Popular Post JaM
#287 Grand KingdomHero of Resonail Congratulations on getting all the trophies! Well, I was kinda hoping of making my team of Suikoden characters but I just got attached to these 4. Wow, it has been a while since I have platted a PS+ IGC game. And well, I now have a new rarest plat. Thanks PS+ IGC I guess. This game is sitting in my download list for a year now. I haven't played it before because I thought this game is SRPG like Disgaea. Well, sort of but the gameplay is quite addicting. The game become repetitive at some point but I dunno why, I just enjoyed playing it for hours daily. The grind and RNG is quite awful though, it took me a loooong time to get Short Sight and Weapon Crush. Unfortunately this also means that I only have 1 perfect glass canon because the scroll farming is not really fun. Kinda bummed though that the best way to grind exp and money in the game is to play online. But still, fun game and and not really tough plat. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone. Popular Post Venocide
Platinum 180: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (PS3) A perfect Storm Master. You've acquired all trophies. After multiple crashes when I was cleaning up the rest of the titles I finally got the plat. Bit worried at the end, it kept giving me a white screen after every battle. Knocked the PS3 off for an hour and it was fine. Feels good to finally get the platinum, I never did get all the achievements on the 360 version because of the 50 ranked wins title, then when I switched over to trophy hunting in 2013 I started this game, but moved on to something else because.. well I still wasn't getting anywhere near 50 online wins lol now that the servers are dead it was much easier to boost the wins. The game isn't that hard to platinum but it is very grindy, especially playing each character 30 times but there is a quicker way to achieve that, still takes a while though. Now that that's out of the way, I can start playing Trails of Cold Steel
StraightVege
I've been using a free trial of PlayStation Now to blast through some short games; these are the only ones with platinums thus far: You Can't Scare Me! #190 - Goosebumps: The Game I obsessively read and collected the Goosebumps novels as a kid, so it was fun recognizing all of the characters and references in this game—very nostalgic. I really liked the art, and the soundtrack, too. I would've preferred it to have multiple endings, though. Otherwise, this is a simple point-and-click adventure, that's finished in about an hour, and was quite pleasant to play. It would probably be appropriate for children, or people new to the genre. Platinum #191 - Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink Another short point-and-click, over in around 90 minutes. Most of the puzzles are very easy, with many of them being on their own, self-contained screens. However, it has way too many braindead, arbitrary "find the list of hidden objects" puzzles. Guess they ran out of ideas, and had to fill gameplay time somehow. I was amused by how bad some of the voice acting sounds, too—like it was recorded on a cheap mic in the actor's bedroom. The game started off relaxing, but by the end, I couldn't wait for it to be over. The repetitive HOG puzzles become a real drag, and make the game seem longer than it actually is. Platinum #192 - Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek A title by the same developers as Clockwork Tales, and almost identical to it, except this one focuses on the annoying hidden object puzzles. Apparently, this is an established sub-genre of adventure games, which I was unaware of. Personally, I can't stand them—searching through endless piles of junk for random, meaningless objects is terribly repetitive and mind-numbing. I honestly don't see how anyone over the age of ten finds these puzzles interesting. They're made worse by the game having you backtrack to the same junk heaps over and over again for different key items, and sometimes it doesn't even register when you click on a correct item, resulting in confusion and wasted time. At least it's over quickly (about two hours). I hope I never play one of these again, and I think I've had my fill of point-and-click games in general for a while. Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #47: Crash Bandicoot: Warped Just popped this platinum, had a lot of fun with it. I was fearing it, because it was hard when I first played it, but with proper dedication it was all right. Had a rough time with the High Time gold relic run though. ? I'm trying to get my complete % higher, so I'm playing my old games again and really enjoying myself. Started with this one, because I read this is was the easiest of the three remasters. I will try Crash 2 later, first another game for the variety. Next up: I'm thinking about Ghost Recon Wildlands (again lol).
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 105 Mortal Kombat 11 (PS4) Elder God Komplete all trophies It's not very often I earn the platinum in a game that is still relatively new for everyone, let alone a fighting game and let alone one from NetherRealm studios. Just shows how easy this platinum is, I would say it's about as easy as Tekken 7 honestly. I'm a massive Mortal Kombat fan, particularly the first live-action movie, which was one of my favourite movies growing up, so I had to pick this up as soon as it came out, and for the most part, it was absolutely worth it. As a fighting game, it is very good. Graphics are awesome, the gameplay is the best in the series so far, the audio is good and fits the game and the fatalities are the best/funniest/goriest yet. As for the character roster, well, they couldn't please everyone, but I think overall it's pretty good. Will definitely be checking out the DLC characters once they are released, shame you have to pay for them. As for negatives, it is the grindiest fighting game I've ever come across, even if the Krypt itself is really well done. Even after spending nearly all the currency I had post-platinum, as far as i can tell, the Krypt is like half finished, if that, which is mental. Overall though, if you like fighting games or been a MK fan in the past, I definitely recommend picking it up. Very good. Popular Post madbuk
#314 - Pic-a-Pix Pieces I love picross puzzles, and I liked the first Pic-a-Pix game, but this one dragged on a bit. There were a lot of puzzles in this one - which is good, 36 hours of content for roughly £3 is a bargain, but it got very tiring once you reached the 20x20 puzzles which each took 5-20 minutes each. One of the 20x20 puzzles even seems to be impossible without guesswork, which is very disappointing in a picross game, but maybe I'm mistaken. I've posted an image of the seemingly impossible puzzle so maybe someone will show me what I was missing in the future. I don't know if I'm going to bother with Pic-a-Pix Classic. Maybe in the distant future but for now I'm not going to bother, 2 of these was enough for me. I'll stick to playing other picross games occasionally on mobile instead.
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #268 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 10:58 For the third and final time, it's the worst "proper" AC (discounting the Chronicles and post-Syndicate games that don't even feel like the same series anymore). Solid spot of Creedin', as always. Quick and painless... though more for me than the hundreds of faceless meatbags I had to cut my way through. Skipped any cutscene I could as the story is bland and anemic even by the series' weighted average. Still don't miss the online "gameplay" or the grindy trophies from the Vita version one bit. Now, all I have left to achieve "full synchronization" with the AC series as a trophy goal is Odyssey (whose season pass is the very reason I even have the AC3 and ACL remasters) which I pray is at the very least an improvement on Origins, even if the series has pretty much already jumped the shark. It'll take some time and I don't have room in my schedule for it quite yet. We shall see.
Popular Post TenebraZero
#32 The legend of heroes Trails of cold steel Cold Steel Conqueror Mastered Trails of Cold Steel and earned every trophy. Game 8.5 Difficulty 4 Time to plat 100hours One of my favourite JRPG of the past generation, I have platted on old account and platted again on my new account and i have enjoyed every minute. This time on PS4 but the graphic boost(4K and 60fps) is non existent respect the ps3 version. I have enjoyed the 4x speed though. Musics and BS are top like most of the other games developed by Nihon Falcom. I can't wait June to play the 2nd and this fall to continue the saga with the release of the 3rd chapter. #33 Ragnarok Odyssey ACE Platinum Trophy Acquired all trophies. Game 7,5 Difficulty 8,5 Time to plat 108 hours Here we are, this one is probably the hardest platinum on my profile. This is a decent game but it's hard and grindy as hell. Doing this solo is pretty much impossible, some boss or boss rushes are very hard with monsters that kill you in 1 or 2 hit ; the first thing to do is to find 3 other good players (fortunately i have 3 friends) doing a decent build set (2 warriors, 1 mage and 1 priest to cure and buff the party are highly raccomended) and start grinding materials to power up weapons and collect monster cards (dropped by monsters) to increase strenght, defense and varius ability. Unfortunately there is no level up progression, the only way to become stronger is to find new weapons or monster cards but the drop rate is very low(for the most low than 1%) so prepare to grind the same battles over and over. By my account i had on my party a veteran of this game and thanks to that i had cutted a lot of time, if you are playing the game with other friends of the same levels or if you're not import the cards from the previous game prepare to grind for more than 200 hours. I really laugh when i see some completion time of 2 or 3 days(someone completed the game within 18 hours ) For anyone who want to start this game and follow the trophy guide on this site, add 1 or 2 point to estimate difficulty, if u are tryng to do solo it's probably a 10/10, that's beacause some of the most powerful card were nerfed with latest patch making this platinum a lot harder.
Popular Post Conor
#30- KINGDOM HEARTS III (PS4) KINGDOM HEARTS III Complete Master Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 3 Months, 2 Weeks, 17 Hours (72 hours in-game) Rarity: 3.2% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 25.00% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Thermosphere (Gold)- Destroy the Schwarzgeist, menace of the Ocean Between May your heart be your guiding key... When I got my PS3 and first embarked upon my trophy hunting adventure, I had one immediate goal: obtain every single Kingdom Hearts platinum trophy before Kingdom Hearts III came out. With a day to spare, I popped Dream Drop Distance and achieved that goal. The day came and I enjoyed every minute of my new quest with Sora, Donald and Goofy. Now I have every plat and 100% in the Kingdom Hearts series. The game is nothing short of excellent. It is one of the best-looking games I have ever played and the gameplay is phenomenal. The story always took a backseat in the series and this one was no worse than many of the others. It gave me everything I wanted and more. I don't know how anybody could have played this to the end and think it was bad. Not the best, but certainly nowhere near bad. The worlds were more vibrant and alive than any game in the series to date. It's crazy how amazing the environments looked and the game doesn't even have HDR functionality! Many awesome moments and boss fights to be had here as well as some emotional moments and satisfying wrapping up of plot threads. Something I see many people complaining about is that it doesn't conclude the first two numbered games very well. It was never meant to. In fact, this game is the culmination of the series' spin offs, and it rounds those off very well. As seen in the ending and secret movie, this isn't an ending at all, but rather just another piece in the bigger puzzle that is the Kingdom Hearts series. I've been a fan for over a decade and will be first in line to buy and play more when the time comes! The plat itself took me quite a while so people complaining that it is "too short" must have only played the story on easy mode, which in itself still took me 25+ hours so it is certainly not shorter than the other games. Okay, so the side content wasn't as engaging as other games (no Olympus Coliseum? What were they thinking?!) but there was still plenty to do. My only major gripe is the fact that given all the work it takes to craft the Ultima Weapon, there's almost nothing to use it on once you've acquired it! The "secret" boss is a cakewalk with this keyblade and the formchange. Speaking of which, I loved the new combat mechanics, changing Keyblades in battle and the various forms you can take. Sure, there's no dual wielding or reaction commands but what replaces them keeps things fresh. The only thing I didn't like were the Attraction commands- they felt very out of place but it's a minor complaint. There's also not really a whole lot of challenge as all of these abilities make Sora a tad overpowered despite the fact that he's supposed to have been severely nerfed due to the events of Dream Drop Distance- serious bit of ludonarrative dissonance, what? The Gummi Ship sections are the best yet, with a lot of explorations and collectibles as well as some great battles, especially the fight against Schwarzgeist from the old Square PS1 game Einhander that not a lot of Europeans got to play! All in all, I really liked Kingdom Hearts III and I look forward to the DLC. Now to continue on my quest to Platinum #100... Popular Post Ala-Arska
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS Vita) Extraordinary Adventurer Proof that you read the entirety of "Travelogue of the Gaete Sea" by Adol Christin Blue is the warmest color. Did you know that "Lacrimosa" means "weeping"? Me neither. So, second time Platting this indeed extraordinary game, now on handheld form. And only a little bit of fatigue from doing both back-to-back (ish). As marvelous an experience it still was, I have to say Vita's version does pale in comparison to it's PS4 big brother. First of, there's longer loading times. Roughly 8 seconds per load, but it adds up after hundreds of times No extra dungeons or particular items, meaning less content overall. And less fishing, grrrr (I loved the fishing here) Dana's sequences has Dana's level set for 60. That translates to one or two challenging dinosaur fights, but that's what reflexes are for Few longer side missions are absent, too, but I didn't like them that much anyway. No harm, no foul. Despite the minor flaws, all the key ingredients, that make LoD superb, are there. Interesting plot, that admittedly goes overdrive towards the end. Sensational music that keeps on truckin'. Beautiful vistas and locals, even on Vita. After a total of approx 170 hours, I'm pretty much done with Ys VIII. Great ride though, one I wouldn't change for anything. Whereas PS4's version gets an easy 10/10, this pocket edition has a solid 9/10 in the bag. It's a gem, folks, in any form. Just get it and love it

Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#23 - Golf Simulator 2003 Dark Cloud 2 Difficulty - 6/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 Back in the PS2 days, I had sort of a trifecta of games which made up the best experiences I had on the console. Kingdom Hearts 2, Okami, and Dark Cloud 2. When I first made this account to be a 100% I started with Okami, I did Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS4 (the PS3 version will come to this account someday) before KH3 came out, and it left this one to do to spiritually "complete" my account. I'll obviously be continuing trophy hunting but I had to do this game to feel like my account was where it needed to be, at any point. Well, it was a grind. 2 months and 3 weeks of a solid, unbroken, grind-fest. This game is the poster child for "Excellent game, terrible platinum". The "collect every medal" trophy is the rarest for a reason, and even that would be nothing terrible if not for this game's golf obsession. I'll likely have PTSD flashes every time someone mentions golf for the rest of my life apropos of playing this to completion. Golf, in a game where you shoot lasers at evil balloons riding robots with bladed yo-yo's for arms. All the same, this game is phenomenal. It has been since 2003 and it always will be. It has a surprisingly common platinum, ~ 4%, which sucks given how excruciating it was to achieve, but I'll be proud of this one as long as I continue with this account.
