/10 (6/10 or higher without Mako) Playtime: 20+ hours Enjoyment: 7/10 Spoiler I bought the game when it first came out. While I did make some decent progress, there was one thing that stopped for a while. I'll cover it in a moment. The Story Mode was pretty simple. Getting an S-rank on story chapters on the other hand, was a bit tedious, but not too troublesome. I actually managed to get most of them after a couple of tries, while some of them I got on my first attempt. Only a few were actually pretty hard, the hardest one being Chapter 1 of Ryuko's Story where you face all members of The Elite Four in one go. It was a bit luck based, but I eventually made it. Then there's the Survival mode. The first time I tried was when the game first came out. No matter what, I just couldn't do it. My personal best was 17 battles as Dual-Wield Satsuki, and I'm glad that I even got that far. With that being said, this was the reason why I had to put the game on hold until a trophy guide would come. When it did, I resumed it. I'd say the wait was worth it, since I learned new things. Mako makes completing the Survival mode easy. Something that's unique to her is that the opponents are either No-Star or One-Star when playing as her. It's possible that all her opponents are No-Stars, but I never had such luck. One-Stars usually appeared after the first 20-30 opponents or so. In total, it took me four tries before I made it. Two of them ended up pretty close, while one of them ended on the 3rd battle. I had to face Shinra Kouketsu Ragyo, and despite that she was a No-Star, she unleashed her SEN-I-SOSHITSU, which resulted in an instant KO. Talk about bad luck. For every other attempt, it was always Gamagoori, who stood in my way. He's a cool guy, but defeating him wasn't so easy. But in the end, I made it. The Cover challenge was another mode I first tried, but I didn't succeed. Just like the Survival, I gave up since I couldn't make much progress. Little did I know that there's an easy way to beat it. Simply put, using Nonon and spamming her certain moves makes this mode a cakewalk. Simple as that. Not much else to say about this. Good game, but lacks enough content. I might as well watch the anime again, since it has been so long I last watched it. Maybe this time I'll watch it dubbed. I've heard some comments somewhere saying it's good. We'll see what happens. Platinum #83 Difficulty: 1/10 Playtime: 7 hours Enjoyment: 8/10 Spoiler I decided to do another bonus platinum after all that hard work I've done lately. Rhythm games are not my specialty, but I decided to check this out after seeing the guide. This is one of the easiest platinum I've done. I also wanted to see how quickly I could platinum this. It took me seven hours to do so. I could've done it in five, but there's one reason. It repeats itself after a while, so I had to take a break. As for the game itself, it's pretty good. Music is also great. Not much else to say. I'm planning to unlock everything in the future, even though it might not make any difference. And that's all there's to say. I'm currently wrapping up the platinums I've been working for a while. All I can say about them, they've been (mostly) fun. Popular Post flashpool23
Plat 142 - Wolfenstein: The Old Blood According to this, I'm The Old Blood master and I'm not one to complain about that! Challenges to get gold were challenging but nothing some tries made impossible. Uber difficulty was surprisingly easier than in The New Order which surprised me because I found the boss harder during my initial playthrough. The story was pretty well done for a prequel and doesn't overstay its time. It sets up the New Order quite well while you can play this before that one, I recommend New Order first still. Either way, both games have done their part in making me a fan of the Wolfenstein series. I recommend this game too.
