Popular Post Melty
#34 : CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED Just another day at the office Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Remastered. It was fun replaying this game. I first got it around 10 years ago. Story was still fun as hell. The edition of the "Time Paradox" trophy was probably my favorite part. That easter egg was sooooooooo fucking cool.

Popular Post Cave Johnson
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Sekiro All trophies have been unlocked. It's a bit early to say, but so far Sekiro is my favorite game released this year. I liked it so much that I played through it every time for the different endings. That said, I don't have anything against backing up a save to get the other endings. In fact, I did that for one of the endings in Bloodborne. The difference being that Sekiro is worth playing that many times (Bloodborne isn't :p). The hardest part of NG+ was fighting the final boss every time. I eventually got decent at it; on NG+3 it took me about four or five tries, which is better than NG+ where it took 40 minutes, and my first run that took several hours of dying. While there are some similarities, Sekiro is most certainly not a Souls game. Even though I was well aware of this, it was hard to adapt at first. I never liked blocking or parrying in Souls games, and always just relied on dodging. I quickly learned how that doesn't work at all in Sekiro. Lady Butterfly and Genichiro are the two bosses that forced me to learn the game. I think I finally "got it" after dying dozens of times to those two. That doesn't mean the rest was easy, though. As for the rest, I'm going to hide it because of spoilers: Spoiler Just when I thought I had learned the game, I got to Guardian Ape and got my ass kicked all over again. Once I knew what to do, it was actually a fairly easy fight. Firecrackers help a lot on the first phase, and deflecting his main combo then using the spear makes the second phase a joke. Knowing this made the "rematch" with the ape no problem; it only took two tries. Both versions of Corrupted Monk felt like nothing compared to Owl. Speaking of which, Owl seemed to be the only boss that got more difficult on NG+. Even with max vitality he can easily kill in two hits. I missed fighting Owl 2.0 on my first run, so I had to fight him on NG+. I'm not sure if it would've been harder or easier to fight him on my first playthrough, but either way I'm sure it wouldn't be easy. It took me at least an hour of dying before I finally won. As for the bosses I didn't like, there weren't many. Divine Dragon is an excellent boss fight visually, but not much else. By NG+3 I was really sick of this boss. It's incredibly easy until the very last part, which seems luck-based. Not only that, but dying means having to go through the boring first phase again. I'm not a big fan of Demon of Hatred either; thankfully it only has to be fought once for the platinum. It took me far less time to beat than the final boss, but it was a lot more frustrating (and not much fun at all). I think it's important to have variety, but I greatly prefer most of the other main bosses.

cynical_fate
Plat #19 Devious Dungeon Platinum Hero Get all trophies Plat #20 Devious Dungeon 2 Platinum Adventurer Get all trophies. I honestly got these games since people said the first one was so much fun, so when the second one released I couldn't stop myself from grabbing both and running through them. I decided to make Devious Dungeon 2 as my 20th Plat for the Platinum Adventurer, since we are all on adventure for another platinum. Now that I have a decent amount of easy plats completed I'm going to start digging into my backlog and start completing some of the harder stuff.

Popular Post Paul
#77: Street Fighter V. Time: 150-200 hours. Difficulty: 6/10. I'm not a particular fan of this trophy list. It's painfully tedious, repetitive, and not fun whatsoever. I had more fun grinding Abyss Mode on BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND than I did grinding Survival on Hard and Extreme with every single character in the game. People who started this game in 2016 might have not had the opportunity to use upgrades in Survival and continue by paying 800FM, but at least they were able to receive a decent sum of FM for completing the weekly missions, trials, Survival, etc. I'm jealous of you guys and wish Capcom had never decided to screw us over by greatly reducing the amount of FM earned through challenges, practically forcing us to pay for the platinum. This platinum trophy will not be obtainable unless all three season passes are purchased. Also, the season passes cannot be game-shared as everything is connected to your Capcom Fighters Network account. On a positive note, I'm happy to say that the journey to 100% has finally come to an end. I enjoyed the progress I made online and watching myself rise through the ranks of Bronze, Silver, and Golden League was incredible. As an ardent fighting game fan, I wish most fighting games had online multiplayer trophies like this. I anticipate continuing to play online and entering Platinum League so I can mentor others, including trophy hunters, on how to become better players. Popular Post sephiroth4424
#149 Tales of Vesperia (ps4) Vesperia Master Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Fifth game from the "Tales of" series and possibly the best so far. Loved all the characters except Flynn who i found unnecessary in the party. It's not very common to have a cool protagonist in a jrpg and that was a pleasant surprise. The story was solid and the combat system was good although it felt pretty slow in the beginning. There was also a ton of stuff to do. First playthrough took me 121 hours where i did everything except watching all the skits (i managed to watch 80%). With the 5 hours for the speedrun, platinum time took 126 hours. Leveling was easy since this time i didn't have to buy the 10x exp boost from the grade shop (thank you Patty). Favorite party was Yuri,Estelle,Judith and the beast Rita who broke the game in the last dungeons. Magic is really powerful in these series. What else can i say, ToV took care of all the little details ?

Popular Post MidnightDragon
#44 Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria It’s basically an enhanced version of Dragon Fantasy Book I for PS3 and Vita. There are some additions that are a nice touch (overworld map, quest log, bestiary) and the new trophy list is a nice touch. Love the old school feel and the humor in this game. There's a new chapter in this game that wasn't in any of the previous releases. However, it has two stealth based areas. Of course, there's a trophy for not getting caught during either of those sections. The first one isn't too bad, but the other was really annoying since it was a lot easier to get spotted. I don't really think it was necessary and felt tacked on, but there were a few references to Book II/Black Tome of Ice that made me chuckle. There are a couple technical issues. There are issues with the sound. Some of the music is a bit distorted and many of the sound effects are missing. Sometimes this really wonky music will play right after a battle. Hopefully this ends up fixed. Another issue is occasionally it freezes for a few seconds, usually in a shop menu. It doesn’t happen much, but it can be irritating. That being said, I enjoyed this game immensely and still hold hopes that one day the long-awaited third installment will be here.

Popular Post Carol
#161 The Wolf Among Us (Vita) Full Moon Earned every Trophy in every episode of The Wolf Among Us. I played the PS3 version of this game some years ago and then, some time ago, I bought the Vita version, thinking it would be nice to refresh my memory for the sequel, that, at the time, was still coming. Unfortunately, that's not how things ended up unfolding and, with the colapse of Telltale, I replayed this game more with a feeling of sadness and nostalgia, than anything else. I really liked this studio's games and I wish they knew how to manage their finances better, maybe by just sticking with two or three series, instead of starting so many new things; I also wish they thought of their fans and followers more, because it's definitely sad to see a company like this going away. Things are what they are, so moving on, "The Wolf Among Us" is a very loved game and one of the best games made by Telltale. It has a very well-written story, with very interesting and likeable characters, that we all grew up with. You follow Sheriff Bigby Wolf (aka The Big Bad Wolf), now trying to restore his reputation, by investigating a series of murders and some weird activity in Fabletown. You'll get to see how characters, like Snow White, the Woodsman, the Beauty and the Beast and many others, end up after the stories that we all know from our childhood. Trophy-wise, this is a very straightforward platinum. You just need to complete the game, paying attention to unlocking the several entries in the Book of Fables. Then, just replay some scenes, making different choices, for the remaining entries and you'll have your platinum. If you like a good story, with characters, that are deep and interesting, then I definitely recommend "The Wolf Among Us"!

Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Marvel Ultimate Alliance - PS4 (#200) "Platinum Award" Big milestone called for a solid game from the past. Originally, I was aiming for a certain bullet hell game from by trophy list to mark this achievement. A few stars have kept me from lining up the platinum. On to this game: the gameplay, leveling, and power mechanics continue to be classic Action RPG fodder. Completing the game three times was a bit boring, but it is really the best way to get thru the requirements for the platinum. The characters are numerous and varied. Each has their own techniques and skills which change how you use them both when running solo in their own missions and when in a team. It is tempting to use an offensive powerhouse like Sabertooth, but some others have very critical support skills. The enemies can be a bit repetitive, as with most dungeon crawlers. The mini and main bosses are varied and some require certain steps to be taken in order to debilitate or even strike them. This sometimes mean unnecessary and out of place quick time events, but alas this game is a product of a different era. There is some pesky grinding, like those 100 arcade modes and the 500 ledge kills, but there are tried and true techniques and locations to make the grind as painless as possible. This one was lingering incomplete in my trophy list for a while, having started it with a co-op buddy who was not able to stick with it. With its completion, my completion rate crept above 98%. A few more titanic games remain to clear.

Popular Post Juzota
#118 - The Grand Tour Game Our New Idiot Collect all trophies That has to be the greatest description for a Platinum-trophy ever, right? This game was strange experience. What you do is basically watch episodes of the show and play for a bit every now and then. The actual gameplay was really boring in my opinion, but the episodes were lots of fun as I expected. Maybe I should've just watch the show and not bother with the game, but at least this was something different. If you're a fan of the show (or Top Gear), I guess I could recommend this for you. Great show with easy plat, can't complain too much. I also got 100% completion while going for the Plat. thefourfoldroot
Conception 2 Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 4 A great game with surprisingly compelling characters. The dungeons don't bore you because you can save anywhere and escape and reenter at any level without penalty (looking at you Persona 5!). Trophies require minimal save manipulation, but you'll need to look at a guide to plat efficiently.
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
IT'S OVER IT'S FINALLY OVER #86 - Dead Rising 2: Off The Record Dead Rising 2 : Off The Record Trophy Master. Alright bois, I've gotten one of my most sought after platinums of all time, a dead rising trophy. So back in the day I used to go under the name of Dead Rising and then Deadrising2 on some forums so I've always wanted to complete a dead rising game. I never really got that many trophies on these games though until I purchased this on the ps4. Now I had OTR from day one and my copy had a big bug in it, that crashed whenever the game hit the last mission of the game and I was unable to complete it but on this new digital copy I never got that BUT it still crashed often :/ Anyway I'm glad it's done. Difficulty: 7/10 - It's not hard in the long run really, it's really just a lot of menial tasks just grouped up with the odd hard task added in. The stupidest mistake I made was to do Tiger Tamer, Alpha and Omega, Purewal memorial cup and cramped quarters. I did it though, it was hard but I did it and yknow what I don't think I can ever play it again without having denyce by my side and orange juice with me. Oh and the challenges, fuck some of them. Complete and utter destruction of my time and especially when the game crashed just after the completion of some of these challenges (and the 100,000 kills was annoying before the all powerful SUV). Enjoyment: 8/10 - Now I'd have given it higher but with all the enjoyment I was mentally destroyed by all of the crashing the game put me through. It is highly demotivating to find out you've lost part of your playthrough. I do admit though it brought out some determination in me I've not had for a long time with games and I was absolutely determined to get the platinum, to the point that the co-op partner was my secondary account I levelled up quickly to 25 and then gave to my brother to help me with the co-op missions. Anyway, absolutely worth it. Worth every second of time, every second of skill. This is truly one of my skill defining platinums and I'm glad that I've done it.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#262 - Punch Line Your rank went up! Your new rank is "Punchline Master!" Get all trophies. I already knew I was going to love this game before I played it for two reasons: It was written by Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape series) and a key element of the game revolves around panty shots. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the wacky story, especially when the pieces start coming together in the latter half. The gameplay is mostly what you would expect from a visual novel, but there are some basic puzzle elements thrown in. Oh, and there's also a "danger meter" that fills up if you stare at the girls panties for too long, causing the world to end (did I mention the wacky story? ). Even though fanservice definitely plays a part in Punch Line, there's a lot more to the game than what it appears to be on the surface. If you're a fan of visual novels, I would absolutely recommend giving this one a go. The story alone makes it an experience worth having. The cute girls and panties are just a bonus for people like me.

Popular Post DrZero_1983
My # 117 is: I'm a Collector Myself from Shadow Warrior 2 It wasn't in any way harder then the first Shadow Warrior, but this time there was a soul-crushing trophy involving an infinite grind of orbs (the currency used to upgrade weapons in this game): the trophy asked for 10000 orbs , where you get 82 at most for completing main missions (of which there are only 13) or 42 for side missions or optional bosses... it was one of the most boring and repetitive things ever The absurdity of the highest difficulty setting was another story: every enemy (including random spiders and rats) have boss-like health, could easily one-shot the player and attack in interminable waves, but luckily there are checkpoints everywhere. As a paradox the story bosses were the easiest parts of this mode, since at least they came one at a time! There wasn't a weapon strong enough to deal with those overpowered common enemies before they could kill me, and that at first made me rage a little, but then I had the genius idea of abusing the joke gun that has a low chance of randomly turning enemies into rabbits, making the fights less a display of ninja skills and more a game of slot machines
