Popular Post snakebit10
#197 Bully I am one of probably the few who didn't get to play this in the PS2 era. I am glad for the PS2 to PS4 emulation. I started it a couple months back and came back to it recently to finish up. I really like the game and thought it was fun. It really isn't a hard plat but does require little bit of grinding. Thankfully it wasn't to many collectibles in the game. If you are a fan of Rock Star games and haven't played Bully I recommend it. Here is to hoping for a sequel.
Popular Post straysheep87
#163 - Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations (PS4) Funny point and click game, it looks like a Telltale game. Only advice: play each case in one sittin', the game may glitch (like it did to me) resulting in a gamebreaking that blocks the story progression, forcing you to start from the scratch. But it's a fun game, highly recommended specially if you are a fan of the series. Edited November 14, 2016 by straysheep87
Popular Post 30 Year Old Boomer
Platinum #47- Hitman: Absolution PS3. Rating: 9/10. It's been nearly a month since I obtained a platinum, but I'm back! Feels good to obtain a new plat! First of all, I've never played a Hitman game prior to Absolution but I've always wanted to try out the games. I decided to do Absolution as my 47th platinum, since it was the Hitman game I've always wanted to play the most. (Got the HD trilogy in my backlog, but not sure if I'll play them anytime soon.) And didn't want to do GO since I wouldn't consider it to be a main core Hitman game, although I may get it later on. Anyways, I started Hitman: Absolution as soon as I got it last Thursday and I've got to say it was a great decision I made buying this game. I liked a lot about the game, there's a lot of positive stuff to say about it. First of all, the gameplay was probably one of my favorite aspects of the game, it was pretty solid and I loved the multiple ways you could take out enemies. The stealth in the game was pretty fun to play as, I loved when I finally got through a section using stealth, felt really good, haha. My favorite weapons were fiber wire, katana, and the Viking axe, I definitely enjoyed using them. Although I also liked using guns in game, especially Agent 47's signature Silverballers, as they had silencers on them which was pretty helpful to me in a lot of situations. The story and characters were also good enough to me, I liked Agent 47 a lot. He's a badass hitman, I definitely thought he was an interesting character. I also thought Birdie was an interesting guy, liked seeing him on screen whenever he appeared. Story was good to me in my opinion, I liked it well enough, nothing bad to say about it. The villains as well were pretty interesting in my opinion. Also, the graphics are really good, I liked them a lot. It's definitely a good looking game, even after nearly 4 years, which is pretty good. Trophy-wise, I'd give this a 5/10 in terms of the difficulty of the platinum. It was a pretty fun platinum, the challenges and the playstyles were probably the hardest to do for me. Especially some of the playstyles made me do it quite a few times before it registered. Beating Hitman on any professional difficulty wasn't too bad, did it on hard from the beginning and got to say, it was a really fun experience. I also liked how when I went back to level select, I could do levels on normal with way better results than on hard, haha. I also planned to platinum Absolution in 3 days which was my plan, I ended up doing so, although I could have done it faster if I didn't take breaks. I'm still glad with my platinum time anyways, pretty good for a newcomer. I also intentionally did this as my 47th platinum, really glad I stuck through with my plan as it's an awesome personal milestone that I planned to accomplish. Pretty awesome game to make the 47th platinum as well! Overall, I had a great time with Absolution and would definitely recommend it to anyone who's into stealth games or Hitman, it's worth the time to pick up and play it. Popular Post kkchan0323
#35 艦これ改 (Kancolle Kai) - vita While the rarity isn't lower than Toukiden (only low collectible drop rate), this game is definitely my hardest game to platinum so far. Lots of grinds for levels, equipments, ships Required to clear at highest difficulty If you don't have any rollback save game, you may have to restart anything over. Random application crash (at times like: when you just wipe out enemy fleet, when the game is loading the save interface - Luckily my saves isn't broken or something) Have to close and reopen the application when you need to reload a game save whenever something not desired catches you Little information you can dig even you know Japanese (Compared to web version) Maybe not as popular as the web version, but for me (Not played web version before - probably won't in anytime soon because the IP lock and stuff), the girls and the game is as lovely as Touhou Project and Vocaloid. Difficulty: 7/10 Excitement: 7/10 Edited November 15, 2016 by kkchan0323
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #93 - World of Final Fantasy True GrymoirianObtained every trophy. Took about 5-6 hours of just grinding to get the rest of the masteries needed for the last trophy, not too bad but I was really tiring of it by the end [didn't do it all in one sitting, so it was just 3 hours today]. So I'm glad it's done. Not too bad of a platinum, I play pretty slowly so it was 84 hours for me. But, I really play slowly and talked to all the NPCs, and traveled back after major plot points to every town and talked to everyone again too. And I probably should have set up my shortcuts way before the final grinding, because that was super handy and saved lots of time. Oh well, hindsight and all that.Great game, really really loved it. Haven't really gotten many JRPG platinums so it feels good to add another one finally. And it's been 4 weeks since my last platinum. But like I've been saying in the "Post the last tyrophy you earned" thread, it really annoys me that the trophy icons are just recolors of the same 'badge'. The game has a lot of great designs and art, and a lot of trophies are related to specific characters and mirages that they could have used for the trophy icons instead of reusing the same one over and over and over. It's such a missed opportunity.I really hope they make more like this, but the game doesn't seem like it's doing that well which is a shame. I really enjoyed it, and with some quality of life improvements would be pretty much flawless for me. Popular Post RedRodriguez87
This Pattern Is Mine So, my very first walking sim. Overall, I love what it gets right (the world, the air of mystery, the atmospheric gloom and doom), but I can't see myself playing it again due to its primary fault; walking being your only real form of movement. I mean, it's quite possible to take in all the wonderful details and enjoy the story at a faster speed. Am I glad I played it? .....Kinda.

NEV
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Platinum #75 After almost 6 years I picked it up again, cause it's been way too long in my list. I know that the ultimate version is supposed to be tougher but boy this platinum was hard! Finishing 320 trials was not a piece of cake and completing all these mission took me ca. 3 weeks. But finally I made it and got another ultra rare platinum Do you played with a fight stick?
Gommes_
Do you played with a fight stick? No but with the "Hori Fighting Commander". I imported it from Japan. But in all honesty it is totally possible with the regular controller. The buttons on the Fighting Commander are just a little bigger and the l1 and r1 buttons are on the front, that's it. Still I was holding the controller in my hand and didn't place it on the ground as many do. Edited November 15, 2016 by Gommes_

Popular Post Makilio
#42: Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God Honestly one of the worst games I've ever played, along with one of the easiest. The amount of hand-holding (in a roguelike of all genres) is sickening. The story and music aren't even that great either. I feel like I need to go play Shiren or Guided Fate to cleanse my spirit and rekindle my love for roguelikes. Oh well, at least I can finally delete it off my Vita.
Lars
#79: Putty Squad (PS3) Another day, another easy platinum. I had to get used to the controls for a while because i'm not good at all when it comes to platform games. I actually quiet enjoyed although i know this is regarded by some as one of the worst games on the system. That is probably because i haven't played a lot of platform games, so my standards are pretty low. The game is pretty easy but i do understand that people don't want to play through this because it is a very old game with old controls and mechanics. Al together you almost have to play every level twice, because it is difficult to get the "no food" and "no hearts lost" in the same playthrough. Popular Post Masamune
The Legend BeginsCollect all trophies. I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would at first (thanks again for doing the giveaway, soultaker655). The beginning of the game was pretty easy, then it started getting a little tedious around difficulty 6, it was getting to where I was just mashing the attack button for 5-10 minutes a mission. Eventually I picked-up an ability called Trigger Happy & decided to try it with my neglected shotgun I've been toting around... from there it was a piece of cake, I even started changing my physical oriented skills to gun/oracle based ones. That's definitely the way to go, by the end I had could blast numerous shells into an enemy, then refill almost all of my oracle with a single devour (using Cornix style), spending only a few minutes on each mission. Here's my final character setup: Platinum Screenshot: Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Time Played: 71:30:51 Edited November 15, 2016 by Masamune
Popular Post Cave Johnson
Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland All Trophies Earned Obtain all trophies. This is probably the hardest Atelier platinum, mostly because of the Makina Domain. The extra bosses are even worse than Ayesha Plus, since you have to fight all five of them in a row. If you leave the dungeon, they will always respawn. I managed to do it by piecing together several different ultimate equipment and item guides, and by figuring out some of it on my own. It was actually kind of fun, and made me appreciate the alchemy system more. I like the dusk games more overall, but my favorite alchemy system is the one in Rorona and Meruru Plus. Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #119: Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors (VITA) Enjoyed it, just as much as the first one.The story is almost the same, preferred this cast over the previous, battle system is a bit tweaked for the better. Like that the Teacher has more impact in battle by his motivation skill. Had no trouble other than the final boss forcing me to buy groups remedy...and I hated that the boss kept on coming from the brink ( team stunned, revives stupid puppet/arm....revives 3000 hp to all and or regen). After 3-4 level ups, and adjusting starting members ( melee characters first to fry the arms). You need to grind for this game...even on easy. Hoping they continue this type of game.
